Speaker 1 (00:03):
At least is the drive with Dale Lolly and Matt
Williamson on your twenty four to seven home of the
Black and Gold Steelers Nation Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
And we are back I and Dale Lolly. He is
the Matt Williamson and this is our number two that
drive here on the Steelers Audio Network. It is the
time of the show where we do our DFS lineup.
And somebody in the comments yes and yesterday show, don't
listen to these guys on dfs. They're they're not going
to win you big money. We've never claimed you're trying
to win big money on a big money so much

(00:35):
you bet. We don't have the algorithm here that that
some of the others, and we're not doing We're doing
this as we've said all along, to win fifty to
fifty double ups. And if you're making a bet on
a on a Sunday, Saturday, whatever game, you're gonna pay
the juice. So whatever bet you make, you're not going
to get a double. Your money kind of kind of

(00:56):
sits you.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
If you get twenty bucks on, you'llet twenty bucks back.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
You'll get twenty backs. You don't win forty.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
It's not how it works. The palaces in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
We're just and this gives us a way of people
who again, maybe you don't like the DA maybe not
fancy people, right, maybe you're not fantasy people. But it
gives us another way to look at all of the games.
And that's the big thing here is that we're doing here.
And there's only six games this week. We're gonna look
at these lineups and we're gonna tell you who we
think is going to do well and who's not going
to do well. And that might give you an idea

(01:24):
who's going to win those games?

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Yeah, yeah, And it's your account, and I know you
don't put a huge amount of dollars on it, and
we're doing it for the show, right, and if you
guys want to put five zeros on the end of it,
we're giving you.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, we're gonna go through everything. You know, we had
a rough stretch, you know, earlier in the season where
we went a few weeks without winning, but by and large,
we win more than we lose.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
And so I'm promising you. But this isn't your hirement account.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Only, it's we're only doing it for fun, my job
to make your money.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yeah, looking at this weekend's defense.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
We kind of rolled through these earlier in the week
so we have.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
A better and tight ends are kind of tricky.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yeah, So the Ravens are thirty seven hundred, Bills are
thirty five hundred, Eagles thirty three hundred, the Chargers thirty
two hundred, the Bucks are thirty one hundred, Vikings three thousand,
Rams twenty nine hundred, the Commanders are twenty eight hundred,
the Texans are twenty seven hundred, the Packers are twenty
six hundred, Broncos twenty four hundred, Steelers twenty two hundred.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
I want nothing to do with the defenses in Washington Tampa,
which is a precursor for where I do want to
invest in that.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
And when you're looking at defensive folks, weather matters. Weather's big,
Weather's huge.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Part of me just wants to take the Steelers because
they're the cheapest, and they take the gallaway, they're gonna
get some think it's gonna be super high scoring game. Either.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
What's the weather. I know we are snow expected during
the day if you're looking just here what they're saying
on this No snow it eight o'clock. The weather is
clear by eight o'clock. But it's gonna be chilli. It's
gonna be windy.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Eight o'clock in Baltimore in mid Jay on the on
the Inner Harbor, Yeah, yeah, is there any they're jumping
out at you? I don't see Chargers Houston being high.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
School actually, like the two of the cheaper. I like
the Broncos. I like the Steelers, Like the Broncos. I
don't mind playing the Texans. No, at twenty seven hundred dollars,
they're going to get sacks, they're gonna get It's a
good defense. Yeah, it's a good defense. The Vikings at
three thousand, Yeah, it's a good defense. But I think
Stafford will maneuver against the blitzes and things that they're

(03:35):
going to get some sacks. I think he's go cheap.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
I think i'd definitely like.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I don't mind the Packers either at twenty six hundred.
I know they're not They're not going to get a
ton of sacks and everything.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
They'd be My least favorite of this are the are
the Are.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
The Eagles going to come out and throw the ball
over the yard? But Jalen Hurts coming.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Back off the Jarry Alexander's playing I'm not saying we
should go into a J. Brown, but I think Brown
and Smith have big days. By the way, Hurst just
got cleared, I don't.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I don't think they throw the ball all over the
yard in this game, though.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
No, I don't think he'll throw at forty times.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Eagles have also lost. I think they've lost their last
three wild card weekend games.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah, they might. Now, I like Denver Houston Chargers Steelers.
You just want to go check the cheapest, cheap boy Steelers.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Is gonna get some points. Yeah, I don't expect this
to be a high scoring affair. I don't either, nor
does Vegas. I mean it's a what forty three and
a half forty four point over under all right, okay,
that's settles that then tight ends.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Tight ends kind of tricky. I think it's another place
you go cheap.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Mark Andrews is forty seven hundred, because nobody's real expensive.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
That's the other thing. There's not the tough guy.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Friar Mooth is forty four hundred.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Oh he'st two. I thought he was gonna be a
sneaky cheapoint.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Zach Ertz is forty three hundred. T. J. Hawkinson is
forty two hundred. Well, they're all kind of cheapish because
you don't have the six thousand dollars player there. Hawkinson
forty two hundred, Oughten is forty one hundred, he has
no injury designation. Dalton Kinkaid four thousand, Dallas Goddard thirty
nine hundred, Tucker craft After thirty seven hundred, Felton Schultz

