Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is Fison's daily morning Bets.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
All right, Will Hill, We're going to talk a little baseball,
a little basketball, and some golf here as we take
a look at some best bets on the Saturday card.
And it's not all the pitcher information is up there
right now on MLB. But let's take a crack at
this Yankees Guardians doubleheader. They're going to play two in
Cleveland after the game Friday was postponed. And you've got

(00:30):
something you got your eye on, specifically on the Yankees.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah, it was supposed to be Clark Schmidt against Carlos
Carrasco in the Friday night game. I don't know if
that'll be the game one matchup, but I will be
looking to fade Carrasco whichever game he pitches. He's going
to pitch one of the games tomorrow, so those lines
aren't up. The double headers can be tricky with the
pitching order. But Carrasco, we talked about this last week
last Friday Night, Carrasco. If you bet these yes run,
no run first inning, Carrasco to the yes.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Has been a great bet going back a few years.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
For whatever reason, he can't set in early, so the
Yankees at top of the lineup. Maybe you look for
a yes run first inning, and I will be looking
to back the Yankees.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
I'm guessing they're around a dollar forty five.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
That was the price for the Friday night that game
that got called so interesting game too. I know we
talked about it a little earlier. For anyone that bet
Guardians first team to ten wins, I'm sorry most wins.
At the end of April at like sixty sixty five
to one, they are in the mix here, and if
they can have a good weekend against the Yankees, they
are live as we head towards the end of the month.

(01:29):
But I will be looking to fake Prasco in that
first game, which gaming pitches.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
All right, good deal, doubleheader Saturday in Cleveland, and will
on Carrasco when he pitches and he's looking to play
the Yankees there.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Well, let's take a look actually at a couple of
Chicago teams. Let's go in the Reds White Sox game.
White Sox are home dogs, DraftKings opening the Reds minus
one thirty. What's your play here.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
I'm going to take the White Sox. I'm going to
go in the first five.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Now, this is a terrible team, but they have an
outstanding pitcher in Crochet, who's a lefty who's got legitimate
cy young stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
I don't know that he can actually win.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
The award because I don't know that he'll get enough innings,
but he has lights out. I watched him pitch a
lot against the Braves a couple of weeks ago. He
was absolutely dominant, swinging miss stuff. And he's getting paired
up against Nick Lodolo, who's pitching for the Reds. Lodolo
hasn't pitched in the Big League since May of last year.
It's almost a full calendar year. I always like the
fake guys coming off I Elston, especially long Eye Elston.

(02:24):
Sometimes they're a rusty, don't have their you know their location,
their command. So I'll go white Sox, I'll go first five.
I don't want to get involved with the bullpens anytime
these aces go for these bad teams. I like to
play first five, where look, if the game's tied after
five innings, you become an underdog, So I don't want
any involvement in that. I don't like playing these ghost
Runner games. So look if it's tie after five I'll
happily take my money back.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Maybe you can find.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Plus a half a run for the first five and
lay the extra juice. That would be a bad way
to play it. But White Sox first five will be
a play here.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Okay. From the White Sox, we go to the Cubs,
and you have your eye on the lefty for the
Cubs who open minus at Seattle.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, he's been impressive im Naga two starts now, he's
been really good this and now Central's wide open, so
Cubs could be a factor here. Hancock is not pitch
well for the Mariners. The marriage have not got a
good pitching Castill, who I like, is a pitcher. It's
gotten hammered a couple of times so early. Some troubling
signs here early for the Mariners. But I'm gonna go
with the Cubbies here playing about a dollar forty with
him Innaga.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Going sholta I Minaga for the Cubs. Ten innings, no
earned runs, twelve strikeouts, no walks, pretty impressive numbers so far.
He's been better than Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the Dodgers, right.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Sure, hes sure has he wasn't that that hyped up?
I mean I watched him pitch. I'm trying to think
who his first outing was. I think it was the
Rockies on a Monday afternoon game a couple of weeks ago.
I was like, where did this guy come from? So
maybe you know I was paying attention to football or whatever,
But it doesn't seem like.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
He got a lot of hike compared to how good
he is.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I like what you're talking about there, because his numbers
are off the charts so far and I'm not hearing
any talk about him. Uh he's he's a favorite against
US Seattle Cubs. It might be the play there all right. Well,
with the NBA coming down to the final day of
the season on Sunday, with all the teams in the
association in action, the top seed in the West up

(04:12):
for grabs. I know there are no numbers up on
the board right now, but what will you have your
eye on for the final day of the NBA?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
This race for the one between Oklahoma City, Minnesota and Denver.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Man.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
If you played some of these underdogs on the money
line on Friday, you could have gotten riched pretty quickly.
With the Spurs, the Jazz, the Piston's all as huge
underdogs winning the games outright, as we see this a
lot late in the year, but it'll be interesting. I
think the MAVs they've already said, hey, we're going to
rest our guys. And not only do the MAVs want
to get the rest our guys. If they lose and
they get Oklahoma City, the one that keeps Denver on

