Adam Curry (00:00):
Silence warrior, Adam curry,

Unknown (00:03):
John C Devorah.

Adam Curry (00:04):

nation media assassinationepisode 1659 This is no agenda
celebrating unsung heroes manbroadcasting live from the heart
of the country here in FEMARegion number six in the
morning, everybody. I'm Adamcurry

John C Dvorak (00:24):
from the other Silicon Valley where everybody's
walking celebrities. I'm JohnCena

Adam Curry (00:34):
I saw I saw those clips. I just saw the titles I'm
like, Oh, okay. I guess he's allover it. He's got the coverage
but before we do anything, HappyMother's Day everybody. Happy
Mother's Day. Happy

John C Dvorak (00:47):
Mother's Day everybody Happy

Adam Curry (00:49):
Mother's Day and I'm seeing people love their mothers
more this year than last yearfor some reason. And

John C Dvorak (00:55):
with good rod because of bird flu

Adam Curry (00:58):
with good reason. And may I suggest if you're in
America, maybe even I don't knowif it's in Europe. But if you
have the opportunity take yourmom to see the movie unsung hero
in theaters now. You she willlove it. You will love it. You
will cry.

John C Dvorak (01:14):
You will you will have a kiss 20 bucks. Goodbye.
You. It's

Adam Curry (01:18):
a good movie. We went to see it yesterday in the
theater. Can you believe it? Youactually Whoa, why? No. We went
to the theater theater. Yes.Yeah, I know. Well, the theater
experience these days is verydifferent. Why? I mean, these
seats where you have electricreclining seats, cupholders lots

(01:40):
of room. Nah, there's leather.

John C Dvorak (01:43):
We have one of the dinner theaters around here
this show first run movies and I

Adam Curry (01:47):
know did art Yes. That's lame to me. I just want
to sit there lame. But

John C Dvorak (01:51):
the electric chairs okay. Yeah, that

Adam Curry (01:53):
might I want to eat dinner while I'm watching the
movie and want to watch themovie and I want to have a
pretzel. The pretzel, pretzeland and a sugary drink and a
sugary

John C Dvorak (02:03):
Datsun. Good and plenty.

Adam Curry (02:08):
Well, I think before

John C Dvorak (02:11):
so what's this movie about that you bring up?
Oh,

Adam Curry (02:14):
it's it's about an Australian family. The dad's
concert promotes a true storyconcert promoter. And he goes
bankrupt in Australia during Ithink it's 87. So it was like a
financial crash and must havehit Australia harder. And so the
family moved to Nashville andthey got like eight kids, seven

(02:36):
kids. And of course everythingfalls apart and they wind up
cleaning scrubbing toilets andmowing lawns has this facet yet
sounds uplifting and yeah, yeah. But then what happens is the
daughter becomes a musicsuperstar. Two of her brothers
become music superstars. And forking and country and Rebecca St.

(02:58):
James, this is all 90 stuff. Andit's a true story. And it's it's
good. But of course at the endit turns out it was really the
mom that kept everyone together. So it's a mom is the unsung Oh,
I get it. You see it's abeautiful now now people won't
go and see it now that I'vegiven it away.

Unknown (03:15):
Thanks. Spoiler alert.

Adam Curry (03:19):
Anyway, for I probably I'm pretty sure that we
have done this every year sincethe inception of this program. I
think we have always made timeto celebrate the magic that is
Eurovision televisionbroadcasting.

John C Dvorak (03:35):
Let's let's put it a different way. Change that
we have to you. I'm sorry. Youare the one that has. Oh, I have
nothing to do with this segment.Yes, you are. You were a kid and
you got into it when you're akid and you've been into it ever

(03:57):
since and you watch itreligiously. You've never missed
it ever.

Adam Curry (04:01):
I don't think I've ever missed a Eurovision Song
Contest. Ever.

John C Dvorak (04:05):
You've never I from what I can tell you never
have and you bring us and wedon't even need to watch it
because you bring us up to speedevery year with your report.
Yes.

Adam Curry (04:15):
Well, this was a very controversial year John a
lot going on the report is alittle more complex. Tell me
more. Well, first of all, we hadIsrael now you have to
understand that Eurovisionbroadcasting the Eurovision
broadcast system EBS by the waythe the theme this year was
united by music. So of course wehave Australia is in the

(04:38):
European weight every year we gothrough this

John C Dvorak (04:42):
but what was the theme last year?

Adam Curry (04:45):
The Satan on the way I think Okay. By the way, the
true winner this year once againwas Satan who has taken over
Europe there's no doubt aboutit. But but it's not just your
opinion you have Australia's inThey're and Israel and Russia,
they kicked Russia out becauseyou know, Russia bad. Russia,
Russia is not even allowed toparticipate anymore. And this

(05:09):
end, as we noticed this year, everything was very effeminate,
more so than than in previous or

John C Dvorak (05:15):
so. And that bearded lady one yes, even more
so even more so.

Adam Curry (05:20):
So first we need to start with the controversy that
Israel was in this at all wereunited by music, but no, no, we
need Palestinian protests.

Unknown (05:32):
It's the largest live music event in the world, and
one that prides itself onbringing countries together
through music. But this Yes,Eurovision contest held in the
Swedish city of Malmo is moredivided than ever over its
inclusion of Israel, and
would like it to be so that themusic will unite people, and we
all love music, but this yearmusic is dividing people and I

(05:55):
don't like that
putting on a show like youraudition is just just feel
strong when these things arehappening. So I'm showing my
support from Palestine and hopethat the countries and the
leading people of the countrieswill react in some way. Crowds

Adam Curry (06:12):
of of a 10,000 people took to the city streets
chanting Free Palestine. Sothere was a lot of lot of
protesting and it was amazing. Icouldn't believe my locker now
that was held in Malmo, Swedenthis year, listen to who shows
up, and you tell me who thisprotester is. 100,000

Unknown (06:32):
visitors who have gathered in Malmo for Eurovision
competition to prides itself onuniting countries through music,
but the inclusion of Israel hassparked outrage among pro
Palestinian demonstrators, justlike on American and European
campuses. They're calling forboycotts and disinvestment from
Israel, protesting against thecountry's operations in Gaza.

(06:54):
I think they can be everywhere. And once again, young people are
leading the way showing showingthe world how they're called,
how we should react to this.
Yeah, who was that?

John C Dvorak (07:08):
I don't know. grand ideas. It was a girl with
a Dutch accent it was

Adam Curry (07:12):
Greta Greta tune Berry. What were the caffeine
scarf everything she's gone fromclimate change to caffeine.

John C Dvorak (07:21):
Oh, my God, that's a catch.

Adam Curry (07:23):
She is a professional protester. Let's
just put it that way.

John C Dvorak (07:26):
I guess you'd have to say that now a
professional protest. He'sobviously not focused on what
you should be focused on now. Ifshe's gonna be what she's
focused on, which is climate. And she's doing this got nothing
to do with this is ridiculous. You're right. She's now she's
just she blew her cover. You can

Adam Curry (07:42):
just call her up and say I need you to protest for
this and like, Okay, do you havea scarf? Hi, I'm good to go.
Now,

John C Dvorak (07:49):
where she gets a scarf.

Adam Curry (07:52):
She probably selling them. So there we're now to the
incredible controversy, whichhappens just hours before the
dress rehearsal. The Netherlandswas in the finals. They were to
be in the finals. But somethinghappened. And for the first time
in my memory, the years andeveryone I've seen every single

(08:16):
one of them since I've beenalive. The Netherlands was
disqualified from participation.The

Unknown (08:23):
EBU the organizers off to Eurovision have actually kept
their public statement rathervague, just saying that there
was an ongoing policeinvestigation involving a female
crew member without reallygiving any further details. But
then today in the course of theafternoon, off rotos, the Dutch

(08:43):
broadcaster who is one of themany broadcasters funding and
broadcasting the Eurovisionevery year has come out with a
statement on social media sayingthat your client did in fact
make a threatening movementtowards a female crew member.
But this was in reaction to hernot leaving him alone after he

(09:05):
repeatedly said that he didn'twant to be filmed. They are
calling to disqualification orthe exclusion of your client
from the event ratherdisproportionate and say there
that they are disappointed withthe decision. As you can imagine
the reactions of the fans havebeen pretty intense, both at the
venue as well as on socialmedia. They they say they're

(09:29):
confused and they don't quiteunderstand why this happened.
Very

Adam Curry (09:33):
very fishy, John very fishy. Why all of a sudden
they disqualified

John C Dvorak (09:39):
what has to show some guy on the on the song a
dance team for the no

Adam Curry (09:46):
no the guy on the network because it's just a guy
with huge pointy shoulder toshoulder pads with the song Euro
Papa, which is about the EUbeing your daddy. So I don't
think

John C Dvorak (09:57):
there you go. That's the real reason And

Adam Curry (10:02):
I guess them here. Oh, Papa.

John C Dvorak (10:05):
We gotta get a copy of that.

Adam Curry (10:08):
No, you don't. I'm not playing any songs this year.
They were all equally bad.

John C Dvorak (10:14):
I heard the I heard the Israeli woman she
she's had a pretty decentsummer. She says, it's got that
Taylor Swift song style. Youknow, it's like, milk toast.
Yeah,

Adam Curry (10:25):
no, it was all pretty bad. But so whatever
happened, I think the you know, but I'm sure that they were just
sticking a camera in his face.He was like one of those moves.
And while you're disqualifiedright away that the Netherlands
tuned out unanimously, thelowest television ratings ever,
of course, outrage, outrage, well, how could this have

(10:45):
happened? Now, we're starting toget ready to pay it off. And I
am just so pleased that I canbring you two short clips from
the BBC

John C Dvorak (10:55):
before you do this. I'm gonna say this. I
followed it. I had I was gonnaget some clips. I said, why
bother? Because Adam will overcover it. And but I did I waited
No, I because I knew today wasthe day they're going to win or
wins. And I have no idea who itis. So this would be a surprise
to me. I let you report it. AndI'm gonna be shocked. Well,

Adam Curry (11:19):
and typically, unlike, unlike the outcome of
the outcry for everyone, like weshould not have this be a
political contest. It's always apolitical

John C Dvorak (11:30):
context. We've noticed that over the year that
is obvious. It has been acomplete

Adam Curry (11:35):
political contest. I wouldn't even say Israel had it
in the I think in the in thethere's pre judging. It's the
whole thing is had the wholething is rigged. It's worse than
US elections. Trust me. I thinkIsrael probably would have had a
chance to win but of course, allthese other countries gave

(11:56):
Israel zero points, which isfringe points, or 0.0 points,
because you know, you want yourgenocide errs, so but it wasn't
political at all.

John C Dvorak (12:07):
So let me guess the winner was Joe Biden. Not

Unknown (12:12):
even close. After protests and controversy, the
winner of the 68th EurovisionSong Contest in Sweden has been
announced. It's Switzerland.
Was Nemo singing the code thecompetition was marred by

(12:35):
divisions over Israel'sinvolvement which sparked pro
Palestinian demonstrations inthe city of Malmo where
Eurovision was held. At onepoint though, when the votes
came in Israel's Eden Golan wasin the lead. She finished fifth
with 375 points, but it wasSwitzerland and Nino's night,
taking 591 points. Maramachinery is in Malmo covering

(12:59):
the extravaganza and

Adam Curry (13:00):
so it's very obvious we went for a safe a holistic
through Switzerland and neutraloff neutral beat just let's just
do that it's safe. Now. Listencarefully.

John C Dvorak (13:09):
For one thing, though, they could have played
they actually played their songand said that piece of crap they
played,

Adam Curry (13:15):
though, that's the winning song. Well,

Unknown (13:18):
stay tuned after a week of high drama, and high
controversy at last all boileddown to who sang the best song
according to the juries, and whosang the best song, according to
audiences. And yes, as youmentioned, already, the winner
Switzerland winning actually bya good margin over Croatia,
which came second and France, which came third. It was an

(13:41):
amazing competition and Nemo, the Swiss act, they were
absolutely brilliant. Theyliterally won. The majority of
all the jury votes, and theyended up coming first. It was a
nail biting final couple ofseconds. And you saw Croatia and
you saw Switzerland certainlydid 183 points from the audience

(14:03):
vote to win the competition. Andthey got that and they were so
pleased now

Adam Curry (14:08):
listening from this report. Would you consider this
to be a band?

John C Dvorak (14:14):
Nemo Well, you

Adam Curry (14:15):
heard they they kept they they won. They did a great
job. They had a fantastic cup.Oh,

John C Dvorak (14:20):
I see where you're going. So this is
actually just a solo act. Andthat's their pronoun. Yeah, you

Adam Curry (14:26):
better believe it.

Unknown (14:26):
Switzerland has won the Eurovision Song Contest. Nemo is
the first non binary contestantto take the home to the crystal
microphone. That song The codeis a drum and bass opera, rap
and rock tune about niemalsjourney of self discovery as a
non binary person.

John C Dvorak (14:45):
Okay, hold on, hold on. You're not even gonna
do it.

Adam Curry (14:49):
You're not even at the punch line. journey of self
discovery as a non binaryperson. So do you get it the
song is about pneumos their selfdiscovery is a nine Nonnberg But
burn burn airy persons.

Unknown (15:02):
That song The code is a drum and bass opera, rap and
rock tune about niemals journeyof self discovery as a non
binary person. Switzerland'swinner Nemo faced the press and
flew the flag of pride.
This was one of the most queerrepresentations we've seen at
Eurovision which is likeamazing. I want to shout out all

(15:24):
the other queer artists thisyear, like, give it up, give it
up for everyone. And just to bea part of it was was special and
to know that that a song thathas changed my life and a song
where I just speak about mystory has touched so many people

(15:46):
and maybe inspire other peopleto stay true to their story is
is is the most insane thing thathas ever happened to me.
Europe is lost. I mean,

Adam Curry (16:02):
gay lesbian, sure. But queer non binary they them
there. No, this has to berejected. This is it. This is
just just in time for PrideMonth. Come on. How does that
hater? Yes, I'm a hater.

Unknown (16:23):
I am listening to your story.
My story.

John C Dvorak (16:28):
That's what he said. Or she was one of my very,
very. Yeah, so that's that. Soyou brought up a point, which is
the grammatical issues

Adam Curry (16:39):
with the BBC.

John C Dvorak (16:42):
Yes, the sticklers. Yes. We want
sticklers they wouldn't allowthis kind of thing where you'd
say they for a guy who rode in adress or whatever he is. She
they what am I doing? I can'teven keep up myself. But we're
trying to confuse but when

Adam Curry (16:58):
didn't Yes, and there it is. But when did non
binary all of a sudden that'squeer. That was never in the
book.

John C Dvorak (17:06):
And remember, I think non binary was started
queer.

Adam Curry (17:11):
Now queer used to just be gay guys. They used to
just be queers. Remember thatthe good old days? Yeah,

John C Dvorak (17:17):
we're here. We're queer. Get used to it. That was
the original one. Yes, Gay Pridefirst one of the pride months
took place and it was an 80s Ibelieve and we're here we're
queer get used to it was the wasthe banner but it didn't at the
time refer to non binaries, butit's been taken over. hijacked.
We've had clip after clip oflesbians bitching about the

(17:38):
situation.

Adam Curry (17:39):
And remember, not only was Nemo with code, the
queer winter, but we had thecrazy Irish queer.

Unknown (17:47):
Do you know? Do you know what makes me special? I'm
a queer.

Adam Curry (17:55):
Alright, so queer is non queer is non binary witches,
apparently. I mean, get ittogether, people get a
definition down. So So you know, sis genders.

