you're able to fire in whatever you'd like here on
this podcast via that five star view to not get

a good day at baseball on Saturday. Let's take a
look back at it, try to find some runs in,
try to get to know these seems a little bit better.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Games were yesterday? Is Greg buzzing about?

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Here is the rowdy recap out there in Mexico City.
If you took the under sixteen and a half, you
just barely got there. Twelve to four. The Houston Astros
find a way to get the job done. Controversial play
in the middle part of the game where it looked
like Brenton Doyle was rounding third and ending for home.
They couldn't tell if he touched a base or night
they called him out. So you'lsst thee over. That's the

(01:36):
reason why. Is cal Quantrell did not help out with
that over too much as well. Sixth runs surrendered in
five innings doing a pair of home runs, says you
take a deep by yard on Ovres his sixth home
run season, Kyle Tucker is sixth, and then Alvaz will
go deep off of Tyler Kinley for his seventh home
run season, as Kinley gives up four runs and a
third of an nging now rock in a nice thirteen

(01:56):
oh six era. Victor Vadnik gives up two runs over
the visiting Jeroe Beeks two squirrels settings, and Anthony Molina
gets a pair of bouts out of the bullpen and
for the Rockies a stranded twelve men on Mace. He
had Ryan McMahon go deep off of Ronald Blanco for
a home run number four of the campaign, and it's
really the low mistake that Blanco would make five to
two third. Sennings gives up two runs in Mexico City.

(02:17):
That's actually really impressive. Brandy Beelock then gives up two
runs over the course of it's setting, but Brian Rayu Taylor,
Scott Seth Martinez are will come out of the bullpen
for Bray and Scott squirrels settings out of both and
Martinez gets an out out of the bullpen himself. The
Washington Nationals just continue the minds of the Miami Marlins
eleven to four is the final as the Nationals twelve
and four looking athlete decent end for the Miami Marlins

(02:40):
a very paltry and said six and twenty two. As
for Washington, Yeah, Mitchell Parker lent another night start. He
does give up six hits and four runnings, but when
he allows one run. From there, Jacob Barnes is able
to supply to scroreless settings Tom floor him along with
the other Barns and Matt Barnes both one a squirrel
is setting a piece and then Tannery. They give up

(03:00):
three runs over the course of his ending of work.
As taking him deep, you had home run number one
of the season four Otto Lopez, and for the Miami Marlins,
they were not able to get the start that they
were opening four out of Edward Cabrera six runs, five
of which Will earned in four and a third innings,
including a grand Salami as J. C. Winker is able
to take him deep for home run number three of

(03:21):
the season. Then he had a pair of home runs
with keiber Wiz getting his second home run season Nate
Sanzel's third. Those both come off of Kent Emanuel, who
he gives up four runs, three which will earned over
the course of three innings, and he did have the
Klon Cronin come in for one and two thirds innings.
He allowed one run along the way as well. That
buck kicking not as bad as this one. The Boston
Red Sox knock off the Chicago Cubs seventeen to nothing.

(03:43):
To put this into perspective, the New England Patriots in
twenty twenty three averaged thirteen point nine points per game,
so as a pretty vulgar display of power. As Ben Brown,
he goes three and two thirds innings, he allowed three
runs and somehow, some way, the next three pitchers that
entered did worse in him. Luke Little only came up Little,
giving up five runs a two thirds of innings. He

(04:04):
had six runs and two thirds of nine given up
by Matt Murvis, the backup first baseman. Then he had
three runs given up in two and two thirds sendings
by Colton Brewer. Brewer and Brown both a lot of
home run as going deep off of Brown was seven
O'Neal leinth home run season. Sadine Rafaela his second home
run in the campaign. As Josh Wuinkowski pretty rock solid
year in his open three scoreless settings. From there, Brendan

(04:27):
Bernardino Pablo Reyes Possession Player both lend the scroll of
setting and had two squirrels settings from Justin Slayton cam
Boozer was able to give you two squirrels settings as well,
also getting shut out the Oakland a seven to zero.
The Baltimoreles are able to take them down as jp
s as well. You should have been chopping at series
for some out. Seven runs surrendered in six and a
third innings, including a trio of home runs going deep

(04:49):
for Baltimore, Ryan Mountcastle start of the campaign, a Rushman
his third and Gunner Anderson is ninth. From there you
were able to get one in two thirds, ending sculls
out of Michael Kelly and for the Oakland as simply
nothing doing here. Corvin was able to lend seven squirrels
settings Mike baumandill and Tate. They both supply a squirrels setting.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Of their own.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
R DK nowork right a pick of the over and
Reds versus Rangers gets there in the ninth inning as
the Rangers put up a four spot in the ninth
but it was too little, too late eight to four.
The since I Reds get it done. Hunter Green gave
up just one it in seven scoreless settings. Brent Souter
did make a mess out of thanks, giving up four
runs in one and the third innings. For that matter,
the Rangers had just one it going into the ninth inning,

(05:28):
and then they had six in the ninth as Yeah,
Corey Seger be able to get a home run number
two of the campaign, and how about the first career
home run for Davis Wenzel to be able to get
us the over. So grat some, mister Weinsil, and you
can grat some. Michael Lorenzen on a bad start, five
runs surrendered over the course of six innings, and he's
taken deep in this one by Jonathan India first home
run season and Will Benson home run number four of

(05:50):
the season as ose ed Enya comes in and he
Yedya is all over the game, giving up three runs
of which Will earned over the course of three innings.
And for the Reds he had Alexis come into the
game because Brent Suter made such a mess out of things,
he was able to get the final two outs of
the game to be able to get things all cleaned
up there. It was very overwhelming day in baseball on Saturday,
as he saw the Saint Louis Cardinals be able to

(06:11):
rise up. They get the job done, they get a
win over the New York Mets. It's by count of
seven to four. For the Cardinals. They've been one of
your better under teams in all baseball as far as
the season, sixteen unders, nine overs and two pushes as
far as this season. But for Saint Louis, you were
able to have this team go five to sixteen with
men in scoring position, and Sonny Gray a little bit
of a non characteristic star for him. He gives up
four runs over the course of six octings, so only

(06:33):
one of them was earned. You had Nolan aaron Otto
commit his first hour of the season, and very very
rare for him to do so. He did give up
a home run along the way Pete Alonso goes he
for home run number eight of the season. From there,
you had scoreless settings out Ryan Helsley and your kitchrich
Jojo Romero, and for the New York Metropolitans, Adrian Alser
pitch a little bit more like Dougie Howser's six runs
surrendered in four to third innings and then from there

(06:56):
Jordan Walker is able to give me farts out of
the bullpen scoreless. You had Sean reed fully the supply
squirrel settings a lont that Neil Nunez and had Jake
Diekman come in for one and the third innings. He
did allow a run along the way as well. The
Milwaukee Brewers got completely smoked on Saturday, and they continued
to be one of your better over teams in all
baseball sixteen overs of ten unders. Only the Baltimore Orioles

(07:16):
have a higher percentage to the over at fifteen overs,
nine unders and two pushes. But for the eight New
York Yankees they completely polarizer Brewers by account of fifteen
to three. As Carlos Rodan gives up a solo run
over course of his six innings. The work going deep
for the Birds Reese Hoskins' sixth home run season, and
it's about all that the Birds had to cheer four
in this one. You had the backup catcher and Ose

(07:37):
Trevino come in for an ending. He gave up two
runs at Luke Weaver, two squirrels of settings. But for
the New York Yankees, how about this? He had Aaron
Judge go deep for his fifth home run of the season.
Alex Verdugo is fourth, Anthony Rizzo's fourth rome run season.
John carlos In is sixth as for Sandy go zeepof
of Joe Ross go five innings, gives up seven runs,
six of which were earned. Pair of home runs were

(07:59):
given up by Thigo Vieira, who comes in four aniting.
He gives up four runs, all of which will earned,
and then he had Owen Miller back up first baseman
come in for two innings. He gave up four runs
as Janson Junk he was able to spy a scroll
a setting as well, So we saw a lot of
position players pitching on Saturday, and that lingered into the
Twins versus the La Angels sixteen to five is the

(08:22):
final and this one is Aaron Nix said to come
into the ninth inning for the La Angels. He gave
up two runs over the course of an ending, including
home run going deep for the Minnesota Twins off of him.
With Ryan Jeffers kinging his fifth home run season. Carson
Former gives one up to Max Kepler's versus the campaign
and then he had one regardless Santana I get his
third home run the campaign that comes off of Ose
Cicero for Seasaro. He gives up three runs in two

(08:44):
thirds of finning. For Former gives up four runs at
three and a third innings. Each of the first four
pitchers that entered in this game for the Twins gave
up at least three runs, says Ose Soriano. On he
gets five outs, he gives up four runs, all which
we earned. Ose Suarez gives up three runs. He gets
just four outs as Hunter Strickland was able come in.
He was able to supply a scirrel of setting and
then for the Minnesota Twins, this was a pretty good

(09:05):
outing from the bullpen. J Jackson two squirrel sennings. Cody Funderberg,
he gives up a run in two innings, as he
did have Chris Paddock give up four runs over the
course of five innings. Going deep for the La Angels,
Joe Ell says, fire to the rain. He's able to
get home run number three of the season the Pittsburgh
Pirates in exter innings, they are able to take down
the San Francisco Giants one night after getting walked off
four to three. The finalized for the Pirates pair of

(09:27):
home runs in this one. Gabrian As off of Taylor
Rodgers in the tenth is first time run in the campaign.
Then Taylor Rodgers gives one up to Brian Reynolds' fourth
as this game was one to one by the way
going into that ninth inning, so he had to sweat
this out if he had the under in this one,
as your knicks pretty solid. He gives up one run
over the course of six innings, Luke Jackson, Taylor Rodgers,
Camillion of all all into squirrels setting, and then Taylor Rodgers.

(09:50):
He gives up those two runs three runs too, which
will earn in his ending work at Orde Hilaire. He
didn't go deep in the tenth enning as well, off
of David Bennar his fifth home runs. Sea says, this
was a great surf from our team, but he gives
up an under run over the course of six innings.
He had Josh Fleming, Hunter Stratton come in to combine
for two squirrel sendings, Colin Holderman a squirrel setting of
his own, and then David Bennar. He gives up two runs,

(10:11):
one of which was earned in that tenth inning off
of the home run. The Philadelphia Phillies just keep on
streaking as they take down the old slame Diego Padres,
this by a count of five to one. As for
the Philadelphia Phillies, they were able to get a nice
deep shot here from Alec Boem fourth m run the
campaign that comes off Dylan see sue he sees ened
assisted five runs surrendered over course of six innings. So

(10:32):
Audren Moda hoone out of the bullpen, three squirrels setting
so credit there and then had Ugui Rosario be able
to get home run number three of the season that
came off of Ranger Swartz, who just continues to be
tremendous for the Phillies. Gave up this home run and
that's all that he would allow in his eight innings.
Jeff Hoppin from their squirrel is signing to be able
to stem the tide and get the job done for
a Padres team that they only got three it's in

(10:54):
this one, so they got very held down. But the
Cleveland Guardians they will not be held down. They're now
nineteen at eight and I believe had the best record
in the American League. Four to two, they take down
the Atlanta Braves. Says for the Guardians. They go just
to have town with Bennet scoring position, but bitching was tremendous.
Tanner Biby seven scrorel of setting sign punchouts did have
Hunter Gaddas come out of the bullpen give up two

(11:15):
runs at an ending, but Menu class A Scott Barlow,
Nick Sandlin, they all supply a squirrel of setting, and
then for Atlanta, Charlie Morton seven squirrel setting of his own.
But the bullpen from there, well they were had. You
got Joey Menez give up two runs over the course
of visiting Roscioglesias the squirrel of setting, and then Dylan
Lee gives up two runs, one of which was earned
over the course of two innings. So the Cleveland Guardians

(11:35):
just keep it rolling. And the Chicago White Sox have
won back to back games and they're up to five
wins Ladies and Gentlemen eight to seven. They take down
the Tampa Bay Race and ten innings, says Aaron Savali,
a turn of a start, giving up six runs and
four and a third inning says He's taken deep by
Andrew Bennettendy for his first home run season. The Ben
and Dendy and the tenth, thenning off of Phil Mayton

(11:57):
to walk it off home round number two of the season,
as Mayton gives up two runs, one of which was earned.
This is just not the same Tampa Bay Race bullpen
that it used to be. As Sean Armstrong, Grett Clevenger
think youmbying for one and two thirds ending scoreless, Jason
Adams a squirrel of signing, and Kevin Kelly was able
to fly two scrorels settings as well, but for the
Chicago White Sox after he had Jonathan Cannon get absolutely launched.

(12:17):
Four runs surrendered over the course of five innings, including
a pair of home runs Richie Palacios third home run season,
then about a home run number one of the season
for young Austin Shelton. From there, the bullpen wasn't too bad.
You did have dominic leone give up two runs over
an inning, but you had John Brebbia, Michael Copek, Davey Garcia,
Steven Wilson. I'll be able to provide a clean enning.

(12:37):
Not too many klean ennings out there in Detroit as
the Tigers take down the Cancery Rails.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
This by a count of six of five.

