Comeback Kid is a Canadian melodic hardcore band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, formed in 2001. In the beginning, Andrew Neufeld was one of the band's guitarist/backing vocalists and eventually, he would take over lead vocals when frontman Scott Wade exited the band in 2006. Neufeld's recording debut would be on the band's third studio album, Broadcasting... (2007). Guitarist Stu Ross joined CBK in 2012 when guitarist Casey Hjelmberg departed and debuted on the group's fifth LP, Die Knowing (2014). Since then, the band has released two more full-lengths totaling seven, most recently Heavy Steps in 2022, and has maintained a relentless touring schedule. Both Neufeld and Ross spend time on other projects, most notably Andrew is in Figure Four while Stu also plays in Misery Signals.