(05:02):
thirty six hundred, will Disley thirty four hundred, Tyler Higbee
thirty three hundred, Isaiah Likely thirty two hundred, Pained Durham
thirty one hundred. I mean Stone Smartest twenty nine hundred,
getting pretty cheap here.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, you made a face at Disley, which I understand.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Because they're down on They're down on options in.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
The middle of the field's kind of weak for Houston.
The ones I liked were a little pricier than that
were Goddard, who I think basically just went through the
motions last week to get it to get his feet wet. Yeah, Hawkinson,
I know he hasn't been great lately, but thirty great.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
They're thirtieth against opposing tigers.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Are they really? Yeah? For that that league I'm in
that you pick one that you can only use one week.
I picked Hawkinson this week. Just no, I used Firemouth actually,
but he's more expensive than I thought he'd be, And
there was one other tight end right in that Hawkinson
neighborhood I thought was appealing.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Urtz at forty three hundred isn't bad. But you're not
going to get any yack. No, but they're twenty they're
twenty against opposing tight ends.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Really, Yeah, he was a little more expensive I thought
it'd be, though.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Yeah, you just want to go with Hawkinson. Forty two
hundred is still under budget.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah, I know his numbers haven't been great lately, but
they're thirtiething is supposing Titans. Yeah, I think he's a
really good player.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, all right, let's look at the quarterbacks. Josh Allen
eighty two hundred, Lamar Jackson eight thousand.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
She ain't playing up for either one of those.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
No, Jade and Daniels seventy five hundred.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
That was my pick for my the league.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
That's attractive. Yeah, Herts is seventy three hundred. Mayfield is
sixty eight hundred.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
That's attractive. I don't want Hurt to take a shot
to the head in the first quarter. That's the Yeah,
I'm off on that one. Uh.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
You got Sam Darnold at sixty five hundred, Uh, Bo
Nicks at sixty three hundred, Justin Herbert six thousand, Jordan
Love at fifty eight hundred, Matthew Stafford at fifty seven hundred.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Strangles really stands out.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Stroud is fifty five hundred, Russell Wilson is fifty three hundred,
and then you're getting into some guys who aren't gonna play.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
People don't play. Yeah, I think you pay up for Daniels,
and that wasn't that much of a payout.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
It's not that much of a pay If I were
gonna pay down, I would go Stafford.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
I would say Herbert would be my paydown. But I
do like Stafford.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Stafford fifty seven hundred.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
He's got all those guys, He's got all those guys.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
They're rested, they're going to be indoors. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I think get a game.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
The game got moved.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
That game is gonna have some track track meet type.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Okay, your call. If you're gonna do Stafford, and if
we have money, we pay back up for Daniels. I
think I think it.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Maybe you go Stafford and stack him with two with Puko.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah, he was a guy I grabbed in that league too,
because I.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Think he could go nuts.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Yes, I'm a big believer.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Because again I think that game could be start there.
Let's start there. I think that gets us. Now we
can average sixty three hundred, No, it'll be top five ish,
But running back Saque is eighty five hundred, Derrick Henry
is eighty two hundred, Josh Jacobs is seventy seven hundred,
Kien Williams seventy four hundred, Joe Mixon seventy two hundred,

(08:05):
Bucky Irving, I'll.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Say they better say Bucky Irving the name pretty quick.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Seven thousand, uh, James Cook sixty seven hundred, JK. Dobbins
sixty two hundred, Aarondgable, Yeah, Aaron Jones is questionable as well.
He is six thousand. Brian Robinson is fifty eight hundred,
Jalen Warren fifty two hundred.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
They allow a lot of production to receiving backs.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Javonte Williams is fifty one hundred, Rashad White five thousand,
Naujee Harris five thousand, Emmanuel Wilson forty nine hundred, Julia
McLaughlin forty nine hundred. Akers is forty eight hundred and ekelars.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Forty one hundred.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
If I'm gonna pay down for for Ekeler McLaughlin, I
think I might want McLaughlan Buffalo's twenty ninth against opposing
running backs.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
And if it turns into a blowout, he's gonna catch
a lot of pass Yeah, Tampa's eighth, like you're running,
You're running into videvea.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Oh, I know, I don't like that.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
I do think Echolar did the Goddard thing where he
just kind of played the address rehearsal. I get it,
and I'm a big Brian Robinson fan. Bucky Irving was
one that was not a paydown for right and Jalen Warren.
I think Warren catches five balls.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
He's Warren better in this game than McLachlin or Ekolar.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
Oh, I think so.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
But he's pricier a little bit, not a great deal
like three hundred. He's three hundred dollars more than McLachlin.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
I think he's a tear above those guys.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Okay, so you want to go Bucky Irving and Jalen Warren.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Yeah, Okay, qualms with that, But I bet Washington's pretty
kind against running backs.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Yeah, they're like middle of the better. Yeah, that makes
sense eighteens or nineteen.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
I just think there's a ton of points in that game.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Uh, wide receiver Justin Jefferson is eighty one hundred, Mike
Evans seventy nine hundred. Doesn't he's gonna get latim work. Yeah, yeah,
Nico Collins seventy eight hundred, Puka Nakua seventy six hundred. Yeah,
they're thirty second against opposing wide receivers.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
He's gonna be a first round pick in every fancy
lead next year. I still think he's being slept on
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
They kind of manufacture stuff for him like they did
with cup Win couple.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Better player even I thought he was as a rookie.
I'm a big believer.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
AJ brown Is seventy five hundred, Lad McConkie sixty eight hundred,
Courtland Sutton.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
He avoid Stingley a fair amount.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Sixty six hundred, four Sutton sixty five hundred for Terry McLaurin.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
I don't mind that.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Cooper cupp Is sixty four hundred, George Pickens sixty three hundred.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
You can convince me on that one.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Jordan Addison sixty one hundred, Devonte Smith fifty seven hundred.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
What kind of budget were are looking at here? We
haven't gone super expensive.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
We have three spots open. We got six thousand dollars
per spot. We had eighteen thousand, one hundred dollars. We
need two more receivers and two receivers in a flex.
Jayden Reid fifty five hundred, Romeo Dobbs fifty four hundred,
Khalil Shakir fifty three hundred, Jalen McMillan fifty two hundred.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
What do you think certain will do?

