What is going on you beautiful people? Today we sit down in the home of Skye Miu Steppe.  Skye has a rare genetic disease called Fibrous Dysplasia. In this episode, she shares her lifelong journey of living with the disease and how that led her to become an advocate for other rare childhood diseases as well.

Prior to meeting Skye, I had no idea of just how prevalent things like this was. She first reached out to me because her mom had been on my podcast and Skye was interested in starting her own podcast. I asked her what she wanted her podcast to be about and she said rare childhood disease. That's when she started telling me her story. I suggested that we should do a podcast about it and that way she could get an idea on how to do this.  A few days later I learn that a family member had a child suffering from a rare skin disease and they had asked that I do a podcast on it. Weird, huh? Coincidence, huh? Or, maybe, just maybe, all things are spiritual.
