Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Vison's Daily Morning Bens.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Here's your host, Matt Humans and West Reynolds, Right.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
WESN You gonna start out with the Boston Celtics. Celics
are on the road against Milwaukee. Here. Boston has clinched
the best record in the NBA in the home court
advantage sixty two and sixteen one, five in a row.
How about the mess Doc Rivers has made of the
Bucks last week? They dropped three games in a row
as double digit favorites. M and in the Bucks ree group.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Here, Yeah, and the Buck look they're trying to hang
on number two seed. They also got beat by the
Knicks on Sunday. So the Bucks at forty seven and
thirty one just a one game lead over Orlando and
New York. Cleveland has fallen off. They had a couple
of bad performances over the weekend and they're now fifth
at forty six and thirty three. Gotta look at the
injury deals here. Al Horford may not go, Christaps Porzingis

(00:53):
could be arrest Jason Tatum looks like he is gonna go.
But that's what the Celtics are doing. Like one or
two guys may set out a game where or Brown
might be out one night, or Tatum might be out
one night. Janna is questionable with that hamstring, and that's
why you're not seeing a lot of movement in the line.
There's a part of me that would want to take
the Bucks here, just buying low on this team as

(01:14):
a home dog with the Celtics havn't clinched everything and
possible resting the players. Where the Bucks look, they're still
playing for a seed and they've been bad over over
the last week or so, you know, like you mentioned,
losing the double digit favorites three games in a row,
so Lean Bucks, I got to see where this number
is going to go though.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Yeah, Celtic's two point favorites here and now. Jill Mizzoula
last week against the Kings, I don't know if you
saw this. It was a Friday night, Saturday. He pulled
all his starters, put reserves in at the end in
the King Friday. Kings went on a twenty to one run,
getting the back door cover that and almost win the game.
It was one to one to one hundred.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, the guy that had to get I think it
was Xavier Tillman that got the winning basket. Down the stretch. Yeah,
some of these bench guys really struggled. I started Sam Hauser,
who's a really good shooter. Sam Houser one of eighteen
from the floor in that game Friday night, one of
thirteen from the three. So if he had the Peyton
Pritchards assist, prop blame Sam Hauser because he bricked about

(02:18):
ten of those.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Brutal All right, Clippers and Sons in Phoenix and Suns
minus seven on the DraftKings don't put her total two
twenty five and a half. I see some seven and
a half's out there too.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, Clippers two games up in the fourth spot. That's
probably as high as they're going to get with four
games left, two games ahead of Dallas. Phoenix, by the way,
now forty six and thirty two, so they are in
the sixth spot. They would beat New Orleans with the tiebreaker.
New Orleans, by the way, beat Phoenix out there in
the Valley of the Sun on Sunday one thirteen to
one oh five. So you know, playoff positioning for seeding.

(02:53):
This line has gone up to six and a half
because Kawhi has already been ruled out, Nurkic questionable with
the little issue for Phoenix, but with Kawhi being ruled out,
I think this was three and a half on the opener,
and now you're seeing as high as seven and a
half at circa.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Okay, Warriors and Lakers, and we know this has implications.
Lakers two and a half point favorites. Now Anthony Davis
went down to an injury. I assume he's out here.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
He had something with he had something with his eye,
but he's not listed as out as of yet. But yeah, yeah,
I got poked in the eye. I believe that the
Timberwolves won last night on Sunday Night one twenty seven
to one seventeen. Lebron did not go in that game.
By the way, the Timberwolves right in that mix for
the number one seed with Denver and Oksee, so Ad

(03:39):
only played twelve minutes because of the eye issue and
then Lebron did not play. So Lakers currently though two
and a half here. So Warriors, look, they they've just
been stuck, Matt. They can't get out of that ten
spot because the Lakers had kind of moved up and
then they lost a couple of games and now it's
the nine to ten match up again. Lakers by the
way uh game and a half ahead of the Warriors,