Speaker 2 (11:10):
We won't go to the slot with Shakir.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
So maybe you put him may they probably just play sides.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Maybe I've heard a lot of buzz about Amari Cooper's
looking great, but maybe you just put him on Cooper
and do the maybe Porter Bateman thing.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Cooper's forty nine hundred.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Kind of appealing.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Bateman is five thousand.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
I don't really do it. Bateman.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
Marvin mims Is fifty one hundreds has been really good lately.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
Yeah, you click on him super quick. I think his
points have been quite strong.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Last If you look at his game log last few
he had twenty two points against Kansas City. Yeah, I know,
thirty thirty three point two against Cincinnati, nine and a
half against the Chargers, six against Indianapolis, and twenty two
point nine against.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
They throw him bubbles, they get him involved.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
I don't have a problem. I mean that allows us cheap, right,
if we go with him he is fifty one hundred.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
That allows us to really budget.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yeah, or we use him in the in the flex whatever.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Yeah, I don't care where he ends either way. I
think he's a value at that.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Zikaias is forty four hundred.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
I think he's clearly the two as well, and he
has some after the catch stuff. Is there any huge
one you want? Jefferson or I'm already wanting the Coupa.
But we could we go real cheap of those guys.
We could get a big dog.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
McLaurin is interesting, Yeah, Pickens is interesting.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yeah. I think not much over budget though.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Are they?

Speaker 3 (12:30):
No?

Speaker 2 (12:31):
I think McConkie is interesting.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Yeah, I prefer the other two over mconkey. But I
can't hear you. Well, if we put Pickens and McLaurin in,
what kind of money would be afloating?

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Okay, let's see what it looks like McLaurin and Pickens,
we'd have fifty three hundred left and that would get
us Khalil Shakir, Jalen McMillan, Javonte Williams, Marvin Mims at
fifty one hundred.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
I think mems the best of those.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
All right, let's plug that into flex and we have
two hundred dollars left over.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Worth bumping up from the Steeler d.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Well, we have Jalen Warren and George Pickens in our lineup?
Do we want to be that? And the Steelers defense?
We won't be that? Steeler centric not ideally? Which one
would you want to move on from?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Who's two hundred bucks more than Pickens?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Two hundred dollars more than Pickens would get you two?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Cooper cup I don't want both there. Yeah, we've already
got much rather, I'm kind of married.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Okay, two hundred dollars more than Jalen Warren doesn't get
you anybody more than two hundred more than the Steelers
defense gets you to the Broncos defense.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
I guess it's better. I mean, if that's last resort.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
They just don't get sacked. They're not going to get sacks.
Necessarily Josh All, it does not take Sax. Yeah, I
might rather Steeler.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
D I think so too, But we think that's a
low scoring game, and we got two Steeler offensive players.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah, yeah, I'm just looking here. What else we can
pay up two hundred dollars more than McLaurin.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
How about this move? What if we take out Warren
put in McLaughlin do you like? Okay? And then who's cheaper?
Who's that gives us more to spend to move up
from Pickens? No stealer offense.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Now we have five hundred dollars to move up. Let
me see, let me see what that gets us from Mims. Okay, yeah,
that could be a right, it gets us Jaden Reid,
Romeo Dobs Kalio secure, Jalen Warren.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
I'd rather Warren the Mems.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
He's gonna okay, And we still turn four hundred dollars left.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
If we do that, who's four hundred more than Pickens,
or even six hundred more than Pickens in case we
want to stick with Mems.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Four hundred more than Pickens, we'll get you to Courtland Sutton?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Good, but what Mams Sutton?

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yeah, Now we're now we're loading up on the Denver things.
So put Pickens back in and to four hundred more
than the Steeler defense gets you, gets you to the Packers.
You love that one? What about doesn't Daniels four hundred
more than Hawkins Hawkinson gets you? Ertz or Friarmouth That

(15:21):
doesn't do us.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
Any youth doesn't get you?

Speaker 2 (15:23):
About four hundred more than Stafford, that's some ascot does
get me to Daniels? That gets us to Herbert?

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Or do you like the hookup?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
How about four hundred more than Bucky Irving?

Speaker 3 (15:40):
How about or four and more than McLaurin.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Four hundred more than McLaurin should get you, That gets
you lab mconkey.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Who would rather have Bucks D's rough? Bucks d is rough?

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Houston's twentieth against opposing wide receivers too. They're not great,
And I don't think Stingley will follow him.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
No, but I don't think i'd move off McLaurin for him.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Mconkie in his last four game, their last five games
sixteen point five, twenty nine point four, fourteen point seven,
sixteen point eight, twenty three point seven.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Consistency's pretty awesome.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Pretty good. McLaurin in the last five games.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
We played full time last week? I don't know.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, twenty point two one point five against Atlanta on
seven targets it won cats for five yards seventeen against Philadelphia,
twenty six point three against New Orleans, and twenty seven
point three against Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
How crazy would it be to try to get both
them in the lineup?