Speaker 3 (12:43):
As for Detroit, they were able to put up a
five spot in the seventh inning that really got them
to victory. Brady Singer he was tremendous for the Cancery Rails.
One runs surrendered over the course of five innings. From
there on, Elserpa along Matt Sours fly squirrel signing, but
Chris Trained five runs giving up over the course of
an ending, including home run Matt Veerling three run shot
his second home run of the campaign, as Casey Mice

(13:05):
not great now terrible three runs two of which were earned,
surrendered in five innings. Alex Fido though two squirrels signings,
Andrew Chief and a squirrel setting before. Jason fully does
give up two runs over the course of his hetting,
but he did just enough to be able to get
the team to save and also doing just enough to
be able to get the job done. How about the
Los Angeles Dodgers say are able to get a win
by a count of four to two. As for the

(13:26):
Toronto Blue Jays, this has been just a very underwhelming
team as far the season, seventeen hunders to just eleven
overs as far this season. But for the laed Odders,
they had everything working in this one.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
As they head.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Tyler Glassu give them a very good start, one run
surrender of the course of six innings. Did have a
Phillips give up in under run and is ending work.
He had his own throwing hear hurt him, but Joe Kelly,
Ryan Brady sure they both supply squirrel Is setting in
for the Toronto Blue Jays, he's Sakikucci gives up all
four runs over the course of six huntings, no home runs,
but just a lot of general contact with nine US
Justice Caberra, Yimi Garcia. Then he comein for two squirrel

(14:00):
settings and Jordan Romano along with Nate Pearson they both
combined for a squirrel Is setting as well. And then
in the nightcap, the top under team in all of baseball,
the Seattle Manners play another unders. Three to one is
the score they take down the Ears on a Diamondbacks
says now for Seattle nineteen unders seven oversent plush as
for Arizona slates, so Sony was pretty solid. He takes

(14:21):
a loss, but gives up just one run over the
course of six innings. Ben Jarvis from there gives up
two runs in a third of a nighting, including a
home run to Ty France more like Win France his
first home run season, Joe Mann to ply eight squirrel
of setting. Kevin Ginko gets a pairabouts out of the bullpen, scoreless.
Meanwhile for Seattle, George Kirby twelve punch outs and seven
scoreless settings. Ryan Santy gives up a run in an ending,
but Andre's Munos he's able to sply a squirrel signing

(14:43):
to be able to get Seattle the job down there.
And if you're looking at what we're all seeing in
Major League Baseball right now entering into yesterday things, we're
looking very underwhelming in baseball, and you still got a
few unders in but overall for the season, under sounding
at fifty one point eight percent two hundred four unders
to one hundred ninety overs, and FA they're hitting at
a clip of about fifty eight point four percent on
the money line two thirty seven and one sixty nine.

(15:06):
If you take a look at what we all got
on Saturday, usaw quid a few underdogs barking. They went
seven and eight on the money line and the under
went only seven and eight, So actually not as bad
as I expected. Just a lot of explosive like ten
plus run games out there, and if you're looking at
the last seven days in Major League baseball, very much
a under trend. Fifty three hundreds of thirty seven overs

(15:27):
in that timespan. Well, favorites they have been pretty darn slid.
Had fifty four and forty one in that timespan. So
that's where we're all seeing a Major League Baseball right now.
And that's what we all got on Saturday. Now, let's
turn it forward to Sunday and look at what we've
all gone from the first month of the season. We
will do so with one of our good friends, Man
Joseph saykame mid major man right here on the Baseball
Betting Show with myself Greg Peterson.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Now apart to the Beast and Bailey.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Podcast, breaking down every game every day in Major League Baseball,
this is the Baseball Betting Show. Here is your host,
Greg Peterson, and we're.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Mag here love you Las Vegas for the main co
betting show with myself Greg Peters. Been now part of
the Vison family and podcasts, and it is always great
to be joined by this man as Matt Josephs you know.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Him better, has been major Matt.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
He's showing me as he does a tremendous job over
there at the ESPN radio affiliate in Richmond with the
showboarder Border does great work with FTN Network taking a
look at so many different props, whether that be football,
whether that be baseball. Obviously, with the name major Matt,
you know that he does a tremendous job on the
college basketball front of his ball. And you're able to
follow him on Twitter slash cks at mid Major Matt

(16:33):
altogether and Matt always pleasure my friend.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
Yeah, always a pleasure to be on. Certainly an interesting
slate on Sunday, and an interesting start to.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
The season so far.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Oh, no doubt about it. It is.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
We've got a great slate on Sunday, including a game
out there in Mexico City, and we are now at
that one month part of the season. We're about thirty
exact days through the season, if you're not counting the
games out there in Seoul, South Korean. Just want to
get your thoughts as to want to sit out to
you whether it's something that you were expecting to see
that has happened, or maybe there was something that was
a little bit unforeseen that has become a little bit

(17:03):
of a trend in terms of your betting.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
I thought the Guardians had a chance to win the division,
and I thought they had a chance to play really well.
But I think they've surpassed expectations, and you know, part
of it is like really good rotation. It obviously lost
Shane Bieber pretty early, but they've seemingly bounced back from
that and continued to play really well. They're playing some
low scoring games, and that starting pitching is just so
good in the bullpen when they take over.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
So I expected the Guardians to do well.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
I took their over on their win total, but I
don't know if I expected them to do this well,
and certainly didn't expect the Royals to be chasing them
with their rotation doing so well.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
I think Kansas City is a very interesting team to watch.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
I don't know if they're gonna be able to keep
this up all season long, but certainly the Guardians and
the Royals being the top two teams in the Central were.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Not expected as much as I thought.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah, with the Minnesota Twins, it's just been a case
where Royce Lewis being out full just killed them. And
how much do you take a look at some of
these teams that they're just so vastly different when the
players in slash out. Like I remember last year in
the New York Yankees when they had Aaron Judge in
the fold, not that they were the number one offense
in the league, but they were pretty formidable. With Autumn,
they were just completely useless. And I do think that

(18:08):
for the Minnesota Twins, their offense is in full fade mode.
Un tell he comes back, but I think the second
that Lewis comes back, and I'll be honest here, I
don't know exactly what he's supposed to if he is
at all, But that said, I think the second he
comes back, that is a team that we might need
to look at it.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
A little bit of different team.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Well.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
I hope he does come back because I took an
over on his home run prop and of course he
hit a home run early, but.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Then he has been injured since then.

Speaker 5 (18:31):
Injuries are certainly a part of the game, and some
of the teams have been able to kind of overcome them,
especially in the lineup. I think the thing that's interesting
for the Twins are obviously when they play their home games,
most of them are going to be in the cold,
and it's not exactly hitting conditions for the Twins. I
don't love the rotation outside of the first couple of
guys there, certainly in Minnesota. So I think Minnesota is
one of those teams that maybe they're down right now,

(18:53):
but when it gets warmer and when they start getting healthier,
there might be some value potentially and then getting back
into this race.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
And they've actually been a d home run team in
the top ten in terms of home runs entering into
the day on Saturday toward Julianne has been able to
but they just have not been able it for any
sort of contact whatsoever. It's been a little bit of
a boomer bust sort of lineup. So that's been very
interesting to see. And as long as we're on the
topic of the Al Central, I've talked about this with
quite a few people, and I'll.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
Talk about it with you again.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
How do you take a look at this Chicago White
Sox team, because I'm willing to bet that there's a
lot of total base props that you're able to take
under the little bit juicy that have just been cashing left,
right and sideways, and for the White sox's just all
about in my opinion, betting on ways for them to
not do good, because well, they.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Have not done anything right this far the season.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
It was interesting, they started out the season going under
in a lot of their k props. They were making
a lot of contact at least, and even though their
offense was struggling, they were still making contact in their outs.
And then ever since then the bottom has kind of
dropped out there. They've started to go over a lot,
And certainly, if you're into the pitching props, you can look.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
At the outsovers.

Speaker 5 (19:55):
You know, Zach Afflin on Friday went six innings, Joe
Ryan earlier in the week went six, Chris Paddock of
all people, win seven innings, and then the Phillies pitchers
all win seven plus innings. So if you're looking for
opportunities to fade the White Sox, you can certainly look
at outsovers with some of these pitchers, certainly looking at
outs overs and you know, urn runs allowed unders. Those
are certainly ways to take advantage of a bad team,

(20:16):
although you're gonna get a lot of one and a
half's unfortunately, because they're just not hitting that right now.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Absolutely, it has been just so interesting to type in
on the Chicago White Sox team, and I do want
to get you on this topic as well as Matt Josephs,
who does great workover at FTN Network Border to Border
better known as Been Major Matt joining me right here
on the Baseball Betting Show. Is it just me or
does it feel like the bottom teams are just way
worse than the rest of the league this year? Because

(20:41):
typically you have like one or two really bad teams.
But I can't remember a team just being so much
worse than the rest of the league than the Chicago
White Sox and for that matter, the Colorado Rockies, the
Miami Marlins. These are just really uncompetitive teams and when
they go up against even a halfway decent team, they
just get slaughtered night.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
And seems, yeah, that's certainly one of those cases. I mean,
the Rockies have just been pretty bad, and usually you
could kind of count on them going to course Field
and the offense shows up.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
That is not the case.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
They have played a bunch of games at Corsefield so
far this season. They've played thirteen. They've gone over their
strikeout prop ten times. Of those thirteen games, they're averaging
six point three six strikeouts per game against starting pitching
six point eight against left handed starting pitching.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
So the Rockies are struggling in all sorts of things.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Now, maybe it gets a little bit warmer and the
ball starts jumping a little bit and the offense gets
a little bit better, but I can't exactly count on
them to do much. And then the Marlins, it's all
about the rotation and all the injuries they've had in
the rotation, and you know, they just had another one
with hay Use Lolzzardo getting scratched from his start. There's
a bunch of guys that have already been out for
this team. So I think the Marlins, who weren't necessarily
the deepest lineup, were usually trying to hope to play

(21:47):
a lot of three two games. Well, with this rotation,
they're not seeing a lot of three two games. They're
seeing a lot more seven runs or five runs being
given up by the pitching, and they don't have the
offense to make it up.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
I am so glad that you bring up the Colorado
Rockies as well, because I do think that with these
games being played out there in Mexico City with them
against Houston, Astros will dive into that specific game in
a minute, but I do think that this is honestly
a very valuable time to be able to find a
little bit of value on the Colrad.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Rocky says.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
I feel like there's going to be a lot of
people that might not attribute the fact that they played
two games in Mexico City. Bump that in with their
overall season numbers, and that might make the Colorrad Rockies
offense look a little bit better than what it is,
and that could lead to some good value on unders.
I'm not sure if you agree Slash disagree, but I
noticed this with the Giants and the Potters when they
went to Mexico City. They came back because they had

(22:35):
to adjust the elevation for one and two, of their
numbers got a little bit warped. And I do think
that the series out there in Mexico City could provide
honestly a lot of value after this weekend on those
Rockies unders.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
Well, that's assuming that the Rockies even score some runs.
They scored two runs in the first in against the
Astros and then haven't scored since then. The game's going
on as we do this, Yeah, there could be some value.
I mean, obviously, the Astros, you expect them to score
some runs in this sort of situation, especially against cal Quantrill,
especially against who they'll see on Sunday, So maybe that
will change things a little bit. But if Colorado doesn't
score here, then their offense is certainly in trouble.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
This is going to be so interesting to gauge the
Rockies moving forward, and it is going to be interesting
to gauge at Sunday game between they and the Houston
Astro says from ber Baldez, who just has not looked
like himself since the middle part of last season, is
going to be getting the start for us against Alison Gombre.
And right now we're seeing a total of sixteen and
a half. In terms of the closing total that we
saw on Saturday, it was just a hair above that.

(23:29):
Most places we're closing that more around about a sixteen
and a half. We saw some seventeens a little bit
earlier as well. How are you gauging these games in
Mexico City or is this just a case because there's
so many unknown elements that it sort of lay off
of it.

Speaker 5 (23:41):
Well, it's so funny because you know, I like to
play occasionally the first five run totals and you know,
at times I like to fade mister Quantrille and figured
in this situation he was going to be somebody you
want to fade. And I looked and it's like, oh
my god, it's four and a half. You never see
a four and a half for the first five run
total in the Rockies first five run total was three.
You know, it's one of those things where usually I

(24:02):
love fading guys coming off of the il Framber Valdez
with the elbow inflammation, certainly he's got to get himself.
This is a very interesting situation for him, having to
pitch in a game like this. Don't know how deep
he's going to go, don't know what happened to so
much in his rehab sessions. Those are kind of things
you want to take a look at. But I don't
know if I can back this Rockies offense at all,
because I don't know if they can take advantage of it.

(24:22):
They're not good against lefties, they're not good against righty's.
I don't know necessarily how I'm going to handle this
sort of situation. I might look at a strikeout prop
although the Rockies are striking out so much. It's one
of those things, whereas Framber gonna be ready to throw
a bunch of strikeouts.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
How many innings is he going to go?

Speaker 5 (24:36):
It's probably a stay away sort of situation to me,
But normally I would run to back the Astros in
this situation, but I can't with Framber Valdez coming off
the IL.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Yep absolutely and Fromber from all indications, I actually look
half way DSA for the old sugar Land Space Cowboys
in his rehab. But when you go from the Triple
A level after the big league level, to your point,
I love fading guys off theandur listen. At the same time,
I really don't want too much very part of the
corad Rocky's in any way, shape or for him either.

