Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Veison's Daily Morning Benz. Here's your host, Matt
Humans and West Reynolds.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
All right, West brief recap. A lot our best plays
are at the Masters. I did play Brooks Koepka twenty
two to one and at top ten finish at plus
one ninety twenty feet out of the win a fifty
five to one. Top twenty finish at plus one forty.
Jordan Speed to finish in the top ten and top
twenty and also at twenty five to one. Matt Fitzpatrick

(00:28):
Top twenty, play at plus one forty, Cameron Young, top
twenty at plus one fifty, Saheitha Gala fifty to one
and also top twenty at plus one sixty. I've got
some variety of matchup plays and took a shot at
the first round leader, how about Xander Shaffley eighteen to one,
Will Zelatorus forty to one. But the first round is

(00:48):
going to be rather unpredictable with the weather issues in Augusta,
Georgia on Thursday morning.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Yeah, a lot of rain coming in the morning and
we just added Stephen Hennessy on of course earlier in
the program said looking at a two hour delay and
maybe at least a little bit longer. If it's only
in that time frame, like a two or three hour delay,
you're probably going to get the morning groups in completed
eighteen holes, but not the afternoon group.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
So I'll go over mine. I'll just go over my outrights.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I got a lot of placements that'll take up the
whole segment, but I'll just go over the outrights and
a couple of the props. Rory McElroy thirteen to one.
Xanderschoffle I got it twenty. It was about sixteen when
we recorded long shots, so I think that's still playable. Joking,
Neeman a better number I have, but I thought at
thirty to one are better still worth at Tony Finow
mid forties to one, Kim Young and Saheith Degala both

(01:39):
at fifty five to one when my outrights. In terms
of the props one I did play Crystal lompreckt Low
amateur number four amateur in the world, plays at Georgia Tech,
the Big six eight South African who was a co
leader at the Open Championship last summer. Plus one eighty
eight was the official price. You could get it close
to two to one, and then a couple other props
that I do like as well.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I I like Seawu.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Kim as the low Korean player, which means he has
to beat basically Sun Jam and Tom Kim. Don't do
the low Asian market because that includes mats Yama by
the way, So you know on Matsiyama obviously very well
backed by some very respected people. So I like Seawou
Kim plus one seventy five low koreiding, and then I'm
trying to find as low number as I can possible

(02:21):
on Phil Mickelson as low senior because he's going to
be competing against like Mike Weir and VJ. Singh and
these up straight couples, and you know these guys haven't
been making a lot of cots.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, I bet Phil over Tiger in the matchup. And
you mentioned Sea Wu. I bet Seawou Kim today minus
one fifty against Min Wu Lee, who has an injured hand.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Yeah, Min w Lee.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Of course, I heard his finger dropping that dumbbell on
a workout that was reported yesterday. I think Dan Rappaport
brought that out. But yeah, Phil Mickelson a low senior
like anything, maybe like minus one forty or less, because
I know a draftings is like minus one ninety and
that's not playable for me in that market.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
All right, that graphic this is Matt's masters, that.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Is that is Matt Brown's Matt Brown, Matthewan, not the
knock Matt Brown.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
But yes, we have we have different bets. Okay, okay,
So let's go to the NBA on Thursday and start
with the Knicks and Celtics in Boston. Draft Kings opener
is Nicks minus one. You gotta wonder who's going to
be on the court for the Celtics here. I kind
of like watching this next team West because it reminds
me of watching Villanova basketball.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Yeah, because they got three starters right now.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
From Villanova, Jalen Brown, Josh Hart, and Dante g Vincenzo.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
By the way, this open.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
One globally and we you know, we were talking about
this earlier or earlier in the vs.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
INDNY program.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
That wouldn't be surprised that the Knicks in the morning
closes the favorites. And I think it's head in that
way as we speak, just because our Jason Tatum and
Jalen Brown going to be playing. We know Porzingis and
Horford did not go in Milwaukee. So you gotta be
careful with the Celtics here. They've already clinched the home
court in the East, and if they in fact to
the NBA Finals, so much bigger game for the New

(04:03):
York Knicks in terms of in terms of playoffs seeding,
for sure. I believe the Knicks right now currently reside
in the number three spot in the East. And look,
I think you'd rather play in the second round of
struggling Milwaukee team than fall to the four or five
and have to play the Celtics in the second round
next one two.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
In a row. I would lean Nicks here. And the number,
like you said, is moving that way where a DraftKings
Knicks are one point favorite, still a pick him several
other spots in the market. Let's skip down to Golden
State Portland. The Warriors off that one thirty four to
one to twenty win in LA against the Lakers, where
they made twenty six threes. Based another week defense here

(04:41):
in the Blazers. Golden State a fourteen point favorite at
Portland total two to twenty two.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, line's inflated here, but the Blazers are two and
eight in their last ten. There's a lot of guys
that are out. They're one of the worst teams in
the league and have been all season. They just lost
by ten. Actually, the Pelicans on Tuesday night lost by
seventeen in Boston on sun So you know they can
compete with the bad teams. But I'm not going to
lay it with Golden State just because fourteen on the road.