John C Dvorak (18:09):
Figures, Adam. Yeah. Who forces himself to
watch this crap. I love it.

Adam Curry (18:15):
I love it. The problem then just in time for
Pride Month and

Unknown (18:19):
target is reportedly pulling LGBTQ themed merchandise
from certain locations duringpride month. Bloomberg reports
The move follows a backlashblamed for a drop in sales last
year, some stores had to removeitems after a spike in
confrontations between workersand customers.

Adam Curry (18:38):
Where'd you get that report? That's from ABC.

John C Dvorak (18:41):
Where are the locations? Did they mention any
of them? 101 of them inCalifornia is in Texas as it
dealt Louisiana is it? Michigan?

Adam Curry (18:53):
I guarantee you it's not Berkeley and it's not
Austin. I can guarantee you thatright now. I don't know where it
is. But it's only it's not anyothers not those two. Those two.

John C Dvorak (19:05):
Ah, so you know this reporting I got a few
examples of this today. Thisleft out information. They don't
tell you anything. They tell youwell, this is happening but they
don't tell you what the look youdon't have. You can't get a
feeling for for thedevelopmental aspect of it. You
don't understand you. They don'twant you to understand anything

(19:25):
anymore. They just make theseblanket blanket statements and
they hope that you can kind oflive with it lying.

Adam Curry (19:35):
What did you say? What did you call me? Say that
again? What did you say?

John C Dvorak (19:41):
Say anything?

Adam Curry (19:42):
Live with it clear? That's what you said did Wow. I
can just see you walk on thestreets of Berkeley. Hey, live
with it clear.

John C Dvorak (19:52):
You talking to me?

Adam Curry (19:54):
I'm sorry. This is I mean, this is just fallen times.
This is not cool. Oh, whathappened to ABA ABA Of course
there's a special it's stillrelevant ABA still rockin it.
But no, we got to have queersnow.

John C Dvorak (20:15):
Sure, Palestine. That's my favorite. It just

Adam Curry (20:18):
has to stop. It has to stop. Or at least we can just
stop doing the day them Come onstop it now BBC, although in
Britain now if

John C Dvorak (20:28):
you've made them is annoying, but all the other
pronouns are to what? Why isthis so important to these
people that they, they, theystart to cry on tick tock. If
they're missing, you know, pronoun is not even misgendered
is Miss pronoun. Yep, there's abecause you can be any gender in
the world and be GJ or whateverit is. Because that's your

(20:49):
pronouns as 100 There's never arelation. This is interesting.
There's not a directrelationship between the
pronouns and the genders. No,exactly. It just is random
genders and random pronouns ontop of random genders now, so
that makes it just what is thepoint of doing this to the
public? Why, why is thisadvocated by anybody? Well, I

(21:12):
can tell you what it's resultedoff my lawn.

Adam Curry (21:15):
It's what is resulting in in Sweden, they now
have equality Ombudsman's inschools, just in case someone
has misgendered. In this case, anon binary student was
misgendered by the teacher andthe teacher refused to call the
student the sweetest hen, whichis the sweetest word for, for

(21:39):
for they. And now the school hasto pay the aggrieved student
$15,000. Yeah,

John C Dvorak (21:51):
don't get that one.

Adam Curry (21:53):
That's in that well, it's in the Daily Mail. So I'm
gonna grade store in thatawesome. Yeah, that's what it's
for. It's a money making scheme.I'm sorry, it was just, I'm just
putting my foot down on thepronouns. No, no, but just
stopping that.

John C Dvorak (22:10):
You can put your foot down all you want is the
Titanic we're dealing with here. You gotta wait for it to sink.

Adam Curry (22:21):
It's only a matter of time, right now, you know,
before LGBTQ really popped offbig time it was black lives
matter. You remember when BlackLives Matter had that big. It
was the big concert, and it wasin LA, I think was Los Angeles.
And that was like the bigculmination. And then all of a
sudden, everyone was on thepride stage. And then Black

(22:42):
Lives Matter was like by Sia,remember that? And vaguely,

John C Dvorak (22:46):
I don't remember it is obviously as

Adam Curry (22:49):
well, that's and then everything kind of moved
over to

John C Dvorak (22:54):
were taken over the years. And then

Adam Curry (22:56):
all of the leaders of Black Lives Matter. They all
kind of went being boughtmansions and kind of disappeared
into the woodwork and all thehundreds of millions of dollars
that Nike and all thesecompanies went to Haiti kind of
all all just everything justwent quiet all of a sudden,
well, now, now with the Israelprotests, and also some LGBTQ

(23:19):
stuff. I think you'll recall, many of these smaller
organizations like justice forAustin's black artists
coalition, or something likethat. They never had a, you
know, a 5013 c status. They wereall members of different larger
organizations, which typicallywere really meant to bust people

(23:41):
out of jail, without bail, or tojust get them out of jail. So
you get arrested, you go tojail. Here's the money that the
people gave you to, to forward, you know, to to progress African
Americans in the arts. And ofcourse, it was only used to bus
the protesters out of jail thetroublemakers. So now, black
lives matter a lot of the spiritor role today. I'm so so tired

(24:05):
of all this crap. Oh,

Unknown (24:08):
brother. There we go. Yeah, I'm

Adam Curry (24:10):
almost 60. So now, a lot of Black Lives Matter these
small organizations, these bogusorganizations. Now they're
figuring out that they all gotripped off.

Unknown (24:22):
This is a unique situation in that we have two
progressives engaged in what Ithink is going to be a very
bitter fight. Black Lives Matterglobal network foundation is
suing Tides Foundation, which isa nonprofit that manages cash
for nonprofits who don't havestatus with the IRS. So smaller

(24:45):
nonprofits. BLM GNS is sayingthat they entrusted $33 million
to Tides Foundation back in 2020when they did not have status
with the IRS. Essentially forsafekeeping and from paying for
management of that cash in 2021,when they asked for that cash

(25:07):
back ties refused and said theywere giving money to other BLM
chapters. So the key question iswho has the right to the
donations that came into BlackLives Matter global network
foundation. So this is a bigfight. One of the things that
tides has been in the news forlately is that it's acted as

(25:31):
sort of a flow throughnonprofit. For a lot of the
groups that are funding thecampus protests at Columbia, at
NYU at Berkeley, so very muchunder the microscope right now,
what is tides, which is anorganization that has about $1.4
billion in its coffers. Likewhat what is Thais really doing

(25:55):
with the cash that is entrustedto them by these other groups?
And how were they doling it out?

Adam Curry (26:01):
Yeah, notice it was 33 million thereafter which is
no coincidence of course, andtides is clearly a troublemaker
organization to clearing housefor Soros he put 14 million I
know this

John C Dvorak (26:14):
whole thing the way that that story was
described I know about this isgoing on it's kind of almost a
local story. The the way itsounds the IRS should go look at
this Yes, it sounds as thoughthey're using the ties
foundation as a slush place forslush funds yes to go in and out
and and and you know these guysoh, we're too small to be a not

(26:38):
we're a small nonprofit, therefore we give it to the
tides and they give it back tous. What is this going on here?
You're supposed to it's not thathard to file this paperwork. If
you're going to be a nonprofitbe a nonprofit. Don't be a phony
baloney front. Yeah,

Adam Curry (26:51):
that's what they are phony baloney front, exactly.
For for Marxists. For as theysay trained Marxists.
troublemakers, troublemakers. And corporate America should be
ashamed of themselves. So thisfall right into play. And you
know, just while we're on it, ifall these protesters are so Oh,
so mad about you got to divest. You know what? Get rid of your

(27:15):
Gmail. All right. Google is abad apple and all this. If you
really serious get rid of yourYouTube. Stop it no more YouTube
for you. All of this stuff, butnow they're not sincere. They're
not sincere. They're phonies. They're all phonies. phonies?

(27:36):
Yeah, phonies, Ill phonies, little nonbinary phonies, tired
of them. I really am. I'm tiredof actually

John C Dvorak (27:44):
little non binary photos to show I think is
probably an apt term. I'm almosta good show Tylo long. But I
think it's apt because I look atthese, these you know, blue
haired women and all the rest ofit. And you have to think that
you drawn attention to yourself, you got a, you know, a bone in

(28:05):
your nose and you got the wholenine yards with it with the look
of fields.

Adam Curry (28:10):
It's not a bone. No, it's, it's a cow ring. It's a
boy

John C Dvorak (28:16):
or a bone with doesn't make any difference. It
doesn't matter. But it's justlike these are phonies. Yeah.
And

Adam Curry (28:22):
this is all starting the others has a great book. I
haven't finished reading it. Sothe age, age of agreed grievance
eight, what is the age of griefof grievance?

John C Dvorak (28:33):
Yeah, something like that. This book, and it's
very

Adam Curry (28:37):
interesting because it's all starting in middle
school and in high schools. Thisis where these kids are really
getting Psyops and, and I havenow learned about this. And this
is I mean, it's crazy. Thisthing called the whole child
initiative. Yes, this is around.Okay. So what this is, is the

(28:59):
CDC is now in it with money, thewhole child initiative, they,
they give money to probably thesimilar or the same type of
psychiatrists, and doctors whoare after one meeting telling
your kid you're a boy. Andthey're putting these clinics
into schools. And then and thenthe parents are being told, hey,

(29:22):
you know, it's okay, checkups, everything, it's all free as
vaccines

John C Dvorak (29:26):
is to get all the kids Shut up with RNA mRNA
vaccines,

Adam Curry (29:31):
but also propaganda is propaganda. And at this
point, take

John C Dvorak (29:38):
these pills you're a boy, not

Adam Curry (29:42):
be a boy, you gotta homeschool you and or start your
own start a new school becausethe good news is the way this is
going. These children are notgoing to reproduce. So this will
be over in. By the time yourkids are third generations to
generation. It'll end becausethey're just gonna die off
they're either sterilized or, orsame sex. non binary no binary

(30:07):
No, no nary little non binaryphonies. It'll go and they'll
have no job because they'reuseless. I'm like, why even try
to pay moms for liberty? Stoptrying to change the school.
It's not worth it. Start a newschool moms Liberty school,
whatever. It's not worth itanymore.

Unknown (30:32):
You're done. I am dad. Yes.

Adam Curry (30:37):
I have sick and tired of it.

John C Dvorak (30:40):
The audience numbers Okay. Well, your

Adam Curry (30:43):
audience numbers. They're gonna go down. You think
they're gonna go down? BecauseI'm saying this.

John C Dvorak (30:49):
Oh, I'm sorry. No, most people like like a rant
about blue haired people

Adam Curry (30:52):
are all upset with me.

Unknown (30:55):
So

John C Dvorak (30:57):
the point I was making at the beginning about
this, there's a movement goingon to to to issue celebrities.
Yeah, like, this is hilarious. And it's but it's not what you
know. It's interesting. I havethe contrasting clips here.
These are people on Tik Tok towho taught by we have one of our
producers is following thisclosely and I got all updated.

(31:19):
This is about this is some sortof rejection, I think to to the
because of the I think theeconomy combined with people
throwing their richness in yourface at the Met in particular.
Oh, yeah. It's become an issuewith the masses at at the TIC

(31:40):
tock level. But it's being Ihave to play this first, which
is the NPR take on it becausethey have actually had a report
on it. I think it's NPR is it?Yes. Isn't. It says let's say

Unknown (31:55):
voices of America. This is NPR or PBS social.

John C Dvorak (32:02):
Sorry, wait, wait. So this the NPR report and
so that to find a reason orrationale, they've dreamed this
up? This is bogus. This is whatyou're going to hear is complete
bullshit. Here we go. A social

Unknown (32:16):
media campaign aimed at pushing celebrities to speak out
about the conflict in Gaza wentinto overdrive this week after
the Met Gala. And here's ChloeVeltman reports. Users on Tik
Tok earned millions of views fortheir videos telling people to
block stars like Taylor Swift,Nicki Minaj and Matt Damon. The
calls to block celebrities onsocial media as you say

Adam Curry (32:38):
Matt Damon? Yeah, it's Matt Damon has now Matt
demon Taylor Swift, Nicki

Unknown (32:45):
Minaj and Matt Damon.

John C Dvorak (32:47):
The course demons celebrities

Unknown (32:49):
on social media have been going on for months. But
Monday's Mendala with itsunchecked display of privilege
and wealth. Enraged, Tik Tok islike Christopher Claflin flexing
on the peasants only works whenthe peasants aren't watching
other peasants be wiped off theface of the planet. The star
studded annual event took placejust as 1000s of Palestinians
were fleeing an Israeli assaulton Rafa Gaza. The block seeks to

(33:12):
undermine stars advertisingrevenue on social media, but
many users on these platformsare also complaining that they
are still receiving ads relatedto stars they blocked. That's
because ads are often not runthrough the celebrities
accounts. But third partiesChloe Veltman NPR news
was three

John C Dvorak (33:30):
parties. Couple of things here. One, this is a
media example. This is a wedon't use this term much but I
call it shoehorning andshoehorning is where you have a
phenomenon taking place and youdon't understand it. And instead
of just listening to it and kindof figuring it out fit it into a

(33:52):
model. You fit it in youshoehorn it into a mA and in
this case it's Gaza there is noclips I have there's no
indication of this this is justa a a push back against the it's
easy to read these pizza richeat the rich or the it's an eat

(34:14):
the rich thing is that it has alot to do with it and it all
stem and it's not like thisBritish woman said it hasn't
been going on for months. Thisis fairly recent. In fact, the
Tick Tock is one clips he claimsit's been going on for two weeks
and and boiled up during the MetGala which has really offended a
lot of people but let's listento these guys who are actually

(34:38):
pushing it and they're on TikTok. They're talkers and let's
just start with the first guy. They're talkers.

Unknown (34:46):
talker blocking celebrities
now the latest trend in socialmedia including high profile
celebrities such as KimKardashian, who has already lost
millions of followers. This allstems from a recent publicity
event at the Met Gala in whichinfluencer Haley Bailey said Let
them eat cake which as you knowif you ever took a history class
back in college that is areference to the famous Queen
Marie Antoinette, whoessentially belittled her

(35:08):
peasants and said that she wasbetter to than doing to be an
elitist with a lot of money. Andthis has caused massive outlash
over social media due to thefact there's a massive wage
disparity in the world today, with influencers making millions
and millions of dollars to poston social media. And everyday
people simply struggling to makeends meet and pay their bills
and get a job. The effect hascaused many celebrities to lose

(35:28):
massive amounts of followershoping the celebrities will lose
a lot of their income as aresult. What do you guys think
about this whole trend aboutblocking celebrities on social
media?

Adam Curry (35:38):
Okay, wow, that I'm gonna withhold judgment until
you're finished with yourpresentation.

John C Dvorak (35:43):
Now, the other thing is, you know, again, NPR
went with Gaza as the reason forthis, which is bogus. They could
have gone with climate change, but that was a bit hard. And
they weren't gonna go with wageissues or anything like that,
because that hurts Biden. Yeah.So they have to dream up this
Gaza thing. And it was reallyannoying to listen to their

(36:04):
report because I'm sure there'sprobably some tick tock are out
there that has something to sayabout Gaza. But this other guy
here, this is the second one, Iam not gonna this is the only
one I had. The other only wayI'm gonna play is, again, more
like the typical chick talkercomplaining.