(25:05):
So I'm sort of in that situation with you as
well as Matt just as better known has been Major
Man is joining me right here on the Baseball Bettings Show,
and do want to dive in on this game as
I think that this one is a.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Bit of fascination.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
As you were talking about the Cleveland Guardians and how
they're looking so strong right now, and right now I'm
seeing them around plus one sixty plus one sixty five
against the Atlanta Braves. We've been Lively going for them
and Bryce Elder on the bump for the Atlanta Braves.
Lively always has a little bit of a soft spot
in my heart because when we were all going through
the pandemic in twenty twenty, he was one of the
few guys out there playing baseball for the old Samsung Lions.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
So shout out to him.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
But how do you take a look at a game
like this, because I feel like the bookmakers just have
not caught up to the Cleveland Guardians just yet, and
I'm still continuing to show a little bit of value
on them.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
Trying to look at Bryce Elder against the Marlins. To me,
Bryce Elder's okay. He's obviously like their third or fourth
best pitcher in their rotation, and it's one of those
things where I don't love his stuff. And it's interesting
because Ively has had two starts this season. He's faced
the same team both times and he's pitched better the
second time, and it's against the Red Sox, who are
a hot and cold offense. So Lively getting to see

(26:10):
the Red Sox twice and then the Braves his first
three starts of the season, that's a really tough start
to the year, but he had seven strikeouts against the
Red Sox. His strikeout number might be really interesting. The
Braves are having a little bit of an issue with
regards to strikeouts. They've gone over their kprop in five
of their last seven games. We know has been a
little free swing now most times when they make contact,
it's going over the fence or it's going you know,

(26:30):
in places where the fielders are not because they're scoring
a lot of runs. They have actually had I'm looking
here six straight games, excuse me, seven straight games where
the starting pitcher against Atlanta has.

Speaker 4 (26:40):
Allowed three earn runs or more.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
So it's one of those things where once again, much
like last year, we're probably looking at the first five
run total over for Atlanta. It feels like they rarely
sit their guys, so this is one of those things
where it doesn't matter it's Monday, Tuesday, Sunday, Thursday, whatever,
They're going to play their guys. So I might be
looking at a first five run total over for Atlanta.
Who who continues to be a really hot offense.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, with the Alanda Braves, you know that they're going
to be able to The question mark for them has
become the starting pitching, especially with Spencer Schryder currently being
on the injured list. So that's going to be a
game of big time fascination for me. And I take
a look at the board, and I was talking about
the fact that the Guardians, I feel like are being
a little bit undervalued. I look at the Royals to him,
it feels like they're really being undervalued in this spot

(27:23):
right now, Michael Walk and the Royals on the road
against the Detroit Tigers. Enterique Scoobel, and right now you're
getting with the Royals as high as a plus one
thirty eight, between plus one thirty and plus one thirty
eight total seven a half. And I love Treek Scooble
the way that he's pitch and Michael Walk, I believe
is doing for a little bit of regression. But I
take a look at this fun I feel like the
numbers have become a little bit over inflated on Scooble,

(27:43):
and I look at Walk and the Kansay Royals and
feel like they're getting a little bit disrespected here.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
Yeah, And this is one of those things where Swaka
is a very competent pitcher and you've got Scooble, who
I think it's a lot of respect. Obviously, I have
a little bit of a future on him for his
strikeouts over so so far, so good. He's been able
to flash that strikeout pitch of his. But yeah, I
think there is some value on the Royals. I don't
trust the Tigers lineup right now. I will say this,
there's two interesting hitters in this Gamez a catcher for

(28:10):
the Kansas City Royals, is eight for eighteen with three
homers against Scooble in his career and jaber Baiez is
hitting three thirty three with a homer against Michael Waka.
So certainly, if you're a DFS player or if you
play the hitting side of things, those two guys are
certainly people that you might want to see. You know,
there is some value on the Royals in this road situation.
I do like scooball. I do like Scooble In the daytime.

(28:31):
This could be one of those things where you might
want to look at a run line. Maybe you look
at the Kansas City Royals plus one and a half.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Yeah, this is a low.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Total of seven and a half. And I think that
both pitchers are going to be able to go out
there give you a relatively nice performance sout. Obviously, if
you're going to be getting a run and a f
with the Royals, you're going to be laying a little
bit of juice. But if you're taking the Detroit Tigers
on the money line, yeah, you're gonna be laying a
lot of juice there as well. And sel Big also
we've got for Sunday that would be old Patrick corbyin day.
Though contrary to popular belief, if you bet the Asles,

(29:01):
I'm the money line for every single one of Corbyn's
starts since be a part of the twenty twenty three season,
you've actually made money. That's said not necessarily because of
Patrick Corben's great pitching. He's been sort of the beneficiary
of a lot of run support whenever he's been on
the mound. Now you've got the Miami Marlins out of
minus one forty two, minus one forty five with Ryan
Weather's on the mount, total between eight and eight and
a half.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
I want to get your thoughts on this.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Game because I just take a look at this game,
and especially if you could get an eight, I just
feel like that's too low in this spot, even with
Ryan Weathers really being able to live up to his
billing as the first round pick for many years ago.

Speaker 5 (29:32):
You know what's interesting about Patrick Corbyn is that a
lot of people see that he's not doing well, and
of course the zero and three record in the six
point five to one era both ugly things. But this
team kind of leaves him out there. And you know,
this is one of those things where I've quietly kind
of taken his outs over. I had the outs over
against the Dodgers in LA on the sixteenth, and it
hit because he won six and the third innings. Whether

(29:53):
he's giving up a lot of hits and runs, he
still stays out there or when he's pitching well. You know,
he did only go five and a third against the
Dodgers his next start at home, But like, I think
his outs over is certainly something interesting, especially if it's
fifteen and a half. Because I think the books they
don't respect Patrick Corbin. So I do think with this
Miami offense the way it is, the struggling nature, plus

(30:13):
Parker only going four innings for the Nationals meeting, their
bullpen had to be used a little bit. Now, granted
it was a blowout, so it wasn't necessarily all their
best arms. I might be looking at an out's over here.
If you look at the last couple of lefties against
this lineup. Max Freed threw a complete game shutout. Im
and Aga went six innings against them, Kyle Harrison went
six innings, Chris Sale went seven innings, Free went six

(30:34):
and a third, Rodan went six innings, Cortes went eight innings.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
So to me, there might be some sneaky value on Corbin.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
I'm really hoping the books hang a fifteen and a
half because I think he can go over that thing,
whether he's pitching well or not.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
And on some of these guys that they get so
hyped up as being, oh, you have to fade this guy,
you have to fade that guy. Oftentimes the narrative goes
a little bit too far, and that's where you can
find some value. So I do love that angle there,
and and like I was as well, if you bet
on the Nationals at every single one of Patrick Corbin
start since begaining part of the twenty twenty three season,
not saying it's been a work of art, but you've

(31:07):
actually made some money as well. So sometimes you want
to be just going against the Green a little bit,
and Matt in terms of the sleek that we do
have for Sunday. Anything else that's really catching your attention,
whether it's a player prop that you like, whether it's
just a game in general that is intriguing to you,
anything else that you're really identifying.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Well, I got to touch on this because obviously I
tremendously disagree with what the Phillies are doing taking Spencer
Turnbull out of the rotation for Taiwan Walker. Taiwan Walker's
last Triple A start, he had one whiff, one whiff
on a pitch. I think he only had two strikeouts.
I think he threw a bunch of innings and pitches
and stuff. He has not looked good in his rehab,
and if he was not the guy who has made
I don't even know it's seventeen million dollars a year,

(31:43):
whatever it is, he would not be in the rotation.
I understand that they're trying to watch Spencer Turnbull, they're
trying to watch his innings because of obviously the stuff
that he's come off of, but I just don't agree
with putting Taiwan Walker out there at all. You almost
want to just let Spencer Turnbull keep pitching well and
then kind of start, you know, maybe spacing amount. We're
making it a six man rotation. But anyway, this is

(32:04):
Taiwan Walker's first start off of the rehab stint. He's
just not striking guys out, though the Daniel Padres don't
strike out as it is. I'm guessing the books are
going to hang an unfortunate three and a half for me.
So I may look at the under there, but I
tremendously disagree with Taiwan Walker coming out for the Phillies.
I'll touch on a couple of other things real quick.
Paul Goldschmidt twelve of twenty with three homers against Jose

(32:25):
Kintana in his career. So if you're a DFS guy
or a batting player prop guy, you want to.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Look at Goldschmid.

Speaker 5 (32:30):
Bookie Betts has three homers against Kevin Gossman, so does
Max Munsey. So those are two guys who have a
lot of success against Kevin Gossman. Who knows what we're
going to get it from him because he has not
pitched as well so far this season. The Dodgers probably
going to go with a bullpen game. Which means we
may see, you know, an eight and a half and
a nine if we get the full A lineup for
the Dodgers, I think the over there might be us

(32:51):
might certainly come into play. And then the last thing
is kind of watching Albert Suarez for the for the Orioles.
He's been really good. I almost think that he belongs
in this rotation. I know that they're probably going to
take him out of it, or maybe put him in
the bullpen or send him back to the minors, but
Albert Suarez has been pretty good so far. To two outings,
He's given up no earned runs against the Angels and
the Twins. This might be his last start before some

(33:14):
things change here, so we'll be looking at that as
the Baltimore Oils take on the Oakland Athletics.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Albert Swarez, by the way, has been just such a
tremendous story as well. Literally an international man of mystery
comes over from Venezuela pitch in the Knee Poem Baseball
League for quite a long time pitching the KBO. I'm
pretty sure that he pitched a little Mexican winter leg
as well. This guy is pitching like every single leg
and the face of planet Earth, that he has been

(33:40):
great for the oils back up against the la angels
that came through for me. So I really like drive
seen out of Suarez, and Matt, you're a man that
you covered darn near every single market on the face
of planet Earth. You do such a tremendous job taking
a look at the game of baseball. You do amazing
work on college basketball. I know that you do a
tremendous job on the football front of things as well.
So let me get people know what's all on tap

(34:01):
for you and how people are able to follow on
on social media and other platforms.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
Yeah, I'm in major Matt.

Speaker 5 (34:05):
On Twitter, I see that you get a lot of
questions that ask you about whether or not you like
this player prop or this first five innings bet or
whatever like that. If people want to, they can certainly
tweet me, because we always have the same thing in mind.
We always want to beat the books. You know, make
sure that you have a lot of outs. Go check
out a lot of sports books for these things, because
every K number or every out number is certainly different

(34:26):
and the juices are different. So make sure you have
plenty of outs and plenty of books. That you can
find because if you compare these things you can find
some value depending upon what book you use.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Yeap, and we always get value whenever Matt is on
the show because he does such a good job taking
a look at this great game of baseball on.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
So many different fronts and always makes us murder better.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
So big thanks to Matt Joseph Say game in Major
Mat for joining me right here on the Baseball Betting
Show now part of the vs Family podcasts and coming

give you pick some and analysis on every game on
the betting board. For this Baseball Sunday ask we touch them.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
Off, breaking down every game every day in Major League Baseball.
This is the Baseball Betting Show. Here is your host,
Greg Peterson.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Come, we'll bag You'll love me Las Vegas, the Baseball
Betting Show with myself Greg Peterson Now for the Vson
Family and podcast. Always great to be joined by Matt
Joseph's better known as Bien Major Matt, who does such
excellent work taking a look at this great game that
we all know and love, the baseball, and he does
so many great things. He does a tremendous job on
the college basketball front does a great job on the
football front as well. Every single time he joins his

(35:31):
podcast won such good insights. So hey, big thanks to
them for joining me in the last segment. Now it
is that time in the podcast I give you pick
some analysis on every game on the betting board for
this Baseball Sunday as we touch them all.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
If a game is listed on the betting board, Greg
has a side and the total on it, so it
is time to touch them all.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Do you note that, as per usual, any changes there
made to these plays, we'll be listened up on my
Twitter slash x feed at gen and are forty one
gonna be going on Las Vegas rotation order. This is
where we go to the Nation League games first, then
the American League games, any injured league games, those are
gonna be at the bottom. That'll keep things all nice, kneat,
clean and easy. So without further ado, let's have it
on this first game out of nine to fifty one,

(36:08):
nine to fifty two on the betting board. It is
the Washington Nationals. They are on the road. They're facing
out against the Miami Marlins. Ryan Weathers goes for the
Marlins and Patrick Corbin is on the bumper. Washington total
is anywhere between an eight and eight and a half
open up at an eight with the over any between
minus one fifteen to one minus one twenty hundreds between
even a minus one o five on the eight and
a half unders between minus one fifteen to one minus

(36:29):
one twenty that overs any between even a minus one
oh five with the fish between minus one thirty eight
to minus one forty five plus one twenty to plus
one twenty eight is your number on the nationals. Now,
I'm gonna be willing to lay it with the Miami Marlins.
Maybe I'm just a sucker for pain. I did set
them out of minus one sixty two as really the
lone competent pitcher for the Miami Marlins as farthest season