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Take pickens out.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Yeah, and go cheap at flex.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Let me see what let me see what that looks
like here. So if we take it, if we go
mconkie and we go McLaurin, we can't even afford to
let me take the flex out?

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Yeah, yeah, Can we find a cheap flex to make
that work?

Speaker 2 (16:54):
And we go McLaurin at the wide receiver spot. That
leaves us fifty We should be to find fifty one
flex Javonte Williams, Marvin Mims, Mems works out great, There
you go fifty one hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Okay, it's a good puzzle.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Okay. Uh So that does give us Julia McLaughlin and
Marvin Mims. But I don't really have a problem with
that necessarily.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
No, No, that's I don't think they can shut out. No,
I don't either, right, I don't either and those are
manufactured Sean Payton.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Touch, guys, we pivoted from having three Steelers in our
lineup only having the Steelers defense.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
I don't think either one of us is gonna pick
that game to be forty to thirty eight. No, no,
all right.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
So what we have is Matthew Stafford at fifty seven
hundred dollars at the quarterbacks. He might Bucky Irving at
seven thousand, and Julia McLaughlin at forty nine hundred at
the running back position, Phokin the Kua, Lad Mconkie, Terry
McLaurin at that is a.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Very good group.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
Uh at the wide receiver position, t J. Hawkinson at
tight end, Marvin Mims at fifty one hundred in the
flex spot, and the Steelers defense.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Sign me up.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
There we go walking in the bus.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Spare right.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
No, that was dead even, perfect way to put together
that puzzle.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Okay, good puzzle.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
There we go. That's what we got this weekend. Folks.
Play it if you like, don't play it. Hopefully it
gives you some insight into what we think is gonna
happen in those games. We're gonna look at all the
games when we come back after this. He is Matt Williamson.
I am Dale Lolli. You're listening to the Drive here
on the Steelers Audio Network.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
Is the Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt Williamson show
on your twenty four to seven Home of the Black
and Gold Steelers Nation Radio, and.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
We are back. I'm Dale Lolli. He is the Matt Williamson.
This is the Drive on the Steelers Audio Network. And
of course you can hear the Drive every Monday through
Friday from four to six pm right here on these
very airwaves where you're listening now, or you can download
these Deeler's mobile app and get the directly on your
phone that day. Of course, there's some other outlets out

(19:06):
there that you can podcast. Yeah, subscribe there, we like
that h and also you can watch and listen on
YouTube and leave us your comments. And before we get
into the game, so some people have questioned, well, you
said that the Steelers, you know, they you know, couldn't
release Scotty Miller because the message it would send. You

(19:27):
couldn't release Scotty Miller to do that to bring Roman Wilson,
I'll pivot to pivot to Wilson, who has done nothing
in the NFL to this point, he's played five NFL snaps.
But when you get into a playoff game, a playoff situation,
which is what the Steelers are in this week, and
you have a situation at another position, and this always

(19:50):
happens in the NFL, you may need a let's say
you need a wide receiver for this game. That doesn't
mean you're going to just trade wide receiver for wide receiver. No,
it's often another position that you have to steal somebody from.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
It's it's always hard on like Danny Smith, you know.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, those last those guys who are on your inactive list,
for example on a Saturday, are all expendable in a
situation like this, not for long, not for long. And
so if you're going to be one of those guys
and all the other wide receivers are healthy, then Scottie
Miller is the guy who gets bumped because the Steelers
are probably going to activate or elevate an offensive line.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Line, like remember last year when they were going through
safeties and linebackers like crazy. Yeah, what doesn't mean you
cut Minka right, You're still waiting for those dudes to
come back. But we need a safety to get.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
And so somebody in another position, who's.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
Last receiver or something like that, or ends up.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Being the one who bites the bullet on that situation.
It's not pretty, it's not ideal.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
The other choice was louder Milk or whatever I'm missinking of.
Like who else could even been up for it? There's
not many.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
But you don't necessarily cut a guy to elevate another
guy at one for one. It's not a one for one,
or he'd be ahead of one. The depth start already,
and there's a difference between cutting a guy for somebody
that you absolutely have to have to have enough guys
to play at a position.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
Like if a guard gets hurt, we don't have a guard, right, Yeah,
I said Cam hayword to play guard. That's not good.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Right, one of your tight ends is playing Darnel Washington
is now playing tackle and the guard kicks it. No,
that's not ideal.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Then you lose.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Yeah, but you're not going to do that for a
guy in you know and Frankly Miller's fifth receiver. Yeah,
he's the number five receiver, right.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
The chance you can survive not having him there on game.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Day, yeah, as opposed to you know, Roman Wilson, who's
played five NFL snaps. There's no track record there. It's
not like you're bringing back if Cole Holcomb. If they
needed a linebacker this week, they would have brought Cole
Holcomb back.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Yeah, but you have a track record. But you know
what you're going to get in cutting Peyton Wilson. They
might have cut a safety. Yeah, it wouldn't have been
a lineback.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Probably wouldn't even been Mark Robinson because he's a key
special teamer, Right, that's just the way that works. Maybe
would be alignment if they were Richard oh Liman. Yeah. Anyways, Yeah,
it's getting to need an emergency holder. Well, somebody else
is gonna to do somebody else is gonna have to
do it. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Looking at this week's games, the first game on Saturday, interesting,
as I mentioned yesterday that all the AFC games are first,
yeah and then always off.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Yeah, they're lead off Ricky Anderson.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Yeah, just not as good, but.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Not as good.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
The fifth seeded Chargers are at the four seeded Texans.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
The Chargers favored by three, the over under forty two
and a half in this game.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
I'm not anticipating a ton of points. I do have
a lot of respect for Houston's defense, but nineteen interceptions
this year. They yeah, I mean their second most in
the orders. Their dns or strong. I'm sure Harbaugh's gonna
try to attack the middle of that defense, Okay, but
they don't. They're not super loaded at guard to guard
or the running backs are pretty average. Their weapons aren't great.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Yeah, I mean the Chargers wide receivers are a little
banged up. All that we like like Mconkey, Yes, because
again I think it's away from Stingley in the in
the slot.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
But I also think that man, they're gonna have a
hard time block in the Chargers and they have a
lot of problems on offense, and I don't think Stroud's
one of them, but he's suffering because of it. I
think I'll take the Chargers, but I don't feel real
strong about this one since number is a good one.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Since Week nine, when they lost Stefan Dicks with the
torn ACL, the Texans ranked twenty seventh in offensive EPA
per play. Then they lost Tank Dell.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, I'm say it's only gotten worse.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
It's only gotten worse. They run the ball year, They're
gonna probably end up having to use Deontay Johnson In
this game, it's.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Gonna be Mechigan Johnson and Hodgepodge. Yeah, I mean a
hodgepodge of nothingness. And like, I love Nico, but how
much tension he's gonna get a lot? Yeah, I mean
he's gonna be doubled all the time.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
But that was the for people wondering. That was what
Boston Dennis acretly said about the Pirates lineup a couple
of years ago. They were throwing a hodgepodge of nothingness
out on the field. Well that's kind of where the
Texans are at right now with their wide receiver bit.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
It was supposed to be the strength of the team.
Take you.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
You've got a great one in Nico Collins.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yes, he's gonna have to be a dominant player in
this game. Yeah. I don't think Carball's gonna let that slide.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
No, who you got?

