In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus calls men and women to follow him. This discipleship in which he calls them to, does not take place in a traditional classroom or student-teacher setting. This discipelship takes place in the "everyday" aspects of life: walking along the road, attending celebrations, and having conversations in the local water hole. We are called to the same life of faith...one that is ACTIVE. During this next season of our church, we desire to shift our discipleship into an active, purposeful endeavor.
On this second Sunday of the Lenten season, we get to hear from Ryan Silvia, our Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. Ryan talks about how it is God’s desire that the entire world experience His love. There is an urgency to being a disciple of Christ.
