Jan Pronk is voormalig politicus. Hij was 24 jaar Tweede Kamerlid namens de PvdA, minister in vier kabinetten en hij diende vijf jaar als speciaal VN-gezant. Na in 2013 zijn partijlidmaatschap te hebben opgezegd, is hij sinds 2023 weer terug als lid van de partij. In het nieuwe boek ‘Kijk Niet Weg’ gaat Pronk met journalist en filosoof Ellen Mangnus in dialoog over hoe we grote problemen als klimaatverandering, oorlog en pandemie kunnen aangaan.
