Dr. Anar Mikailov is a Harvard-trained board-certified dermatologist, the director of hospital dermatology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Boston, and the founder of KP Away. With KP Away, Anar is introducing a new "Lipid Repair" concept for treating Keratosis Pilaris, one of the most common skin condition second only to acne.
Anar discusses that the underlying cause of KP is a sebaceous gland issue, not an exfoliation disorder as previously thought, leading to a paradigm shift in how he looks at KP and how he treats it.