(36:49):
other than Edward Cabrera. Edward Cabrera has been okay, though
he didn't have a great outing yesterday. Has been Ryan Weathers,
a former first round pick that looked like he was
a flopperoni but he can. In his spring training it
looks solid and thus far this season he's been able
really up and swinging miss stuff throughout his MLB career,
more on seven strike cuts per nine and ennings this
year twenty three punch outs in twenty five and two

(37:10):
thirds innings, so gives up a few more walks than
you'd like, a little bit north of four walks per
nine innings, but has reduced enter contact. And for Patrick Corbyn,
he was actually a very profitable pitcher last year, but
it's going straight down the toilet pool for him right now.
He's only given up three home runs in twenty seven
to two thirds inx, but he has just allowed a
whole lot of contact, and it's not great when you're
a pitch of contact guy, as Patrick carbon is getting

(37:32):
less than seven half strike cuts per nine and ennings
when you're giving up dar near four walks per nine nings,
eleven walks and twenty seven plus innings for the Washington Nationals,
just haven't gotten a lot of pop out of the
guys that you signed in the offseason as well. Joey
Callo literally has forty three strike cuts in one single
as far this season.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
That's not great.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Now, what has been solid is Jesse Winker. They pick
him up in the offseason. He's been able to supply
trio fime runs four on bees. He has been fine,
but you need a little bit more out of some
of the returning players, as well as Eddy Rosario in
the offseason. He's hitting a miserable zero ninety four, but
you haven't been able to get a lot of the
catcher spot in general. Keiber Wiez has been on the
show for quite a bit. Layne Thomas has not been

(38:09):
what he was a season ago. Join manssl looks like
he's starting to pick it up as yet to hit
home run, but now sitting above a two fifty and CJ.
Abrams has been amazing six home runs, some souling bases
three seventy one base so he's been able to do
his part, but Nanchels are getting a little bit less
contact than he did a season Goo with like so
Gallen company just taking up rossers pots. And for Miami
it's been rough for them with Jake Berger dealing with injuries.

(38:31):
He's really their top power rider. Though to have Brian
Daala Cruz has mayle supply five home runs as far
this season. Been able to have Luis Arise move line
hitting above threw but you need more on Tim Anderson,
Tim Anderson, a sus Sanchez, Nick Flash, Gordon, Josh Bell,
all these guys during a two twenty five or lower,
all with below a two seventy five on base, you're
not even getting a lot of power out of a

(38:52):
lot of these guys as well. That's a little bit rough,
but it is a Washington Nationals bullpend then, even though overall,
if you look at the numbers, they've been a halfway
decent bullpen thus far this season. You've got a few
guys like Derek Laud, Jordan Weams film Florida have come
in and all down the fourth some of your trepidations, Aaron,
Certainly it's Miami Marlins bullpen that is in the bottom
five in the big leagues with regards to ERA, they

(39:12):
have not been tremendous either, as you've got so many
guys have just really pooped the bet on you. Anthony Bender,
along George Soriano, Matt Andrees, these are all guys supposed
to up north of five ERA thus far this season.
Brit Smith has actually been halfway okay for this team.
But I do think that Ryan Weathers is gonna be
able to go out there. Lenda relatively get started. For
Badger Corbin, it's just been all sorts of rough for

(39:34):
him thus far. The season did something till it at
eight point four sell my trepidations with this Miami Marlins lineup,
so wouldn't be willing to take an eight and a
half over, but it's still seeing plenty of beats out
there on the eighth. I do like the over, and
with the Miami Marlins, gonna be willing to lay the
money line. Don't trust in them enough on the run line,
but I do think that they get the job done
against our good friend of mister Corbin. So looking at
the money line of the fish and looking at the over,

(39:55):
now here comes by a daintwork right to pick. Let's
stay hot with these. I'm fifty three nine FI fifty
four on the card. It is the Saint Louis Cardinals
on the road, basicly off against the New York Metsjsekitana
is on the bump for the Mets and Lanceloin is
on the bump for Saint Louis. Saint Louis is between
even money to minus one of five. Meanwhile between minus
one tendo minus one eighteen is number ond the Mets.
It is a total under is between minus one tendo

(40:17):
minus one fifteen. The over sending between minus one of
five to a minus one ten and right up is
going to be on the Mets money line. I did
set them at a minus one fifty eight. Now, the
one thing that does give me a little bit pause,
and I know that Matt pointed this out in the
last segment. Paul Golchmid has owned the soul of Oseai
Kitana throughout his career, hitting north of a five hundred
with a few home runs. So that is a little

(40:37):
bit of an issue there you have. But I do
think that Osekitana is going to be able to go
out there and still lend him relatively solid start. Ever
since joining the New York Mets has not been too
much of a strike cup guy. And it's two seasons
with the Mets. He's only getting about seven strikecoups per
nina and ings, and you'd like to see him cut
down on the walks a little bit as well. Fourteen
walks in twenty five and two thirds innings as far
this season. That's more than what he had a season ago.

(40:58):
But he does a nice job of being able to
do some soft contacts and shoining the Mets, giving up
about zero point seventy five home runs per nine and
nning's out there and a little bit more of a
pitcher's ballpark, and has been quite a bit better when
he has been in New York rather than on the road.
That dates back to last season as well, more than
a full point on his ra better at home rather
than away from moment for lance Lynn, even though he's

(41:18):
got that two eighty one era as of right now,
he's coming off of giving up forty four home runs
last season that led the leg and if you look
at the advanced numbers more around about a four to
forty field thee dependent he's still given up four home
runs at twenty five to two thirds innings thus far
the season. He's still giving up three and a half
walks per nine ennings. His strikeouts per nine rate as
the lowest has been since the twenty seventeen campaign. He's

(41:40):
been a little bit fortunate on the balls and play
as far the season, and he's not backed up by
the same bullpen that you have with the New York Mets. Now,
Mets did have to expand a little bit of their
bullpen yesterday because Adrian olser a pitch a little bit
more like Dougie Ouser. But going into Saturday, Met's number
seven in the big leagues with reguards their bullpenning. Your
raight at two eighty five Cardinals more around fourteenth than
the leg though for the Cardinals. So you've been able
I have if you guys do a nice job holding

(42:01):
down the fort. Ryan Elslie, he's an All Star from
a few seas ago. He has been rock solid, but
was really the long guy returning from the season ago
with a sub three to five. Here you've had Jojo
Romero give you some good endings, like the pickup of
Ander Kittridge Bud.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
With the Mets. You know of Edwin Diaz back to
the fold.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
He is legitimately a minimum top three closer out there
in the big league, say be Neil. With the injury
to Brooks Raley, that does hurt them a little bit,
But all these other guys have been able to do
a nice job of folding down the fort. I had
him out of Vino has been pretty solid over the
last few seasons. Jake Deekman had a little bit of
a career resurgence with the Rays. And Rie Garrett has
honestly been really good in the bullpen. I don't know
how long lasting that's going to be, but so far,

(42:38):
so good out of him and for this New York
Mets team. They entered into Saturday in the upper half
of the league in terms of runs per game, a
top ten team with regards to their home runs, with
Pete Alonso being able to sply eight of those bounds
thus far this season. Francisco Lindor is still hitting right
round two hundred, but things are starting to come back
around for him, and then been able to get some
good production recently out of Brett Eddie, Harrison Bader. These

(42:58):
guys moving the line tyrone tables hitting above three and
has been pretty rock solid for this New York Mets team.
And I do think that for the sandless Cardinals, you
have to have a lot of pause. With this offense,
we're able to get a little bit more ignited on Saturday,
but entered into Saturday aftering just three point five runs
per game. Their home runs entering into Saturday dead last
in the National League, and for that matter, I believe

(43:18):
that they've still only had five home runs in their
last twelve games.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
In total.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
You do have Paul Golchmid has owned Osaikitana, but he's
had a rough start to the season and just a
two to fourteen with two home runs. You do have
Wilson Turis, who's been tremendous. I believe he's got four
home runs or with a four on base. But a
lot of these guys towards the bottom of the fold,
Noel Gorman along with something like a Devon Harrerio, Michael Sanie,
these guys have just not been able to do a
lot for you. Jordan Walker has been miserable as far

(43:44):
this season as well. So I do think that Kitana
is gonna be able to lend a relatively solid sorry,
I think that lance Lynn is going to continue to
be when lance Lynn has been a not so great pitcher.
I did somebody told them an eight point three. I
do think that the Cardinals generate a little bit of
something off of Kitana, but I think that the best
get to lind Up a little bit more. So I'd
like the over and I d can how to pick
that is going to be the Mets on the money
line nine fifty five, nine fifty six on the bay board,

(44:05):
the San Francisco Giants player see Pittsburgh Pirates. Jared Jones
goes for the Black goes in Keaton winn Is on
the bump for the Giants. The Giants find themselves as
very slim favorites any between minus one eleven to minus
one of six. Meanwhile, between minus one oh one to
minus one oh four is that number on Pittsburgh seven
half in is the total unders between minus pontendo minus
one twenty v overs any between even to mius one ten.

(44:28):
I did set the Pirates as a plus one eighteen hunderdog.
I'm going to be one to lay with the San
Francisco Giants. Now have to have a lot of repidation
with the Giants. They have been a pound of five
team in terms of Bullpenny ray pretty much for the
entirety of the season. So I do think that they're
going to pick it up a little bit. Camellion Devols
in absolutely tremendous closer, Taylor and Tyler Rodgers are both
competent out there in the bullpenny. You think that lander
Rop is going to be able to find his footing

(44:48):
as well. And then for the Giants, the lineup has
been pretty solid thus far. You've got Lamontwaye juniors just
finding a way to get on base for sixty six
on base, you haven't been able to get a lot
of on base for Matt Chapman, but he Ord Hilaire.
They're two big offseason signings, both the four home runs.
As far as the season, Michael Conforto has really founded.
He's been able to five bombs and Jungle Lee. I

(45:08):
feel like he's even bad better than the three forty
on base would indicate. Every single time he's at the plate,
he's not streaking out. He's given you a good at bets.
So that's something that you do like to see in
Patrick Bailey Man they hit that walk off home run
a few days ago. He's up to nearly a three
hundred average with a bit of pop. Meanwhile, for the Pirates,
just been a rough go ofent for them. On offense,
They've got twenty one home runs in twenty seven games.

(45:29):
As far this season, you've had this team be able
to have a few guys moving the line as Bryan
Reynolds Cabrian Ayes both providing North with a three to
sixty on base along counter Joe, but the young guys
like Oneo Cruz has really fallen off less than a
three hundred one base had a nice start to the season.
He hasn't been able to give you too much. The
power bats and rowdy de Lez Jacks Winiski, these guys
are both thinking below the windows line two hundred without

(45:50):
a lot of home runs. And for the Pirates right now,
bottom down in the team in the big leagues in
terms of VRA in the bullpen as world as Chapman
north of a sixty RA, he has been miserable. This
team is really in my opinion missing Ryan Brooki is
a really good back end of the bullpen piece guy
David Benar, Colin Holderman. These guys have been fine, but
past that you don't necessarily have a ton of depth.
And for the Pittsburgh Pirates Shared Jones he has been

(46:13):
a strikeout or as far he has been able to
supply north of eleven strakehouts per nine nunnies, but he
has given up five home runs in his five starts
as well, so when he does give up contact it
goes to very long ways. Now, I do like the
fact that he's been able to command quite well just
four walks in twenty nine innings as far this season,
and honestly, I think that he's even pitched better than
two seventy ninety area, but Keaton Winn has been able

(46:33):
to do a nice job holding down the fourth. He's
not necessary as much of a strikeout guy, only getting
about seven a half punchouts for nine nunnies, but two
runs are fear surrendered in each of his last three starts.
Has really been able to cut down on the walks
as well, one walk or fewer in three out of
his five starts as far this season, being able to
utilize this ballpark to his advantage because he is a
little bit more of a pitch of contact guy. I
think that that's going to work out for him against

(46:53):
a Pirates team that frankly just is not gendering a
lot of offense. I did something total at some point
eight mainly because he see bowlpens have not been great
to say the least. I do think the Giants to
generate a little bit of offense here. I did set
the Giants out of minus one eighteen. So like them
on the money line and going to be taking a
look at this seven a half over nine fifty seven,
nine to fifty eight on the bank board. The Philadelphia
Phillies at the road, they're facing off against the San

(47:14):
Diego Podres says, Michael King hopes to be the king
for the Potters and Taimon Walker is going to be
on the bump for the Phillies. Phillies are an underdog
of any between plus one fourteen to a plus one
twenty Meanwhile, between minus one twenty eight to minus one
thirty five. It's the number on King and the Pods
and your total uns game. It is eighty over his
minus one fifteen. The under is minus one oh five
and I am right there with Matt Joseph's on this one.

