So yes, overwhelmingly, Israel is dependent on what we supply them with Germany being a particularly important second player.

(00:44):
You may lay down the message right there, maybe for
a future Q and A. Today's said is this Brian?
A couple of questions that came to mind regarding Israel Iran.
Anytime we've seen Israel use the Iron Dome, I've always
wondered how long they can keep it up before they
run out of munitions. Also, with Israel on both the
offensive and defensive, how long can that be maintained without

(01:05):
new supplies. I don't trust the UN or even many
of our allies to step up support to support Israel.
So it seems as though it would be up to
the US to do it. Okay, great note, lot to
unpack there. First award from Israeli Ambassador to the United
Nations Danny Dannon, had this to say yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
When your leaders say that you want to explain it
the state of Visuel, we believe you. When you say
you want to build a nuclear bomb, we believe you do.
We take it very seriously, the threat of a one right.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
So about this as Israel has aimed their operations at
disabling Neron's nuclear program and some of the key figures
behind it. So I'm going to take the questions in
the order that they were presented, starting with the Iron Dome. Now,
for obvious reasons, Israel doesn't advertise say, hey, you know,
here's how many days of supply munitions we've got for

(02:00):
the Iron Dome or for the Aero defense system or
David Sling. What we know is that since the onset
of these Israeli defend systems in twenty eleven, they've always
been able to respond to incoming threats with success. Rates
ranging from ninety percent to greater than ninety nine percent

(02:22):
based on the situation. Now, the highest number of intercepts
by Israel's defense systems within a twelve month period is
fifty two thousand, four hundred, and that is, by the way,
what Israel defended against during the first year following the
October seventh terror attack by Hamas. So between October of

(02:44):
twenty twenty three and October of last year, that was
the number. You're taking a look at, and just imagine
for a moment, a very small country where within a
year you're intercepting over fifty two thousand and attacks on
your country. See Joel shaking his head, and you talked

(03:06):
about it being away of life there. I can't, I can't,
it's hard to fathom, and so on that note. As
of Sunday, in the current conflict with Iran, Iran had
fired over two hundred and seventy ballistic missiles and approximately
one hundred drones at Israel, with twenty two missiles evading

(03:27):
Israeli defenses for a success rate of ninety four percent.
So you take a look at this. We know right
now there are over twenty deaths in Israel, over five
hundred injured. That's with only six percent getting through. At
this point, one can only imagine if they weren't so
effective at defense. So the Iron Dome is best at

(03:52):
combating short range rockets, David Sling is most effective at
combating ballistic missiles and drones. An arrow is designed to
intercept long range missiles outside of Earth's atmosphere. Also, while
on topic, Israel has been developing and is soon expected
to add what is known as the Iron Beam system

(04:13):
that uses fiber laser technology to intercept threads. It holds
the potential to replace the Iron Dome as the most
important defense system in Israel's extensive operation. It is also,
incidentally the system President Trump is interested in developing across
our country. As for where israel supplies come from, given

(04:34):
the express concern about the UN theoretical allies perhaps being
unwilling to step in to assist with Israel's military needs,
there actually are only three countries of concern, only three
countries that actually matter in any meaningful way as it
pertains to Israel's capabilities. Those countries are the US, of course,

(05:00):
and who else? Who else is there? In a big way,
it's actually Germany in Italy, the US, Germany, and Italy
give you an idea over the prior five years where
Israel's munitions have come from. Sixty nine percent have been
supplied by the United States, so we're over two thirds

(05:21):
of their operation basically, Germany thirty percent in Italy they
remaining one percent. Yes, overwhelmingly Israel dependent on what we
supply them, with Germany particularly important as well. Now in
the current landscape, Italy still a reliable partner for Israel

(05:43):
and addition to the United States. However, over the past year,
there were concerns Germany might cave to calls for an embargo.
There have been pressure points of pressure that have been
put on the German government. The German government is a
left leaning government at this point, but in late May,

(06:03):
Germany announced they would continue to supply Israel with weapons.
So it does appear that Israel's sources for its military
needs will continue to be met, regardless of what happens
with the UN or any posturing by other countries that
don't actually factor into this conversation. What remains unclear is

(06:25):
how long Israel's current operation will continue to take place.
So yesterday President Trump had this to say. He said,
Iran and Israel should make a deal and will make
a deal just like I got Indian and Pakistan to
make in that case by using trade with the United
States to bring reason, cohesion, and sanity into the talks

(06:45):
with two excellent leaders who are able to quickly make
a decision and stop. However, on Fox News Sunday, Israel's
ambassador to the US said, we are going to deal
with a nuclear program as best we can. We still
have a few surprises up or sleeve. I think we've
proven that over the past couple of days we're able
to get this done. At this point, what we've requested

(07:06):
from our ally, our greatest ally of the United States,
is defensive posture. They're helping protect our civilians through defensive
missile systems, and that's our ask at this point. Whether
or not they join in battle to ensure a total
dismantlement of Aron's nuclear program is a decision the administration
will have to take. So it is possible, if not

(07:28):
even likely, that President Trump might be saying one thing publicly,
perhaps for optics and effect, while being supportive of Israel's
precision work that's been crippling the Iranian regime because There's
no doubt that not only is Israel a far safer
place if Aron's nuclear program is brought to an end,

(07:49):
but the entire world, given that Iran is the world's
top state sponsor of terrorism. The Brian Mojo podcast is