Unknown (36:25):
Okay, so this whole trend of blocking celebrities
has got to be the best thing toever happen to the internet,
you're unaware of. There'scurrently a trend going around
on tick tock and gaining a lotof popularity of people that are
blocking celebrities on socialmedia. Celebrities, such as
Oprah of the rock, KimKardashian, the thinking behind

(36:45):
this is that these celebritieshave ascended into almost a
godlike tear. In society. They're so rich, they're so
famous, and they do a lot ofweird stuff, and they don't give
a shit about us. But if we alljust go and block them and don't
pay any attention to them, thenthey lose all of their brand
deals, all of their ad revenueand all of their popularity. And

(37:06):
this trend literally juststarted two weeks ago, but his
picked up major popularity inthe last few days. And Kim
Kardashian has already lost 3million followers on Instagram.
And I personally think this isawesome. I mean, these
celebrities are so rich andfamous. And then they go to
these places like the Met Gala, which by the way costs $75,000

(37:31):
per ticket and they dress up andall this weird, demonic shit and
just act like they're betterthan everyone else when they
don't realize that we're thereason that they're famous in
the first place. So now you letme know what celebrities should
we do next? Should we do TaylorSwift should we do doji cat who
should we do?

Adam Curry (37:50):
Alright, so your your ultimate conclusion here

John C Dvorak (37:55):
that there's a kind of a push back against
these I think it's the that theportion of the public was
offended by the fawning bullcrap about this Met Gala. And if
you want to hear my overallconclusion, I think Trump's
behind this whole thing. I thinkelements of the intelligence

(38:16):
community have decided to pullthis stunt the elements that are
pushing for Trump because Trumpwhen he was when he was offended
years ago this is part of thatretribution thing when he was
offended years ago and notinvited to the Met Gala even
though he had before beeninvited. I think this is a
payback Well,

Adam Curry (38:39):
that's not a bad way of looking at this is. This is
100% Pathetic it's patheticpeople aren't you said it
percent though. I did becauseit's 100% Pathetic. It's
pathetic people who think theymake a difference to anyone's
life on social media. And I'mlooking at you know, authority

(39:02):
dot social people posting allday long. And at the end of the
day, wow, I really made adifference. I started a
conversation No, you didn't knowyou didn't people on X, you're
there because you're beingsucked into a system of pathetic
pneus. That's all that it is.Please run around in circles.
Post on your social networks.Post on tick tock post on Insta,

(39:25):
no one cares. It doesn't make adifference. It's not going to
change anything in the world. While the leaps crush you know,
that's it. That's all that itis. Please you know X has more
freedom of speech but not ofreach. It's the same thing with
tick tock you're not gonna getyou know a what you get a number

(39:47):
millions of views. Who knows? It's probably all lies. It's
probably a lie. It's just liesis just a number. You think
you're doing something you thinkyou're broadcasting something
you're not? You're not it'smethodic Stop it all of you. Go
outside. Look at the NorthernLights.

John C Dvorak (40:06):
Throw a ball.

Adam Curry (40:08):
Just north get the Northern Lights, please. Here
was what what a bogus hype. Thiswas besides beautiful pictures.
You know the number of peoplewith y2k freak outs. Whoa, whoa,
the grids gonna light up onfire. The internet's down. Are

(40:30):
we just gonna know ham bandswere dead. For sure the ham
bands were dead all Saturdaymorning, Friday evening, but
around Saturday afternoon theypicked up and it's good for the
space weather guy. I thinkeveryone really got a got a kick
out of that. I've

John C Dvorak (40:48):
got three clips. Okay, what you got? And I have a
question, which is another oneof these. What are they missing
here? This is part of it. Butfirst I'm gonna start with a
minor clip. This is a quickrundown that PBS did and then
I'm gonna follow it up withbetter stories by NPR NPR did a

(41:08):
better job

Unknown (41:09):
okay. And unusually strong storms on the Sun are
producing brilliant displays inthe night skies here on Earth.
The splashes of dazzling colorsknown as the Northern Lights are
being seen as far south as theFlorida Keys across the west
coast from Seattle to SouthernCalifornia and in Europe from
the United Kingdom to Spain.Scientists say we're in a period

(41:30):
of peak solar activity. A largenumber of explosions called
solar flares and coronal massejections are sending energized
particles into space. When thoseparticles hit Earth's atmosphere
and magnetic field of vividcolorful glows produced. The
spectacle is drawing people outinto the night to see it and
photograph it. No is scienceSpace Weather Prediction Center

(41:52):
issued a rare and severegeomagnetic storm warning,
saying power grids, GPS and highfrequency radio transmissions
could be affected. Sightings ofthe Northern Lights may be
possible through the weekend andinto next week, I would just
like to point out that HAARP waslit up may 8 to May 10. So that
may have contributed to some ofthe low latitudes northern

(42:17):
lights that we're seeing second,I'd like to say I think a lot of
these pictures were enhanceddigitally. And we're Jack Jack's
up and call it yes I do.

Adam Curry (42:27):
Particularly the ones in hill country because I
was here I was looking at it andI saw pictures from people that
did not represent what I saw 30miles up the road.

John C Dvorak (42:37):
Yeah, that's what I was gonna interrupt you for.
Is Mimi noticed this? Becauseshe was in Washington at the
time and so she actually couldgo outside and see both the red
and the green but when looked atthrough her camera phone Yes, it
was Jack jacked up because thethese these sensors on a on a

(43:01):
camera or phone we had SanFrancisco some shots of the
Golden Gate Bridge showing it ii can look at my front window.
It the same thing. Nice onnothing. If I would go and get I
should have I got one of my

Adam Curry (43:19):
if I was gotten a camera cataract issue, so I
mean, let's

John C Dvorak (43:22):
let's do any cataract I have both. Both
clean, I have better their fix.I get more light through these
lenses I have in my eyeballs andthen you do Yeah, well. Yes,
true. So, but the point is, isthat if I had used a sensor and
just left it open for a while Iwould there would have been

(43:42):
something there. So that's whatyou're

Adam Curry (43:44):
what I'm saying is that the sky the photos are
better than what us? Yes, thecamera, the particularly
iPhones, they are enhancingthings, which really is it's an
interesting aspect of what we'rewitnessing today. With
photography, because the theimages you see are better than

(44:05):
the reality. They're morecolorful, they're more they're
more rounded. They're fuzzy. Imean, it's fake. It's fake. Our
whole life online is fake. Fakefake.

John C Dvorak (44:19):
All right, we're talking about fake. Let's go to
NPRs report on this. Thestrongest

Unknown (44:24):
solar storm and over 20 years is underway right now the
way the sun is sending churchparticles into the Earth's
atmosphere that can createbeautiful Aurorus it can also
disrupt the power grid here onearth didn't storm has reached
level G five on the NationalOceanic and Atmospheric
Administration scale and that'sthe highest level possible.

(44:47):
Astrophysicist Regina Barbourhost of NPR Science Podcast
shortwave joins us now Regina, thanks for being with us. Thank
you. I'm excited.

Adam Curry (44:56):
Well, I guess Is she a ham operator? Tell me tell me
she's a ham tell homie, she's aham shortwave.

John C Dvorak (45:02):
That's the name of her podcast.

Unknown (45:04):
I am doing.

John C Dvorak (45:06):
She's a ham operator. She had that name for
a podcast. I don't know.

Unknown (45:10):
Okay, thank you. I'm excited.
I guess I am too old. I
haven't seen it yet.
What have I missed? Yeah,
me neither. I was a little toosouth. But there's the solar
storm and it arrived last night. And it gave a lot of people a
pretty good show. I've beenseeing images popping up on
social media of people in Europeand London, Spain, even images

(45:33):
from like Florida, even as Southas Alabama that saw these
northern lights. My sister wassending me images from
Washington State, and they're,they're gorgeous. I'm really
sad.
What's going on on the surfaceof the sun. So basically,
this is happening because thesun's magnetic field, it has a
magnetic field like Earth, butit goes through these like 11

(45:55):
year cycles. And it'sapproaching its solar maximum,
like right now. It'll approachthe maximum in 2025. And what
NOAA saw, which is the NationalOceanic Atmospheric
Administration, they saw thatthere were these massive
sunspots, there was a group ofthem like a cluster of them, and
they were 17 times the diameterof Earth. And the sunspots there

(46:19):
are these cooler parts on theSun surface, they're related to
its magnetic field gettingtangled up. But what happens
with the sun's magnetic field, that tangling can unwind and
eject stuff, suns stuff towardsus, those are called coronal
mass ejections, and they kind oflook like these huge loop. Wow,

Adam Curry (46:37):
anyone anyone could have given this report. Proper
thanks, NPR.

John C Dvorak (46:44):
So that the whole thing can go

Adam Curry (46:46):
into the whole thing that yes,

John C Dvorak (46:48):
they bring in an expert who says the exact same
thing but with a black female, kind of a ghetto accent. So they
can make sure that we know thatwe are diverse,

Unknown (47:00):
okay. And here's Helio physicist India, Jackson, he
knows loops are full of plasmathat can rain down back on to
the sun and are typicallyassociated with magnetic field.
And then those field lines, theyget twisted up and knotted up
and then they break they pop.And then it spits out all of

(47:21):
those high energy particles thathurtled towards the Earth. And
we have to prepare for thosethings to come. And
she says, sometimes theseobjections are accompanied by
like bright flares of light onthe Sun's surface. And that's
what Noah saw on Wednesday, inaddition to those sunspots, and
that kicked off this severegeomagnetic storm, and as of
now, no thinks they're like, several of these coronal mass

(47:44):
ejections that came towardsEarth,
Virgina, that doesn't sound verycomforting. There could be some
side effects, right? Yeah,
so basically, these chunks ofsun coming at us can disrupt the
Earth's magnetic field and itcan cause some problems and it
creates electricity along verylong power lines, it can cause

(48:06):
this extra electricity to happenin power grids and that can kind
of mess them up. So here'sJackson again. Now when
it comes to the power grids, theprimary concern is the
Geomagnetically induced currentsthat can cause overload circuits
and that can lead to blackouts.Okay,

Adam Curry (48:24):
so none of this happened there were no blackouts
even even I was monitoringStarlink which I have as a
backup didn't go down

Unknown (48:36):
this sums

John C Dvorak (48:38):
up with this well you know that was bringing me to
my point and it was never askedeven if the anybody on that show
that you heard the multi diverseshow. This was a he said this
guy. This was a G five thehighest level the question is

(49:01):
and it should have been askedwhy didn't it blow up something
as high as love this Do we havebeen threatened with this
forever? Oh, you know what'sgonna happen a big thing is
gonna if it's aimed right at us,and he hits us a big giant, you
know, jeweler, you were gonnaknock out that power. You
weren't we need we need tomodernize our grid. You

Adam Curry (49:24):
were even alluding to this a little bit on
Thursday. Show it like oh, thisreport is important. Okay, so
first of all, what this isobvious skating is the obvious
certainly here in Texas. It isMother's Day. Normally, and I've
been here for 15 years. Mother'sDay moms are in bikinis at the

(49:49):
pool. It's 65 degrees. We are atthe solar maximum eight came
early. This the weather isgetting cooler, and please He's
just look at the pretty colors. It's

Unknown (50:02):
May 2024. And the sun's about to flip its solar maximum.
This is the year the sun takescenter stage in a grand
performance that will leave youquestioning our entire
existence. Recently, our staremitted an X 4.5 class solar
flare, one of the largest flaresof this solar cycle. They have

(50:23):
the capability of impactingsatellite communications, and
even our power grids here onEarth. The sun is ramping up its
activity expected to reach asolar maximum before the end of
2024. That's a year earlier thananticipated. During this peak,
we'll see more sunspots moresolar flares, and yes more
coronal mass ejections. It's abusy time for our Sun. In 2024,

(50:45):
the sun's magnetic poles are setto flip this event, which
happens approximately every 11years can intensify solar
storms. And paint beautifulAurora is even at lower
latitudes, and

Adam Curry (50:56):
we're going into 11 years of colder weather. Please
look at the pretty colors. Please don't discuss the
temperature in Texas, please. What's it like? Where you are?
John? Is it normal? Is it kindof the same for this? Yeah,

John C Dvorak (51:11):
I would say for three days. We had a nice
summer. It was 88. Here two daysago, that's today. It's today's
cold. What?

Adam Curry (51:24):
Isn't that warm for your neck? Eight. Yeah, for?

John C Dvorak (51:27):
Well, for me, we get it we get the 80s. And then
it cools off and then it getsfreezing by July. But it's right
now because we had three hotdays of fog rolled in, it's
cold. So pretty tough. It's nota typical out here. I think that
generally speaking, it's beencooler. I think it is cooler. Of

Adam Curry (51:47):
course it's cooler. And I've been tracking this
since I was 15 years old becauseI had a CB with single sideband.
And we'd snip the diode so youcould slip into the 10 meter
band. And I'd be talking on 12Watts p p to Ohio from the
Netherlands. And that was atthat time was the height of the
solar cycle. That's where Ilearned about it. That's where I

(52:10):
learned about the ionosphere andskip

John C Dvorak (52:12):
right yeah, on a sphere bounce. Yeah. And so
these

Adam Curry (52:15):
pictures I have a feeling that it's possible that
they flipped on harp to give uspretty pictures it was on you
know this is not disputed. FromMay 8 to May 10. They flipped on
harp to give us pretty picturesof course they're very paid
pretty because of the phonysensors that make everything
look more beautiful. Your lifeis better thank you apple. And

(52:39):
so pay just pay attention tothat pretty colors and be
worried about stuff going downthe fact that nothing went down
and and coronal mass ejections. They're real them in 1972. I
want to say Hawaii, phone, phone, telephone poles were on
fire. It really did happen.

John C Dvorak (53:01):
Well, there was also some period earlier in the
1800s telegraph system of thecountry. Yeah, that was why it
seems to me that with thisreporting, you had a G five we I
liked the way they always makefive the topics with tornadoes,
storms and hurricanes. Yeah. Sothis is the same thing. It's

Adam Curry (53:21):
a G five the Mac, but nothing happens.

John C Dvorak (53:24):
But nothing got blowed up.

Adam Curry (53:25):
So who measures this? And how do they measure
that? What's the main measuringsystem? Who

John C Dvorak (53:31):
is a good question? I haven't. I don't
know. You shouldn't we shouldlook into this. I'll bet you
it's a miss. Yes. The way I seeit. Yes. Something should have
blowed up.

Adam Curry (53:39):
Yeah. Very disappointing. Very, very
disappointing. Nothing blowed upwith that was the great
Carrington event that was in the1800s. But there was another
one. I know I was in the in theearly 70s and was right over
Hawaii, and then they had firesand all kinds of stuff starting
up as well. I remember in 1990Wow. I'm gonna say 96 Maybe

(54:04):
9097. Direct TV was off the airfor three weeks because of a sun
mass coronal ejections event.

John C Dvorak (54:14):
Remember this though? I

Adam Curry (54:15):
do. I had DirecTV at the time when I was in New York.
And it was at the time I wasrunning my company which was
listed publicly on NASDAQ.That's why I remember this so
well because I couldn't watchCNBC which was important at the
time with Mark who died mark inin the in the CNN girl, what's

(54:39):
her name? Aaron Aaron Bernat.Erin Burnett. That was that was
your stuff. That was yourmorning fare and boom, it was
gone. We didn't have cable inNew York. Didn't have didn't
have all that cool stuff. Yougot it on DirecTV.