(47:35):
I'm going to be taking the Potters on the money line.
I don't understand why Timwon Walker is getting the start
here after he had so much good will in general
from Spencer Turnbull. If you take a look at what
timon Walker did and his reab appearances trying to get
ramp back up for this, it's not like he was
necessarily getting a lot of strikeouts. He pitched fifteen innings
at the minor league level, and you got six strikeouts

(47:56):
in those fifteen innings. He was very much pitching contact
and that really has been just him over the last
few seasons, and he was charmed to not have more
than a four to thirty eight era that he had
a season goal last year some point two strike cuts
to three point seven walks, ber nine and endings. It's
always been relatively solid at being able to keep the
ball in the yard and pitching at Petco. That is
going to be able to help him out in this ordeal.
But I just don't understand why you don't have Spencer

(48:19):
turn Bulls starting personally and in his first start off
with the injured list. I don't have high expectations for him,
especially being backed up by a Phillies bullpen that entered
into this series in the bottom three in the Big
Leagues in terms of their bullpenny ra. You've been able
to get a few solid endings out of Jeff Hoffman,
who I really like, and Junior Marte, But you, Jake,
a look at the guys that you expect to be
so good for this bullpen may have been anything but that.

(48:41):
Jose Alvarado, sar Anthony Dominguez, Gregory Soto all north of
a five YARRA thus far this season. Meanwhile, for the
Phillies are starting to really pick it up with their baths.
Ever since coming off the paternity leave, Pryce Harper has
been out, he's up to six home runs, three forty
on base, he's back online. You've got Brandon marsh who's
been able to give you six home runs. He has
been rock solidating for north of a two seventy five
trade turner, not honestly, he'supplying a lot of home runs

(49:01):
but hanging above three. Nick Castianos finally got his first
home run season and Kyle Schwarber containing it right around
at two ownerd but he continues to give you home
runs find his way on base. So he's been pretty
good on that front end. For Michael King ever since
becoming a starter really in late August of the twenty
twenty three season with the Yankees, has been able to
supply a sub three three era. He's been able to
do a nice job going out there night and night

(49:22):
out and being able to deliver still a bunch of
strikeouts much like he did in the bullpen. He's still
giving you about ten punchdouts for nine endings this season
now coming off of a rough starting cours Field, but
at his cores field, and that'll happen to.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
You from time to time.

Speaker 3 (49:34):
And he's really only had one home start as far
as the season that was giving up two runs in
his start against the San Francisco Giants. Now granted only
went four innings in that one. He just didn't have
command that night. But he is backed up by a
bullpen that, even though they did poop the bed a
few days ago against the colrad Rockies, it's been about
a league average bullpen in terms of v RA. They
pick up on Yo Delos, Santos, Yuki met Suie couple

(49:55):
with also Janni Peralta. Balta had that rough go of
it against Colorado a few days ago, but all in all,
these guys have been relatively saw it. They had Jeremiah
Estrata Somoy liked over at with the Cubs to this
bullpen as well, got Roberts Waas who's been relatively saw
it at the closerspoting for this Padres lineup. I do
like what they're able to provide. You've been able to
get some really nice pop out of Fernando Tatis Junior

(50:15):
entered into yesterday with six home runs, being able to
give you about a three thirty five on base Drix
and pro far Luis Capusano both ending above a two
seventy five, along with Ugay Rosario. These guys have been
able to do solid job of reaching base. Need a
little bit more on his Xander Boguards and Manny Machado
spent a little bit in and out of the fold
last few days. But on all this is a team that,
even though they don't have as much pop as they

(50:36):
did a season goo, they've got guys getting on base,
with Jackson Merril towards the bottom of the fold really
being able to do a nice job of that. So
I do think that the Patters get to tie one walker.
I think that it's going to be a death by
a million cuts here, and I do think that the
Patters find a way to be able to get it done.
I did something, I tot it at eight point two.
I don't think the walker is going to be long
for this game, so I like the over end. I'm
willing the lay updo mins one forty three on this

(50:56):
Patres money line nine fifty nine, nine sixty. On the
bank board, the Baltimore Orioles to the Oakland A's Paul
Blackburn is on the bump for the A's Alberts is
on the bump for Baltimore. Baltimore between minus one seventy
to minus twenty the favorites plus one fifty to plus
one sixty is at number on Oakland eight to eight
and a half.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
It's a total on the.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
Eight overs between mine twenty two and mice twenty five,
the unders between even a plus one to five on
the eight and a half unders minus one fifteen. They
overs mines one of five need at lisa a plus
one sixty seven to take shot on the Oakland A's.
If you're looking to lay a run and a half
with Baltimore, you're going to be getting right in the
neighborhood of about a plus one fifteen or so. And
that's enough for me to be able to dive in here.
I needed at least a plus one fifteen, and it

(51:34):
looks like we're going to be able to get there.
It's an Oriole squad that has been able to do
a nice job against this Oakland A team that has
been Oaks opesky and for Baltimore, they just fly out
of the best home run nitting team right now in
the big leagues. Gunner Henderson has been able lead the
way with eight home runs, but with Jackson Holliday now
at the minor league level, pretty much one through nine.
With this Baltimore Orioles lineup, you don't have a single

(51:55):
easy out that you can really identify. As a matter
of fact, you take a look at the lineup that
they throw out there yesterday, you had two guys are
hitting below a two point fifty on the roster. I
think they had two guys below two ninety four in
terms of around base percent. You've just got everyone that's
able to supply the boom at Lee Rushman and Ryan Mountcastle.
Now going deep for the team yesterday is big. Jordan
Westburg has been able to give you four plus home runs.

(52:16):
He's hitting above a three hundred. Coln Kowser has been
white on. He's been able to above a three hundred
with six home runs just up and down the bowlevard
rightings versus lefties. They've got enough depth to be able
to put two in there. And the problem for the
Oakland A's is what we saw on display yesterday. This
is just not a team that's playing a lot of offense.
They actually lead the leg and home runs on the
road per game, but also in the bottom four in

(52:37):
the Big leagues in terms of runs per game on
the road and the biggest reason why is that you
don't have anyone that's just able to move the line
other than their top two hitters yesterday and Tyler Nevin
as Stereo Ruiz. Among the eleven players that saw at
least one at bat yesterday, they were the only two
hitting above a two twenty three, and they were the
only two with above a two ninety two on base.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
That's just a big giant issue.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
You've got shave Leg Larras has been able to give
you five home runs, Das a little bit of pop
in the bad and Sarah Uiz is a nice base
sealer when he's able to get on Mace, but again,
who's going to be able to drive him in now?
For the Aces has been a top ten teamager as
a bullpenny right, And I think that they're actually here
to say I like what I've seen out of Lucas Sersage.
He casts off of the Brewers. He's went from being
an infielder to now being a great relief pitcher. Austin Adams,

(53:19):
Michael Kelly, they've been able to solid job a lot
to any Amennez, but he just flat on arm putting
up a lot of runs. And for Paul Blackburn. We
saw him just get completely smoked in his last start.
Overall for the season has been solid with a two
oh three ARRA, but gave up four runs and six
innings against the New York Yankees. He does not quite
pitch the same when he's away from home rather than
when he's at home, and he's had some very interesting splits,

(53:40):
like one year he was like terrible at home, amazing
on the road. Last year is pretty good at home,
pretty bad on the road. Not a guy that's gonna
get a lot of strikeouts, as he's only posting up
about seven strikeouts for nine and ennings and goes up
against the international Man of Mystery and Albert Suarrez, who
in two starts he's been able to go five to
two thirds innings in both of them, has allowed just
two walks, not a ton of strikeouts, but on all

(54:02):
has looked really good for this Baltimore oriol Seami's backed
up by a bullpen that has been a roundabout leag
average in terms of their era, but it's sending a
little bit northward. Can Craig Kimberl is always a little
bit of role that I see at a little bit
of a rough go of it on Friday, but has
been relatively solid.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
But Jacob Web.

Speaker 3 (54:17):
Doing te in your cano, Danny Koloom, these are all
guys have been able to supply some three two era.
I do like that they're able to provide overall. And
I do think that for the Oakland A's, they're just
lack of being able to move the line and get
on base is going to really cost him. And this
one did something I told it at eight point four. Personally,
I would rather have an eight and a half under
rather than an eight over. I do feel like the
Oakland A's just aren't really gonna be able to do

(54:38):
their part with this total. I like what I've seen
out of sports, and I do think the Blackburn still
gives you a relatively solid start. But I think that
Baltimore is gonna be able to cover this run line
just because I think that they hold down the Oakland
a So I like the under and the run line
of Baltimore nine sixty one, nine sixty two on the
betting board. They can't see Royals. They throw out their
facing off against it. De Trey Tigers says. Dreik Skuble
is on the bump for the Tigers and Michael Waka.

(54:58):
If he has matched start, it becomes Michael Waka Waca
waca lacka wack.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
Hutch he goes.

Speaker 3 (55:03):
For the cans Roils, that would be the dying pac
Man voice. As for the Royals, anywhere between plus one
thirty and plus one thirty eight is your number on them,
and between minus one fifty to minus one fifty five
is your price. On the Detroit Tigers. Seven a half
is a total, under is minus one twenty and the
over is even. And for the Cansy Rails, hopefully we
don't have a dying pac Man voice because I was
willing to take a plus one twenty or higher with them.

(55:25):
I love the way that Tree Skouble has been able
to pitch at home really over his career. He's got
an ERA for his career in Detroit about one point
three points lower than it is away from home, and said,
I still have a little bit of trepidation with laying
quite this big of a number with the Detroit Tigers.
Even though the lineup has been significantly better for Detroit,
they have found a way to be able to get
to four runs that darn near all of their games

(55:46):
they've gone to at least four runs in all but
three out of the last eleven games. You've got Marcanna
Long Rightley Green who entered in the estray with five
home runs a piece, both being able to sply north
of a three seventy five on base entering into that game,
but sell a lot of dead bats out there, key
as Parker Meadow's Hobby Baiaz all inning below the Midols.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
I have two hundred.

Speaker 3 (56:04):
Got Spencer Turko Sin who's only been able toply you
with about a two twenty five average and entered into
yesterday with as many home runs as myself, So that's
a little bit less than impressive. You've got a Royal
team that has been a little bit inter miss at
the plate themselves, and they can't say Royals. They do
have some of the biggest home and roads plays in
the league. It's not quite the Colrade or Rockies. But
that said, when it comes to the Kansa City Royals,

(56:25):
they've been averaging right around about five point two runs
per game at home, closer to about three point nine
runs per game.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
When they have been away from home.

Speaker 3 (56:31):
Thought Vinnie Pascantino, Salvador Perez, Bobby with Junior mikel Garcia.
We've all been able to spaly at least four home
runs as far this season. The issue that you do
have for them is the bottom of the fold. You
do have a lot of guys like counter Renfro, Michael Massey,
Deaddy Mblanco, Adam Frazier onlying a two to ten or
lower with not a lot of pop in their bats.
Salvador Paraz though hitting a three fifty has been incredible,
Bobby with Junior does a nice job but be able

(56:53):
to find a way to move the line. And both
of these bullpens have been relatively solid. The Tigers, they
do have the leg up there. They entered into the
series in the top two in the big leagues in
terms of bullpenning. Ray Really, all these guys that you
have in the bullpen have been very rock solid, as
I think the only bullpen piece that currently has an
ERA above five is Tyler Holton. He had a little
bit of a calamity in that first game of the
series against the Can't Say Rolls. But these guys like

(57:15):
Alex Fayedo, Andrew Chafin, Alex lang Shelby Miller also playing
a less than three ERA, has been impressive and for
the Royals, I think that there's gonna be a little
bit of regression with the likes of Chris Stranton, Will Smith,
James MacArthur, guys like this, But all in all, they've
done a nice shop holding down the fort. John Schreiber,
Matt Sewer, these guys have been able to do a
nice job. And I do think that Michael Waka, even
though over the last few seasons he's had to feel

(57:36):
the independent dating back to really the start of the
twenty twenty one season that's about point six points higher
than his era, is going to be able to go
out there give you a relatively solid performance. Is out
a guy that is laying the world on fire in
terms of his strikeouts per nine rate or anything like that,
but has been able to do a relatively sturdy job
holding down the fort, buzzing up three eighty one year
and give it up just two runs in twenty eight
and a third innings. He gives out less than three walks.

(57:57):
Bernie and Ennings as well, while t Ree Scoball has
no doubt about it. Ben and Press if he's been
able to give you about ten and a half to
eleven straight cuts per nine nings. His box per nine
rate is below two as well as given up just
two home runs. But I do think that this summer
has gotten a little bit too lofty, especially with the
Tigers team that they do have their issues on offense.

Speaker 2 (58:13):
So it is a.

