Why is it so hard to make work work today? This is a phenomenon perplexing companies and the people they employ. Companies want highly engaged, performing people who will stay with them. Employees want a place they can thrive while cultivating their craft and career. What both parties need is to find the “right fit.” Doing so involves individuals learning to fully identify their key motivational and fulfillment drivers, and companies advertising their lived day-to-day culture, not aspirational.
