contact guys as well. And then we're gonna be diving

(00:51):
in on the games for Thursday and the final seg

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Games for yesterday is Greg buzzing about. Here is the
rowdy recap.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
The San Francisco Giants continue to win and Logan Webb's
home starts four to one. The Giants are able to
get it done. For the Elliot Dodgers. They gave Eliezer
or Nandez a start, gives up three runs over the
course of six innings.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Going home run to.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Mister Strumsky Mike you Sremsky with his fourth home run
season from their two innings out of the bullpen from
Eduardo Selzar, that's a blast from the past. He gives
up one under and run over the course of his
two innings, and Logan Web just continues being masterable. They
give up three walks early on, but settle down for
six scorrel of settings from there. Sean Hegeley along there,

(02:07):
Miller combined first squirrel of sentning. Tyler Rogers does give
up a run and any thing, but Camellia Deval he's
able to give you a squirrel of setting as well.
So the San Francisco Giants, well, when they trot out
there Logan Web on the road, it's been a little
bit rough for them, but whenever he makes that start
at home, he's been able to be very rock solid.
The top over team in all baseball is the Milwaukee
Burs and they played yet another over on Wednesday, and

(02:30):
we'll talk a little bit more about them on the
podcast tomorrow. We'll get Ben Wilson, a border who does
great work here at v SIN and for the Birds,
they get this one done by kind of ten to
too as Martin Peez Boy did he get shelled.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
He gives up.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Five home runs in his five innings, nine runs a
total is going deep for the brew crew. Gary Sanchez's
sixth home run season, William Contrez, who's been one of
the best hitters in all baseball, sixth home run season.
Sul free Look his second home run in two days,
Jackson chario Is fifth home run season, Joey Ortez's fourth
home run season. Robert Gasser, he brought the gas, giving
up one run over the course of five innings, did

(03:03):
a law of six to sixth, but did wiggle his
way out of it. Jered Coning he gives up a
home run and his enning and work going deep for
the Pittsburgh Tires. Sander mccutche in his fifth home run season.
Then you have Joe Piyamps along with Mitchell White, both
being able to come in there. They blind to combine
three Squirrel signings between the two of them, and for Pittsburgh,
Louse Hartiz gives up a run in two innings, and
Rider Ryan a Squirrel is signing.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
So Brewers at.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Twenty six and seventeen, they are leading the NL Central,
but they did not gain any ground on the Chicago
Cubs because they take down the Atlanta Braves by kind
of seven to one, and the Braves by the way
top under team in all baseball. Thirteen overs, twenty five
hundreds and two pushes, so total eight and a half
goes under. As Ave had a sod buck forty ninety
are thus far the season six corel of settings. He

(03:46):
has been really good since being brought up as a
starter last season. Ben Brown gives up a run in
two innings. Luke Little comes up big with a squirrel
of setting and pair of home runs for Chicago as
ci A Suzuki and Mike Taalkman both get home runs
number four of the season, where Suzuki goes z pop
and Jesse Chavez whollows two runs of two innings. Alo
on run comes out of Charlie Board who allows four

(04:06):
runs three which we're earned an instant innings raker and
long relief gives up one on and three innings, and
Jackson stevens he's able to sply a squirrel is setting,
but Braves to leave nine men on base. You have
to wonder when that offense is gonna be able to
pick it up and where the Oakland A's the offense
probably is.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Not going to pick it up.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
All season long, pitching has been fine, and they pitched
well enough to win this game. But the Answers get
it done. By account of three to zero, they are
able to get another win in the series. I believe
that is a sweet for them. As Aaron Brooks no
not the quarterback actually wasn't horrible. Gives up three runs
over the course of seven innings. Not quite as dominant
as he was with the key At Tigers way back

(04:42):
in the day, but that said, you'll take that, you know.
From there, Tyler Ferguson, t. J. McFarlan combined for a
squirrel is setting but absolutely nothing doing. As for Houston
from Bervaldez was on points seven squirrels setting seth Martinez
two scrolls from there. So Easton answers are able to
find a way to get it down. And Alex Bragman
another RBI in this one, so he's starting to heat
up quite a bit and the Yankees are quite hot.

(05:03):
Four to zero they take down the Minnesota Twins. Says
Marcus Trowman. Six squirrel of signings, did walk three, but
holds down the ford as Luke Weaver from there gives
you two squirrel of settings, Caleb Ferguson a squirrel of setting,
and Aaron Judge. He has been able to really find
it here in recent days home run number eleven of
the season and for Aaron Judge as now home run
number three in its last six games as he's able

(05:24):
to crank that home run off of one Bablo Lopez
who gives up tenants three runs over the course of
six and the third dings including that bomb from their
Josh Shaemount a squirrel setting Includy Funberg five outside the
bullpen does allow a run along the way, but nothing
doing for the Minnesota Twins in terms of their offense.
Not a lot doing for the Boss of Red Sox
either will been your's second best hunder team in all

(05:44):
baseball twenty six hundreds, fourteen overs and three pushes. They
do fall to the Tampa Bay Rays by account of
four to three, and for the Rays they say hippop
paray to their bullpen up blowing this game. Philmmyton does
allow some home run and is signing work as rafi
el Everts did take him for riders fifth home run
season Wiler, Abrady gozipof futage. Don't call Milton Bradley for
his fourth home run season for Bradley gives up two

(06:05):
runs over the course of five innings. But Pete Fairbanks,
Kevin Kelly, Sean Armstrong, I'll lend a squirrel is Senning
and from Boston. Ten Errouck not necessarily what he had
in mind. He gives up three runs over the course
of five and two third sennings. So there are a
pair of players out there in the field, including a
Raphael Devers miscatch that needed to be made, so only
one of them was earned. Craig Wiser, he gives up
an under and run and is a third of an