Speaker 3 (24:17):
I like?

Speaker 2 (24:18):
I like the Chargers just much the same way I
would have liked the Steelers going there.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
Yeah. Yeah, I think Houston's the weakest playoff team. Yeah,
you have some fatal flaws.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Yeah, and I think they lose that one. Moving on
to the Sunday games, you got the seventh seeded Broncos
at the number two Bills Buffalo favored by eight, the
over under forty seven and a half.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
I like the points. I still think Buffalo wins. I
wish Denver's running game was better, but they are a
physical line and they'll move people, and I think their
weapons have come along. I don't love betting on a
rookie Quarterbrookie.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
A rookie quarterback in the NFL making his first playoff start,
has not won since twenty fifteen. They're like zero and five,
But the fact.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
That it's over a touchdown is enough for me because
I think Denvers d is really good.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
It is if if the Broncos could do what the
Bills defense struggles to stop, which is the running game better.
They're not a good running team. They're not They're not
even a volume running team.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
So everyone on the planet that does mock drafts has
genet from Boise State going to Denver or going to Dallas.
I think Denver should be honest, like that's.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
What they don't get it. The kids from North Carolina
would be would be great too.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
He's a good player as well, a bigger physical Teohm
Payton type in Pittsburgh. He would He's a really good player,
but I would be anxious to get it back if
I were them.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
Yeah, they that's what they need. And I love Javonte
Williams coming out, but he's not the same player. The
injury has robbed him of the what the great thing
that he had coming in was his contact balance in hisicality.
He just doesn't have that anym No, he didn't have
any bursts at all.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Now he's gonna be free agent after the year, and
I think his contract will tell you all you need. No,
it's not going to be pretty. I don't know it'd
be like Dobbins, but it'll be low.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yeah, yeah, for sure. But I like the Bills to
win that one outright. And I think if I had
to pick a winner or pick the number, I think.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
I'd take Buffalo. Would you I would? I went over
the over a touchdown. What are we hearing about weather
in Buffalo? I'm sure be something. There'll be something.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
Yeah, yeah, but I just go back to the rookie
quarterback thing. And I understand Buffalo or you know that
the the Denver defense is good, I don't know that's
going to carry them past a lot. Yeah, you got
the seventh seeded Packers at the number two seeded Eagles

(26:47):
Philadelphia favored by four and a half, the over under
forty five and a half. These two teams met in
Week one in Rio de Janeiro, and I believe that.
Oh yeah, I believe that was a thirty three to
twenty nine game. Something weird. It was a weird scored
game in that game. Yeah, that was.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
What'd you say? Spread in this one is four and
a half. Hurts has been cleared. I assume Love is
going to play. I don't think Jerry Alexander's will play.
I know WAT team.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Jerry Alexander hasn't played in months. I don't even think
he's an NFL player at this point.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Yeah. I worry about their corner situation against Brown and
Smith and Goddard. I don't know if they'll throw the
ball a ton, but they have so many weapons. I
think the Eagles kind of roll them. I'll take the points,
really I will. Again, as I mentioned, the Eagles have
lost outright their last three wild card games, including last
year to Tampa Bay. Yeah, and there's an old axiom

(27:37):
in when you're looking at the point spreads, never bet
on a quarterback coming back. Can cuss quarterback coming back
in his first game back. Little foggy, Little foggy, and
that also it doesn't take into account guys who missed
multiple weeks, which is what hate hurts. Yeah, it could
take him a little while to warm up to this one.
And I understand they have Saquon Barkley and that helps line.

