I'm not ready to spring forward . . . yet. The recent time change got me thinking about how fast we are always springing forward to the next thing. That phrase, "live each day like it's your last" is tossed around as a surface-level BS motivational quote.
The idea of living each day like it's my last gives me anxiety. It's chaotic, and it's toxic positivity. It's too much pressure in a world where we already feel behind, rushed, and not good enough. Most days are going to feel mundane and routine. I actually find peace in that.
