Welcome to 'Peri Menopause Power,' the podcast where we dive deep into the transformative journey of menopause, sharing real stories from real women.

We're excited to have welcomed Emily Jaksch to the podcast to share with us her personal Menopause story. Emily is a keynote Speaker, Author, People & Leadership Strategist with over two decades of experience in the Human Resources industry.

Emily is a Master NLP communicator and motivational educator, degree qualified (BComm) and she has worked across many industries for large international companies, including The Royal Bank of Scotland, Australia’s icon GM Holden, and giants Wesfarmers and Coles.

In 2010, she founded her own award-winning HR Consultancy – HR Gurus, and since then, she has been helping businesses to humanise HR with her straight-talking and no-fluff approach. This unique approach enables her to deliver the message that everyone needs to hear about managing the different generations in the current business environment!

In this episode, Emily shares her personal menopause story and insights, shedding light on her experiences and the challenges she's faced.

We'll explore:

  • how she came into menopause
  • her journey of understanding and coping with it, and
  • the impact it has had on her life.

We'll also discuss the importance of education around menopause, addressing stereotypes in the workplace and the role workplaces should play in supporting women going through this phase of life.