(27:58):
That helps you kind of alleviate some of that quick decisions.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
Yeah, the Eagles want to throw early to run late.
They're they're like the most they're the heaviest second half
run team by far in the league. Oh yeah, yeah,
like they they only throw the ball like twenty five
thirty percent of the time in the second half of
games because they want to throw the ball early and
they get leads. Yeah, I don't. I think this is

(28:23):
a closer game. I think the Eagles win it. That's
a tough place to play. Oh yeah, I'll take I'll
take the four and a half Eagles.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Really good.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
It's good, it's really good.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
He's really good. But he's also coming off an injury too.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Green Bay's defense isn't bad either.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
No, it's not. They rushed past for pretty well. Cooper's
been really good in Sechona level.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Uh, you have these six seeded Commanders at the third
seeded Buccaneers. Tampa Bay favored by three the over under
fifty and a half. This one, to me might be
the easiest game of the weekend over over over over
over over over. And I'll take Tampa Bay at home.

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Me too, Me too. I don't think Washington's ready.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Yeah, and three points.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Is Tampa's had a lot of a playoff experience lately.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
You know, they know how to win in these issues.
They've they've been the giant killer this year.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Yep, they have no line. I mean, I trust Bakers.
I don't know about that. I don't know if I
go that far, but good point. Neither defense is very good. Yeah.
I just say Washington's playing with house money and they're
they've screamed one and done to me.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Yeah, I just think it's it's it's a situation where
the Buccaneers will be the more potent team.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
I had him, sound great. I think that's one of
the easiest choices of the week. Yeah, and over over over.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
And then the Monday night game, which has been moved
to Arizona, the fifth seeded Vikings are at the four
seeded Rams. The Vikings favored by two and a half,
the over under forty seven and a half. This is
maybe the biggest toss up game to me of the week.

Speaker 3 (29:51):
I have such respect for McVeigh and Stafford, and I
think the week off is really really big. I don't
know what to think about that. The issue is going
on their hometown.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
That's the thing. That's the issue that I don't have. Like,
how many of these guys had to worry about their
families being moved out of that area.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
And I think everybody knew somebody probably yeah, you know,
I'm in friends or acquaintances or whatever. I mean, it's
just bad things happening for football.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
And it doesn't affect Minnesota one way or the other. Like, Okay,
I still think they're really good, and I think there'll
be a lot of Vikings fans who just say there.
There's probably Vikings fans in Phoenix, people who moved to
Phoenix and get just hey, we're gonna go out and
watch the Flakes. Ye know it was gonna be here,
but we're gonna go.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
I'm gonna take the Vikes. I mean, if if last
week doesn't happen, this line is bigger. Yeah, And I
get that last week happened, but Fikes are still pretty good.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Football over under forty seven and a half is very appealing.
I think there'll be some points in this game.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
Jefferson. What's their answer for Jefferson Not much?

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Not much. And if that's the case, if you're gonna
double him, then you got Addison on the other, you
got Hawkinson who he's like. I think this is up
and down the field, and I think Stafford I.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Think both seems to throw. The more I think about it,
you can keep I think a cup Stafford. I mean,
we've took a lot of these guys for defense.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
I think Stafford is going to keep up. But I
think I think I think the Vikings win.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Yeah, I just think they're better.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah. So that's where we think everything is at. We've
got one game left to talk about this week, Matt,
and that will be the one that's going to be
played in Baltimore at eight o'clock Saturday night. Be there
or be square. I will be there on the site
watching the Steelers and Ravens. Matt and I will let
you know who we think is going to win that game.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Right after this.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Is the drive with Dale, Lolly and Matt Williamson on
your twenty four to seven Home of the Black and
Gold Steelers Nation Radio.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
And we are back. I am Dale Lolly. He is
the Matt Williamson and game we've been talking about all week.
Matt the six seeded Steelers at the third seeded Ravens
eight o'clock Saturday, and the game will be locally shown
on WPXI, nationally on on Prime Video so Amazon Prime.

(32:17):
So Ravens favored by nine and a half, the over
under forty three and a half.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Is the early game on Prime too. I think both
of them are on Prime.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
Are they both on Prime?

Speaker 3 (32:28):
No?

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Early game of CBS and Mount Plus. So there you go.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
You're gonna leave it off, Sure, yeah, I'll take it away.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
All right. So we've talked all week long about the
Zay Flowers issue or the Ravens. I think it's a
huge factor in this game. I've gone back and forth.
Well early in the week I felt one way about
this one. I thought Jay Flowers would find a way
to No, they just get back into this game.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
I will tell you. On that Thursday night show last night,
Merril couldn't talk enough about how much that hurts.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
He is a tremend I don't know if I don't
know if everybody understands how he affects that offense, especially
with the quick game, and the quick game is huge,
and I don't know that everybody understands. Like one of
the things that the Ravens did to the Steelers in
the second meeting was they manned up and took away
those quick throws from from my Russell Wilson game because.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
They could because.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
There was no George Pickens. So you're training a queen
for a queen here exactly, like they don't have their
guy and you got your guy back. Compared to the last.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
Meeting, they're almost equally important.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Yeah, Like if if if George Pickens were not playing
in this game, it would be a massive loss for
the Steelers as it was as it was during that stretch,
you know. So I think that's a huge factor in
this game. I think the Steelers defense being completely healthy
is another factor. I don't understand the bread is where

