The FBI had multiple doctors secretly record conversations in order to learn about the illegal ways Edgewater Hospital filled up its beds. In all, they recorded over 900 tapes. Their investigation took another sharp turn when an audit revealed Edgewater's Cardiologist doing an unusual amount of invasive heart procedures.
