Big Idea: …may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Galatians 6:14
1) The cross is how Jesus paid the penalty of our sin. Romans 3:23-25 2) The cross assures us of God’s deep love for us. Romans 5:8 3) The cross breaks the power of sin over our lives. Colossians 2:13-15; Hebrews 2:14-15 4) The cross instructs us how to live today. Galatians 2:20; Matthew 16:24-26 5) The cross declares that God is truthful and trustworthy. Psalm 33:4