(04:02):
Lakers and the nine Warriors in the ten, so Wiggins
likely he's going to go for Golden State. So Golden
State should be at full strength here. But the market,
based on the fact that they're two and a half,
they at least think Lebron is going to go and
potentially ad.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Le Bron's actually been playing really well. Absolutely, yeah, Ad,
I guess this number is telling you he's going to
play out, Yeah, because.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
This seems right here at two and a half, you know,
home because these two teams I think are pretty much even.
So you know, if you think home court advantage, if
you want to defaulted at three points, and that's pretty
much where it is right now.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
All Right, Sacramento and Okay see Thunder open five and
a half point favorites. Total of two to twenty eight
fourteen games on the NBA card on Tuesday, after the
Association took Monday night off.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Sga has been out for a few games for Oklahoma
City and there's still only one game back of Minnesota
and Denver, but he is going to be back. We'll
see if Jada of Jalen Williams is going to be
back because he's been out for a couple of games
as well. For Oklahoma City, as you know, five and five,
though they basically went five hundred without those two guys. Meanwhile,

(05:09):
Sacramento about the same five and five. Sacramento, by the way,
is in the eighth spot right now forty five and
thirty three. They're just one game ahead of the Lakers.
So look, you would rather be in that seven eight, obviously,
because even if you lose, you get one more chance
play the winner of that nine to ten. You don't
want to be in that nine ten because that is
a one and done scenario in these playoffs. So with

(05:30):
SGA being ruled back, it's now back. It's up to
five five and a half. I think it was like
two and a half on the opener, So maybe a
small lean to the under here at two twenty nine,
but as of now, no play for me.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
All right, let's go to baseball. The Marlins are one
and ten. They lost seven zero to the Yankees on Monday.
Carlos Rodon is going to go minus one ninety two
total of eight, and I guess it's tough to bet
to Marlins right now, but I don't want to lay
this with Dan. He's made two starts for the Yankees,
nine and two thirds innings, twelve hits, He's gonna whip

(06:05):
a one point seven to six and has allowed two
home runs. I can't trust him.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
He's just not going deep enough in the games. Now, obviously,
the Yankee bullpen should be rested, being that Aaron Boone
puts an extra court has out for the eighth and
am I'm just not gonna let that go by way.
I am upset. That shit perturbed me.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
So somebody needs to question Aaron Boone about that. Gee.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
You would think the New York sports media would do that,
but but seemingly not. Uh uh. Maybe the over here
with Rodin not going deep in the games. Aj Puk,
you know, has got some good stuff, but he's a reliever.
He hasn't really gone deep in his starts. He's just
used to being a starting pitcher. So look, Yankee Yankees
have been hit and all of a sudden, it seems

(06:46):
like Judge is broken out of his slump. Sodo has
been pretty good all season, Stanton breaking out of his slump.
So uh, Yankees only nine hits a night, but they'd
have seven runs. Soto with the three run shot, the
Kid Volpe with three run shots, so they're starting to hit.
I would look over here before i'd look anything with
the side.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Well, if you want to lay a big price, say
you don't want to deal with the Yankees, would you
do it with the Dodgers minus one seventy five. Tyler
Glass Now starting for the Dodgers at Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Yeah, Look, Glasnow has been solid so far this year.
I think that they're kind of you know, I don't
I don't want to say baby and him, but you know,
they're they're bringing him along slowly, which I think is
smart just in the fact that you know, the Dodgers
got some depth issues with it with their starting pitching.
So yeah, do you really want to waste Tyler Glass
now and have him go seven innings or even anywhere

(07:36):
past six? Probably not. So you know, look at the
recorded outs prop see if they give you eighteen and
a half, and perhaps I'll look to the under with
Tyler Glass now here. Twins have kind of been off
to a struggle to start the season, though.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
One more game to throw in here Baltimore and Boston
Red Sox. It might interest me here his home dogs
of about plus one thirty the DraftKings open our Corbin
Burns minus one forty two. Burns kind of a tough
guy to bet against. But Brian Bellow going for the
Red Sox. Yeah, they're a home opener.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
But you're paying the premium here. By the way, the
Birds did get a beat in two or three from
the Pittsburgh Pirates. How about the Pirates have been a
nice story, by the way to start the season. Raise
the Jolly Roger. They're getting the Tigers tomorrow. Pirates eight
and two on the season. But in terms of this game,
I'd look at the home dog or pass here.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I would too. Red Sox possible play at a nice
plus price. Red Sox home opener again at finn Way Park,
and they're off to a pretty good start right now.
In the ancients here all right? That best best top
games on a Tuesday card.
