Yes, we are still having audio issues. Tis the plight of the broke college podcaster. You could be upset about it, like us, or you could choose to see it as a glitch in the matrix...perhaps a ghost in the machine, or even a real ghost. Boo! To the real point of this description, this episode is about the loneliest of lonelies, Dr. Carl Tanzler. Was he a necrophiliac? Maybe, but that's about the only part of the story that is contested. What we do know is that he was obsessed with a dying young girl, built her a mausoleum of which he had exclusive access once she passed, then dug up her body and made her into a human doll. There's also something in here about spaceships and the life-giving force that apparently looms just outside Earth's atmosphere.
