(00:01):
Good morning, good evening, goodafternoon, whatever the case may be.
This is Mike and this is for
November 5th, 2023. Na Pod Pomo,
and of course it's Mike Dell'sworld. How you doing? So, uh, here,
here's a sound thatshould, uh, ring a bell.

(00:24):
Actually, that's supposed to bea clock ticking, but, uh, eh,
doesn't sound so much like that anyway,
as you may or may not, uh,
have experience depending onwhere you're at in the world.
But most of us in the UShad to do the time change,
uh, overnight last night.
So there was two o'clock in themorning twice yesterday, or, well,

(00:47):
maybe it was one o'clock,I don't know. But, uh, it,
it's kind of funny that most ofthe clocks that I look at on a
regular basis auto change, my computers,
the tablet, the phone,my watch, television,
uh, you know, just most ofthe clocks. But, you know,

(01:09):
there's some that are still analogor not analog, but disconnected,
not paying any attention. I have,I don't know, three alarm clocks,
uh, around the house. We use 'em justfor clocks, you know, not for the alarm,
but 'cause they're nice bigdisplays and you can see 'em.
All three of those I had to change.
I had to change the microwave, the oven.

(01:34):
Both vehicles are all threevehicles, but I haven't,
one of 'em is in storageanyway, so that didn't count.
And I'm looking at right now,my weather station still, uh,
still says the, the wrong time.
And I have another wall clock here inthe office that I didn't change yet.
But otherwise everything else changed.

(01:55):
Even I have an older watchthat uses the national
whatever, uh, the atomicclock thing and had to,
I, I didn't have to changethat one. So, pretty cool.
Whatever happened to theproposal they had to,
to go to daylight savingstime all year round and

(02:18):
not do any of these timechanges anymore. And I dunno,
it seems to come up every time,
but I had heard that there was somethingalready in the works for that. But, uh,
I haven't dug into it, but I don't know,
I guess I don't mind too much. The only,
only drawback we have is we've got acouple of beagles that don't pay attention

(02:39):
to the time and they think it's timeto eat when really it's an hour later,
not so bad in the springtime.
'cause the direction of theclock actually, that they, oh,
we're getting fed early untilthey get used to it. But, uh,
now they're waking me up at six30 to eat when it's normally
7 30, 8 o'clock beforethey get to eat. Oh,

(03:01):
well enough of that. Uh, we will, uh,
trudge on to tomorrow's episode tomorrow.
Catch me later. I.
