Speaker 3 (01:08):
Can you provide us with a contact number for illegal
alien activity in the state of Florida. I don't know
who to call. I know a lot of people that
are working under the table and taking advantage of a
lot of federal programs.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Okay, so the answer is yes, I can provide you
with contact information to report illegal aliens who are working
under the table take advantage of federal government programs. As
I noted once again last week, based on data from
the Center for Immigration Studies, if someone is in the
country illegally, the odds are that they've also found a
(01:51):
way to take advantage of government programs as well, with
sixty three percent of households headed by a non citizen
using at least one welfare program. It's fun, right, and
while that may not have been tolerated previously, it certainly
was under the Biden administration even encouraged, you might say,
(02:13):
and NGOs it would help get illegal immigrants on government
assistance as soon as they get here, starting with the
roof over their head. So we see that Trump is
not having it, and the Floridians are familiar with ICE's
recently completed Operation Tidal Wave, which netted a record eleven
hundred and twenty illegal immigrants in under a week within
our state. The trendline has shown that ICE has been
(02:35):
picking up the pace with daily detentions averaging seventy five
more per day now compared to a month ago. What's
also notable is the depth of the detentions as well.
It is known that the Trump administration has targeted criminal
illegal immigrants for deportation in the early months of this administration.
That is also increasingly expanded to target those with deportation
(02:59):
orders that were not carried out under the Biden administration
and are those who were issued notices to appear during
the asylum seeking process and never followed through. You know,
so the way this thing would work, you know, the
you'd have the illegal immigrants that would approach border patrol
and go aay, say this way, I say assylum, and
(03:24):
then you would have that beaten down border patrol agent
that go, yeah, you're stinking magic a word person, only
the best for you. Screw American taxpayers. What do you need?
You need a house? We got you covered. You want food?
Once again that yet we got you covered? School for
your kids? I mean people love paying property taxes to
send illegal immigrant kids to school. See, we got you
(03:46):
covered there, and then they'll call it a free lunch
for you too, because you know, it's not like people
literally pay with the roof of their head to take
care of all these things for you, right, So it
would kind of go down, but they would also get
a notice to appear, and this is is you're going
to show up before a judge, right and show that
you're legitimate. Yeah yeah, yeah, where's the piece of paper?
(04:07):
And then like it drops to the ground as they
walk off with their government goodies, is what? And so anyway,
those people being removed as well, that was pretty good.
Did I leave anything out, Joel, I'm not really. I
think you got covered and covered yeah, okay, And just
I was I was watching the reaction in Joel sace
all down to the piece of paper falling. Yeah, yeah,
(04:29):
the litter that was the notice to appear. And also
ICE has been apprehending any illegal immigrants present with those
who they are targeting during raids. And so what we
now see most recently is today forty six point four
percent of illegal immigrants detained by ICE under the Trump
administration do not have criminal records, so fifty four percent
(04:51):
criminal records, forty six percent illegals but not criminal records.
Beyond that, it takes me to addressing today's Q and A.
There are multiple avenues you could pursue in reporting illegal
immigrants who are working under the table, taking advantage of
government assistance programs. This includes reaching out to your local
law enforcement agency. Is Florida's newest immigration law, which is
(05:15):
currently being litigated in the courts, compels local law enforcement
agencies to work with ICE under its two eighty seven
G program. Now, what's likely to be the best place
to start, however, just go directly to the source rather
than going to local law enforcement and then hoping they
take the next steps again, you know ICE involved. I
actually like the idea of going to ICE first best
(05:37):
unless it's an emergency. Obviously, ICE has a tip reporting
form and a process that they're attended to. As ICE notes,
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigates more than four hundred
violations of criminal law, ranging from child exploitation to transnational
gang's use of this form and I'm making this available
to you on the Brian mood Show blog. By the way,
(06:00):
tell you more about that here in a second. Use
this form to report suspected criminal activity. Be as specific
as detailed as possible. You are encouraged to provide any
additional identifying details such as places of birth, countries of citizenship,
and any numeric identifiers in the below narrative text box.
(06:20):
The detailed information you provide will assist investigators as they
look into reported violations. We do not provide status updates
for tip information provided. If you provide information, you can
be assured that it will promptly be forwarded to the
responsible office for follow up action as deemed appropriate. Do
not send the same information more than once, and do
(06:43):
not file a duplicate report by calling the ICE tip line.
So more about that here in a second, and I've
got the phone number for you. You either do this on
the online form or you call one or the other.
They say, although there is absolutely no guarantee the tip
information provided will result in monetary payments, ICE has the
(07:04):
discretion and statutory authorization to pay for information and or
evidence that is used in support of criminal investigations. So
here you go. I mean, not only is I saying yes,
we will be a responsive If you have good tips,
you might even be entitled to compensation for some of
the information you provide. So anonymous tips, they say, may
(07:25):
be reported by calling ICE at eight sixty six three
four seven twenty four to twenty three. That's eight sixty
six three four seven twenty four to twenty three. They
also have the online form, and so again I will
have this direct link to the online form if you'd
preferred to do it that way, as part of the
story Dee Brian Mushaw blog, and so there you go.
(07:46):
As we've seen recently, ICE is particularly active in Florida.
So if you have good tips, good reason to believe
that they will act on it.