(06:26):
ending as well, before cam Boozer gives you two scrolls
settings and Chase Anderson he's able to lend eight squirrels
setting as well. The marinrds have any good under team.
They have played north of sixty four percent of their
games to the under and they play another under on
a Wednesday, being able to get it done by account
of four to two as Alk Marsh gives up two runs,
one of which was earned, over the course of five
innings going deep for Seattle, Ty France. No ties here

(06:47):
but a win. He's able to get home run number
four of the season. And for Brian Wu he says
woo who to giving up one run over the course
of five and a third innings from there, gave Spire
Austin both naked mind for an ending, with both giving
up a run along the way. But Ryan Santa gives
a Squirrels setting and Andres Munios five outs out of
the bullpen to be able to get the save scoreless,
and I can't see Whels bullpen wasn't too bad here
to have Ty Duffy give up a run in two

(07:08):
thirds of night, Nick Anderson a run in any but
Annaldserpa he gets it out of the bullpen scoreless. In
Will Smith he gets jiggy with it for a Squirrels
sending of his own. San Diego Patres gets swept by
the Colrade Rockies.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
That's not good to.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Say the least eight to zero the final. And if
you took the Colorado Rockies on the money line in
this series, you made out like a bandit. As for
the Colorado Rockies, they will find themselves north of plus
one eighty underdogs in all three of these games and
for Colorado, they just had a really good pitching performance
from Mileson Goalbery gambled up the Potteries with six squirrel
sendings justin Lawrence Pete, Lambert Nick Mears. From there, they're

(07:44):
all able to give you a squirrel of senning. And
for the Potteries, Michael King was in the out house.
He was not the King. He gives up six runs
over the course of five and a third endings, including
a home run to Brenton Doyle's fifth home run season.
Then you get home run number one of the season
from young Jordan Beck. Beck is able to get at
home run off of Jeremiah Strata, kicks up ace home
run and one in two thirds and Johnny Brito he

(08:04):
comes in for two innings, he allows a run along
the way as well. You did see the walker. Texas
Rangers have a little bit of a triumph on Wednesday,
four to zero the final after and is not so
great for them on Tuesday. For the Guardians, Carlos Cookie.
Carosco honestly didn't pitch the world's worse. He gives up
two runs over the course of five innings, does give
up home run to Marcus Simeon, a thom run season

(08:25):
and then Sandlin does give up a home run to
a Dolas Garcia for a centh home run. Season four,
Sandlin gives up two runs in a third ending Pedrovolado,
a squirrel sending Peter Starzluki. He was able to come
in for one and two thirds and squirrels, but Guardians
leave eight men on base. They get absolutely nothing off
of Sean Gray, and he was able to give fifty
five shades of John Gray and fifty five shades of

(08:46):
a scroll of outing in six and a third innings
as they able to clerk from there a pair of
bouts out of the bullpen before David Robertson and Kirby
Say closed the door, both being able to lend a
squirrel assenting Your second best over team in all baseball
is actually the Miami Marlands. But they shut out the
Detroit Tigers by a count of two to zero. And
with the Tigers back to back shutouts and the game
on Tuesday went ten innings, that's not great to say.

(09:07):
The lisa Is Casey miss give up a home run
to Brian day La Cruz ninth home run of the season,
but for my his relatively get out a year. He
gives up two runs over the course of six innings,
including that homer Wolves Bowbrisky Tyler Holton. From there all
endo squirrels setting, but the Tigers leave ten men on base.
They only went oh three with men in scory position,
will stranding ten men on base by the way, as

(09:28):
Trevor Rodgers gives up three, it's no runs in its
five nings. Work from there to Klon Crona and lont
Andrew Nardi combined for two squirrel settings before Calvin Fasche
Tanner Scott are both able to lend a squirrel setting
of their onw for the Baltimoreals. They take down the
Toronto Blue jaysis by a count of three to two.
As again the Blue Jays pitching not too bad here,
you would have liked a little bit more length out
of y Sakkucci gives up a solom run in four

(09:51):
plus sentnings of work. As he does give that one
up to mister Jordan Westbrook seventh film run season, then
for Adley Rushman walk off homer off of Jordan Romano
ninth Holme run Sea and that has been an issue
for the Blue Jays, Ara up two to one, going
into ninth inning, Romano does not get it out. He
gives up both of those runs. Ye had Zech Pop
be able to give you one and the third ending
scrolls Gens Scaberra to Mesa both give you and out

(10:13):
of the bullpen, and Yimi Garcia one and two thirds
sending scrolls but not enough year And for Baltimore, Kyle
Bradish only lens four hunnings himselfie gives up two runs.
There was a little bit of inklement whether that is
going to be lingering in Baltimore all week long. But
from there you have Mike Baumancin ol Perez combined for
two squirrel settings. Day Kloom Jacob Webb are both able
lent a squirrels setting as well. And you saw the

(10:34):
Washington Nationals get shut out as well, two to zero
the final. And by the way, in terms of the
games that we did see on Wednesday, in all but
two of these games the losing team scored three runs
or fewer. So it was very much an under day
out there in baseball. That's then for the Chicago White Sox,
and they were able to take to the Nationals. So
Patrick carbon Da, who didn't pitch horrible, he gave up

(10:56):
two runs at five and two thirds innings. And again,
if you bet on Patrick Corby and every one of
his starts since the beginning of the twenty twenty three season,
team is twenty and twenty three when he's on the bump.
If you've gotten plus one sixty on the money line
and every one of those starts, if you're one hundred
dollars better, you're up nine hundred dollars from there. Derek
Vaudeal floral combined for two squirrel settings of Robert Garcia
gets it out of the bullpen. But for the Nationals