John C Dvorak (54:52):
Now, they had cable in New York, not not in
the

Adam Curry (54:56):
in our building. We didn't have that bill. I like
the expanse The cable no wedidn't have that. So yes I think
that that we've been duped andand someone needs to

John C Dvorak (55:07):
account to do so we've always we've just said
what the show is about someoneneeds

Adam Curry (55:12):
today someone needs to account for how come and
nothing went down but yet allthese pictures were pretty and
who does these measurements isthat no a bitches Noah who also
let's let's remember that Noahchanged the the the earthquake
scale on us to make everythinglook much worse. Remember it

(55:35):
went from the Richter scale tothe momentum scale?

John C Dvorak (55:40):
Well, the Richter scale was what was used when I
was a kid into just so I don'tknow what 10 years ago when they
changed it to this bull crap.Yeah, you know how much was
shaken in the report and it waslike make up some numbers

Adam Curry (55:52):
like a seven you'd all be dead like a salmon like
California broke off into theocean. But now a seven is was
what used to be a two. Well, no.Yes, yes.

John C Dvorak (56:05):
Yes. So it used to be a two you couldn't feel at
all and you can feel a seven weneed

Adam Curry (56:11):
the no agenda fear scale is what we need. So it's a
nine on the fear scale. Anyway, the only people that still care
about climate change and areprotesting are the farmers
Polish

Unknown (56:23):
farmers chanting green Terra personal of underline.
1000s are rallying against EUenvironmental regulations. They
say a hurting the Polisheconomy. Now, they calling for a
referendum.
That's why we're here becausewhat Brussels is offering us the
Green Deal is not a Green Deal. It's a red deal. The only thing
it's good for is throwing in the

(56:44):
European Union's Green Deal isan ambitious commitment to
achieve net zero carbonemissions by 2050. Making the
block the first Climate Neutralcontinent but Poland's trade
unions say it's unfair forworkers and will raise the cost
of
each government is signing theclimate agreement first. Now the
implementation of the green tono matter the political outcome.

(57:07):
After the EU Parliamentelections, polls will see
significant raises in the energyand food costs will affect the
lives of the poles.
Some protesters also condemnedUkrainian farm imports that they
say are undermining theirrevenues.

Adam Curry (57:21):
Tao is good good on the farmers in Europe, they're
still trying. They're stilltrying to wake people up to say,
hey, you know we're going away. This is not going to end well
for you with your Green Deal forthe green, new green New Deal.
And here in America, you know, they're much more sophisticated.

(57:41):
They don't say like we're gonnaget rid of farmers. No, we just
tell everybody you've got birdflu.

Unknown (57:48):
There are new fears in this country about the potential
impact of the h five and onebird flu on humans after first
jumped to dairy cows back inMarch. The virus is now spread
among dairy cattle across ninedifferent states, a Texas worker
develop mild symptoms of thedisease. We're happy to say
they've recovered. Our CHIEFMEDICAL CORRESPONDENT That's Dr.

(58:09):
John Lucas has been speakingwith the experts and joins us
now John, a lot of peoplegetting worried. So glad you're
here,
man. Good morning, Gail.

Adam Curry (58:16):
There's no evidence of a lot of people getting
worried. Public

Unknown (58:20):
health officials are closely monitoring for any
signs, h five n one is mutatinginto a form that could spread
from human to human. There's noevidence that has happened yet.
But the outbreak has raisedquestions about our ability to
do enough testing to understandhow widely the infection is
spread out. Keep in mind it'stough to coordinate efforts with

(58:41):
so many groups involvedincluding the CDC, the FDA,
dairy and cattle industry, andmore. So why the concern about a
possible jump to humans, I spoketo one of the top bird flu
experts, Dr. Jerry Parker, aveterinarian at Texas a&m. And
he told me he never envisioned ascenario where the virus would
make the jump to cows. That wassomething nobody imagined.

(59:04):
I didn't I have to admit that.And I don't think our colleagues
at the National State level didand they should have who we
fundamentally did not have aresponse plan and playbook for
how to deal with h five n onehitting dairy cattle. And I
think that's slowed ourresponse. And it's caused
confusion.

Adam Curry (59:25):
I find this first of all, every rancher who I'm in
contact with with said This isbull crap, this is a hoax. It's
not true. This this bird flew inthe dairy cows is there like no.
And how can we know here any ofthis in Wisconsin? It's only
Texas, only Texas cows boats ineight states but let's only

(59:45):
focus on Texas. Why? BecauseTexas Beef can feed the nation.
We've got to get rid of it. Andhow do we do it? We go to the
testing industrial complex.

Unknown (59:55):
One big fear is that a pig or some other animal could
become infected with both thehuman and bird flu and that
could cause a mixing of genesthat produces a new virus
capable of spreading easily fromhuman to human epidemiologist
Dr. Larry Brilliant has workedin public health since helping
to eradicate smallpox in the1970s. I asked him, Is there

(01:00:15):
enough testing going on to findout how widely bird flu has
already spread? Break

Adam Curry (01:00:20):
out your PCR? Everybody

Unknown (01:00:22):
know, it should activate every surveillance
system that would help them findout which animals are sick. They
should use wastewater, theyshould be checking water in
villages of ships and villagesof airplanes. And here's a good
reason to do it. We haveantivirals. We have treatments,
we can make a vaccine veryquickly.

Adam Curry (01:00:42):
Wastewater testing, John wastewater testing. There
it is. We've been waiting for itwastewater testing. And of
course the particularly inTexas, the ranch is like no, no,
no, you're no, no, you're notcoming on my ranch and not
testing anything. They're goingto start testing wastewater
downstream, but they have a theyhave an idea that might change

(01:01:04):
some ranchers minds, nothing

Unknown (01:01:05):
we just heard there is very comforting to me what's
being done to increase thetesting?
You know, it turns out thatpoultry farmers are reimbursed
for financial loss related tobird flu, there's an insurance
policy that's not true withcattle ranchers. And in addition
to that, there are a variety ofreasons why people working
there, various workers may notwant to get tested. So I've
heard that the USDA and the CDCare working on a plan to

(01:01:29):
incentivize more testing

Adam Curry (01:01:32):
something to pay people for testing but in there
at the beginning was really wasreally the real trick is they're
going to expand compensation forranchers. If we detect bird flu,
we're going to call your herdbut you get paid for it. That
there here's

John C Dvorak (01:01:48):
the deal. So was this question asked with these
clips or yours? Did somebody sayhey, if they have bird flu today
dropped dead like any like thetypically happens with people
they get bird flu, they die, thebirds die, what happens to the
cows or they die or they're justfloating around like Typhoid
Mary? Well,

Adam Curry (01:02:09):
the last clip is titled, How worried should we
be?

Unknown (01:02:13):
So How worried should we be right now?
Right now as it were, lastnight, the CDC told me and they
gave me the latest. Unlessyou're in close contact with
potentially infected animals, oryou're drinking unpasteurized
milk. Oh, there it is. The riskto you right now is very low.
But remember, things can change. We've learned unfortunately,

(01:02:34):
from the pandemic, I know thispandemic quickly, especially
with virus

Adam Curry (01:02:39):
right now they could change on a dime right now they

Unknown (01:02:42):
can mutate that can change we've seen that happen.
And that is why there's suchconcern among public health
officials and others and why theCDC and others are really trying
to stay on top of Yeah, because
first it was just one and nowit's moved to nine states and it
just seems like it can turn on adime but only do you get worried

John C Dvorak (01:03:01):
get them off the air these people she literally

Adam Curry (01:03:03):
said on a dime, just

Unknown (01:03:04):
one analysis here at nine states and it just seems
like it can turn on a dime butonly I'm wondering at what point
do you get worried you're sayingDon't worry, I'll tell
you I'll tell you what the worrywould be if it changes in
mutations genetic composition sothat it can spread easily from
human to human right
now there's been no evidenceit's no evidence of that.

(01:03:25):
Wild infection you haveconjunctivitis he was given
Tamiflu he recovered but that'swhat people are looking for. And
we don't want it to happenwithout us realizing you know if
you do this you know you don'tknow what's going on. You got to
do this is a what is going on?Where is it? How widely is it
spread?

Adam Curry (01:03:39):
This is this is this is a setup. And it's not for
vaccines. It's a setup to callthe herd

John C Dvorak (01:03:47):
No, I have I have a series of clips on this. Okay.
I'm Bradley combines it's alittle more elaborate. It
combines all kinds of thingsinstead of just worrying about
one, h five n one. There's newvariants of COVID is measles.
This is PBS This is COVID h fiveanyone concerned four years

Unknown (01:04:10):
after the start of the pandemic hospitalizations for
COVID are at an all time low. There are new variants Jack and
bird flu is in the headlines. It's been found in at least 36
dairy herds across nine states. But so far this year there's
only been one confirmed humancase. So how concerned should we
be about all this?

John C Dvorak (01:04:30):
Oh my god so I got cut chop this up. Yeah,

Adam Curry (01:04:33):
I'm glad you I'm glad you chopped it chopped it.
So

John C Dvorak (01:04:36):
this is this also sweetened by the way. So this is
there's the hospital. This isthat presentation style. I like
to deconstruct where you were, which was good news but
presented in a bad way.hospitalizations are down what
are we going to do arrest everThe lowest is the lowest should

(01:05:02):
we be concerned? I mean how howobvious can this be but when you
hear it the way he presents itit sounds like bad you

Adam Curry (01:05:11):
know we're missing breaking, breaking

John C Dvorak (01:05:15):
hurt so let's go to to

Unknown (01:05:19):
Caitlyn Jenner Lena writes the popular newsletter,
your local epidemiologist andshe was just named is that a
popular newsletter? I mean, seriously is your local
epidemiologist is that a popularnewsletter

John C Dvorak (01:05:30):
play from the beginning again, because it's
actually better.

Adam Curry (01:05:32):
Caitlyn Jenner Lena writes the popular newsletter,
your local epidemiologist, andshe was just named one of Time
magazine's 100 Most InfluentialPeople in health. So Caitlin,
how concerned should we be aboutbird flu? Oh, man, you gave this
to me to put in the show notes.Yes, it's in the show notes and
I did it is this is time times100 Most Influential People in

(01:05:57):
health such which includesluminaries such as Scott
O'Neill, mosquito engineer RoryCollins democratized health
data. John Leonard, geneticeditor, Dora Shomi, aka
supporting Ukraine, mostimportant person in health. This

John C Dvorak (01:06:19):
is Yes, supporting Ukraine. This is vec
mercy. He's at the top of thelist and we also have McCrone

Adam Curry (01:06:25):
he's a titan Titan Vivek Murthy. He's a Titan, a
titan

John C Dvorak (01:06:29):
Atisha we also have a manual McCrone who says
the title was a powerful messageand we have Jimmy Carter
determined health hero Yeah. Yougot Berlei like only

Adam Curry (01:06:43):
like Halle Berry a voice for menopause. Come on.
Yeah. Well, this is great. JohnFetterman. destigmatizing
idiocy, I'm sorry disability.

John C Dvorak (01:06:53):
Oh, yeah, he's important. First influencer?
Yes. So here's who's not on thelist. This is a bogus list. But
I got I just It's typical. Andwe've talked about this in the
show for years. Because I'vebeen in these meetings. You sit
down and you started listingpeople and you put it together
and both these are both by

Adam Curry (01:07:15):
the way. Oh, by the way. Hotep Peter Hotez Hotep.
Yes. Science warrior.

John C Dvorak (01:07:21):
Yeah. So we have RFK is not on the list who wrote
a book, and it seems to bepretty important because he does
a lot of lawsuits and the restof besides the brain worm. Fauci
is not on the list. No, that no,kind of a shocker. No, no works
is not on the list. But then youhave people who are true

(01:07:42):
influencers, like Peter Macola. Not on the list. No, no, no
words people like even SherryTenpenny. I would put her on the
list and the frontline dog. Howabout Burke's Berkshire? Not on
the list. But who's the bigsuperstar at not on the list?

(01:08:03):
The guy who should be on thelist, probably the most
influential of all these people.

Unknown (01:08:10):
Bill Gates.

John C Dvorak (01:08:12):
Exactly. Why isn't Bill Gates on the list?

Unknown (01:08:18):
That's a do it. That is a great question.

John C Dvorak (01:08:23):
It is a great question. I

Unknown (01:08:24):
know the answer. Okay. What's the answer?

John C Dvorak (01:08:27):
Who does Time Magazine currently owned by?

Unknown (01:08:32):
I should know this. I don't know. Who

John C Dvorak (01:08:37):
who runs Salesforce.

Adam Curry (01:08:39):
Oh, is that? Yeah. The Bennett off in Benioff?
Yeah. He hates

John C Dvorak (01:08:44):
granny off comes from there, Larry Ellison School
of Management, because he cameright out of Oracle. And the
idea there is to hate Bill

Unknown (01:08:52):
Gates. That's not a bad idea.

John C Dvorak (01:08:55):
And so they hate Bill Gates based on their
thesis. I mean, Ellison hasalways had a beef with gays. And
so Benioff won't put gates onthis list. And that's the simple
thing. AND gates is the numberone guy he's got the money the
influence, and he's talking abig game all the time. And he's
not on the list. Give me abreak. Yeah, we need but this

(01:09:20):
newsletter woman is

Adam Curry (01:09:21):
Yeah, well, she's very influential, very popular
newsletter.

John C Dvorak (01:09:25):
She's more popular than Bill Gates, okay.
To this in his side that neededto be done. Well done, sir.
Okay, let's move on. Now we getsome sunlight into the meat of
this

Unknown (01:09:38):
clip three. Yeah, you know, what's clear is that this
is continuing to spread amongcows and other animals. But the
risk to the general public isvery low. And this really means
there's nothing we can do. Otherthan don't touch dead birds or
animals. Don't drink raw milk. Can maybe even call your
congressman for better byesecurity support, oh, this is

(01:10:03):
definitely not March of 2020.And it's definitely not even
January of 2020. But of course, this situation can change and
usually without breaks, it canchange very quickly. I think
that alarm bells for the generalpublic should really start going
off if we start seeing human tohuman spread. Right now, it's

(01:10:23):
really an all hands on deckresponse for public health to
prevent another pandemic. Andstaying laser focused on
protecting the small group ofAmericans that are are at higher
risk, and that is dairy andpoultry workers right now.
So it's got a lot of people'sattentions was the report that
the FDA had found dead viralfragments in milk Milk bought at

(01:10:44):
grocery stores? That soundspretty scary. How concerned
should people be about that?
It is scary and it does soundscary. But I calmed down when I
knew that we have over 100 yearsof data on the effectiveness of
pasteurization. Also, just toconfirm that the pasteurization

(01:11:04):
was working, the FDA tried togrow active virus from these
pasteurized milk samples fromgrocery stores. And the
experiments failed which isactually a good thing because
that means these viral fragmentswere broken pieces that just
could not replicate and thuscannot harm as humans since
those studies have been done onthe milk. They've also tested

(01:11:26):
other milk products like cottagecheese and sour cream, and those
are safe as well as beef ingrocery stores is also safe to
consume. I

Adam Curry (01:11:35):
will say that I'm not always a fan of your
sweetening these are spot onthis is well done this is right
in the sweet spot where

John C Dvorak (01:11:44):
you'll fight you'll be annoyed later this is
an attack on raw milk in the rawmilk industry is no doubt about
it. They've been trying to dothis I was talking to me about
this we have a raw milk dairy upnorth and we drink it constantly
delicious, by the way. But theproblem is with raw milk the you
have to keep the batchesseparate you have to do this the

(01:12:06):
cows can eat chicken shit theyit's just a whole process. The
dairies are super clean, theyhave to be maintained it's hard
to do and the inspections to doif you want to if you were a
government inspector having toinspect a raw milk there it's a
pain in the ass. It's too muchwork can

Adam Curry (01:12:25):
I just say it is also an attack on raw milk this
whole thing is not only toattack raw milk I don't believe
that I think it's I

John C Dvorak (01:12:35):
you might be right and could I can tell you
this day raw milk is a is abugaboo they hate it. They don't
like to have it in the market. They don't want it you know, why

Adam Curry (01:12:44):
don't you you know why? It'll help you live a
healthy life. Die you slave.

