Nathan Burke wears many hats (or helmets) in the football world. He was a star for St.Kilda in his 323 games, captained the club, won 2 Trevor Barker Awards as the Saints' best and fairest player, plus was selected 4 times as as All Australian player. Nathan went on the St. Kilda board after his playing days as well as into media roles - most notably with ABC radio - and currently combines that role with coaching the Western Bulldogs AFLW team.
Nathan has seen junior coaching from both sides with his father a large presence in his junior sporting days, and Nathan actively involved in his daughters' sport. No one is better qualified to write a book about the dos and don'ts of sports parenting.
Nathan chats to Kevin about the motivation behind the book and his thoughts on the right path for parents to follow so both they and their kids enjoy the experience.