(11:18):
they go oh of nine with men and scoring position.
Garret Garchet was tremendous, goes five squirrel of settings from there.
Jared Hochuster two squirrel settings, Jordan Leisure, Michael Kopek. They're
both able to supply a squirrel setting as well. Cincinnati
Reds are really stumbling in the NL Central. They are
out last in that division and not gonna keep going
on offense. Two to one, they fall to the Ears
under Diamondbacks Andrew Rabbitt tough loock no decision gives up

(11:40):
a solo run over the course of seven innings as
Christian Walker takes a d for his eighth home run season.
Brandon Fought similar stadline gives up a Solom run to
Santiago Spenal second home run season. That's all you give
up in seven innings before Ryan Thompson Paul Sewell both
end a squirrel setting and for Cincinnati, Fernando Cruz comes
in gives up a run in his setting of work,
and so the Diamondbacks are able to find a way

(12:02):
to be able to get the job done or he
can't know where. Grider Pick finds a way to be
able to get the job done as well. His operation
fade Lance Linn and the operation was successful seven to two.
The La Angels get it done. As for Lanceln gives
up four runs and five innings, and quite frankly, with
the amount of men that he allowed on base, it
could have been worse. He does give up home run
along the way before Nick Robertson gives up three runs

(12:23):
and one and two thirds endings, including a pair of
home runs going dy for La In this one, Taylor Ward,
with his first home run since Dinosaurs Roam the Earth
is eighth home run the season. Zach Netto Nolan Chanal
both get home run number four of the season as well.
For Griffin Canning, he was pretty rock solid. He gives
up a home run over the course of his six
innings to Paul Goldschmith, home run number four of the season.
By the way, you're able to have Chris Roycroft for

(12:45):
the st Loss Cardinals get four outside the bullpen squiraless
and for the La Angels he had Carlos the Sevenths
Matt Moore both five squirrels sending Luis Garcia. He gives
up a run and is ending work. But the Angels
they avoid the sweep and then get us our right
up winner. So we know hes do love to see that.
And something else that you absolutely love to see is
the way that the Philadelphia Phillies are playing. They are
able to take down the New York Mets by a

(13:08):
count of ten to five. As for the Old Metropolitans,
they've been able to do a nice job. We'll be
able to supply offense when they've been on the road,
but they didn't get a lot of pitching.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
In this one.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
As for one, mister Joey Lucasey gives up five runs
over the course of four and a third innings, including
home run going deep Price Harper home run number ten
of the campaign. From there, Grant Hardway gives up two
runs of one and two thirds sayings and Adrian Alser
pitch a little bit more like Doogie.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
He gives up three.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Runs to two innings, so only one of them was
earned hurt by a pair of bears out there in
the field, and J. D. Martinez was able to go
deep off of Spencer Turnbull second home run season as Rangers.
Swotez not as sharpened this one. He does a lot
of two runs in five innings, but those were both
underd runs and it wasn't due to his own air.
Stanthy to Megaz, a squirrel is setting it in Spencer
Turnbull three runs surroundered in three innings, including that home run.

(13:54):
But the Phillies they do find a way to get
it done, and right now they lead the Anlys. So
has been a very nice season for them, and it
has been a nice season in general in baseball. If
you've been taking a look at unders, I was alluding
to it a little bit earlier on. You've been seeing
a lot of teams just not putting up a lot
of runs that if you just take a look at
the last three days and the last three days only,
the Unders inning at fifty five point two percent two

(14:15):
hundred eleven unders to one hundred and seventy one overs
in the time span, Favorites being at fifty eight point
eight percent on the money line, two thirty four and
one sixty four. If you take a look at what
we just got on Wednesday, Favorites went just eight and
seven on the money line and unders eleven and four,
So very much a day for the Unders and overall
for the season, favorite sitting at right around about fifty
eight and a half percent three seventy seven and two

(14:36):
sixty eight. And if you're looking at the totals for
the season, undersitting at fifty two point nine percent three
hundred and thirty unders to two hundred and ninety four overs.
So that's what we're seeing a baseball right now, and
that's what we all got in baseball on Wednesday. Now,
let's turn the page forward to Thursday with our good
friend Rob Donaldson. He does great workover at YouTube dot
com slash Rob Donaldson. He joins me next on the

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yeah, I think you're having me on, Greg.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
It's certainly been an interesting baseball season where we're kind
of having to redirect our focus and relearn things about
certain guys and certain teams. And it's honestly that makes
it a little bit of a fun process but also
a bit of a challenging process.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
And so yeah, I always love hopping on to talk ball.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
With you, absolutely and it has been a first Now
seven weeks of the baseball season, we are getting very
close to a two month mark. And what about a
few of the things that I've been really standing out
to you thus far, because I do feel like in
terms of baseball season, it's been very topsy turvy and
fun to say the least.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
Absolutely, And I think one of the big things that
we're finally starting to see is the totality of you know,
pitchers going up through the system and really focusing on
their strikeout stuff and their movement pitches, and even if
they are getting hit hard and they might not be
the precise pitchers of the past, you know, they're finding
a lot of benefit and finding those two out strikeouts

(18:33):
with runners in scoring position or one out strikeouts with
runners and scoring position even And I think that's kind
of what we're seeing in terms of guys not really
barreling up the ball like we've used to see in
past years as well. So a little bit of a
mixture I think of, you know, high strikeout numbers, pitchers
that have really focused on their stuff and their movements
and RAPSODO and all these machines that we have nowadays