John C Dvorak (01:12:52):
It's more along my it's more along the lines of
my shit in meat thinking, whichis the the reason we don't use
gamma radiation in this countryto sterilize products, which is
the way to go. It's even formilk, it'd be better than
pasteurization, which cooks themilk, gamma radiation. And

(01:13:14):
everyone kind of subtly knowsthis. But gamma and aerosol,
it's radiation. No, it's gammaradiation, which is a
sterilization mechanism is usedin Europe a lot. And you could
take and run all your beefthrough it just a big machine
and just go right through it.And it would take care of E.
coli, which is a deadlybacteria. If it's the bad E.

(01:13:35):
coli that gets in your system,if you eat it because of an
undercooked meat. You wouldn'thave to worry about it ever. But
everybody knows what wouldhappen. dog shit would be in the
meat and they just sterilizeeverything and it's fine and
dandy. You're not going to getsick from it, but you'd be eaten
crap. And that's what wouldhappen. And this is the same
thing with these super clean rawmilk dairies. We don't you know,

(01:13:59):
it's like, oh, God,

Adam Curry (01:14:01):
I gotta I got news for you. There's no money in
this. We've debased the moneysince 1971. So your food has to
be debased as well. Everythinghas to be chemicals and saw
dust. That's where the glowingsaw does. Yes, yes.
petrochemicals and saw dust isnow food is like no, get rid of

(01:14:25):
food.

Unknown (01:14:26):
Yep. For I
think the bottom line here isjust do not drink unpasteurized
milk. It can make you very sick, especially at this time.

John C Dvorak (01:14:36):
All right. Thanks, lady. Yeah, it can make
you very sick, especially atthis time,

Unknown (01:14:40):
at this hour. At this hour, so don't drink at this
hour.

John C Dvorak (01:14:47):
This woman is asking should be stronger. Five.

Unknown (01:14:52):
So that's bird flu. Let's talk about COVID Tell us
about these new variants thathave the intriguing nickname
flirt. Yeah.
So we No is that COVID continuesto mutate Right? Right. Right?
Right, this viruses do, right? The latest ingredients greatest
variant is Omicron. But withvery small changes, right? These
flirt variants have only twoadditional mutations on the

(01:15:14):
spike protein. This is comparedto about 50 changes that we saw
with the AMO, huge Omicron waveback in 2021. So just with two
small changes, we know that thisisn't going to cause a tsunami
of infection. It's just notdifferent enough than previous
ones. The question is whether itwill cause a wave a wavelet, or

(01:15:35):
nothing. And unfortunately, timewill just tell. So
only two mutations, does thatmean that the if you got a
booster last fall, or since lastfall, that would take care of it
that those variants would not beable to get around that booster.
If you're up to date on yourCOVID-19 vaccine, which for the
majority of people means a fallvaccine, some are eligible for a

(01:15:58):
spring vaccine. ILLEGIBLE. Andyeah, it's not a perfect match,
but it will certainly helpagainst severe disease and
death. Because this has mutateda little that may mean we will
see a little more infectionsthen before, but you are a very
well protected against severedisease. If you're up to date.
There's the COVID vaccine gonnacontinue to be reformulated and

(01:16:22):
keep up with these variants andsort of almost like the annual
flu, they have to figure outwhat the dominant strain is
gonna be. Yeah,
that's exactly right. It lookslike we're moving towards a flu
model. Right? Right. Right.Right. So we're COVID-19
vaccines will be updated everyyear to match as best as
possible. The circulatingstrain.

John C Dvorak (01:16:44):
Study Finds This is on believable on

Adam Curry (01:16:47):
study finds, quote, significant increase in cancer
mortality after a third COVIDdose. But you said, but you sent
me that's a study that just cameout, but you sent me another
link, which I think peopleshould also read in the show
notes under the big pharmaheading. How much damage have
vaccines done to society, whichis i which is substack. But a

(01:17:11):
very good article about vaccinesin general. They've just always,
yeah, there's just always been acrap product. They kill people,
all of them. Yeah. Am Iparaphrasing that correctly?

John C Dvorak (01:17:24):
You're not too far off. Yeah.

Adam Curry (01:17:27):
But even the smallpox vaccine, of course
started smallpox epidemics. The

John C Dvorak (01:17:33):
Yeah, we say yeah, there's something fishy
about some of this stuff I haveto say. All right. So I think
we're on to our last clip asthey go on and on about the
vaccines and as you get moreshots,

Adam Curry (01:17:44):
I'm very tired now. I'm fatiguing. Well,

John C Dvorak (01:17:47):
okay with good because we have a change of
subject go measles.

Unknown (01:17:50):
There was a global surgery measles. There was some
talk earlier that the UnitedStates was worried about what
was going to happen here. Whatis happening with measles here
in the United States? Yeah,
I mean, measles is coming in hotthis year coming in. And while
the US has a small number ofcases, right, 132 cases across

(01:18:13):
21 states, it's still more thandouble than we had last year. I
think the biggest problem withthis is we're giving measles
opportunity to spark more rightwith more embers because fewer
people are getting vaccinated. And the challenge and problem
with this is it just increasesthe probability of a spark
finding a really largeunvaccinated pocket and

(01:18:36):
spreading like wildfire. So wewere really wanting to reduce
these embers as much as possibleright now.

Adam Curry (01:18:49):
Ladies and gentlemen, the comedic stylings
from the one and only Mr. JohnC. DeVore. I am very pleased
with that and I gotta tell you,I'm just going to now from this
day on going to become a devoutanti Vaxxer I'm not going to
waffle and say I won't sayvaccines now. I think they're
all dumb. They're all probablybad you know, kept your kid out

(01:19:10):
of school don't put your kid inthe schools let all those Vax
kids sit in there. I'm justagainst it now. This makes no
and I seriously I see nobenefit. There are many people
in hill country with collegedegrees. Who are doing like now
not vaccinating my kid. That'sokay. Thanks. They get nothing.
Not not not even the like thebasics. Nothing.

Unknown (01:19:34):
You know what? Kids seem pretty smart. Run around
like normal kids. Having a goodtime.

John C Dvorak (01:19:42):
They're gonna get measles.

Adam Curry (01:19:44):
They should they should get measles. Wow.

John C Dvorak (01:19:48):
I found that whole piece to be just a
promotion from all for everywhich way, anti pest anti raw
milk pro docsvault Next Vax, youknow, and you need another one,
you might be elegibles and says, allege a spring vaccine

Adam Curry (01:20:06):
spring vaccine, everybody who would go read that
article, that article in theshow notes about the history of
vaccinations. Wow.

John C Dvorak (01:20:16):
It goes back to the 1700s. Curiously, yes, I
didn't realize that the smallpoxvaccine was in the late 1700s.
That's how it was luring

Adam Curry (01:20:24):
Catherine the Great Catherine the Great was credited
with a lot of that. But ofcourse, the more sane people
will say, you know, we gotindoor plumbing, and we got, you
know, hygiene and we figured outwe should bathe and, and that
seemed to help a lot.

John C Dvorak (01:20:42):
There used to be a period in the Middle Ages
where people would never theythought it was the devil's work
to bathe.

Adam Curry (01:20:49):
You know, when when? Really?

John C Dvorak (01:20:52):
Yeah, when was it there's a there's a, there's
stories about the bathingsituation. In the footnotes of
Toynbee is a study of history. There's a bunch of stories about
the craziness that went onduring these eras. When

Adam Curry (01:21:05):
I was reading this, this article, it dawned on me
that when we moved to theNetherlands, there was a whole
bunch of vaccinations the familyhad to take back in the day,
that was the thing you know, especially and I think a lot of
it was just, oh, you're going toEurope all you better get all
these vaccinations going toEurope die. And you know, when

(01:21:28):
my Tourette started when I wasseven years old when we were in
the Netherlands, after all thosevaccinations, I think I'm
vaccine injured.

John C Dvorak (01:21:36):
I didn't have to know that's possible.

Adam Curry (01:21:38):
I think it's that's what hit me when I'm reading
this. Like, hey, wait a minute. That's

John C Dvorak (01:21:43):
interesting. That's an interesting insight
that is especially you never hadit before seven No,

Adam Curry (01:21:50):
no. And, and they and they went to all kinds of
tests and sensors and brains. Myparents were very concerned.
What is wrong with that kid? Andthat was bad back then. I mean,
I was like, a jerk in my headall over the place.

John C Dvorak (01:22:05):
Yeah, like remember the girls in the early
HPV vaccines? And all theseissues?

Adam Curry (01:22:11):
Yep. Yep. But I think I was permanently Vax
injured.

John C Dvorak (01:22:16):
I think you might be right yes, I

Adam Curry (01:22:17):
want compensation. Well,

John C Dvorak (01:22:19):
who you're gonna get it from Good luck

Unknown (01:22:24):
thanks I'm a little depressed about that. We're

John C Dvorak (01:22:27):
sorry to give you 10 grand say

Adam Curry (01:22:30):
in the morning to you the man who put the seat in
the CME ladies gentlemen sayhello to my friend on the other
end the one and only Mr. Insertsound effect here John.

John C Dvorak (01:22:46):
See boots in the ground feet in the air subs in
the water and all the games ornights out there in the morning

Adam Curry (01:22:57):
okay, we've counted him couple, I think a couple of
got away. So the best count Ihave is 1943 which is a tad
lower about 23 lower than lastSunday. But we also tad later so
1943 These trolls by the way arehanging out in the troll room,
which is a place you can it'sit's where everybody knows your

(01:23:19):
name. You can go to the trollroom at troll room.io You can
log in there and listen to thelive stream which is no agenda
stream no agenda stream.com Oryou can do both with a modern
podcast app which will alsoalert you when we go live on
Thursdays and Sundays. And alsomany other shows. Because the
trolls that troll room, noagenda stream. It's it's 24/7

(01:23:42):
and there's tons of live stuffthat happens so you can get an
alert like when that Larry youknow what's what's it
unrelenting with Gene and Darrenor what's the rage planet rage?
I mean, these are all shows thatyou can subscribe to and then
even if you if you're like I'min a meeting I can't listen to

(01:24:02):
them live. The modern podcastapps will alert you within 90
seconds of publishing thepodcast so podcast apps.com And
I would like to lose it take forApple to do that. Oh of anywhere
between 20 minutes and threehours. Wow. Yeah. And and they
spend an enormous amount ofresources polling all of these
feeds. I mean, it's very ungreenof them. Very young even Yeah,

(01:24:26):
being the new

John C Dvorak (01:24:27):
I like ungreen really using it

Adam Curry (01:24:32):
is very ungreen of them bringing it on green. Now
we don't have ads on this showwhich is obvious to you which is
why I just declared myself ananti Vaxxer that would have been
a non starter for any done done. There'll be no advertising ever
again on the show. That's right.I like it when you do that just

(01:24:53):
That's right. That's right curryjust That's

John C Dvorak (01:24:55):
right curry. So we are right on the money curry
you're nailing it. So we

Adam Curry (01:24:59):
ended up We determined we coined a concept a
long time ago. And it wasinteresting. You know, I often
go on several top brand topnotch podcasts like the Megyn
Kelly podcast. And with suchluminaries I'm not the only
celebrity and star goes on apodcast like that Roseanne Barr

(01:25:20):
was on the Megyn Kelly show. Andshe was talking about money and
the world and Roseanne is alittle a little out there.
Sometimes. I want to play thisone minute clip just to get us
into the mood.

Unknown (01:25:31):
There isn't like just a few families that should own
everything in the world. Thereisn't. That's true. And again,
and they're so stupid, like yousaid, luckily, they are stupid,
because arrogance alwaysaccompanies ignorance. That's
what Torah says. They're alwaysthe same two sides of the same
coin. And they undo each other, let's hope and so their

(01:25:55):
arrogance is such that they'veactually made with their greed
and their whatever they do intheir bubbles, and they're
bursting bubbles and making morebubbles in their scams and
fraud. They've actually mademoney obsolete and it's
worthless. Now, that's justthat's my optimistic sign of the
future because that is the dreamof the end of debt slavery

(01:26:19):
that's leaving Egypt. That isthe dream of humanity. It's so
great and it's crumbling. Andthey're being exposed, and it
will be replaced with a bettersystem that works for human
beings, all human beings, andit'll come from us and our
intelligence, because we havethe will and the means and all

(01:26:42):
the technology to do that.Without money but with something
else, value for value.

John C Dvorak (01:26:51):
is real. It's like a shaggy dog story. Shaggy

Adam Curry (01:26:55):
Dog clip. Yes, we have we have seeped into
Roseanne Barr's brain, shedidn't get that just out of the
ether. Because this concept hasgone broad has gone deep.
Everyone's talking about it. Itis the only way forward for me.
Yes, everyone was talking aboutI was talking about value for
value. You know that you say oh,you're begging for money or I'm

(01:27:18):
just gonna tip you know, nowit's now it's it's value for
value. People are onto it.They're getting it. We're
pioneers John, we're leaving. We're leading a revolution. Now
we have many ways that you cancontribute to this program. One
is by helping us lower costs forthings we could never afford
anyway, such as new art. There'sno way we could afford artists

(01:27:40):
to be doing spec art for everysingle episode. No, but that's
why we have many of the greatDutch masters at work. And and
from other countries, but theDutch masters they really seem
to be yet to be nailing it. Andonce again, one of our artists
gave us the artwork for Episode1658, the title that was saving,

(01:28:04):
and the great Dutch Grandmasternetworks gave us the artwork for
that. This was the game debtjubilee, very controversial,
this choice, because I didn'tlike it. And John was like, Who
would want it but we both have abone to pick with Darren

(01:28:27):
O'Neill, also known as pre showguy, because he had the right
idea. We were talking to

John C Dvorak (01:28:34):
us. Yes, Darren had the winning art piece. Both
of us thought right away. ButDarren, you screwed it up. He
screwed

Adam Curry (01:28:42):
T choke. He had joked he had a car with a
generator on the back. It waswell done. But it wasn't a
Tesla. It didn't even look likean electric vehicle. It look
more like a Porsche orsomething. It was the you can

John C Dvorak (01:28:56):
call it a Porsche. It looks like a kind of
a toy is silica and that issilica. But it was not a test.
There is a Toyota that lookskinda like it

Adam Curry (01:29:06):
wasn't a Tesla. It was so everything was perfect
about this piece of art. But heblew it he choked. I don't

John C Dvorak (01:29:12):
understand what what he was thinking. Yes.

Adam Curry (01:29:16):
I mean, he's he's not a Dutch master. That's
probably the issue. Well,

John C Dvorak (01:29:20):
I mean, he's he's one of the leading artists that
historically Yeah, for gettingstuff in because he's always
comes up with good ideas beingkicked out of the ground, but
this was a botch. I

Adam Curry (01:29:30):
mean, it was yes, a bunch. That's what Now I
personally like to Bill Walsh'sbrain worm which was a hilarious
hilarious brain worm and youmade a point you said no. I
don't want creepy art ever.

