Starting in 1993, SAB aggressively expanded outside its home country, they invested in Eastern Europe, in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.
Management control was gained of breweries in Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zambia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, and Uganda during this period. All these brewers had one thing in common, they needed promotional and marketing material.
There to take advantage of this opportunity Matthew and Roger founded Big Eye Branding to supply world class marketing material to 47 countries in these underserved markets.