(18:55):
to kind of focus on that side, and then also
just a little bit of a hyper focus on launch
angle from the batter's perspective, I think it's finally coming
back to bite some of these hitters too. So it's
definitely been a really interesting season to watch play out.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
Yeah, it has been very interesting as home run numbers
across the board have been very much down this year.
That's something that I've certainly been taking a liking two
And have you been adjusting for this, because I do
think that that has put a little bit more emphasis
on these pitch of contact guys, because typically when you
take a look at pictures, you're starting like, oh, he's
getting eleven and twelve strikeouts per nine and nnings, and well, that's.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
All well and good.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
I would much rather have a guy that has a
fielding independent of like a three is just not giving
up a lot of runs in general, rather than that
guy that's getting like post strikeouts for nine and nnings,
but he's.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Giving up five runs.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Because if you give up one run and gets zero stricouts,
that's a lot of fut better than getting post straycotts
at giving up five.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Absolutely, yeah, And there's definitely a balance, And what a
lot of lineups are starting to kind of figure out is, hey,
let's just have a level swing path. If this guy
is going to challenge us with even the craziest of stuff,
let's try to put it in play or at least
get him rattled to a point where maybe he's just
missing the zone. I mean, we just watched I don't
know if you saw the Pirates Cubs game with Paul
Sken's debut the other night, but in the fifth inning

(20:12):
there for the Pirates, they walked seven consecutive batters and
gave up seven runs in the top of the fifth inning,
And that just kind of speaks to you know, sometimes
these guys are just up there chucking and they don't
really have any idea where the ball's going. And that's
why I think walks and hit by pitches and just
those little minor in between the line details have kind

(20:32):
of been costing some teams this season.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Yep. I have been very much shaking a look at that,
and it has been so intriguing. These teams with high
walk rates are ones that you want to be taking
with it as well. And certainly that's based on the pitcher,
because the guy like George Kirby, he's not gonna be
giving up the same amount of walks as so I'm like,
it don't seas for example.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
That's just the way that it is.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
But how much do you take a look at these
lineups that they have been very patient, because one thing
that I always known with the Dodgers is though they've
got that death star lineup with like cast you're a Andez,
Mookie Batscho Yotani busting out all those seatballs, they're also
very disciplined at the play, which is why they oftentimes
have so much success.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
Absolutely, i think that's kind of crucial because you're forcing
the pitcher to make pitches and you're also kind of
working counts and when you are patient and picking your
spots as opposed to some of these hyper aggressive teams
that are just out there hacking. I mean, when you're
looking at batting average on balls in play, I think
that's a very telling stat because there's a lot of
underlying things that feed into those numbers. And when you're

(21:29):
looking at the bottom of the league right now, you're
seeing Miami, you're seeing Chicago White Sox, you're seeing a
team like you know, Toronto who's had a lot of
struggles in the early goings. And so when you're looking
at those numbers and looking at all the underlying numbers
for these teams. From the hitting perspective, I think you're
gonna find a lot of teams that really just don't
pay attention to detail and are playing a lot of
individual ball. And those are also kind of coincidentally, you're

(21:52):
not the teams that are also probably the worst in
baseball as well.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Absolutely, we have been noticing these teams that they don't
draw a lot of white he seems that they don't
go deep into pitch counts typically, they just have not
been able to us through like, for example, the Seattle Mariners,
a team that has been striking out more than ten
and a half times per game. That has been something
you guys, been very striking to be. They may do
with it with how amazing their pitching staff has been,

(22:17):
but I think that that's a team of intrigue to
take a look at moving forward, because they have both
been very good on the pitching side of things, and
they've been striking out like crazy this year.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
Absolutely, and I think one of the things in the
early goings that we've seen with like Seattle and Colorado
is in their elements, especially at T Mobile Ballpark. For Seattle,
it's definitely a pitcher's ballpark, and there's definitely a weather
factor there coming right off the ocean, and in the
early goings there was a lot of frigid nights that
they were playing in as well. And also talking from
the hitting perspective, they need just to get really Julio

(22:48):
Rodriguez going and just kind of get that lineup in
general going.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
I think that they have the star power to do it,
and I think they have the actual talent to do it.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
And once that offensive side it actually picks up, that
is going to be one of the most dangerous teams baseball.
It's just going to really come down to whether or not,
you know, at the deadline they can make some additions
to really bolster that lineup in total.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Absolutely, and I do think that they're going to be
one of those fascinating teams moving forward. As at AL West,
just in general, nobody has been able to break away
and run and hide with the division. As joining me
on the show, we do have Rob Donaldson, he does
workover at YouTube dot count side Shrob Donaldson joining me
right here on the Baseball Betting Show. And when it
comes to that, ALS, we've got two teams that are
going to be an action from that. That'd be the

(23:28):
Assers and the Oakland A's and Christianavier is going to
begin to start for Houston against show Yeses. And right
now with Oakland they find themselves out a plus one
to eighty five and a twelve eight and a half.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
How do you take a look at this matchup?

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Because with Oakland, they've actually been really good on the
pitching side of things thus far the season, and the
offense as we know it has been leaving a lot
to be desired. They've hit the deep ball, but they
have not done anything else because they've been hitting a
bunch of solo shots and as you know, for the Askers,
it's been a year of Murphy's law. Whatever can go
wrong will go wrong. How do you take a look
at both this game and these two teams moving forward.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
One of the things that's kind of unique about Oakland is,
you know, they are breaking in a lot of young players.
They're also kind of getting the scraps in terms of
just the entire league and throwing them in their starting lineup,
and they've been making do with it.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Is that stands so far.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
At the same time, I do think that the Coliseum
that they play in as well also kind of hinders
their offensive numbers too. You know, looking at this game
in particular against the Astros, who have had their own
offensive struggles, have had their pitching struggles, it's certainly an
interesting matchup and certainly an interesting line when you're looking
at a guy like Christian Xavier who's absolutely been struggling
in the hard hit ball department all season long, and