Speaker 3 (58:14):
Circumstance where I did somebody told at some point eight.
I do think that the Tigers get a little bit
to walk, and I do think that the Royals are
gonna be able to get to Scoogle a little bit
as well. I think that he and the bullpen doing
for a little bit of regression. So I like the over,
and I do like plus one twenty or higher with
the Royals nine sixty three, nine sixty four on the
bending board, the Chicago White Sox BA Yo Sea Tampa
Bay Rays. Zach Little is on the bump for the
Rays and Eric Fetti Wapp is going to be going

(58:35):
for the White Sox. White Sox are between plus one
fifty four plus one sixty two hunderdogs between minus one
seventy seven minus one nineties and number on Tampa Bay
eight and a half is a total over. It is
between minus one fifteen to a minus one twenty eight unders.
Any retweet even and minus one oh five, and with
the Rays, I set them at a minus one ninety seven.
I'm willing to go up to a minus one thirty
on the run line right now. Find that at a

(58:56):
minus one fifteen, so sign me up there. It's been
a bunch in the Rays have been very rudderless in
the bullpen. They're a bottom five team, durms a bullpenn
in a they place Pete Fairbanks on the injured list.
But I do think that Zach Little, after having a
rough go of it last time out, he gives up
six runs, five of which will earn against the Detroit Tigers,
and he's gonna be able to get back on the
straightened path that he's gonna be able to do a

(59:17):
much better job as he does a nice job but
not allowing walks less than two walks per nine innings
since becoming a starter last season, and his swinging mis
stuff is up twenty nine strikeouts in twenty seven innings
as far the season, He's got about a three thirty
three er in a field independent that's been pretty sterling
as well. Meanwhile, Eric Fetti has really been one of
the nice bright spots for the Chicago White Sox goes
to the KBO. He was with the nced Dinos, who

(59:39):
has a great maskout right. There was tremendous there and
he's got back to the big leagues and his swinging
min stuff is unlike anything we've ever seen from him.
As when he was with the Washington Nationals he was
right around about his six a half to his seven
strikeout per nine and any guy, it's here thirty punchouts
in twenty six and the third innings giving up about
three walks per nine innings. He has been great. He's
given up two runs or fewer in four out of

(01:00:00):
his five starts. As far as this season, the problem
is the shlubs in the bullpen arrive for him no
support whatsoever. As this White Sox team is in the
bottom eight in the Big leagues in terms of their
bullpenny Ray. You've got a few guys that have been
relatively okay. You've got a sub to era out of
Jordan Leisure, which has been nice. But we've got so
many guys that they come into a game and just
don't know what you're gonna be able to get out
of him. Tim Ill, Michael Kopek, Domine Leone Davy Garcia

(01:00:24):
posting up north of Bay four to six ERA, and
for the Tampa Bay race, with Fairbanks currently being out fold,
you're going to be relying upon the likes of Garret Clevenger,
Jason Adam, guys that do have an ice track record
of success. Philm Aton has had a rough start to
the season, but I think that he's going to be
able to pick it up in For the Chicago White Sox,
credit where credit is due. The offense has looked a
little bit better. They've now gotten into at least three

(01:00:44):
runs in each other last five games, still averaging for
the season right around about two point five to two
point six runs per game, depending upon how many scored
on Saturday. But I said, you just still take a
look at this lineup, and you've got so many guys
like Andrew Attendee, Andrew Vaughn, Marteamo. These guys are just
dead beats at the plate. Nicky Bopez. Although you get
two twenty five or less while being dead last in

(01:01:06):
the big leagues in terms of total home runs, that's
not great though. Paul de Young, he's been able to
give the Seams some nice at bats, and for the
Tampa Bay race. You need to get Randy rose Arena going.
He's providing right now. He's one seventy five. Batting average
has not been great, but Richie Palasios, it's been able
to give you a four hundred on base. I really
like to pick up if Jared Calbrao, he's been able
to do a nice jobting you. Two seventy five doesn't
necessarily supply a lot of pop, but Amitosario Ben road

(01:01:28):
Fit they've beenhating well above three hundred. Eastach Parades has
really been the straw that serves a drink for the
line up in the middle of the fold. Three fifty
on base, been able to supply six home runs. I
do think that the White Sox struggles they do just continue.
And I do think that the Rays are gonna be
able to get to Eric Fetty a little bit. As
Eric Fetti has been giving up a lot of home runs,
he's lucky to have the era that he does. So
I did so buy total at at eight point two

(01:01:48):
here date eight and a half. I just can't count
on the White Sox. Heuring the part on this subtle,
So I'm gonna be looking at the under and I'm
gonna be one to lay a run and a half
with the Tampa Bay race nine sixty five, nine sixty
six on the bank board. It is the miniest of
twins on the road against the La Angels. As Reed
Debt Meers goes for the Angels and Bablo Lopez is
on the bump for the twins, and the twins are
it's like favorites any between minus one oh eight two

(01:02:09):
minus one fifteen and between even money to minus one
of five is that number on the Halos. Eight is
a total over an underbollt to minus one ten. I
set the Angels out of minus one thirty two. I'm
gonna be one to rock with them on the money line.
Reed Debt mes has actually been really good thus far
of the season for the La Angels. He to take
a look at his strikeout numbers. They have been pretty supreme.
Gave up a few solo runs in his last start

(01:02:30):
against Baltimore Oials, but I passed that he's been pretty
outstanding those far the season. Two point two year, a
two eighty two field, they get a pen a ten
and a half straightcuts to about three walks. Berni and
Nning's giving up about zero point six home runs, Berni
and nings. He can ask for too much.

Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
More out of him.

Speaker 3 (01:02:44):
Meanwhile, for Pablo Lopez, really, since he got to UH Minnesota,
he's been one of the more unlucky pitchers out there
in the big leagues. He's getting swings and missus. He's
doing a nice job of being able to keep the
walks down. As a matter of fact, since begining part
of the twenty twenty three campaign, three seventy five year
a to three thirty six fielding independent allowing one home
run with ten and a half straight cuts to two

(01:03:04):
point two walks for nine and he has deserved a
much better faith than what he's gotten. And he is
backed up by a bullpen of the Minister Twins, and oh,
by the way, they are still one of the best
out there in the big leagues. Cody Funderberg has been
able to do a really exceptional job and be able
to supply a sub three era. I don't think the
prox Steward has given up a run all season long.
You get killed the o bar back at the Fold.
They entered into Saturday in the top five of the
big leagues in terms of bullpenny ray and it's got

(01:03:26):
what it is the La Angels did not. They were
twenty fourth in the Big league. Says there right now,
dumpster driving with guys like Hunters Stricklin, Adam simber ose
c Saraho. These guys have been cast outs for other teams,
so I do like Matt Moore Carlos Sevas in the
eighth and ninth inning, And for the Angels, it's us
all about can the top of the lineup be able
to get something going because entering into Saturday Night Mike

(01:03:47):
Trout Taylor Ward I combined seventeen home runs between these
two guys. Totally hasn't him for evert He's only hanging
about a two thirty as far as the season, but
he's on a nice job and be able to drive
himself in with those central runs thirteen RBI. But it's
really some of these guys starts bomb the full. They
need to pick it up, as you've had the likes
of Brandon Drury, Noah Chanal, Mickey Moniac, Aaron Nix alliding below.

Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
A two fifteen.

Speaker 3 (01:04:10):
Meanwhile, for the Minnesota Twins, this team is in the
bottom three in the Big leagues with regards to overall
batting average, but a top ten team in turns of
home runs. Edward Julien seven home runs, a nine RBI.
He's trying to do his best Mike Droud impression. He's
been able to about a two twenty five along with
Willie Kass Show got Ryan Jeffers, Alex Kurloff to a
nine job.

Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
I'll be able to move the line.

Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
But you just take a look at this bunch among
players that are currently healthy as you got Carlos Korea
currently on the injured list, Trevor Laarnisch, Alex Kurloff, Ryan
Jeffers are pretty much like the only three guys with
north of fifty eight bats as far this season. They
are providing north of two to forty five average, and
it's relatively rough to say the least. And for the
La Angels, I do think that they're going to be
able to get just enough of those top guys, and

(01:04:49):
you've had Logan O Hoppy do a solid job as
well to be able to get the job done in
this ordeal. I do think that there's going to be
a pair of great starts as well, lent by our
good friends at Reed det Meers and Pablo Lopez. So
it's something I told at some point here at the eight.
I like the under, but I set the angels more
round a minus one thirty two. I trusted Devers. I'm
gonna be going with the Angels on the line and
this little under nine sixty seven, nine to sixty eight
on the bank board. The Alta Braves playouts to the

(01:05:11):
Cleveland Guardians. Ben Lively is on the bump for the
Guardians and Bryce Elder is on the bump for Atlanta.
Nine is a total over an under both of minus
one ten. With the Braves, you're going to be gaining
them between minus one seventy six to at minus one
ninety two, between plus one fifty eight to a plus
one sixty five. That's your number on Cleveland. Needed least
a plus one sixty two to take a shot on Cleveland,
but I'm gonna be one to do so. Ever since

(01:05:31):
Ben Lively has returned from South Korea, he's been a
relatively solid pitcher. He does give up the deep ball
a little bit more than what you'd like. Ever since
he has resurfaced at the big league level, giving up
north with one point sent five home runs per nine
and nings. That said, you've still been able to get
him to be able to lend some really nice starts,
and first two starts of the season that he's put
up deserves much better than the one run one record,

(01:05:51):
as he has went eleven and a third innings, struck
out fourteen, giving up three runs along the way. He
has really done a nice job in his command as well,
since we're turning from the KBO less than two and
a half walks per nine and enning, so I do
like his overall game. And then on the flip side,
we've got Bryce Elder who was so so lucky in
terms of the front half of the season last year.
He was playing paying for his sins a little bit

(01:06:13):
later on in the campaign. But for Bryce Elder, he's
still just not a swing and miss guy. Ever since
the beginning of the twenty twenty three campaign, if you
take a look at his thirty two total starts, he
has been averaging about six point six strikeouts to three
point one walks perny and n he's a three sixty
seventy or a compared to a four to thirty five failed.
The Independent does a good job of inducing some soft contact,
but he does give up quite a bit of contact

(01:06:33):
in general, and this Cleveland Guardians team not looking to
rip the cover off the ball. They have been able
to put up about twenty six home runs in twenty
six games as far this season, which is much better
than what they were a season go. And you've got
Josh Naylor, Ozary Ramirez commanding for about eleven home runs.
Ramira is not drawing any walks whatsoever, but you know
what he along Andrey Semenez while sitting right around about
a two sixty, Josh Naylor has been able to give

(01:06:54):
you about a three to sixty on base as well.
And then Stephen Kwant He's been able to give you
a little bit more power three seventy five on base.
But you do need some of these guys at the
bottom fold, like Tyler Freeman, like a Bow Naylor, the
other nailor Ramond Loreano, these guys to be able to
above a two twenty five as they are going up
against the dust star in the Atlanta Braves that they
just have oh so much poward. Marcel Zuna has been

(01:07:14):
one of the most impressive sluggers in the Big leagues
as far nine runs with the north of four armed
base Ronald the Coon you Junior, as it really went deep,
but he's still providing North with four Mason that's really
been the Atlanta Brads in general medals since just three
home runs as far this season, you gotta feel like
he's gonna get it going sooner rather than later. But
Jerrey Hellenick, Orlando arc Assielobi's along with Michael Airas, these
guys all entered into Saturday hitting well above a three.

(01:07:35):
But with the Cleveland Guardians, you've got that lockdown bullpen
that I absolutely love. Emmanue class A is one of
the best closers say you're gonna find in the big leagues.

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
But it's not just him.

Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
Hunter Gaddis, who is a failure starter, he has resurfaced
as a really good bullpen piece for the seam. You've
been able to have Tim Herron be able to play
a sub to era as well. Just take a look
up and down the boulevard. Other than Tyler Beatie, all
these guys are pretty trustworthy end for the Atlanta Brads.
They're about eleventh of league terms. Bullpenny Marry Tyler Mazick.
After being injured last season, he clearly has not been
himself but been able to get some good hands all

(01:08:05):
the likes of Joe A.

Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
Menez.

Speaker 3 (01:08:06):
Only both of these guys a sub one or an
entering into Saturday. HS Chavez has been a nice long
guy as well as aj Minter, so it's very interesting
spot here. I do think that Lively and the Guardians
at general being a little bit undervalued, so gonna be
one thing the money line of the Guardians at a
plus one sixty two or higher, and did sell my
till at nine point four. I do think that the
Alnam Breds are going to be able to get their runs,
and I think that regression starts to set in for elders.

(01:08:27):
So like the over end the money line of Cleveland
nine sixty nine, nine seventy on the banking board, the
Toronto Blue Jays playoffs to the LA Dodgers, says Michael
Grove goes for the Dodgers and Kevin Gosman is on
the bump for Toronto. This is a game that is
presently off the board as I record this. The Dodgers
said not announced their plans for Michael Grove until late
in the evening on Saturday. But that said, I've got
my indicap set the Blue Jays out of minus one
twenty three, and I set my toll out an eight

(01:08:49):
point nine, so eight and a half for let's looking
at the over nine or higher to the under one
leafet minus one twenty two with the Blue Jays plus
one twenty four higher going to be taking a look
at the LA Dodgers. When Michael Grove has been used
as a long guy this year, he honestly hasn't been
too bad. But I do think that the role of
these pictures is very big, and I could see this
almost being at piggyback effort as well. I don't think
that Michael Grove is going to be going out there

(01:09:10):
trying to shove like six scoreless innings or anything like that.
But with Grove, I think that he's probably gonna be
piggybacking off of Ryan Yarborough. Yarborough coming out of the
bullpen is actually really good him as a starter. He
actually posts up in the ra as about a full
point higher than when he's coming out of the bullpen.
But when you take a look at Michael Grove coming
out of the bullpen versus being a starter, it is
a little bit of a night and day difference for

(01:09:30):
him as well as a starter for Michael Grove about
a five seventy one era. He has given up seventeen
home runs in eighty and a third innings one home
run give it up in thirty three innings as a reliever,
and his strikeouts per nine rate it's about nine in
both capacities. As a reliever, he's honestly given up a
few more walks, probably because he's focusing a little bit
more on trying to be able to get the strikeouts.

