The plaintiff says the defendant is her son’s father, who held his son’s Nintendo hostage and then smashed it in a tantrum. She’s suing him for the cost and punitive damages. The defendant says he broke the game to teach his son a lesson after he broke his stepbrother’s tablet two years before. He’s countersuing for the cost of the tablet and punitive damages. Then, the plaintiff says he agreed to buy the defendant’s house, but the man backed out of the deal. He says he had already paid for an inspection, so he’s suing for the money back. The defendant says the inspection was done before the contract was completed, so he owes nothing. Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant is her former hairstylist. She claims she loaned her money for rent, and she was supposed to repay her by doing her hair for free until it was paid off, but she still owes a balance and the plaintiff is suing for it. The defendant says the the plaintiff gave her the money toward her business because they were “sisters in Christ,” and the woman wants her hair done free forever.