John C Dvorak (01:29:46):
Why do I have said that? None of that voice
that's one of your othercharacters. I think that was
very close with the thing Idon't understand why you liked
this piece because the undercrackpot and buzzkill is TOS
Adam curry and John C. Dvorakchoose Not when is your main
complaint when you

Adam Curry (01:30:02):
said that? I said you're right. I said you're
right. You're right, you'reright. And then we just looked
and just I don't want anythingwith devils, which I kind of
agree with then Allah we had alot of Eurovision with devil, no
brains. I could have gone withthe brain worm, but I accepted
the sugar kills Africans, we sawsome problems with that.

John C Dvorak (01:30:27):
As Africans was probably our was up for
discussion, that's for

Adam Curry (01:30:32):
sure. We're like, we really can't do this. Can we?
No,

John C Dvorak (01:30:36):
no, we decided against default so networks
piece is what you're trying tosay as far as the for Batum.
Piece by piece. You kind ofagreed to it in with
protestation. Yes. And I wouldsay and because and then you
said, dead Jubilee. Nobody evenknows what that means. Even
though you're the one thatdiscussed it on the show.

Adam Curry (01:30:58):
Yeah, but when you look see, you have to
understand. I believe the artneeds to entice people to go
listen to the to the show. I seethis I'd be like

Unknown (01:31:12):
I don't want to listen to that show.

John C Dvorak (01:31:14):
That's just we'll use your so you think the
smiling worm Yes. It's going toentice people to listen to the
show. In different cases, our

Adam Curry (01:31:23):
names were bigger than I would have pushed for
that very hard. I would havecalled a I would have called an
audible. The end comics yourblog or you can stop putting the
black baby eating sugar. In Me.This is the fourth time he's
brought this back. It's notgoing to get chosen. The N N and

(01:31:44):
anyone doing Trump? AI is StormyDaniels. No, no, please, please,
people. I'm worried I'm worriedabout today's art already. I'm
worried about just nice Mother'sDay art. But

John C Dvorak (01:31:59):
yeah, we knew today's art will be picked.
Yeah, because there's a Mother'sDay Special. Yes, we'd love to
have a Mother's Day themes.Yeah. So come up with something
creative. That has something todo with Mother's Day, we just
put Mother's Day in a nice potof flowers, what

Unknown (01:32:11):
a concept.

Adam Curry (01:32:14):
So that's our talent and time portion of the three
T's time, talent and treasure. And now we would like to thank
what we'd like to thank ourexecutive and Associate
Executive producers. These arethe people who we think at the
beginning of the show doesn'tmean that they're extra special.
This is just the way Hollywoodoperates. You get an executive
producer or Associate ExecutiveProducer title, that credit

(01:32:35):
risks and they're good for yourlifetime. Once you start off,
John with Sir Kevin deals, soI'll give you a solid. I'll read
the long one. That's next.

John C Dvorak (01:32:45):
Yes, in the bed, Jay made mention that the long
run needs to be read in itsentirety. I know. Sir Kevin deal
starts us off at theHuntersville North Carolina to
fiver and $12. And we haven'theard from him for a while. No,

this is 339 11. And he startsoff with a Mother's Day
remembrance. He says this is aMother's Day donation the amount
of 33 333 Why she says 33911 inhonor of my own mother Sarah,

(01:33:44):
who died last year. I'm sorry ifthis is long, but I have not
typed publicly about her deathuntil now. And so we will share
this since this is a big bigthing for you. One year ago was
last time we did anything nice. That's him and his mom and
things were normal. I drove herto Chicago so she get a new
passport for a cruise a coupleof weeks later she came back
from the cruise not feeling wellspent that summer in and out of

(01:34:07):
hospital and died in September. On the drive. I was able to play
your show to her for the firsttime. We didn't really talk
about your show but she wasteaching me media deconstruction
before you were. I grew up in ahousehold where we all knew
industrial news media lied allthe time. She spent over 20
years with State and NationalPTA and leadership and
convention planning roles. I'mgoing to include a photo of her

(01:34:30):
and Rod Blagojevich for proofthat she was a mover and a
shaker. After she retired fromPTA we started the world's only
synthesizer convention together. It's you. I think you had a cool
mom brother. It was called knobcon now in its 12th year it was
her event and I intend onkeeping it going until I follow
her into whatever comes next.Hey Sir Mark Hall, knob calm.

(01:34:54):
He's a synthesizer nut. I loveit. She would want me to mention
this. She had a very and cancerfive years ago and went through
surgery and chemotherapy and wasin total remission until after
the fake vaccine and her numberswent back up afterwards she
blamed this on the fake vaccine. And while yes, she did have
cancer, she developed a seriesof blood clots towards the end

(01:35:15):
and that actually killed her.And what actually killed her out
was a blood clot while she wasrecovering from a second cancer
surgery which had actually gonepretty well. We will never know
if that clot was caused by thecancer or the fake vaccine but I
would like to know what life forher would have been like without
the scam demic you sense a themeon the show any no agenda and

get a summary it's a someresources we can get. Do we
don't have nothing else afterthat.

Adam Curry (01:49:07):
It would be perfect. Now that's we're never gonna get
away with that. Is this your PBSreport?

John C Dvorak (01:49:13):
Yeah, in

Unknown (01:49:14):
Gaza. 10s of 1000s of Palestinians are being forced to
flee again. The Israeli militaryhas issued new and expanded
evacuation orders amid signsthat it's preparing to move into
densely populated central Raffa.About a third of Rafah has been
evacuated. That's more than300,000 people at all. Many of
them have already been movingseveral times in the past seven

(01:49:35):
months as they fled Israeli airbombardment. This time they're
being told to go to what theIsraeli military is calling an
expanded humanitarian area alongthe Mediterranean coast north of
Rapa. Salud, manages, weavers
received a call from the army arecorded call asking us to
evacuate the area we are in.We're preparing to go to awasi

(01:49:57):
because they said it is ahumanitarian area but We do not
know whether to go. I don'tthink it will be a safe area.
Because the Israeli army doesnot have a safe area in Gaza.
They target everything.
And central Gaza overnightairstrikes killed at least 19
people 16 of them women andchildren. The UN warns that a
full scale Rafa invasion wouldfurther cripple humanitarian

(01:50:20):
deliveries of much needed food, water and fuel. Yeah, there's a
couple other things that that weneed to discuss. One of them is

Adam Curry (01:50:29):
this report that we got on Thursday that Netanyahu
specifically calling outNetanyahu had ignored the
ceasefire agreement thatsupposedly Hamas had agreed to.
And luckily, one of our trollssaid, Oh, no, no, no, that's

(01:50:51):
fake. And this is,unfortunately, this is always
the issue is people like to poston social media that we suck,
and we and we no good you don'tdeconstruct, right. They forget
that you're a producer. And youneed to send us stuff. So we can
do something with it. Justlistening and saying you suck is
not helpful. You suck. I mean,we're just dudes who are just

(01:51:13):
trying to pull everythingtogether. We do our best. And so
I finally got a little moredetail on what actually happened
now take into account this isfrom The Times of Israel
podcast. But it sounds likeprobably this is what happened.

Unknown (01:51:30):
I must have not come back with some kind of Yes. Or
two paragraphs saying, Yeah, wecan live with this to the
greenlit by Israel proposal thatwas conveyed to them at the end
of last month. That's what theysaid they did. They said we have
accepted the ceasefire proposal, but they didn't they issued a
fairly lengthy document of theirown. This offer is a duplicitous

(01:51:50):
and deceitful offer that willnot bring home, most of the
hostages, most of the hostages. The way that Hamas has built
this will be retained withHamas, having made all the gains
that it wants to make all theconceivable gains. And what do I
mean by that, I'll just give onevery small example. They say
that the first the first of all, they state that not all the 33

(01:52:12):
hostages to be released in thefirst phase will be alive, then
state that the first to bereleased will be women,
including female soldiers, right, in return for women and
female soldiers. And notice

Adam Curry (01:52:23):
what they said that most of them probably are not
alive, which is what we've beensaying all along, they

Unknown (01:52:28):
are asking for essentially 50 Palestinian
security prisoners to bereleased for each of the female
soldiers of whom there arebelieved to be five. And of
those 50 Security prisoners. They want 30 of them to be
people serving life terms, theyremoved Israel's demand for a
veto on which security prisonersare released, they say they will

(01:52:49):
choose the prisoners. And thenwhen you start to look at that,
and by the way, they're onlygoing to release the first set
of prisoners on the third day,and the next three prisoners
then and the next three a weeklater. Basically, in those first
two releases, they can securethe freedom of 150. It's more
complicated than that, but atleast 150 Palestinian security

(01:53:10):
prisoners doing life terms. Andthere's

Adam Curry (01:53:13):
another two minutes of explanation, which I'm not
going to bore everybody with itwill be a clip in the show
notes, we always publish all ofour clips, so you can take a
listen to that. It just goes onand on and on. So it doesn't
seem like it was exactly asportrayed in some of the media.
Now let's go to the UnitedNations and all of the media.
Let's go to the United Nations, where we are working very hard

(01:53:36):
on a two state solution, whichis pretty much what everybody
wants, except for Israel. Thisis certainly

Unknown (01:53:42):
a boost for the Palestinians because it shows a
flood of international supportfor them. The resolution
essentially upgrades theirrights here at the United
Nations, but it doesn't givethem full UN membership. The US
vetoed that initiative lastmonth in the UN Security
Council. This General AssemblyResolution determines a state of
Palestine Palestine is qualifiedfor membership. And it gives the

(01:54:04):
Palestinians the right topropose agenda items to speak in
debates and to speak on allissues not just those related to
the Palestinians it also itgives them the right to be
elected as officers in theassemblies main committees. It
does not however, give them theright to vote here at the UN. So
essentially, it's symbolic.Well, Palestinian ambassador
Riyad Mansour was was moved totears as he spoke on the podium

(01:54:27):
in the General Assembly Hall onFriday. He said that there had
never been a more significantvote, the United States Israel's
ally here at the UN. It was oneof the nine countries that voted
against this resolution. The USargues that pushing for
Palestinian membership here atthe United Nations is not
helpful because a two statesolution should be brokered
through negotiations directnegotiations between the

(01:54:49):
Israelis and the Palestinians. Now Israel's ambassador was
furious about this vote, heaccused the UN of inviting
modern day Nazis into its foldand said that Churchill would be
turning in his grave. TheIsraelis are well known for
using props here at the UN whenthey speak and Gilad are brought
along a mini wireless shredderto shred the UN charter to show

(01:55:11):
his opposition.

Adam Curry (01:55:13):
Did you see why? He brought out a paper shredder and
like oh, and put it through andput the resolution through the
paper shredder, it's alltheatrics. No one cares. I mean,
even these kids on campus, Idon't think they care. They just
want the right kid fee. Give memy scarf. And all they talk
about is divest. Divest, divest, divest, I'm not even talking

(01:55:35):
about dead people anymore. It'sall so cynical

John C Dvorak (01:55:39):
debts actually, it's a good point. All it's all
it is all you know talking aboutdead people at all. Talking
about as the best the bestovernight,

Unknown (01:55:48):
George Washington University in Washington DC
going into so called emergencymode, restricting access to
certain areas of campus. As antiwar protesters marched through
the streets stopping outside theschool president's office and
forming a line across frompolice while demanding the

(01:56:08):
school divest from companieswith ties to Israel. 33 people
were arrested earlier thisPalestinian encampment at the
university. Police say theydeployed pepper spray after
officers were assaulted. Theschool says only six of those
arrested are current studentswant

Adam Curry (01:56:27):
to ask you a question. And I mean, I
definitely wasn't old enough. You might have been during the
Vietnam protests on collegecampuses in the 60s. Were they
talking about the financial likedon't invest in war companies or
bomb companies? Or they theywere holding up pictures of dead
Vietnamese? Were they not? Imean, what what was what were

(01:56:48):
they? Well, there

John C Dvorak (01:56:49):
wasn't even that most of the action was in the in
the in the form of teachingswhich resulted in in teach just
simple protests to end the war. There was two messages stop the
draft and end the war. Yeah, itwas. Yes.

Adam Curry (01:57:04):
So they did have they didn't have their own their
own interests at heart stop thedraft. People don't want to go
to die. You know, there'll besomebody's kids over there. Send
some kids over there to die. Geta draft going? Yeah, ship them.
Yeah, blue hair. That's

John C Dvorak (01:57:23):
the you know, the every so often the Democrat
party tries to tries to make itseem as though they want to re
Institute the draft. Only theDemocrats? Yes. And the reason
they they want that is becausethey know it will create an
uproar with the students whowill always vent their anger at

(01:57:43):
the Republicans. This verystrange logic, believe me, it's

Adam Curry (01:57:49):
them. And then Bibi Netanyahu who doesn't know
appeared on Dr. Phil. Meanwhile,

Unknown (01:57:55):
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains
defiant after President Bidenthreatened to withhold more US
weapons from Israel, Netanyahusaying if we have to stand
alone, we will stand alone.Biden already halting a shipment
of 3500 bombs, saying the USwill not provide Israel with
weapons to attack Rafa thesouthern Gaza City where more

(01:58:17):
than a million Palestinians havesought refuge. Israeli forces
already launching what theydescribed as limited operations
there then Yahoo providingdetails on that operation. In an
interview overnight with Dr.Phil,
we've destroyed about 20battalions of the Hamas is 24
terrorist battalions, we haveanother four to go there in

(01:58:39):
Rafah. And that's why we want togo into alpha
and Netanyahu had this to sayabout the students protesting on
college campuses in the US.First
of all, you have a lot ofignorant people that I'm sorry
to say. whose sense of historyat best goes back to breakfast
not even that, okay, they don'thave the faintest clue what

(01:59:01):
Hamas is.

Adam Curry (01:59:03):
What's interesting is that none of the other Arab
countries except for the IranianRevolutionary what are they
called? Islamic or is known asIslamic State, Islamic Republic
of Iran, which is the Mulas notthe people of Iran who could

(01:59:23):
easily be Americans. Jordan,Syria none of those countries
are are like well, Israel, nodeath to them, none of them.
They all want this done and theyall don't want the Palestinians.
It's very, uh, Jordan is like, just getting ready to make sure
no one comes into Jordan. Theyalready have 700,000 Iraqis

(01:59:47):
because you know, once they comein that's it can't get rid of
them. And Egypt they got thecheck. I don't know if it
cleared but they got their 7billion euros so they better let
people in soon. Well,

John C Dvorak (01:59:59):
they're gonna make concentration camps outside
of town is going

Adam Curry (02:00:02):
to do it the holiday camps. John, come on, Paul. I'm

John C Dvorak (02:00:05):
sorry. What are you thinking? holiday camp?
final

Adam Curry (02:00:08):
clip here. Senator Lindsey Graham, you know, he's
still, buddy, are you still onthis comparison?

Unknown (02:00:13):
And I guess the question is, why does Israel
need the most massive bombs thatcan potentially an entire block?
In order to wage this war? Whycan't it be more precise?

John C Dvorak (02:00:27):
Yeah, Cherry Bomb. Listen,

Unknown (02:00:28):
you know, here's what I would say about fighting an
enemy who wants to kill you andyour family? Why did we drop two
bombs, nuclear bombs onHiroshima and Nagasaki go again.

Adam Curry (02:00:40):
So he he's doing this again. And by the way, one
of our producers sent in a noteand said, when he asked that of
General Brown and Austin, theappropriate response would have
been a senator, our job is tofollow the constitutional orders

(02:01:02):
of the Commander in Chief.Instead, they went Homina Homina
Homina Homina. Those guys don'teven report to the commander in
chief. That's why they didn'tthink of it. That's how horrible
our military industrial complexhas begun.