(24:38):
he's a minus two to ten minus two hundred north
of that favorite in a game where the Oakland a
Athletics actually have the better records. So just from that standpoint,
I feel like there has to be a little bit
of value I'm betting on the A's here and just
in total for this game. When you're looking at s
and Javier, I think that the first five inning was
We're going to actually see quite a few runs fly
off the board and a hitting friendly ballpark.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
So that's kind of my angle when I'm looking at
that ball game.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
Yeah, and the A's have actually had the far better
bullpen thus far the season, though, I do take a
look at Josh Hater and Ryan Presley, and I do
think that there's gonna be a little bit of positivity
for them. I'm not sure how you be this Astros team,
but when you dive into the advanced summers, it does
show that they've been a little bit unlucky this year.
And I just think that the biggest fear for myself

(25:22):
is with the Astros. Even though I do think that
they're going to improve as the season goes along, I
fear that perhaps they may have dug themselves just a
little bit too much of a hole to make the playoffs.
So as we know, this has been in aos where
nobody's really be overly impressive.

Speaker 5 (25:35):
I think that's kind of what's playing to the absolute
benefit of the Astros right now, is that nobody's really
been figuring out this division.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
I mean, the Rangers just got swept by the Rockies.

Speaker 5 (25:44):
The A's are the A's, and I think the Astros
have enough talent in their lineup in particular to actually
get this thing figured out and score enough runs too.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
They'll supplement a subpar rotation.

Speaker 5 (25:55):
Now you're adding Ronel Blanco was gonna miss a couple
of games here as well, and Framervall is a guy
who had.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
A shaky end to last season.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
And we'll see kind of how this season plays out
for him coming off of that great campaign last season.
In the regular season, justin Verlander, an aging star Christian
Javier has been getting tagged.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Hunter Brown is one of those guys who you know,
he might not even be a starter, you know, two
weeks from now.

Speaker 5 (26:17):
So it's just a crazy kind of up in the
air rotation, and I think that's going to play the
detriment of the Astros and it's finally caught up to
them just kind of relying on their in programmer in
franchise talent that they've grown up.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
It's just not there right now.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
Yeah, it's going to be really interesting to see where
they go moving forward because it is so winnable division,
but they are going to need to get a lot
from Christianavier and these X. You start somebody who he
himself just came off the injured. This says ab Donaldson,
who does great work with Rob's Best Bets Show, joined
me right here on the Baseball Betting Show. And then
I think the most interesting matchup of the day is
going to be this raz versus Red Sox game as

(26:54):
they're fighting out there in the aois. This is a
relative pickum game with both teams right around about them
minus one of five to a mice one ten and
a total of eight and a half.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
With Zach Little going up.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Against Cooper Kursball want to get your thoughts here, because
the Red Sox have been to me one of the
more surprising teams in all of baseball, and that I
just was not expecting the pitching to be quite as
good as it has been. Meanwhile, for the Rays, they
enter into Wednesday twenty seventh in the league in terms
of bullpenny r A and I think that that could
be their undoing in this last game of this four

(27:23):
game series.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yeah, absolutely, and you spoke to it.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
But the Red Sox pitching talent this season, or this
performance in general, I guess, has been absolutely spectacular. You
couldn't drop a better start if you were a Red
Sox fan coming into the season a little bit skeptical
on how your rotation would perform, and all of a
sudden they're the best of Major League baseball. So that's
definitely a you know, a nice little start to the season.
Whether that keeps up, I think that's up in the air.

(27:46):
But with Cooper Chris wall I do you expect a
little bit of negative regression for him just because the
last two times out, he's been getting tagged and he
has been going deep in ball games, but he hasn't
really been paying for the hard hits that he's giving
up ultimately, And when you are looking at the Rays
and Zach Little, you know, Zach Little right now is
having the season that a lot of Giants fans were
kind of looking back at his tenure with that ball club.

(28:08):
You know, they were very optimistic about him in a
starting role and being an actual guy that can hold
down the three or four spot. Well, Zach Little has
been pitching like a two or three surf so far
in the early going, and there's really no underlying numbers
on the surface right now to kind of say, hey,
that's gonna fall off. So in this matchup, I love
kind of sharpening it down to the first five innings

(28:28):
and fading Koper Chriswell and taking Zack Little and really
just kind of taking the run line with the race.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Through the first five.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Yeap with the Tampa Bay Rays a been able to
get some great pitching out of Zach Little, and I
could very much see a situation because Chriswall actually was
a part of the race organization coming up where both
of these guys go out there five six innings, they
both give up like one to two runs, and then
it becomes based on the bullpens, and then I think
from there you see a nice advantage with the Boss

(28:56):
and Red Sox.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
So that is going to be fascating to look at it.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Man, I know that Randy rose Rain has been hitting
a few runs, but that guy needs to start hitting
above a buck sixty.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
That has been not great, to say the least.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
But what has been rock solid has been taking a
look at the New York Yankees and the Minnesota Twins.
He's been two of the top teams in the American
League this far. And Joe Ryan is a very slight
favorite at about minus one fifteen minus one twenty against
Clark Schmid and the Yankees.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
In a total of eight.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Want to get your thoughts because with Clark Schmid, he
really threw a nice gym last time out. But he's
been like for me Captain Sadi Eddie, where you know
that he's gonna give you about five to six innings,
he's gonna give up somewhere in the neighbor of two
to three runs. Typically it's not demonstratively good but you
know that he's not gonna fail out on you as
well against a Twins lineup that was so rocky to

(29:41):
begin the season, but when they got those games against
the White Sox, they were able to get right back online.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (29:47):
Clark Schmidt, the way I refer to him is pretty
much in line with what you just outlined is he's
just the better version of Patrick Corbyn. You know, every
single time he takes the bump, he is gonna give
the Yankees a shot to win the game. And really
that's all you will one out of a guy who's
kind of fitting in on the back end of your
ritation man with Joe Ryan, you know, he's a very
fine pitcher, And I'll kind of leave it at that,

