What if the relationship that needs the most work isn't the one you're in - it's the one you have with yourself?
In this episode, I'm sharing my biggest fear about the work I do with women - that teaching you to trust yourself might lead you to leave your relationship prematurely, before you've done the real work. This isn't a "stay at all costs" message or a "leave and find better" story.
This is about what happens when you finally stop avoiding the uncomfortable truth of your role in the dynamic and start taking radical responsibility for how you show up.
You'll hear about my 13-year relationship, the year and a half between hitting rock bottom (miscarriage, going deaf, complete burnout) and finally leaving, and the brutal honesty that changed everything. I'm sharing what I wasn't doing - the ways I was managing, accommodating, and people-pleasing instead of actually communicating my truth.
I'm also revealing how I knew it was truly time to leave - and why doing the work first meant I could walk away with zero regrets and total clarity.
If you've been wondering whether you should stay or go, this episode will help you ask the right question first.
What We're Covering:
The truth is...
You can't do this work in theory. You can't heal in a vacuum. Your relationship is showing you exactly where you still have room to grow - and until you face that mirror, you'll carry the same patterns into your next relationship.

Ruthie's Table 4
For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
