Bernie Nicholls, who still holds the Los Angeles King's franchise record for most goals in a single season, joins us today! He is one of only of 4 players in NHL history to score 70 goals or more, and finish with 150 points or more in a single season. The other 3 to accomplish this are Phil Esposito, Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. Bernie played in 1127 NHL games, for 6 different NHL teams and finished his career in 2006 with over a ‘point per game’ pace with 1,209 points. He was also named an NHL All Star on three occasions and currently is NOT in the Hockey Hall of Fame - His numbers are very strong - take a listen to what Bernie has to say and you decide!
