Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, thanks for listening, and welcome back to the Brian
Mud Show.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Time now for today's top three takeaways, Trump's MTG divorce
in the battle for the soul of the GOP, along
with some other things.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Happy Monday to you and happy Monday to Joel. Finally
found a Monday the man would embrace. Yeah, how much
of this has to do with the Dolphins?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
The Dolphins? Oh, they won, didn't they? I almost forgot again.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
Yeah, I'm sure, a little bit sure all of it.
It's good.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
I'm glad you're happy. I'm glad you're happy. Are you
down with MTG?

Speaker 4 (00:42):
I don't think I've ever been?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Okay, Yeah, So let's talk about this a little bit
before we get into kind of the festivities around the
MTG thing and kind of the underlying current to her
and some of the others on the periphery of the ride.
We have the first full week with Congress back in

(01:05):
session after the partial shutdown.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Here's Fox's Reinschmels.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
This will be the first week both chambers of Congress
will be in session at the same time since the
government shutdown began in October. Democrats are still dealing with
the fallout of the shutdown showdown as a handful of
House Democrats have criticized party leadership in the Senate after
several Senators who caucus with Democrats voted to reopen the
government without a deal to extend the Affordable Care Act

(01:31):
tax credits.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Okay, so my.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Top takeaway for you today is long overdue, long overdue.
So over the weekend, something happened that needed to happen.
You had the band aid ripped off, the stitched together.
An increasingly freyed relationship between President Trump and Marjorie Taylor Green.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Wait, would this be what the Palm Beach Post is
calling the ugly break?

Speaker 4 (02:00):
You're not really going to have any attractive breaks with MTG,
are you?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
So?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
With this social true social post. On Saturday, the relationship
was officially over when Trump said I am withholding my
support and endorsement of Congresswoman, which was in quotations, which
I think is interesting. If I had a moment to
ask the President about this specifically, I'm like, could you

(02:27):
elaborate on that, Marjorie Taylor Green of the Great State
of Georgia. Over the past few weeks, despite my creating
record achievements for our country, including a total and complete
victory on the shutdown, closed borders, low taxes, no men
in women's sports or transgender for everyone, ending DEI, stopping

(02:51):
Biden's record setting inflation, biggest regulation cuts in history, stopping
eight wars, rebuilding our military, being respected by every country
in the world, having trillions of dollars invested in the USA,
and having created the hottest country anywhere in the world
from being a dead country just twelve months ago, and

(03:12):
so much more. All I see wacky Marjorie do is complain, Complain, complain,
Marsha Marsha. Martin didn't say the Marsha thing, but you
feel like he was channeling that there. I understand that
wonderful conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her
district of Georgia, that they too are fed up with

(03:35):
her and her antics, and if the right person runs,
they'll have my complete and unyielding support. She has gone
far left, even doing the view with their low IQ
Republican hating anchors. Thank you for your attention to this matter,
which is my favorite, because you know, you really get
the flavor with his drawn out posts based upon the

(03:59):
way intended. So this was official business that Thank you
for attention this is a this is a new policy
position of mind, in so many words, is what he's saying.
By the way, the President followed that went up just
a bit later with this one with the nickname that
absolutely has the potential to stick. Marjorie Trader Green is

(04:22):
a disgrace to our great Republican Party.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
And he is he is very good at the nicknames.
I mean still man is prolific. Yeah, So, all right,
a couple of things.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
First, independent of the whole NTG takedown, there his reeling
off of the accomplishments of his first ten months back,
in off of I mean, it's phenomenal that really is
well done and shouldn't be overlooked.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
It is, but shouldn't be.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Then you dive in with this and in my first
I fully agree with President Trump on this one too.
It has been long overdue. So going back to when
Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives in January
of twenty twenty three, I began discussing specific and growing
problems within the GOP and I took a lot of heat.

(05:20):
I took a lot of heat for over a year
on this because I started to call out Matt Gates
and the other mild contents that were closely associated with him,
and a lot of people because Matt Gates had positioned
himself in such a way.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
No, he's the real deal. Hell day.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I mean, people are coming after me for going after Gates.
I'm like, this is a scumbag. If you really knew
the truth about what went on with him and girls
and everything. This all came out eventually, but I wanted
to be clear that the Gates gaining influence and other
male kit tents that were associated with him, it was

(06:04):
all about a personal agenda.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
In Gates case, his main agenda.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Was self serving because he was trying to get the
congressional investigation into what really happened with underage girls to
go away. Thankfully, after undergoing added scrutiny, when Trump temporarily
paid Gates to be AG, he was more or less

(06:32):
shown to be the self serving fraud I had previously
illustrated him to be, and he has sensed I mean,
what was the last time you heard Gates in any
term of relevance. I mean, it's only been a year
since he was nominated for AG and it might as
well have been ten years ago at this point, right,

(06:54):
And he's been so far from relevance.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
But the thing is, it wasn't just him.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
It wasn't just him, right, You may recall that essentially
his closest friend at the prior to Congress was whom
it was none other than MTG. Now it wasn't just that,
kind of like a bird's of a feather come together
on the surface the way you think. Now, there was

(07:21):
more to the commonality there. There was more to that story,
which leads me to my second takeaway, the battle for
the soul of the party.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
But first, President Trump on Epstein.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
This is a noted reversal, and it's an especially good thing.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Foxes Marian Rafferty.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
President Trump making a star reversal. He's now urging House
Republicans to approve the release the files related to convicted
sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the President saying he has nothing
to hide. Democrats and some Republicans have been pushing for
a House vote to release more files. That could happen
as soon as this week if passed the measureable head
to the Senate. It's not clear if a vote would

(08:03):
be held in that chamber.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Okay, this is good, get it all out. Said this
right along get it all out. There's no reason to
hang on to this stuff. Put that issue to bed.
So taking a look at the battle for the soul
of the party. In my second takeway, I'm gonna throw
some names at you.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
And Joel.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
You can weigh in on what you think they have
in common, Okay, Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Nick foyinn Tes.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
I would say people that have gone on the deep
end recently. Okay, all right, so people you know I've
gone off the deep end?

