Speaker 1 (00:04):
Faith Freedom Florida.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
This is the Brian mut Show. So take a look
at Florida's updated voter registration by party. We have the
latest information that is in from the State of Florida,
the Division of Elections, and it tells a story that
has been long in the making ever since November twenty
twenty one. Republicans that month, for the first time in
Florida's history, took the upper hand in voter registrations and

(00:28):
they haven't looked back. Only one month since November twenty
twenty one have Democrats feared better than Republicans. It was
not last month. When we take a look at the
updated voter rolls as of November first in the state
of Florida, we see that in October, Democrats lost another
twelve thousand, nine hundred voters while Republicans added thirty eight

(00:50):
hundred voters. NPA minor party affiliations fell by thirteen hundred
during the month. To give you an idea, during the
course of this year now, Republicans have fared nearly two
hundred and fifty thousand voters two hundred and forty eight
thousand plus voters better than Democrats. The actual percentage difference

(01:11):
Republicans now have a ten and a half percent advantage
over Democrats by way of voter registration. To put a
number on it, there are now over one point four
million more registered Republicans in the state of Florida than Democrats.
That includes the net gained by Republicans of over sixteen thousand,
six hundred voters in the past month alone, And of

(01:34):
Florida's sixty seven counties, only eight currently have Democrat majorities
by way of voter registration. And by the way, the
big move over the past month happened in Duval Devall
which includes Jacksonville, very close now to potentially flipping to
a GOP majority for the first time in that county's history,
close enough to where could actually happen before the new

(01:54):
year of the trendholds.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
All right, let's go look at your Florida headlines. Triple
ass Thanksgiving travel, We'll hit a wreck in Florida. This year,
more than four point six million Floridians planned to go
at least fifty miles here. Nobody comes here, two point
six percent from last year. Most will drive, but nearly
three hundred thousand will fly for the holidays, So you
can't expect the airports to be busy. Orlando to no.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
We were told by a travel expert that nobody flies
anymore because of the partial government shutdown. What all these
facts that you're putting out there now? The Democrat travel
analyst that Miami uses, I mean, how could he have
been wrong?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
They are coming here Orlando. Top's a list of domestic
holiday destinations nationwide. Fort Lauderdale is second, followed by Miami.
Then they go over to the Hair Newsom's place, Los
Angeles area and Tampa. Actually he's from San Francisco, but
still you get the point. Candidate qualifying underway for an
empty Florida House seat in Palm Beach County. Governor de

(02:52):
Santa scheduled the special election, the primary in January and
the general election in March. That's the House District eighty
seven seed vacated by Republican State Rep. Mike Carusoe, former
State Rep. Is now Palm Beach County's Clerk of Court
and controller. This is going on until noon today. That
is the qualifying for the candidates. So if you want
to run, Brian, there you go. I know that's your district.

Speaker 2 (03:15):

Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