(34:01):
I'm going with this. I don't understand this game being
a nine and a half point game, because despite what
the Steelers were missing in that last game, this game
was seventeen to seventeen in a third quarter, even even
Stephen and the Steelers would have been ahead had they
not had the fumble inside the four, and the Ravens
weren't missing much. The Ravens were missing nothing. The Steelers

(34:24):
were obviously the much more injured team going into that game.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
They were recently coming off of bye. They were healthy,
you know.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Yeah, and then there's the pressure on Lamar Jackson. Jackson's
two and four in the postseason, six interceptions in six games,
and he's lost three fumbles in his playoff life. Again,
can the Steelers win this game? Yes, I think they
can do to. I don't think it's the monumental task

(34:53):
that everybody's well again, they're looking at the points break
nine and a half. Vegas doesn't think they're going to
win it.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Yeah, don't even play it, you know right.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
I don't understand that. I think all the pressures on Baltimore.
They're the team that's supposed to win. They're the team
that's been, you know, picked by many to go to
the Super Bowl. Ah, the hell with it, you're doing it.
I'm doing it. Steelers win twenty to seventeen.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
I have the same score, but not with a Steeler victory.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
I could see it going either way either way.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
What's funny is you know, for DK Sports, I just
do like three sentences with my prediction, and yesterday morning
I put it in at twenty four to seventeen. Originally
I was going to put it at twenty seven to seventeen.
Now I'm at twenty seventeen. Like I keep coming more
and more towards.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
All the outside All the outside factors favor the Steelers, yes,
all the injury information favors of Steelers.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
And penalties and special teams. In terms of all favors
of Steelers, Raven Steelers.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Lamar Jackson, history favors of Steelers right, like the pressure
is on him.

Speaker 3 (35:56):
I think Russell Wilson's a better player than we've seen.
I mean, I think his playoff experience is important. I
think the defense is taking it personally, you know, listening
to Watt last night on that Thursday show, I'm like,
this d's going to come to play.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
And I could tell you for you would not have
been able to tell this week whether the Steelers run
a twelve game winning streak or a four game losing streak.
They were as loose as a group as I've seen
heading into a game this big.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Yeah, I bet and.

Speaker 2 (36:31):
I just think they feel like and I thought Watt
was really He's like, look, we we have the group now.
With the group here, this is the same group that
went ten and three early, you know, in the first
thirteen games of.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
The season, one of which was a victory over the Ravens.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
One of which was a victory over the Ravens. Yeah,
that game was eighteen to sixteen. It really wasn't that
People look at that go you know, they barely beat
the Ravens. Game wasn't that close.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
They were the better team.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
They were the better team. They held the ball for
thirty seven minutes in that game, went up and down
the field. Yeah, they kicked six few goals, but they
were in scoring because they had eleven I think eleven
possessions in that game and scored on six of them.
And they threw the interception in the end zone on
the other one. So seven times they got into scoring
range against that Ravens.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
A goad seven. And they moved the ball.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
Despite only you know, despite what happened down in Baltimore
the first this the first time around here. They had
well over three hundred yards of total offense in that game,
they moved the football.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
So you mentioned one of my concerns though, time of possession.
Time of possession, I mean, could the Steelers have thirty
three times minutes in this game? Yes, but I thought
they would against the Bengals, you know, like I think
that's so.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I just think the game playing against the Bengals was so.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
I hope they can maintain offense, get more first downs,
run the football for four to six yards of pop.
You know. That's where I my reservations are. I mean,
I think the defense is going to keep it close.
I bet turnover special teams penalties works in your favor.
There's a lot of cliches in this business, but this

(38:09):
is a throw the records out type of game. I
think most of the time people say that you really
don't you know, just one team probably better than the other.
But I think in this instance, third meeting in this
month and it means this much, I think it's gonna
be a really close game. And by the way I've
been doing my predictions, if we talked about tomorrow, it
might be twenty seventeen Steelers. I keep I guess see

(38:31):
change in every day that I don't think it's going
to be a ten point win. I don't think they're
going to cover the spread.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
The Ravens were flagged good. The Ravens were flagged for
offensive holding twenty nine times during the regular season, the
third most in the league. They had none in that
game in Baltimore. Earlier this year, despite running the ball
a bunch. Yeah, yeah, nobody held for a team that

(38:56):
was third in the league. They averaged more than they
averaged more almost two holding penalties per game, but had
none in that game. Miraculously.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
You're probably aware of this. I wasn't until last night.
But that's the only good game Derreck Henry's ever had
in his career against Steelers.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
They've done a good job.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
It's been like six games and he averages like seventy
yards a game.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
If they want to go in there and shut down
Derrick Henry, you never again shut down a big one shutdown,
but for what he usually does, takes over a game.
You can do that. And now that the Ravens are
missing their biggest passing.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
That's the thing. I think there'd be a lot of
run blitzes, a lot of crowd in the line of scrimmage,
you know.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
And you have guys that can again. Mark Andrews had
never caught a touchdown pass against the Steelers in ten
games until the last one. We're missing all those pieces
on defense. He was on fire that his streak of
touchdowns included the earlier meeting against the Steelers when he
didn't score. He had two catches in that game.