(05:07):
You're already paying at tax here. So nothing there for
me but another NBA game I want to get to.
That's part of the TNT doubleheader tomorrow. Nicks of Celtics
the first game. Pelicans and the Kings are the second game,
and these are two teams fighting for playoff positioning right now.
The New Orleans Pelicans are the sixth spot forty seven
and thirty two. They can go up, Matt because it's

(05:30):
going to be the Clippers in Dallas. One of those
teams is going to be the four, one of them
is going to be the five.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
That series is set.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
We just don't know who's going to have the home
court advantage. New Orleans can't go up. The best they
can be is the sixth, but they can fall a
little bit because they're only half a game over Phoenix
who's in the seventh spot, Sacramento in the eight spot
forty five and thirty four, And look, they'd like to
stay out of that game too. They don't want to
have to play that nine to ten game because you lose,
you're done. If you lose in the seven eight, at

(05:55):
least you get a chance to play the winner of
the nine to ten, which right now would be the
Lakers and the Warriors.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
So some injuries here.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Brandon Ingram obviously has been out since late March with
the knee issue. For Sacramento, Keegan Murray, Malik Monk questionable.
We know Kevin Herder is out for the season. So
Sacramento hasn't really been able to play consistent basketball. They've
just been about five hundred really since the All Star breaks.
Say went the Pelicans over their last ten but would
lean here, I would lean under here to eighteen and

(06:23):
a half.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Okay, let's go to the ice, Wes, and you want
to handicap a couple of hockey games. I think Detroit
Pittsburgh is one of them. Penguins Mightu's one forty five
total was six?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yeah, two teams right now that are on the outside
looking in in terms of the playoff scenario.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
They're in the East, they're trying to get that wildcard.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Pittsburgh eighty four points, Detroit with eighty four points. So
both of these teams. Look, I don't want to say
this is maybe quite a loser, leave town type of deal,
but it kind of is. Detroit, by the way, is
one four in a row or excuse me, Pittsburgh I
believe has won four in a row at home third
time they're playing this season. Pittsburgh by the way, one

(07:03):
six to three in the previous meetings. So at fair
price at about minus one forty five, the under has
been beat down from six and a half. There's still
some six and a half underwo Jews, but mostly six
to the over.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
At minus one twenty.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
And I don't disagree with that because I do think
with playoff positioning so vital here and every point is
going to matter to these two teams.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I'd lean under here for sure.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Anything else in hockey, you want to go straight to baseball.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Now, well, well one more in hockey, just to kind of,
you know, update some other teams. Philadelphia Flyers are actually
behind both Detroit and Pittsburgh and points. They're at eighty
three they're kind of on the precipice of being eliminated.
Now they are facing the New York Rangers right now
one ten. They have the most points in the East,
but they haven't locked up necessarily that top seed in

(07:54):
these So that's why you're seeing the Rangers still about
minus two to twenty on the board, and I think
that that's the right price.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
All right, let's go to Cincinnati. We'll start with baseball
betting here Brewers and Reds. Nick Martinez gets to start
for the Reds. They are home dogs. Milwaukee minus won
twenty five and as hot as the Pittsburgh Pirates have
been at nine and three, the Brewer is only a
half game back right now.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yeah, they are, So this is going to be looking
in a very interesting division, I think throughout the year.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Small into the Reds.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Freddy Peralta, his strikeout numbers have been off the charts
in the first two so you're going to pay heavy
juice if you like that over. But he's played two
bad offenses, you know, or at least started bad, the
Mets and the Mariners. So Reds are getting bats on
the ball here, So you know, Freddy Parolta, maybe his
under his strikeout prop or just play the Red small

(08:45):
on the money line here, all.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Right, the Boston Red Sox, we're hot to open the
season back to reality the last couple of days losing
to the Baltimore Orioles, and they're going to do it
again at Fenway Park on Thursday afternoon. It's Rodriguez against
Whitlock for the Reds and Baltimore minus one twenty two.
Jackson Holiday top prospects been called up by the.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
O's holiday celebrate, and the Orioles obviously celebrating him being up.
They're also celebrating the fact that Grayson Rodriguez very good
through his first two starts twelve and the third sixteen strikeouts.
Throw some hard velocity which sometimes brings hard contact, but
he's a guy and keep the ball on the ground here.
Baltimore has been very good against right handed pitchers this season,

(09:27):
but the bullpen's been pretty solid for the Red Sox.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
So I like the under here at eight and a half.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
No opinion on the side Orioles minus one twenty two.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Nothing for me.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Rodriguez has been great, but Whitlock has been pretty solid
to start for Boston as well.