(01:09:51):
But I don't know. Michael Grove is just not a
guy that really trusted in this her deal because I
think that he's probably gonna go like three four innings.
And for Kevin Gosman, he was doing some arm fatigue
when it came to spring training, did not look to
be in the world's greate as form. But he's looked
better recently. He's given up and combined one earn run
in his last two starts. Sound gave up three under
and against the Kansay Royals. I really don't pin those
on them. Sometimes he under and runs they are warranted,

(01:10:13):
sometimes they are not. And the shoub's out there in
the field just completely let him down in that game.
So I'm gonna be willing to give them a pass there,
strikecout numbers are down eight strike cuts in twenty one innings.
As far this season, command has still been relatively saw it.
And for the Blue Jays, even though you look at
them right now they're in the bottom half of the
Big leagues terms of the bullpenny ra it is very
much improving. You get Eric Swatson, Georg Romano, two of
your best relievers from last season back in the fold.

(01:10:34):
I think that that is going to be massive for them.
And then you take a look a little bit further
down the line, you're going to need to get more
out of Tim Maza, who was supposedly got a sub
to fifty era season ago. This far this season on
the north of a sixty r A and a Pierson
though Launche Green, these guys been relatively sawid in the
Dodgers pretty bit estrian in the bullpen this season as well.
They let go of Victor Gonzalez, they let go of
Caleb Ferguson, and now they're dealing with the Bell Chrismat

(01:10:56):
trying to give them some innings. Joe Kelly has been
absolutely awful. I like Danny, I like Evan Phillips, but
those are really the long two reliable guys that you have.
Now what is reliable for the LA Dodgers. The top
of the fold for the team, as you've got Mookie
best Showo Tani six plus home runs apiece, both give
you north of before arm base. As a matter of fact,
each of your top four hitters from yesterday throwing their
Freddie Freeman Wilf Smith guys in our net. So he's

(01:11:17):
genering as much.

Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
Power this season.

Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
But all four of those guys north of a four
hundred on base. You do have a little bit of
an issue with the bottom of the fold though, now
they are getting back in the fold. Me goat Ross,
who's been able to move the line. But I have
the likes of Chris Taylor, Kevin Lox, James Outman hang
below the middle of side two hundred geeky aarnand is
sitting about a two twenty five, but also two forty
six on base without a lot of pop. Meanwhile, for
the Blue Jays, just an uncharacteristically bad season for them

(01:11:39):
at the plate end. I do think that we overrated
these guys for a very long time and said I
don't think that they're quite this man either. You've got
George Springer a lot with bobas Shed, Vladger or Junior,
Aleander Kirk, Kevin Kiermeier, all inning a two twenty eight
or lower with not necessarly a lot of pop from
any of these guys George Bringer, Viger or Junior three
home runs apiece. You haven't been able to get any
sort of power however out of Oleander Kirk, so that's

(01:12:01):
been an issue. As Tom varshow has probably been your
best batch, give you about a three thirty on base
six on runs. Justin Turner has been the main man
to be able to reach base in nearly four on base,
so that's been relatively rock said. But I do think
the against Grove and a bullpen game of the LI Dodgers,
this Blue Jay team should be able to get online,
and I think that the Dodgers get there. So in
after let's looking at the over nine are higher the under.
I'm going to lay up to minus one twenty two

(01:12:21):
with the Blue Jays and plus one twenty four higher.
I do like the Dodgers nine seventy one nights seventy
two on the banking board. The New York Yankees a
throwd face off against the Milwaukee Brewers. As Marcus Showman
is on the bump for the Yankees and Tobias Myers
is on the bump for the Brewers, the Burrs are
an underdog between plus one ten two al plus one
fifteen any moretween minus one twenty four two minus one
thirty is a number on the Yankees. A and a
half is the total over his minus one twenty and

(01:12:43):
the under is even. I it's at the Yankees out
of minus one thirteen. So now that we're getting a
plus one fourteen or higher, I'm going to be one
to ride with the Milwaukee Bers on the money line.
For Tobias Myers, I know that it was against the
Pittsburgh Pirates, but first start did not look bad. Five innings,
he gives up one run. And this Milwaukey Burwers team
has really done a nice job with her farm system

(01:13:03):
of being able to provide some good top flight talent.
We've seen Colin Ray be able to come into his
own this season as well, and I do think that
the pipeline is just going to continue to turn out
good talent for the crew. If you look at what
Tobias Meyers sit at the minor league level in twenty
twenty three, he had a relatively high ra but he
was given up only about two point nine walks for
Nina ninetyes. He was getting the north of eleven punch
outs ber nine and niney is a big key for him.

(01:13:25):
Is going to be reducing on the depot. When he
was at the minor league level last season, he was
giving up more than a home run and a half
per nin and innings. But who is up down all rowdy.
I know it was pitching for the beginning part of
his career in the minor leagues in the PCLS. He
was part of the Giant system. It's part of the
Tampa Bay Rays system, so he was pitching with the
old Durham Bulls. So this guy has been pitching a

(01:13:46):
journ near every single minor league league that you can
think of. So now he finally has a little bit
of consistency. And for Marcus Rowman two ninety three era,
but I've got my trepidations with him. The swing of
miss stuff has been relatively solid. He's getting about ninety
gusts and n but he's still giving up a little
bit north of three walks Bernie and Ennis. As far
as He's not a relatively okay job of keeping them
all in the art forum runs given up in twenty

(01:14:07):
seven and two thirds innings, but fielding independent more around
four to seventeen compared to a two ninety three. The
area backed up by a bullpen Night's relative. We saw
it and these are two of the veteran bullpens. Hey,
you're gonna find in the big leagues. For the Yankees,
you've got Ron Mana, not Gio back after he was
dealed with a little bit of an injury. He Ian
Hamilton were very reliable for the team last season. In
Victor Gonsalez is a guy that I'd like. He's been
able to give you a sub three ERA and now

(01:14:28):
pick up Michael Tonkin, He and Luke Weaver as long guys.
I don't necessarily have a lot of faith there. Meanwhile,
for the Milwaukee Bers, it's hard not to have faith
in Darniere everyone on this roster in the bullpen, Joe Pias,
Elvis Piguero, Hoby Milner all out a sub three ERA
on the season. Brian Hudson has been absolutely tremendous for
the team. M Near your uba a little bit of
higher ERA, but he's got really good stuff. And then
for the Milwaukee Bers, still the old tight injury to

(01:14:48):
Christian Yelich, but William Cantris is on a terror north
of a four thirty on base five home runs entering
into yesterday, Jackson Tarrio, Reees Hoskins, they've both been able
to give you four plus home runs a piece. Treo
not really doing a great job the line, but you've
been able to have Bryce Terrang along with Lake Perkins
as young guys being able to sply North with three
hundred average, Freedlick Send a nice Jeff being able to
get on as well. And it's been a team in

(01:15:09):
the Milwaukee Brewers that they have really struggled with lefties
going up against righties. They're one of the best lineups
in the league. Against lefties, they just can't do anything whatsoever.
And Mark Stromany is already so that helps him out.
And for the Yankees, he struggles of Aaron Judges continued
to be very real going into yesterday. Four home runs
with a buck seventy eight average. You just expect more there.
I think Vope has been able to pick it up though,
three fifty on Basy Annoux Verdugo have done a solid

(01:15:31):
job being able to get on base as well to
carbertra after a night start to the season has slowed
down a little bit, but gott moon Soto providing well
known over four to twenty five on base. He has
been living up to his billion and then some with
seven home runs. But in this spot, I do favor
Mayers just a little bit at a plus one fourteen
or iron I'm gonna be willing to ride with that
money line in in terms of total, it is one
where I did set it out an eight point eight,
so being able to get an eight and a half,

(01:15:51):
I'm gonna be taking a look at the over and
I'm gonna be willing to ride with the money line
of the Milwaukee Brewers nine seventy three, nine seventy four.
On the betting board, it is the Cincinnati writs, Yes,
we are to Cincinnati and they are under the road
face off against the Texas Rangers, and Rabbit goes for
the Reds and Dane Dunning looks to get her donning
for Texas. Texas is back to being a favorite any
between minus one twenty three to minus one thirty between

(01:16:12):
plus one ten to plus one seventeen it's at number
on Cincinnati. Eight and a half is a totally over
is minus one twenty the unders even I did set
the Rangers out of minus one twenty two. So if
we could get this a tick down by one or
two pennies, so I'm gonna be willing to back the
Rangers on the money line. So we're gonna be waiting
on a little bit of line movement here right now.
With that Rangers run line, you're able to get about
a plus one sixty five, and if Wars comes the worse,

(01:16:35):
I'd be willing to take a plus one sixty two
or higher laying a run a half. But I do
think I should be able to get a minus one
twenty two day show up when it's all said and
done with the Texas Rangers. This squad hopefully got going
in the ninth inning when they erupted for four runs
to cash our DK now work rite a pick from Saturday.
So I made hopefully a lot of people listening to
this podcast very happy. But that's that for the Rangers.
You have to figure that Corey Seeger is going to

(01:16:57):
be able to bust out of that funk. Perhaps that
homer in the ninth ending got him going because that
was just his second home run season. Just giving you
a three thirty six on base, you know that he's
capable of giving you a little bit more. You've had
Josh Smith be able to move line hitting above a threre.
Marcus Simeon has already got a home run in the
series as well. It's a Rangers team has been relatively
league average in terms of their home runs. In terms
of their overall runs per game, you know that that's

(01:17:17):
going to be going northward. And for the Cincinnty Reds.
His team is in the top six in the Big
leagues in terms of runs per game away from home,
with darn near five per contest. It's a little bit
of a top heavy team as you need some of
these guys like Christian and Karnassio and Strand Will Benson Santiago.
It's been Luke Melee to be able tot above the
middo's line two hundred and maybe though Elie Da La
Cruz Spencer's here went oh for nine yesterday, they still

(01:17:38):
generate those eight runs of both of these guys give
me north of a three seventy five on base day.
La Cruz has been able to give you six plus
home runs as far as the season, cheek Freeley has
found a way on base and for the Reds, this
bullpen entered in US eleventh in the big leagues in
terms of VRA. Brent Souter probably sent that northward a
little bit, but oh no, it's been a solid bullpen,
not an amazing one, but like the CS, in my opinions,
one of the better closers out there in the big leagues.

(01:17:59):
Fernander krue is looking for the second time in the
last three years to post up a sub to era.
Sam Mole coming back is able to give this seam
a little bit about then for the Texas Rangers, this
has been a bottom half of the big league's team
in terms of their ERA in the bullpen. But you're
bringing David Robertson Kirby eight's at four to five things
a little bit. Mosey lak Clerk has been a little
bit off kilter this season. I think that he's going
to be able to pick it up in rand Rabbit.

(01:18:20):
He does have some very real home and road splits
throughout his career. He's posted up in the ERA about
some points some five points higher when he's away from
up rather than when he is at home. He's been
able to do a nice job of reducing on the
deep ball this year, giving up just one home run
for nine ennings. But there's also a lot of love
of walks. The swinging mistuff is down to about seven
a half strikeouts for nine Ennis two sixty ERA, but
a fielding and pen that is.

Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
Quite a bit higher than that.

Speaker 3 (01:18:40):
Meanwhile, for Dan Dunning, he just needs a fine way
to not get her Dunning in terms of well get
Dunning in terms of giving up the deep at seven
home runs at twenty seven and a third innings as
far this season, he has given up north of five
walks per nine and ennings. But if you take a
look at Dan Dunning ever since he came to Texas,
he's got an the ra about a point a half
lower when he is in Texas rather than away from
I don't know what it is about his home and

(01:19:01):
roads plus and he was a little bit better about
them last season, but he's always done his best work
in Texas rather than away from home. Though, and we'll
say he is giving up a home run in each
of his last five serrets. Ha'spent a little bit less
than tremendous. But I do think that he's gonna be
all picking up a little bit here. I do think
that both of these offenses do get ignited. I said
my total of nine point three, So even if this
goes up to a nine, I'm gonna be willing to
back the over. I went to Texas Rangers at a

(01:19:23):
minus one twenty two or less. Gonna be willing to
back them on.

Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
The money line.

Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
Now it's in New Mexico City, nine seventy five, nine
seventy six on the backing board, it's the col Rider
Rockies and they're gonna be playing against the Euston Asters.
Brombervaldez goes for the Astros and Elson Gomber looks and
not get gambered up for Colorado. Colado is technically the
home team out there at Alfredo Harpeloo Stadium, and they're
an underdog of between plus one seventy to plus one
seventy eight. Between minus one ninety to minus two five

(01:19:47):
is the money lion of the Asters, and the run
line is a hilarious minus one forty five to minus
one forty eight. Sixteen and a half is a total
with the under between minus one fifteen, minus one ten,
the overs between minus one ten to a minus one
of five. I've set my total at a fifteen point two.
I'm gonna be taking a look at this total hundred
Like the Colrader Rockies can't even hit at Mexico City

(01:20:08):
right now. It's just absolutely ridiculous. The Cowradder Rockies yesterday,
they get completely held down. And I just have no
idea what to say about this because the Houston Asters
in their part in terms of trying to get that
total over yesterday, and for the Houston Astros, top of
the fold has actually been quite good for the seat.
Kyle Tucker, you're not Alvarez, osel Twove. I'll give you
Lisa three fifty five Emmies. All these guys have been
able to supply six plus home runs as far the season.