John C Dvorak (02:01:18):
Merely Milley said himself, he was basically
not going to listen to anythingTrump told him to do

Unknown (02:01:24):
to end the war that we couldn't afford to lose. You
don't understand apparently whatIsrael is facing. They're facing
three groups are Ron, who hasreceived $80 billion in aid.
When Trump left office, theywere exporting 300 barrels of
oil a day. Now they're 1.3 men

Adam Curry (02:01:42):
a day. So it's about oil is that were you concerned
about Lindy? They'd

Unknown (02:01:46):
been enriched by Biden. They're taking that money to
kill all the Jews. So when wewere faced with destruction as a
nation after Pearl Harbor, fighting the Germans and the
Japanese, we decided to end thewar by bombing Hiroshima and
Nagasaki with nuclear weapons. That was the right decision give
Israel the bombs they need toend the war they can't afford to

(02:02:08):
lose and work with them tominimize casualties. What a
Google

John C Dvorak (02:02:14):
guys unbelievable is

Adam Curry (02:02:16):
a Google vote. Hey, South Carolina. What's wrong
with you?

John C Dvorak (02:02:21):
They just keep voting him in the guys Oh, this

Adam Curry (02:02:23):
guy is a Google rubber stamp to these center
boom horrible horrible horribleman. And he is responsible for
the setting up the coup and 2014in Ukraine. That guy is no good.
Ah

Unknown (02:02:43):
it's disgusting.

John C Dvorak (02:02:47):
How do you really feel about this like gives the
lives with his mom, you know?

Adam Curry (02:02:52):
No, no, he does not like clip Flavin some cheers.
You think so?

John C Dvorak (02:03:00):
Let me be dead by now.

Adam Curry (02:03:01):
We have an update. I actually got this from Sir Mark
Hall who was in Panama. He sentremark calls in Panama. You
know, I think he's half PanamaPanamanian. He has a place down
there was a half Panem Yeah. Andhe said he's a half painter. He
sent me a couple of a couple ofdetails couple of infos one. He

(02:03:24):
said, Wait a second. Let me justpulling up my text message right
now. He said so he's he doesn'thave a car down there. So he's
taking cabs and I don't know ifit's Uber but he says I'm
getting rides in a lot ofChinese sleds here in Panama.
Dong, fangs. BYD Chung sun, GACmotors ad nauseam.

John C Dvorak (02:03:49):
Yeah, Cy D. They're taking over the place
and lots of lots and Chinese Idon't have those. I don't have a
clip. But it looks like theChinese vehicles are will be
shortly taken over all theEuropean brands before they come
here. Hmm.

Adam Curry (02:04:05):
And then he said, Hey, you know, we have a new
president here in Panama. And heis making good on his
presidential promise. Forget theNiang which is that you get it
done. He's making good on thatpresent on that promise. Forget

Unknown (02:04:19):
the Niang Waco.
That was last night for Molinosacceptance speech after winning
the presidency and PanamaMolinos platform included
stopping the flow of migrantsgoing through the country
studying gap, one of the worstjungles in the world that

(02:04:42):
connects South America withNorth America. In an interview
on YouTube this morning, Molinovowed to close the jungle and to
repatriate all of the migrantsto where they came from while
respecting human rights. I havepersonally taken our fox as a
viewer As to that end gap wheremore than half a million people

(02:05:03):
cross in 2023 Molino, who wasMinister of Defense when Panama
had to battle Colombia'sguerrilla group out of the
Panamanian side of the Junglesays a wall cannot be built but
technology will help to keepmigrants out and stop the flow
to the United States.
Well, good for him

Adam Curry (02:05:25):
closing that Darien Gap Well, you know, what's gonna
happen is they're gonna sendsome boys down there. Hey, look
at this picture of you betteropen that Darien Gap because
we've got the internationaloffice of migration right there
on the other side, so you got toopen that up.

John C Dvorak (02:05:44):
Well, there's also we just fly him in hell
with it. Well, obviously that'sthe east gate is the middleman
just put them in a bin a builtin a Boeing Yes. flying straight
to Minnesota. Well,

Adam Curry (02:05:55):
no, let's fly them to Seattle because things are
breaking there.

Unknown (02:05:58):
I spoke with the quality in general manager he
tells me the city of Seattle hasyet to pay for any rooms since
the asylum seekers moved back inearlier this week. He also says
he has not received a contractfor this two months stay. This
whole situation is causing a lotof panic for these families that
have made the city of Kent theirhome, on and off for the last

(02:06:19):
several months. Now today wespoke with this group of asylum
seekers They chanted for thecity to keep them in Kent,

Adam Curry (02:06:26):
by the way these asylum seekers so they're in a
hotel and this in the city hasnot paid the hotel yet, which is
a couple $100,000 bill. Andthese asylum seekers this great
even though they got cleanclothes like the guys were in a
brand new cap. Now he'scomplaining about his kid not
being in school. It's like theyget an attitude.

Unknown (02:06:46):
Now, they just noticed I like this week after camping
at Seattle's Powell BarnettPark. The city put out a notice
they'd have to clear out bytoday and as we checked, they
did and as we reported onMonday, Seattle promised to fund
about two months of their hotelrooms. Jose mio says the
constant moving is stressful andimpacts his aunt his three year

(02:07:06):
old son's education also
my son has has been missingschool for like about a month
and a half because of the issuesthat we have moving from one
place to the other. And we donot want to move because we have
established a beautifulcommunity here. In response
to Seattle spokespersonclarifies the city is committed
to providing all of this fundingfor 45 families through June 30.

(02:07:31):
And that they empathize with thefrustration and confusion. She
adds that the exact details ofthat housing and shelter
arrangement in terms of locationmay be adjusted. Imagine

Adam Curry (02:07:41):
that I don't want to move my kids already miss too
much school.

Unknown (02:07:47):
Pay my bill. Let's let's

John C Dvorak (02:07:48):
be if we back up. You have to assume the only way
you get an attitude like that isyou've been invited

Adam Curry (02:07:57):
and you've been invited. You've been promised Of
course you've made promises

John C Dvorak (02:08:01):
have been made to you because you only get an edge
when somebody breaks a promise. So they promised them this they
promised them that then the endwho's doing the promising is
that UN operation our USgovernment no

Adam Curry (02:08:13):
no. Who do not care about us about the citizens they

John C Dvorak (02:08:17):
don't care about the what about the homeless and
the people that die on it. The100,000 100,000 people that are
dying of fentanyl wasting

Adam Curry (02:08:25):
Well I'll tell you guys who Hootenanny there's so
much money in that fentanylsmuggling, you know who's doing
it. And by the way, the BorderPatrol who are so neutered, so
neutered by the policy of ourgovernment who clearly do not
like the citizens of thecountry. They're so bored.
They're putting together tequilabrands.

Unknown (02:08:46):
These top border patrol officials pictured at a tequila
distillery in Mexico are nowpart of an internal
investigation into whether theyviolated ethics or security
protocols. Current and formerofficials tell NBC News. These
photos which were posted onsocial media shows Border Patrol
chief Jason Owens, Rio GrandeValley sector chief Gloria
Chavez and others with Mexicantequila maker Francisco Javier

(02:09:09):
Gonzalez sources with knowledgeof the relationship between
Gonzalez and the officials sayhe was working to create a
border patrol tequila to beunveiled at the border patrol
centennial celebration.Investigators now asking whether
the CBP leaders properlydisclosed their contact with
Gonzalez, a foreign national andwhether they accepted anything
that would violate ethics rules.Officials tell NBC News it all

(02:09:32):
comes during a tumultuous periodfor Border Patrol, and the last
year and a half to top officialsleft the agency after
allegations surfaced of sexualmisconduct. And a whistleblower
report recently questioned why atop medical officer tried to
order fentanyl lollipops tobring with him while providing
security for the UN GeneralAssembly. While Border Patrol

(02:09:52):
tequila is now off the menu theagency is still preparing for
its 100th anniversary later thismonth. The celebration includes
two golf two An immense a paradeand a black tie gala all
sponsored by DHS contractors whoget hundreds of millions in
government contracts. Customsand Border Protection said his
finance and ethics officers areconducting careful reviews

(02:10:12):
around the centennial events.Well, well, well.

Adam Curry (02:10:16):
How about that as

John C Dvorak (02:10:18):
a party's all the time? Yep. Bentonville popsicle
parties black tie affairs allpaid for by who? By show
corrupt.

Unknown (02:10:27):
Mm hmm. I know. Where did you get that clip?

Adam Curry (02:10:32):
That's NBC. Wow, that's NBC that by the way, I
think is courtesy of the clipcustodian. It's one of the Jones
brothers syndicate. Both of themI've been active.

John C Dvorak (02:10:44):
Steve for a while he's no hands up crashed after
it's been cut off. Three bythree. He doesn't

Adam Curry (02:10:50):
like you. He's like dead. John is just not my cup of
tea.

John C Dvorak (02:10:56):
seems unlikely.

Adam Curry (02:11:01):
So yeah, this is all very bad. It's all very bad.
Now, this whole thing? It's Idon't know what to say anymore.
Because it's our government. Ourgovernment hates us.

John C Dvorak (02:11:18):
Well, here's a good example of this night it
happened. It's just not this isinternational. I have a Katie
Hopkins rant which is actuallyquite good. She's complaining
about this Sadiq Khan guy gotelected as again, again a day of
the London mayor and this guy'sa creep isn't

Adam Curry (02:11:37):
the majority of people in London? Aren't they
Muslim at this point?

John C Dvorak (02:11:42):
No, I don't believe they are. But the point
that she makes is that reallynobody voted in this election.
Anyway. Nobody wants to giveconsent to anything. And she
has. Katie Hopkins was who was awas a professional broadcaster
who had a she's going shows it'skind of annoying. She got pretty
annoying. But she's always beenannoying. She's always been

(02:12:04):
annoying. But she got cancelled. And so she's now she's a tick
talker. But she still has theprofessional chops. And she does
have a point she has points tomake your little over the top,
but I think it's worth listeningto her.

Unknown (02:12:26):
There is a reason that only 40% of London turned out
for the London mayor or vote. And when BBC is Nick Robinson
says all 1500 votes between twocandidates. This proves Your
vote matters. Absolute Tosh. Thereason people didn't turn out
for the local elections isn'tbecause they're not informed or
because they couldn't bebothered. It's because they no

(02:12:48):
longer want to give validity tothe democratic process of voting
because they cannot stand asingle politician. We have
politician sending pictures oftheir nuts for someone and then
being easily blackmailed. Wehave politicians making it
illegal for me if I don't agreethat Michael is now Michaela
because he tucked his meat andtwo veg up into a pair of Spanx.

(02:13:11):
We have politicians launderingtaxpayers cash through war or
pandemics and putting itstraight into the pockets of
their mates. People no longertrust politicians of any sort
and don't want to give validityto the democratic process
because we don't want them tothink they've got a mandate.

(02:13:31):
blimmin Sadiq Khan has now 17%of London's vote that not a
political mandate. And mostimportantly of all, we're
supposed to be governed byconsent. Well, people aren't
just accepting that we're goingto be governed by consent.
People are no longer givingconsent to be governed, and what

(02:13:52):
comes next may not be pretty.

Adam Curry (02:13:54):
So historically speaking, when this happens,
which of course has happened inin historical times, what does
happen? When people are just sosick and tired of it? They're
like, they don't even feel likethey're being governed by
consent or that have any thatthere's no mandate. What
historically happens is thisword revolution comes into play

(02:14:16):
to the pitchforks. Revolution

John C Dvorak (02:14:18):
usually is have a strong man figure come in and
kind of clean house housecleaning does take place every
so often. Not necessarily via arevolution. I mean, it was the
last revolution that worldwidethat has occurred was of any
importance outside of you know,Ecuador or a phony revolution

(02:14:39):
was just some some military hometo take or I guess, I guess,
maybe in the south, but howabout holidays? Haiti is

Adam Curry (02:14:47):
probably the only one.

Unknown (02:14:50):
Haiti is ready

John C Dvorak (02:14:52):
for that revolution, but

Adam Curry (02:14:54):
yeah, yeah, Haiti is probably more real than
anything. And but that's

John C Dvorak (02:14:57):
always been Haiti has been a mess.

Adam Curry (02:14:59):
It's not pretty You know what, there's good news
though. And these are not I'mnot trying to usurp your good
news clips. But I am seeingchange in the United States of
America, which I love. I love ithow Americans are just like, You
know what? We're sick and tiredof this, which we're just going
to go back to what we think isright two schools

Unknown (02:15:17):
in Virginia are getting new names, actually their old
names the names of Confederateofficers. The Shenandoah County
School Board is the first in thenation to revert to names from
before the racial reckoning of2020. And as CBS has Nicole
Killian reports, the communityis fiercely divided over the
move. The motion hearing

(02:15:39):
to one vote, the ShenandoahCounty Virginia School Board
voted to restore the names oftwo schools to Confederate
generals After a heated hourslong meeting. Why are
we here tonight? To go back to atime in history. That was very
cruel.
Everyone is going to think thatwe're racist rednecks. And

(02:16:01):
that's not okay.
The schools were initiallystripped of their Confederate
names in 2020 after massiveprotests surrounding the death
of George Floyd. Mountain ViewHigh School will be renamed for
Confederate General StonewallJackson, while honey Run
Elementary School will bear thenames of two Confederate
generals Robert E. Lee andTurner Ashby. Do you see this as

(02:16:25):
a slap in the face to AfricanAmericans who live in this
community?
It is absolutely a slap in theface to African Americans and
quite frankly, the school boardas it is currently comprised
made a decision to go againstthe will of the people there I
respond
by saying hopefully this canopen up dialogue where people

(02:16:47):
can sit down and civilly discussissues such as this.
Mike Sheedy said the renamingprocess four years ago was
flawed as the process.
It was not followed. And peoplewere not given a voice in their
own government, which are Imean, that's the cornerstone of
our of our

Adam Curry (02:17:04):
Republican. That's the point. That's the point,
turn everything back then let'sjust go back to before we were
all sigh, opt into the GeorgeFloyd mania, and then we can sit
down and calm and decide if wewant to change this or not. I
think that's that's hopeful. Ilike that. And even more
hopeful, is this report

Unknown (02:17:24):
is a noticeable shift in post grad choices for many
high schoolers this year. Infact, many are embracing
alternative routes as opposed totraditional college paths. And
there's a surge of young adultsentering trades or immediately
starting their careers afterhigh school, the fact that could
put college attendance numbersin 2024, lower than in 2020.

(02:17:46):
Students
looking at skilled trades isdefinitely I guess I'm gonna say
making a comeback in terms ofpost high school options. It's
making the outlook a little bitbleak for Fall enrollments.
The experts say this coming fallenrollment will tell them a lot
about the current mindset ofhigh school seniors. Yes,

(02:18:08):
right on. This is great news. Weneed people who can do stuff.
Yeah,

John C Dvorak (02:18:16):
plumbers, yes, plumbers,
good money. It's not like it's abad idea. No,

Adam Curry (02:18:21):
it's a fence. It's a fantastic idea. Yeah, trade
school. Let's bring backapprenticeship. In fact, I'm, I
am now offering apprenticeshipsfor podcasters if you're a young
person who wants to become aprofessional podcast are
apprenticeships available withme

John C Dvorak (02:18:42):
to pick up a few kids

Adam Curry (02:18:44):
yes and get them to work for free. It's what
apprenticeships

John C Dvorak (02:18:49):
are cheap. Yeah,

Adam Curry (02:18:50):
they do some stuff around the house too. While
you're at it, you pick

John C Dvorak (02:18:53):
up your dry cleaning all the stuff that
apprentices are supposed to do.