(30:08):
and I won't go above it because he's a guy
that I think can expect a lot of turbulence from
start to start because he does challenge a lot of hitters.
He doesn't have overwhelming strikeout power or strikeout stuff, and
he does give up a lot of hard hit balls,
but he does have some flashes of brilliance because he
does have a good enough arsenal that you know, when
he is challenging hitters, a lot of guys are just
kind of swinging and missing at the velocity and some

(30:30):
of the movement and some of the kind of pitches
that he has in correlation with one another. But at
the same time, when you're looking at this Yankees lineup,
I do think it's tailored two hit off of a
guy like Joe Ryan, And you know, kind of going
back to what we just talked about with Clark Schmidt,
I think that he's going to have them in this
ballgame no matter how deep he goes into it. So
when you are looking at this game, I like the
Yankees on the money line, and I also just kind

(30:52):
of like fading Joe Ryan and maybe just the hits
department on the over.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Yeah. With Joe Ryan, he has been giving up quite
a bit of contact and always say is that he's
done a much better job keeping the ball in the
yard when he's been at home rather than away from
home as best, a little bit more of a pitcher's ballpark.

Speaker 4 (31:08):
So that's gonna be something to take a look at.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
And Rob we've got a few games in the n
outside of things as well, with a lot of numbers
currently off the board with Pirates versus Cubs since his
regular field game. We just have no idea what that
total is. The reds End the Dodgers both have yet
to determine their starters, so that makes it a little
bit of a tough haiting cut player. But anything else
that you're going to be taking a look at for Thursday.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
And one of the things that I think is going
to be a constant theme until the books kind of
make an adjustment is just kind of fading against Justin
Steele because there's this notion out there right now that
Justin Steele is one of the aces in the entire
league and that he's, you know, an elite talent, and
I think eventually he could find that potentially, just because
of his stuff and what we've already seen him accomplish
in the league. That said, he has been a guy

(31:53):
that's been struggling with hard hit percentages dating back all
the way to last season, and he paid for last
time out against his Pirates lineup. Man, if the Pirates
are opening up anywhere near even money or even plus money,
I'd be all over that first five money line and
I would even reverse run line it with them as well.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Jared Jones has.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
Been pretty phenomenal and again I just kind of like
the angle on Fade and Justin Steele.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Right now, yeah, right now, seeing only one number out
there that is at DraftKings, that's a plus one twenty
on the Pittsburgh Pirates, I do think that you're gonna
be able to get that plus money on the Pittsburgh Pirates.
And it's always plus money to be able to get
you a board, Rob, as you do such a great
job taking a look at this game that we all
know and love, love the good people to them know.
It's all on tap for you and how people are
able to follow on on social media and other platforms.

So big thanks for Rob for joining me in last segment.

(33:43):
Now it is that time the podcast to give you
picks and analysis on every game on the betting board
for this Baseball Thursday as we touch them all.

Speaker 5 (33:50):
If a game is listed on the betting board, Greg
has a side and a total on it, so it
is time to touch them all.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Do you know that as per usual, any changes there
maybe these plays will be listened up my Twitter slash
x feed at gen Unders forty one. The way their
rotation order works is we go with the Nation League
games first, then the American League games. If we were
to have interleague games, those would be at the bottom.
We do not have any inter league games. A little
bit of a smaller card with six games, but we
got six fun ones. So let's dive it on this

(34:18):
first game of nine fifty one fifty two on the
betting board, the New York Mets are on the road,
facing up against the Philadelphi Phillies, says taba Maker goes
for the Phillis oseaiki donas on the bump for the Mets,
and the Mets to find themselves as an underdog, anting
between plus one twenty two to a plus one thirty two.
Meanwhile between minus one and forty three minus one forty
eighth number on the Phillies and half of se total

(34:38):
hundreds between minus one ten to a minus one fifteen,
the overs between minus one five to a minus one ten.
We want to go up to a minus one forty
five on the Phillies. Don't want to chance it on
the run line as the Phillies bullpen. It's starting to
look a little bit better. And we always known that
with the Phillies, they struggle a little bit with their
bullpen towards the beginning part of the season, then they
pick it up towards the back half of the season.

(34:59):
That's it With ty one Walker. Do have a little
bit of trepidation with him as well. With ty One Walker,
I feel like he is by far the weak link
in terms of Philadelphi Philly starting rotation. Personally, I'd be
throwing Spencer Turnbull as a starter myself. I recognize that
the injury concerns are there, but for timeon Walker, it's
posting up any fielding dependent of a five to twenty
forty two Era has ever been a great strikeout pitcher,

(35:21):
but he has been giving up the depot quite a
bit this season, and when he's really rolling, he's able
to keep the ball in the art. Thus far the season,
it's a small sample size of eighteen and two third sendings,
but has given up four home runs, and he goes
up against a Mets lineup that entered into yesterday number
one in the Big Leagues with regards to runs per
game on the road. They have been absolutely awful at
home at being able to generate runs, but they've been

(35:41):
great on the road. I have to wonder if they
got cooled down a little bit by what we saw yesterday.
But if I have Francisco Lindor, Pede Alonzo Reale and
I did for a lot of average, Alonso hitting about
it two twenty five, Lindor is hitting right around the
Medill's line of two hundred. But Wanza has been able
to give you nine to zer runs as far as
the season. Lindor has been able to give you a
nice lugging percentage, has been able to do a good
job moving and I don't know why they haven't given