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Yeah, all right, so.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
The answer, And by the way, I would agree just
conceptually with what you're saying there, but most specifically, they
all like Jews about as much as Mom Donnie.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
It's like, what do they have?

Speaker 1 (08:58):
You might have actually even seen something recently where Tucker
was taking up for Mom Donney. I'm not necessarily a coincidence.
It's not that Tucker is a commie. I don't think
he is. But the man is anti Semitic. By the way,
that's true of Gates and MTG two. I'm not going
to waste time on revisiting everything that Gates said and
did because he's not relevant anymore. But as was summarized

(09:23):
by the American Jewish Committee. At the time of his
brief nomination for AG, the American Jewish Committee said, at
a time of historic levels of anti Semitism, we need
someone at the helmet the Department of Justice who will
tackle anti Semitism, not pedal in it. Matt Gaetz's history
of problematical remarks, including perpetuating anti Semitic conspiracy theories, should

(09:43):
be disqualifying for anyone seeking America's top law enforcement officer.
We urge President elect Trump to reconsider this nomination. Otherwise,
the Senate has responsibility to reject it. As for MTG,
there are a lot that you can pull from. If
you're looking to grab a wacky Marjorie moment when it

(10:06):
comes to anti Semitism, you can reach for them. My
favorite in terms of the absurdities. To illustrate her absurdity,
she previously stated that Jews use the lasers to create
California's wildfires so they can profit prob them. That is

(10:28):
why the California wildfires have been so bad in recent years,
because Jews use the lasers to create them so they
could make money.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
So there's a there's a Jewish wildfire cabal. You've got
it now you know interesting now you it would be funny,
except that there are people that actually will take this
and run with it, because you have people that theoretically
represent other people like MTG, and there must be something

(11:00):
to that, and especially if you already have tendencies towards
anti Semitism. By the way, she only has walked that
back in the last two weeks. MTG the whole laser
wildfire thing. Independent of that, MTG has spoken at white
nationalist events with Nick Fuintes.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
It's fun. And as for Fintes, if you're not familiar, I.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Think the best way I can illustrate the extent to
which he's an anti semi He has flat out said
that Jews have no place in Western civilization, something Tucker,
by the way, has increasingly been on board with two.
So this will lead me to my third takeaway. But

(11:47):
first about the whole MTG thing. So Trump, after the
weekends happenings in the news media was asked about this
as he was boarding Air Force one leaving Palm Beach
International yesterday.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Fox is year at Halpern, Georgia.

Speaker 7 (12:05):
Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green's has attacks from President Trump
are increasing threats against her and members of her family.
The President is downplaying those concerns.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
I don't think her life is in danger.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
I don't think.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Frankly, I don't think anybody cares about her.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Yes they do, that's not entirely true. Who cares about
her now, Joel?

Speaker 3 (12:26):
The media?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Now they love her? Yeah, the lover. Yeah. The President
mentioned that she was on the view, but that wasn't
all No. As soon as this ended up.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Going down on Saturday, Dana Bash, I mean we are CNN.
MTG was their big thing yesterday, so they had.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Her on and wait, you're mad at Trump?

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Come on?

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (12:47):
And she gave ut the makeup people, She gave too
much work, the bash everything that she wanted. Why the
long face, Dana? I thought you're happy again MTG. Anyway,
my third takeaway, there's no place for anti semitism in
the GOP. No place for anti semitism in the GOP,

(13:09):
or for that matter, anywhere in our society. The problem
has already been this from AOC and to leave in
their squad to most recently Mom Donnie. The Democrat Party
has proven they're cool with it, right, They're on board.
They have been provided a home for racist hate policy. Politically,

(13:31):
in this country, the home of anti Semitism is the
Democrat Party. Anybody who says anything different A is lying. B.
Why don't you have every other Democrat telling AOC to
leave the squad by Donnie all these people that they
have no place in their party. But it also most

(13:54):
certainly does not have a place in the Party of Lincoln,
or for that matter, in a country that was founded
on Judeo Christian values. From the move of the US
embassy to Jerusalem to the Abraham Accords, President Trump has
been the most pro Israel, pro Jewish president in history,
as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nana, who has pointed out

(14:15):
on multiple occasions now for that matter, Trump's oldest daughter
and son in law are Jewish. It's been an abomination
that there have been those on the fringe of the
MAGA movement that have attempted to corrupt what it represents
to advance a misguided culture of hate, one that in
most instances they evidently do not understand, like at all.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
One of the.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Things that just is, I mean, there are a lot
of anytime you are peddling in anti semitism, it's.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
A face Palm kind of moment. But then.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Really gets fascinating when you have these racists, when you
have these hate bongers that then evoke Christianity while in
advancing anti Semitism. I mean, it's like you people are
so incredibly clueless. I don't you know where to begin
without getting deep into theology. It is not possible, cannot

(15:19):
be reconciled and I mean not even close. To be
a true follower of Christ and to be anti Jews too,
does not work that way at all. And the greater
irony is if those who have taken up hate for
the Jews had it their way the Bible, the Bible

(15:40):
suggests it wouldn't work out the way they think, not
going to go so well for them, and frankly be
a pretty miserable end as they would be left behind.
But that's for another time for now. The Trump GOP
divorce from MTG a very positive step towards combating the
cancer that's grown rapidly in our society in recent years
and has been present with slight hate mongers on the MAGA.