(01:20:30):
Alvarez and Tucker by themselves at three home runs yesterday.
Jeremy Paine is hitting above a three any your Diaz
has been able to provide nearly a three hundred average
as well. Really, everyone other than Ose Abray, who has
been pretty solid in terms of Houston Astros lineup. For
the Colrad Rockies, you got guys that are actually able
to move the line in elivedas Brenton Doyle, Ryan McMahon.
These guys are heading north of the two ninety five

(01:20:51):
Ezekiel Tovars in that fold as well. But I Michael
to'glio right now leads the team in home runs with four,
and Michael Toglio I don't think has seen it at
bat for this team since Sunday the twenty first, Like,
I have no idea what's going on here with the
Colrad Rockies. Power but they're powerless. I mean it's a
team that they just have no idea what they're doing
at the plate right now. You've got so many guys

(01:21:12):
like Brendan Rodgers, Charlie Blackman, Alidius Bonteto and in between
about a two twenty five to two thirty five. And
when you're playing out there at Coors Field, that's a
big giant issue. I will go into the home and
roadsports of the col Rade Rockies, but I mean, right now,
you're playing in Mexico City, so you better be able
to hit in Mexico City.

Speaker 2 (01:21:27):
But they're not right now.

Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
So that's a big giant issue. And for the Coyrad Rockies,
they're currently a bottom five team in the big leagues
with the Guards, they're bullpenning area with the likes of
Anthony Molina, Justin Lawrence Tyler Kinley also playing north of
a five y are Victor Vondnik has been relatively solid
for this bunch, but that's that you don't have a
lot of bright spots there, and for the Astros, it's
been a very miserable bullpen for them as well. You're
expecting to have a nice Antheon night thing you do

(01:21:49):
with Ryan Presley along with Josh Hater, and both of
these guys have come out and just completely sunk this
far this season. And because they no longer have the
likes of Ryan Stanac Ecornairs, you don't have as many
reliable guys. Scott along Seth Martinez will been able to
give you some up to fifty era. Brian Brady I
think is gonna be able to pick it up a
little bit and perhaps the series he's gonna be able
to get them going because the Rockies are just sad
and miserable. But the question is what are you gonna

(01:22:10):
be able to get out from. Bravaldez landed on the
injured listen really since the Ultar break of twenty and
twenty three has posted up an era that's starned near five,
like he just has not been himself. He's making his
first start since the second of April, and from all
accounts his rehab appearances, we're looking relatively solid. So that's
something that you do like to see after he had
six walks in twelve and a third innings to begin

(01:22:32):
the season. But Rolston Gomber he's actually got a halfway
decent ERA right now out of four thirty two. He
just doesn't give you a lot of strikecuts. He gives
you about seven a half punch outs, berni and innings,
and that's an issue when you give out durn near
four walks, berni and innings. He has given out three
earned runs for fear in each of his last four starts,
but has been very fortunate on the balls and play
on here in Mexico City. I don't think he's going
to be so fortunate. It's on my toe of fifteen

(01:22:54):
point two, just because flat out, I don't think the
colrad Rockies do their part with his total.

Speaker 4 (01:22:58):
So I do like the under end.

Speaker 3 (01:23:00):
I like the asros on The run line was one
lay up to minus one sixty five there nine seventy seven,
nine to seventy eight on the big board. The Ears
and the Diamondbacks at the red face off against the
Seattle Mariners, so Logan Gilbert goes for Seattle. Brandon Fott
is on the bump for Arizona and Arizona to find
themselves as an underdog between plus one twenty plus one
twenty five. Meanwhile between mins one thirty five to mince
one forty two set number on Seattle seven to seven
A half is a total on the seven overs minus

(01:23:20):
twenty the unders even on the seven half under spines
one fifteen. The over is minus one of five. And
with the Mariners, I'm one a lay up to a
minus one thirty eight with them, so could be willing
to back the minus one thirty five I'm seeing out there.
Logan Gilbert has been absolutely sensational for the Seattle Mayors.
Buck eighty seven ERA fielding dependant is a little bit higher,
but it's not too far off kilter. He's only given

(01:23:41):
up about four home runs at thirty three and two
thirds innings. His walks per nine right is right around
about two. He's been able to get north of nine
strikeouts per nine and ennings in for Brandon fought. He
had a little bit of a off COVID and those
two starts against the Braves and the Saint Louis Cardinals,
but he's been able to pick himself up very nicely
twelve and a third innings in his last two starts,
giving up a combined four. Has been able to do
a really good job with his command as well. He

(01:24:02):
is giving up about two wats for nine ennings as
far the season, give about eight and a half punch
outs for nine and nings. Where things fall apart though,
is the bullpen for the Arizona Diamondbacks. This punch is
a little bit below the league average in terms of
their bullpenny array. Scott McGough gave up a Grand Slam
a couple of days ago. He just has not been
good in general for the Aarzenda Diamondbacks. You've got Luis
Forres who's currently on the full for the team. I
actually like the upside of Justin Martinez. He and yourself,

(01:24:25):
Frank Ryan Thompson. These are your three trustworthy guys for
the airsend of Diamondbacks. Everyone else's a little bit of
roll the dice with Bryce Jarvis also being halfway okay.
But for the Seattle managers, they entered in his Saturday
number one in the big leagues in terms of bullpenny array.
They're just the West Coast version of what the Tampa
Bay Rays used to be prior to this year. They
pick up these guys from out of nowhere like Tyson Miller,
Gabe Spier, Trent Thornton, and they just turned them into

(01:24:47):
a really good bullpen pieces. These three guys, along with
Ryan Stanek Cody Bolton, they've all got a two ERA
or lower entering into Saturday and Night. Tayler Soacato his
three RA makes him like one of the worst relievers
on the team as of right now. That's how incredible
it's been in for the Mariners. If they could just
find a little bit more consistency had the plate, they're
going to be just fine. You've got big dumper cal
Rawlus been able to give you six home runs as

(01:25:08):
far this season, being able to fly about a three
thirty on Bason Ulio Rodriguez hitting for average, but need
a little bit more than one home run. Mitch Niger
has come back to the Seattle Mariners for about the
fifty seventh time, had that nice Grand Slam on Friday
to help out that Deacon or rite a pick which
we like, but you do need Mitch Garver or a
Polanco JP Crawford to pick it up. All entered into
yesterday hitting below the midole sign two uner though Garver,

(01:25:29):
he's starting to give you a little bit more head
of home run a little bit earlier in the series
and for the years in the Diamondbacks, they did enter
in the series number two in the big leagues with
guards runs per game. Was sensing a little bit of
aggression with this team. They played a lot of games
against the colrad Rockies. They give those numbers and they've
got Canel Marte at Londlorido. Is Garriel entering into yesterday
bout ennying north of two eighty five with five home
runs piece. Christian Walker is flying with you with a

(01:25:50):
three eighty five on bas en. They've done this with
Cormyn Carroll really being silent. I don't know if he's
the only with like a shoulder injury because I know
that he's had a history of that or what, but
he's hitting right around two uner with just one home
run far the season, but likes of Jake McCarthy blaze,
Alexander jack Peterson hitting above a threer that has been
very big for the sim of the vaccine. But I
think that Logan over gonna be able to go out
there and tame them. This is one of the most
pitcher friendly ballparks in the big leagues out I feel

(01:26:12):
like we've won a little bit too far with the total,
even though I think that fought gives you a relatively
solid surf for the Diamondbacks, I've got trepidations with that bullpen,
and does feel like the Mariners are starting to come
out of their hibernation with their bets. I did something
toil at some point six here to seven two and
seven a half. I liked the over end one to
lay uptow minus one thirty eight on the Seattle Manners
money line and wrappings up with nine seventy nine nine
eighty on the bank board. The Boston Red Sox playoffs
the Chicago Cubs, as Jordan Wicks goes for the Cubs

(01:26:34):
and Tanner Rouck is on the bump for Boston. Boston
between minus one eighteen and minus one twenty five favorites
any between plus one and five to plus one ten
is that number on the Cubs end. Your total is
eight and a half. The unders between minus one oh
five to a minus one fifteen. Scene goes for the
over end with Boston set them at a minus one
thirty one. I'm gonna be one to back them on
the money line. Tender Rouck has really had a nice
coming out party thus farthest season. He had that complete

(01:26:55):
game with lots one hundred pitchers against the Cleveland Guardians
that really put them on the map, but.

Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Take them like ten help.

Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
Last season he was incredibly unlucky. He had a five
to one year a without fielding independent about point six
points lower. He was given up about one point two
home runs, eight and a half strikeouts for nine and nnings.
He did a fine job and didn't really get the
desired results. This year, he's done a tremendous job of
being economical with his pitches, only one point four walks
for nine ennings getting about nine strikeouts for nine nings.

Speaker 2 (01:27:20):
Souf.

Speaker 3 (01:27:20):
It's not like he's completely allergic to strikeouts or anything
like that. He has just been very rock solid and
has taken some nice strides forward. In for mister Wicks,
you've got Rick the wild thing Vawn out there for
the Cubs, as he has been tremendous in the way
that he has been able to get strikeouts, but he
wears suspects just like our good friend mister Vaughn, and
he gives out a lot of walks. This season, has

(01:27:40):
been able to give you eleven strikeouts for nine nings,
but three and a half walks for nine ns. So
if you look at the fielding independent, he also has
been very unlucky for seventy era compared to a fielding
independent of about three twenty five year. Has actually done
a nice job. I'll be able to reduce the contact
in general. He does a good job of just being
able to keep the ball in the yard. And it
does look like you might be getting Hayden was Nesky
out there well, And if you do get Hayden wasn't Esky,

(01:28:02):
I'd probably be willing to push itself to about a
minus one forty on the red Sox, but wouldn't really
change my total if it is Wicks versus help a nine,
unless I'd be looking at the over nine and a
half rire to the under the same movie going for
Hayden Wasn't Esky and if you do get Wizsky, he's
probably gonna be piggybacking with Jordan Wicks as well. We've
actually seen that a few times. We saw that in
their game against the Ears and a diamondback. So I

(01:28:22):
do think that if you do get Wiznesky as a starter,
you could still see Wicks coming out of the bullpen.
I'm not sure if they put him on the injury
list or anything like that, but that said, I think
that that's something that's very, very viable. We've already seen
that from Craig Council thus far the season. But for
the Cubs this has been one of the better offenses
out there in the big leagues. Michael Bush has been
a big reason why. Six home runs, including five and
five games about two weeks ago. But now you've got

(01:28:43):
Chridie Belger on the injured list. That does hurt the
same quite a bit. Nico Horner has been able to
do a nice job to be able to move the line.
He and Bush are both thinking above a two eighty,
along with Mike Talkman sie is Azuki. Oh, I see
you hitting about a three hundred. But now he's on
the injury list as well. So the Cubs have really
fallen off a little bit there, and you just need
a bit more out of Christopher or Morell entered into
Saturday with about a three hundred nine base And for
the Cups, it's not a great bullpen, it's not a

(01:29:04):
terrible bullpen. They've been right around about lay average. Ben
Brown has been able to come in and has been
able to give you some nice starts up to tell
you yesterday and well, yesterday everything just went wrong for
the Cubs. But the good news is because they got
destroyed by so much, they didn't have to throw out
there but a lot. They're trustworthy guy, he says, lose
Class is not on the injury list, so you don't
have to worry about him anymore. Ed Beart als lay
has been and we'll do a halfway decent job of

(01:29:26):
being able to hold down the Ford in the ninth Inny.
They did have to use up Luke Little a little
bit yesterday, but pass that. Some of these guys like
Keeth Thompson and company, if you need a phill Innings,
they're gonna be out there and they're gonna be ready
to go. Meanwhile, for the Boston Red Sox, just absolutely
massive that they now have Rafael Devers back at full
Ever since coming off the injured list, he's been able
to get hot. He's backdating above a two sixty with
some power. You've been able to get a little bit

(01:29:46):
more recently out of the young guys. You still need
a little bit more out of the legs of Emmanuel Baldez,
Sadine Rafaela, Bobby Dollback, Pablo Reyes. These guys on even
below the Bedell's sign of two hundred. But you tell
that things were really clicking for them. Yesterday's Rafaela had
seven RBI yesterday like absolutely insane. And Tyler O'Neal he
has been one of the best hitters in all baseball
this far this season, hitting above three innerd he's been

(01:30:06):
able to fly nine home runs four fifty on base
So if you do get Wis versus how, I'd be
willing to lay it with the Red Sox here. And
if you do get was Nesky, I'd be willing to
go probably closer to go about a minus one forty years.
And whether it's Wicks or was Nesky, I'm setting my
toe to wear a nine or less. I'm on the
over nine and a half ri or to the under
sell as of right now looking at that money buying
of the Red Sox and the over and right things