(36:01):
Mark Vientos more playing time, but he's been able to
drive in a few runs. For this bunch, You've got
the likes of Starling, Marte, Tyrone, Taylor, Harrison Bader owing
above a two to fifty five for this team, but
the catcher spot has been miserable. Brandon Nimo has in
this so you're giving you a like lid. And for
the Philadelphia Phillies, this has been a tough light offense
all season long, in the top six in the Big
Leagues with regards to runs per game. Nick Cassianos has

(36:22):
had a rough start to the season, but he's starting
to pick it up a little bit. You've got Bryce
Herper now with a three to ninety on base and
ten home runs. Coleas Schwarber, he's given you about a
three thirty three on base and you just look up
and down the boulevard. For this Philadelphia Phillies team. Jan
Ross is clearly out there for its twelve, but Passy
and Nick cassianis pretty much everyone has been very solid
at being able to get on base. Move line, Bryce

(36:43):
and Stott no outing at two seventy five and elk
bowm earth of a four hundred on base and for
the New York Mets, it's going to be a little
bit of a rough four deal for Osei Kitano, who
was very good at being able to keep the ball
in the yard eight season ago, but we know that
he's not a guy that is necessarily going to do
the world's greatest job and being a bunch of strikeouts
or anything like that. And the command has just been
off this year. He's been giving up about four walks

(37:04):
per nine and Ennings it's hard to be a six
strike up per nine Enny guy when you're also giving
up four walks per nine. Now, the fielding depends more
around a four ninety seven that in comparison to the
five forty four era. That said, you could tell that
Kitana was a little bit more comfortable when he was
out there at City Field, that Pitchers Ballpark than he
was on the road last season. Now for the Mets,
working for them has been a bullpen that entered into

(37:24):
the series in the top eight in the big leagues
with regards to era. But we did see Edwin Diez
blow saved a few days ago. I do think that
there might be a little bit of inevitable regression for
the likes of Red Garrett, Sean reied Fully and company.
Dub I do think that they're so relatively solid, even
with Brooks Rayley being on the fold. That said, I
do think that the Phillies are going to be able
to get to Katana. I do think that ta well
Walker gives up a few runs as well.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
But I also do think that.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
There's going to be a little bit of negative regression
for the Mets on the road with regards they're hitting.
That said, still did somebody told it at eight point eight?
I do like the overend with the Phillies. What do
I have to have minds one forty five on this
money line. I'm fifty three nine fifty four on the bakeboard.
These Chicago Cubs are going to be playing us.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
It's prior.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
It says Jared Jones goes for the Buckoes, and the
Man of Steel, Justin Steele, is on the bump for
the Cubs. There is no numbers up in terms of
a total, as this is a regular field game that
is going to be based on the wind and is
going to be up in the am. But with that said,
we do know that we've got a few money lines
that with the Cubs are between minus one thirty five
and minus one forty two favorites plus one twenty plus

(38:21):
one twenty five is that number on Pittsburgh. As of
right now, we do not have any run line prices.
And it looks like the wind is going to be
blowing out, but it's gonna be blowing out at about
like eight or so miles per hour in this one.
It's not gonna be anything like over the top and
super duper demonstrative, buddy. It's gonna be blowing a little
bit out, which is why I so my totally were
a nine or less. I'm gonna be looking at the

(38:43):
over nine and a half or higher to the under end.
I'm gonna be willing to back Justin Steele here. I
did set the Cubs out of minus one fifty nine
on the money line. For Justin Steele, it's been a
case where he's been able to do a very nice
job of being able to locate, being able to command
over the last few seasons. And he gets to go
up against a Pittsburgh Priorate team found a little bit
more offense against the Milwaukee Bers and over the last

(39:03):
seven days it's been a touch better for them. That's
that I very much still do on my question marks
with this Pittsburgh Pirates lineup you've had on Yo Cruz tonight,
Y'll be able to generate some plus some runs as
far as this season. But that said, you've got a
lot of guys that have been touching go counter. Joe
has made things go with about a three sixty on base.
He's hitting for about a two eighty five. You expect
a little bit more moving forward out of Brian Reynolds

(39:24):
as well. Reynolds has been able to give you about
a two to fifty with a three forty two on base,
but just not a lot of power Outside of Cruise,
Reynolds and Joe. You've only got one other guy that's
given you north a four home runs and Andrew McCutcheon
as he Rowdy tell As, Michael Ay Taylor, Jacksonnisky, Henry Davis,
who has been up and down at the minor league
level hitting a two twenty or lower. That's just a
little bit less than tremendous, and I was expecting a

(39:46):
bit more out of this bullpen as well. For the
Pirates world of Shadman David Bennar, they have been rough
thus far this season. Both of these guys' supplying in
the array that is north of four for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Overall,
their bullpenning array right round about league average, just slightly
below average. I think that they have dropped down outside
the top twenty as of right now, despite the fact
that you've been able to have cold and the Holderman
give you some good endings. They get Carmen Boldozinski bag

(40:08):
and the fold WHI should be able to help things out,
but been very touch and go with them. For the
cod Cubs, it's been a rough bullpen as well. Twenty
fourth in the Big leaks with regards to their Rowpenny Ray, though,
I do think that there should be a little bit
of positivity Julian Marray Weather being out of the fold
has hurt the scene, but Mark later Junior is giving youself, Oney,
Ray need to get looked little online. That seventy ra
that is relatively rough, but Avioda sad giving them a
good story yesterday that should be able to help this

(40:29):
seam out. And for Justin Seal coming off the injur
list hasn't necessarily looked the world's sharpest as of right now.
He's only been able to go and combine eight two
thirds innings and its two starts back got shelled by
the Pirates last time around. I do expect him to
be much better in this start. As he puts it
up in the ARA that was about a full point
better at home rather than on the road. A season
going for Jared Jones, he has been a strikeout artist.
He has been able to generate north of ten and

(40:51):
a half strikeouts. Bernie and Ings posting up two sixty
eighty arra fielding depends a little bit of iris. He's
been giving up about a home run and a half
Berni and nings up with the wind blowing out. I
do think that's going to be it is advantage against
the Cubs line up that still zoom. With the injury
to dans Wy Swonson, I said, you have got guys
like Cody Bellinger along with sa Suzuki returning to the fold.
And ever since Bellinger has come off the injury list,
he has been very rock solid.

