A stage play is about to go on about a masked owl-headed killer who stalks and maybe is seduced by his victims? Caustic directors and stressed actors lamenting a constantly changing production days before opening are the least of their problems as a violent murder of one of their actors happens and is attributed to Irving Wallace. Wallace himself was a former actor who went on a rampage and was locked away. He's free now and masquerading as the killer in the play. Can the actors and crew work together to escape this owl-masked menace? No. No they can't.