(04:47):
the three, that means they can't play Denver. They don't
have to play Denver until the conference finals, so I'm
sure it'll be built into the number. I'll be fascinated
to see how they make a line for Oklahoma City
versus Dallas. But you know, tune into jbt VSA dot
com check out everybody's work because this is going to
be tough to navigate this final Sunday with all the
moving parts of who needs the game, who does need

(05:08):
the game. Some teams might not only not need the game,
they might be incentivized to lose the game.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
So keep that in mind again.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Go to Visa dot com check out all the stuff
because it's a tricky day to bet going in there Sunday,
and I think they're going to have two windows of games,
one o'clock Eastern then three thirty Eastern so there's as
little gamesmanship as possible where these teams have to come
out and give an honest effort.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
All right, let's talk about the Masters and possible best
bets for Saturday. Here. You know, we had Wes Reynolds on.
We talked about this, and I also believe Scotti Scheffler
is going to close it out this weekend. The number
right now at circus plus one twenty three. I'll go
ahead and go on record with Scheffler at that number
plus one twenty three as a play. If you don't

(05:49):
have anything on it, you do have something on Scheffler.
So you got some rooting interest here. I think what
you got plus about eight to one on Scheffler. Pre tournament,
there was.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
A plus I had book that was plus seven fifty
where it was you know, four to one, four fifty
in the market, and this one book just happened to
be slower to move. So I said, you know, I'll
put it in my pocket. I'll play, and you know
it's just it's a decent number. Haven't gotten ELTs, haven't
gotten much else right this tournament. I played the under
for the cut line, I played. I faded Tiger on Friday.
I had Sergio Garcia to do well, So hasn't been
a good tournament for me. And you know, we were

(06:21):
talking about this a little earlier.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
In between breaks.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
I'll probably go back to looking to fade Tiger on
Saturday over seventy two and a half. I just don't
know that he can hold up after playing twenty three
holes on Friday.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
This seems to be his.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
M where he can play well in spurts, but I
don't know that he can sustain it.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
I agree with you there. I think there's going to
be some attrition, physical wear and tear. It's going to
bring Tiger down over the weekend. Even though I'll say
this as opposed to last year when the weather was
miserable at Augusta, the Master's weather is going to be
magnificent this weekend. So I think Tiger has got a
much better chance to play well than he did a
year ago when he withdrew. And you can kind of

(06:58):
see that coming going to the weekend at Circus Sports.
Scotty Scheffler's minus one eighty five and head to head
matchup in the third round, and that's against Bryson Deshambo
during the three way tie for the lead that's a
big price on Scheffler to play better than the Shambo
in the third round. Like I said, well, I feel

(07:18):
like it's Scheffler going into this weekend. To me is
similar to Yukon going into the Final four a week ago.
You just feel like the favorite's going to win it,
the best team, best player is going to prevail. I'll
be really surprised that Scotty doesn't win it this weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Yeah, and he's had his moments where it looked like
he was gonna pull away.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
You mentioned the hole on thirteen where he hit the
ball into the water where it's funny, he just you
looked at the odds, the updated odds throughout the tournament,
and whether it was morning, afternoon, night, it was always
right in that same corridor plus one fifteen, minus one fifteen.
I think the highest I saw him today was plus
one sixty at one point where it's funny, he closed

(07:58):
plus plus four hundred, plus four fifty very quickly. He
went under two to one, and he hasn't been over
two to one since.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
He's just been in.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
That little corridor of like he's slightly plus money, slightly
minus money, and it's just he hasn't moved.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
We didn't see that much movement in the leader board.
Just overall it's been. It was kind of status quo
from start to finish.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Up.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
We'll see what happens here on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
All right, If you're looking to fade Tiger on Saturday,
I'm going to give you two matchup possibilities I see
right now. One at CIRCA one at the Westgates super
Book DraftKings has got a lot of stuff up right
now as well. Would you rather bet Terrell Hatton minus
one eighty five against Tiger or Phil Mickelson minus one
thirty against Tiger?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
I'd probably go with Phil, But yeah, it seems properly priced.
Which one would you go with?

Speaker 2 (08:42):
I'd probably go with Phil. I don't want to lay
that type of price with adding. He's like you never
know when Hatton's going to blow up. He's like a
dynamite stick.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Yep. No, I'm with you. Some might even call him
Ricky Hatton, rerel Haddon.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Does I call him Terrell this time? I got it
right this time? Right? Actually, I will look at Xander
Shaffley minus one forty five against Patrick Cantley. That's a
matchup we can go to play, and I agree with
Wes Reynolds. I was thinking about this day. Shaffley is
much better in the chaser role. When he's at the
top of the leader boarder he's got the lead or

(09:17):
near it. On Saturday or Sunday, he tends to choke.
He's not good with the pressure on him, but when
he's chasing, he's more effective. And also, I think Shaffley
has played better than the score indicates. I've watched pretty
much all the coverage here in the first two days,
and Shaffley's one guy I think has played better than
the score indicates, so I expect him to play well

(09:37):
here on the weekend. So Shaffley over Cantley Shaffley minus
one forty five in that matchup for the third round.
All right, that's look at the top games and the
best bets on Saturday.