Adam Curry (02:18:59):
So there you know if it's not enough that the who was
it? Me see, where's this? Iforget who did it. The FBI is
now has now had to reluctantlyadmit that they staged some of
the Trump Mar Lago crime scenephotos. In fact, cover sheets

(02:19:21):
that read top secret which youwere all Judy, about. You wanted
some of those. I got them andyou got them? Well, you probably
got them from the FBI becausethey planted them and position
them in the photos show. Yeah,

John C Dvorak (02:19:35):
the whole thing was a scam. And it turns out
that Jack Smith had to admit toit. And now the case is going
down the toilet.

Adam Curry (02:19:42):
But don't worry. We've got a new

Unknown (02:19:44):
one former President Donald Trump may owe $100
million in back taxes for TrumpTower here in Chicago. That's
according to The New York Timesand pro publica which looked
into IRS audits of the Trumpfamily business, according to
their work. For the IRS as theformer president use tax
loopholes to write off hislosses on the Chicago tower

(02:20:07):
twice. The first write off wasin 2008, before Trump tower
opened, Trump claimed the towerqualified for the tax code of
worthless meaning he would notsee a profit.

Adam Curry (02:20:18):
So of course no source for this but we're gonna
get on with the IRS now. Peopleare relentless.

John C Dvorak (02:20:25):
It's really funny because a loophole is the
establish of the whole is aloophole.

Adam Curry (02:20:30):
It's the whole point he used, Paul. Well, that's what
is there for Hello, everyone.Everyone uses the old crappy
building loophole. Oh, I gotwell, I got another Trump thing
here and a new jingle tointroduce this particular clip.

Unknown (02:20:47):
At the tone, a clip from the view will be played
shelter in place. Can
I say just one quick thing?Yeah. The one thing that was
also interesting is thatMadeline went over all of his
important contacts people thathe called all the time because
she had to get a list. This

Adam Curry (02:21:04):
is Trump's speed dial, Tom

Unknown (02:21:07):
Brady, Jeanine Pirro, Mika and Joe Sean Hannity, Mark
Burnett, Michael Cohen, BillBelichick David pecker and Alan
weisselberg and Serena Williams, what do you make of that list?
Serena Williams was a regularcall. So striking to me. The
people that is this? I mean,Michael Cohen doesn't fit in

(02:21:30):
that list, because he turnedagainst him. Yes. For people
that went 17 Oh, that wasn't 17Those were his most all right
contact.

Adam Curry (02:21:40):
I can't believe it use friends was like normal
people.

John C Dvorak (02:21:44):
Unbelievable. That was sunny Hoskins, I guess.
Yes, of course. Of course. He'sthe worst that woman she

Adam Curry (02:21:52):
is pretty bad. Well, no, you know, was really bad.

Unknown (02:21:58):
James Carville.

John C Dvorak (02:22:00):
I mean, I heard from him for a while. You have a
James Carville clip. Oh, I

Adam Curry (02:22:03):
have two James Carville clips. Okay. Well, you

John C Dvorak (02:22:06):
stopped the show for that. Well, it's worth it.
Because

Adam Curry (02:22:10):
I mean, he used to be relevant. Probably, I think
he was his relevancy probablywent away. What do you think?
1015 years ago? He was a bigdeal at the time he,

John C Dvorak (02:22:26):
he was actually irrelevant when we started this
show, which almost 17 years ago. Here

Unknown (02:22:32):
we go. If they get a hold, there will be no
government left. There'll be norights left. You will live under
theocracy, you'll end upChristian nationalism. But
that's all right. You lookfucking 26 year old you don't
feel like elections in Portland.I made it not addressing the
issues that I care about.

Adam Curry (02:22:50):
It's yelling at 26 year olds who will never even
hear this. He is he's going offthe rails. This is a minute
long, but I think you can bearwith it in

Unknown (02:23:00):
Trump's more head than he's ever been more do people
think January of six was anykind of what it was is a an
assault on the temple ofdemocracy to our constitution or
whatever fuck you want to sayit's gone the wrong way. It's
not working. Everything thatwe're throwing is spaghetti at a

(02:23:25):
wall and none of it is stickingme included. And it's hard when
you're starting at a year andyou can you know, like anybody
else have opinion of myself. Andthe opinion I've come to is I
don't matter. That's a matter. You can be can prepare your you

(02:23:48):
can be on TV or you can writepieces. You can have a YouTube
channel, you can have a podcast, podcasting, nothing. And you
know what, put out a white tryto think of something different.
Because what we're doing isreally, really not working.

John C Dvorak (02:24:14):
What is he talking about himself

Adam Curry (02:24:16):
that no one cares about him and in the brilliant
words of Valerie Gail Clark, mymother no longer with us, but I
know she's up there smiling atme. She would say Oh, dry up and
blow away. That's what Carvilleneeds to do dry up and blow
away. He

John C Dvorak (02:24:36):
needs to have something better. A better
president you know ever sincethat movie came out the color
whatever it was it was thismovie. It was about the Clinton
election for the first presidentlecture they brought out the
fact that Carville is apparentlya flasher.

Unknown (02:24:55):
flasher you

John C Dvorak (02:24:57):
know a guy who's shows himself to Just random
slasher Yeah, flashes. Last yearis remember this.

Adam Curry (02:25:06):
It was

John C Dvorak (02:25:06):
in the movie. And everyone was like, Oh, there he
is. Again, the guy was justgonna give it up. And and I
think it did hurt his career.

Adam Curry (02:25:19):
Let me see do we do we? I don't know if we flasher I
kind of remember that. What acreepy guy then that's no good.
That's very creepy. Okay. Ithink this is rather important.
As tomorrow we've got to what, first of all? Let's Yeah, let me
start with this tomorrow. Bigannouncement happening. Big big

(02:25:43):
announcement. Now

Unknown (02:25:43):
this Monday, open AI is set to announced plans for a
search engine powered byartificial intelligence. That's
according to Reuters newsagency. It's the latest
challenge to Google. And thenannouncement would come a day
before Google's annual developerconference. Well, for more, I'm
joined by our technology editorKai.
Allison, good question. I thinkSundar Pichai. He would not say

(02:26:07):
he's nervous. He didn't say hewas not sweating. And certainly
he'd say he's not dancing toanyone's tune. In fact, that's
exactly what he told Bloombergthis week in an interview with
Emily Chang, that was a giantMicrosoft CEO, Satya Nadella,
who in February last year, saidthe release of their being their
new Bing chat with thatartificial intelligence would

(02:26:28):
make Google of dance,
do make Google dance.

John C Dvorak (02:26:36):
It's my opinion,

Adam Curry (02:26:37):
I think it's interesting. I think Google, you
know, big companies do mess upand do go away. You know, this,
this does happen from time totime.

John C Dvorak (02:26:49):
Happens all the time. And it's kind of the way
it is

Adam Curry (02:26:52):
who is vulnerable. And if anything, I think
perplexity has a shot at the Idon't know what Microsoft
Microsoft is, because of course, you know, open AI, whatever
they're going to do. It's goingto it's, it's an open eye book,
basically owned by Microsoft atthis point. Well,

John C Dvorak (02:27:08):
I'm of the opinion that we have the, by

Adam Curry (02:27:12):
the way, this is a tech segment. And this is
probably the best technologysegment you'll get anywhere. To

John C Dvorak (02:27:17):
nowadays. I'm of the opinion, we were dealing
with the the the idea of whenyou're in a motorcycle, you
don't look at the rock.

Unknown (02:27:28):
Yeah.

Adam Curry (02:27:30):
Good point.

John C Dvorak (02:27:32):
You look at where you're going, not what you don't
want to hit because you'll hitit. So

Adam Curry (02:27:36):
you tell a man that Googles the rock?

John C Dvorak (02:27:39):
Yeah, if you're in a motorcycle, or any even a
car and you see something, youdon't want to look at it,
because you'll you'll veertoward it and hit it. This is a
well known thing you do. But Ibelieve this is a metaphor for
or even a it's just an examplean analogous to a lot of other
things in the business world. And Google because I remember

(02:28:03):
this from the early days ofsilicon spin when Sergey used to
be on the show a lot. Google waswell aware of what happened to
Alta Vista. Yep. And this wasthe era when Yahoo was still the
number one search engine Googlewas it. Google didn't really
take off as, as the, as theowner

Adam Curry (02:28:24):
of Yahoo. Didn't Yahoo by their search from was
excite did they buy X? Oh, theybought

John C Dvorak (02:28:29):
it from everybody. They bought a slew of
different companies. And it justgot worse and worse. Because
Yahoo could never implementanything properly. It was a
terrible company. But But Googlewas always aware of what
happened to Alta Vista. And inother words, Google is looking

(02:28:50):
at the rock. Yeah.

Adam Curry (02:28:53):
Yeah. And so they Great. That's a great analogy.

John C Dvorak (02:28:57):
It's a great one. Great,

Adam Curry (02:28:58):
you are the great one.

John C Dvorak (02:28:59):
But he is looking at they're they're looking at
the rock and so that's bad. It'sbecause of, I mean, this is from
the beginning. So looking at

Adam Curry (02:29:09):
the rock, it's two Indian guys duking it out. Just
just as a little observation.Oh,

John C Dvorak (02:29:15):
that is kind of cool. That makes it funnier.
Yeah. Can you imagine?

Adam Curry (02:29:18):
I liked the other Indian guy. I forget his name,
but perplexity.ai Have you seenI've we've talked about a thing
perplexity? No

John C Dvorak (02:29:26):
not familiar with it.

Adam Curry (02:29:27):
I think it's a crappy name. Because it keep
forgetting what it is. Butperplexity.ai That's actually an
interesting search engine

John C Dvorak (02:29:36):
that uses AI insight. We'll be using it this
week.

Adam Curry (02:29:39):
It says ask questions, trust the answers.
And so it and I've asked itseveral things. I'm like, well,
we'll never know. Oh, how aboutthis? Why don't we use the John
C Dvorak test when and that is,what is the best weed whacker?
Am I correct? Is that not thequestion the test? Okay, what is
the best way weed whacker comesback and says, based on the

(02:30:03):
search results were like thatthe best weed whacker, also
known as a string trimmer orweed eater, depends on your
specific needs and preferences. Here's some top recommendations.
Then see the the echo DSRM. 2100is highly rated for a battery
powered option that Makita theD, Walt D, C S T 972 x one

(02:30:28):
another excellent cordlesstrimmer. And it has, you know,
I'm liking what they do, it hasall of their it has all of their
sources listed. By the way, Iwas talking to willow, willow,
she has her master's in her ownthesis was an online psychology

(02:30:48):
and, and she works for a searchrecommendation engine company
something like that. And so shedoes a lot of she's building
large language models forclients. And, and she says that,
you know, it's like, it'sbasically a chatbot that never
comes up with a with a with Igot no answer because it's

(02:31:09):
always going to recommend aproduct. And I said, Ah, now
we'll see I think this is goneall end up in this in quantum
computing. She said, Ah, wealmost missed the boat. It's
already there. Said clients areall jacked about quantum
computing. They all want it. Andthey say, and they say that

(02:31:30):
Google actually has a phenomenalsearch based on their quantum
computer. But it's notaffordable. No one can afford
it. But apparently it was atwork. I don't know. Because it's
vaporware. As far as I'mconcerned.

John C Dvorak (02:31:49):
I think the whole thing is bold crap.

Adam Curry (02:31:51):
I bet you that Google's just you know, is just
doing demos that look reallyimpressive. I'm with you. I
don't think it's real at all.

John C Dvorak (02:31:59):
But they're selling at Silicon Valley and
doing fake demos to show upright? That's not a new idea.
Final

Adam Curry (02:32:08):
question I have for you I have my own opinion. Your
your opinion. This is kind ofthe the white man's Drake versus
Kendrick Lamar. What did youthink of the apple? What do you
think of the Apple ad? Thecrashing the crush Apple ad for
the for the new iPad?

John C Dvorak (02:32:27):
Oh, the crush Apple ad? I haven't seen it.
Well, there you go.

Adam Curry (02:32:33):
You know, have you heard about it though? Yeah,
yeah, I've heard about it. Sohere was my thought. Within the
apple ads were great. Theystarted with the 1984
Introducing the Mac

John C Dvorak (02:32:46):
years ago and they were using ChIAT day ChIAT
day

Adam Curry (02:32:49):
That's right. Jay ChIAT himself

John C Dvorak (02:32:52):
who I had drinks with him once

Adam Curry (02:32:55):
I think I spent a drink or two with ChIAT is a
great guy.

John C Dvorak (02:33:00):
But by the way he's also this is also a a great
don't he's he's got thisattitude about don't complain
about stuff. I was talking tohim about ad buying and how it's
been ruined by these you know, these these dummies that come
out of college and then all of asudden they're hired as the
advisor never read the magazinenever do anything he says you
know this is just the kind ofcomplaints you hear from sales

(02:33:23):
guys. They just complain forgetat do your work.

Adam Curry (02:33:28):
So Tim, my thinking is that Apple is now a
destructive company. And whenjust explain. And I think they
this shows you what is happeninginside Apple, Steve Jobs Now he
was gone for a period there. Butyou know, for the past, you
know, before he passed away, itwas a very creative, it was

(02:33:51):
always positive. It was aboutcreation. He himself was
messianic in a way. Because wecreate loyalty we're for the
crazy ones were for theoddballs. We create we're
creators, we make beautifulthings. And now the company has
turned into demonic evilcrushing people who we go these

(02:34:12):
things do not pass bymanagement, unobserved or
unapproved. When you in yourheart and your soul, you're like
yeah, let's crush all thatstuff. Let's show destruction.
That's who they've become. And Ithink that I should. Do you
think this is just all symbolismthis is this is where they are

(02:34:33):
now. They are about negativedecision pushing

John C Dvorak (02:34:37):
symbol this they can't keep it to themselves.
They can't because they are nobecause nobody can you can't
keep it to yourself.

Adam Curry (02:34:43):
No, they are all about crashing and breaking
things down. And they are nolonger positive but is no longer
an aspirational positivecompany. This is coming from
deep inside its DNA. I'm lookingat you Tim Collins.

John C Dvorak (02:34:58):
Well, it's an interest In thesis,

Unknown (02:35:01):
I'm going to show my mood by donating to no agenda
Imagine all the people who coulddo that. Oh yeah, that'd be fun

John C Dvorak (02:35:16):

Next show 1660 Whatopportunities there Christopher
man again starts us off with thedonation segment. Second half a
show which we're now back tothat's

Adam Curry (02:35:35):
why it feels good. Doesn't it doesn't feel good.
It's

John C Dvorak (02:35:38):
you know, I like changing things now and again, I
never mind did everything beingat the end because it you know,
but I think this is better.Because it breaks up things
people. This show is tedious.Let's face it. Chris Christopher

Adam Curry (02:35:56):
let's face it it's just tedious that's a bumper Yes
hello no agenda shop no agenda

John C Dvorak (02:36:01):

complacent. It's so dense withit. We sometimes we're so dense
with information is people can'teven list they

Adam Curry (02:36:10):

the show. Just like

John C Dvorak (02:36:15):

Adam Curry (02:36:45):
Murray that the British guy who's? Who's the
intellectual? Or is thatdifferent? I

John C Dvorak (02:36:51):
don't know. But he we don't have a city here for
him. So I have no idea. Allright, but

Adam Curry (02:36:55):

their lives.