Speaker 3 (39:55):
I like Elliott being back in this game a lot man,
the Queen Elliott thing. I think it's real. I can't
wait for it.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
I think it's gonna be a great football game. I
think it can go either way. I think it's much
closer to a fifty to fifty game than it is
the Bill. The Ravens are gonna win this ninety five
percent of the time. I don't see it. The Steelers
have one for the last five down there, yeah five
of the last seven five yeah, five, and the last
seven in Baltimore. They're not going to be intimidated going

(40:24):
into Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (40:25):
Getting ahead of myself. But if the Ravens squeak this
one out and the Bills blow out the Broncos, I'm
gonna pick the Ravens in Baltimore. Oh yeah. In Buffalo, Yeah,
I mean like it's a bad matchup Buffalo, but this one.
I mean, I have great respect for the Ravens. They
could win the whole thing, but this might be other
than going to Kansas City. It's this is the challenges

(40:46):
are gonna have.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I said it earlier in the week. This is this
is the game when when the when the Ravens won
and then everything happened and they're like, ugh, Harper Harbor.

Speaker 3 (40:53):
I had to be like, Man, couldn't I get the Texans?
Or yeah, right, I get my brother, I get Tom?

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Can we have got Denver?

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Right?

Speaker 2 (41:00):
I blew the earlier this year?

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Haven't we earned that? Right? Now? I got this? You know,
It's bad way to lead off the playoffs for.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Them all week long thinking about man, Tom was going
to turn this into a rock fight.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
No question. Yeah, I got the deal with Cam Hayward and
Watt and all these dudes and people.

Speaker 2 (41:16):
People may complain about Tom and turning games like this
into a rock fight, that's an art. It's an art,
and he does it because they're good at it, and
he does it because this is how they've They've won
so many games against the Ravens. Yeah, yeah, they've won
some high scoring affairs against the Ravens. But they typically
turned this game into a rock fight.

Speaker 3 (41:36):
This has been in his prime with a B and
Lev it's a different strategy, but you still might be
a rock fighter. Still. We saw that, and of course,
but yeah, you wouldn't go in there saying let's muddy
this thing up to no end. And I can't wait.
I think it's going to be maybe the best game
of the weekend.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
And you get into the third quarter, in even early
fourth order of this game, and it's a one score
game one way or the other, or much tighter than
the other if it's a tie game, and all again,
you're putting those thoughts into lamars s head. Oh man,
if I lose this one, I'm two and five in
the playoffs and turn it over. Yeah, right, And I
just think.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
I could see a Raven team pucker or not he talks.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
About, you know, I get too antsy in the playoffs.
That's not what you want to hear out of your.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
Quarterback, Tucker being like, I better make this kick. You know.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Yeah, I'm the same guy. I just again I was
back in look.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
Like you are down to the wire and who you're
gonna pick? Right, I hear?

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Yeah, I almost did it. But couldn't quite pull the trigger.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
But I don't think this is a nine and a
half point game, No, no, no, I would be surprised.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
I'd be very surprised, very surprised if it's a nine
and a half point game either way.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
Well, yeah, or a non competitive game would really really
really surprise me, just because of what the Ravens are
missing and what the Steelers have available. I also like
that more of the Zay Flowers effect. Only talked about
a lot this week that I like that the Steelers
are gonna have heavy personnel on the field. Preston Smith
plays a little more, Benton plays a little more. Those

(43:06):
are good players, right, Those three linebackers are out there
more than you know.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Maybe is your extra guy and run around and make
a play.

Speaker 3 (43:14):
Yeah that means less Beanie and Suton and means more Benton. Yeah,
absolutely right, yeah, right, absolutely absolutely get my best eleven
out there, and I think it's a big people. The
Steelers defensive front is a huge advantage against Baltimore's offensive line. Yes,
Alex high Smith has shown over the years he can

(43:35):
beat Ronnie Stanley absolutely, and Ronnie.

Speaker 2 (43:39):
Stanley has played well this year. Yeah, yeah, better than
he has in previous years, high Smith still beat him
for stripsack the last game.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
He might be the better player in a vacuum.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Really good player, yeah, really good player. Let alone some
of the other matchups that you you now have.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
There too, stripsack or two or base two strip sack.
Seems like it's not inevident, but quite likely. They do it.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
They do it to Lamar every time they'll play out there.
Yet every time they play.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
And they know it's going to be absolutely can't wait.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
We'll be back on Monday one way or the other to.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
The pregame show for the first hour. You're doing it
after that too, the pre pregame show, and then but
we'll be back Monday to break it down. I'm wrong.

Speaker 2 (44:19):
Yeah, we'll see. We'll see whether we're talking about a
playoff win, a playoff loss, whether the Steelers are going
to could be going to Kansas City, could be going
to Buffalo. Actually, I don't know if they can go
to Buffalo because that means somebody else behind them. Well,
I guess they could if everybody know they just still win.
If Houston wins, they still go.

Speaker 3 (44:38):
To I guess Denver wins, you can't go to Buffalo. Right, Yeah, yeah,
that's what you're saying. Yeah, so you can't go to
Buffalo good you have bad memories there anyway.

Speaker 2 (44:46):
Yeah, but you could go to Houston.

Speaker 3 (44:48):
That won't be bad. Take a chance in Kansas City too, Yeah. Right,
So let's see where We'll see where it goes. It's
gonna be an interesting weekend. Playoffs, baby playoffs.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
If you can't get fired up about the playoffs, I
don't care what it's the Ravens, it's raven Steelers. You
get a third opportunity to watch the Steelers and the
Ravens play each other. Doesn't get much better, doesn't It
really doesn't. Well, we're here absolutely uh. Anyways, that's going
to do it for our shows this week. For my
partner Matt Williamson, for Justin Miller here on site running

(45:19):