Speaker 4 (41:12):
For this bunch.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
You've been able to Mike Toaklin give you a three
ninety one on base. Nico Horner is thinking about a
two seventy for this seam. Even though Michael Bush has
fallen back to earth in terms of his power numbers
after he had a few weeks ago a streak where
he had five home runs in five games, still been
able to give you about a three twenty on base,
still doing a solid job being able to move the line.
So I do think that with the Cups, you've got
some relatively solid value. When it's all sudden done, I

(41:33):
think that I should be able to get a good
run line price. I'd be willing to take a plus
one twenty or higher with the guards to run line.
I think we should be able to get there. So
when it's all sudden done. Gonna be looking at the
Cubs on the run line. Like I said, with guards
to total nine or luss, I'd like the over nine
a half r are gonna be looking at the under
nine fifty five, nine fifty six on the bank board.
It is the Cincinnati Reds. Yes, we are on the
Cincinnati and they're onto the road to face off against

(41:54):
the La Dodgers. It is old to be determined on
the bump for the Dodgers. That it's old to be
determined on the bumps for Cincinnati. Escape is completely off
the board. When I was looking before, they were lining
up Tyler Glass now against Nicoldolo. And if you were
to get this matchup, I'd be willing to lay up
to a minus one ten on the Dodgers on the
run line, set them out of minus two eight on
the money line. So I need at lesa puso nine

(42:14):
to take sean on the Reds eight or less. I'd
be looking at the over eight and a half rier
to the under. Right now, it's looking like Nicolodolo might
not be making this start for the Cincinnati Reds. And well,
if you get someone like a Nick Martinez out there,
that's probably have forty cent there for Ranchel, so that's
not great to say the least. You're probably gonna be
staring at the Dodgers being more like a minus one

(42:35):
twenty five to a mince one thirty on the run line.
If you get something like a Nick Martinez, if he
gets some young gun that we've never heard of, making
a startup bullpen game something like that. As for you,
since a Red's just been really rough in terms of lineup,
they're actually averaging more runs per game when they're on
the road rather than when they have been at home.
But it's been Elie Daila Cruz and not a whole
lot else. He and Spencer Seer both give you about

(42:56):
a three fifty five to three sixty on base Dayla
Cruise nine on runs as far as season, and nobody
else on the roster has given you more than five,
as Will Benson has been that guy. But for Will
Benson he now on the Injurlest Christian and Karnassi on strand,
Nick Martini Santiago's penals to her fairchild. They're all eating
a two hundred or lower.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
For the seam.

Speaker 2 (43:13):
Jonathan India has given you about a three forty on base,
but he's not dating for a lot of average has
supplied just to him runs. As far this season, the
Reds have been really rough in terms of their lineup.
You were thinking that when Nick Lodolo was supposed to
get the start. All right, they've got themselves a little
bit of a punch with chance here. But if you're
getting someone like a Nick Martinez, he's a picture contact
guy that's only going to be able to fill a
few endings. And it's not as if he's been backed

(43:33):
up by a bullpen that has been amazing, especially with
Sam molebing in and now the folds should be good
to go in this one for mister Moles, so that
helps him out a little bit. But that said, this
is a Cincinnati Reds bullpen that has been hovering right
around about eighteenth in the league in terms of bullpenning.
Or Ben Souter is able to give you a few wenings.
He used to be a starter, but not a place
where you want to be. And for the Ellie Dodgers,

(43:54):
this has been a pretty solid bullpen. They're looking to
really revitalize the career JP fire Rise and after a
few seasons go he was very good with the Tampa
Bay Rays. You've had to use up a bullpen game yesterday,
and you've got to expected if Tyler glass now Dolls
indeed make this start, which I'm fully expecting him to do, so,
he's going to be able to fill those settings for
Glass own. He's won six plus innings in each of
his last four starts, has been very dominant all season long.

(44:16):
He's getting north of eleven strikeouts for nine ennings, has
given up fewer than zero point seven home runs per
nine and nnings. You just take a look up and
down the boulevard and he has been great, and so
is the Sali Dodgers lineup. With the Dodgers, I mean,
this has become the death star of baseball. Joyo Tani
right now as the best hitter on the face of
planet Earth, hitting a three sixty to twelve home runs
entering into yesterday. You've got nine home runs out of

(44:36):
taosk Gernandez, nine home runs out of Max Muncie Mooviie
Betts has given north of four to twenty five on
base Freddy Freeman is hitting about it two ninety five.
Well Smith is getting jiggy with it. Really, other than
James Auman along Gavin Lucks at the bottom of the fold,
ending right around two hundred. All these guys have been
very formidable. So if you do get like some sort
of a bullpen game against Tyler Glass, now I'd be

(44:56):
willing to set the Dodgers even closer to a minus
one thirty a run and a half. I would probably
need about a plus two forty five to AE plus
two fifty to take shot on the reds depending on
the situation. If you do get Nick Loodol, I'd be
willing to take more like a plus two oh eight
on the red Side'd be setting that Dodgers run line
more around a minus one ten and right now, in
terms of the total, whether it is Lodolo or a
bullpen game, weaning towards an eight or less of the over,

(45:18):
eight and a half ride to the under might be
one to go to an eight and or a half
or less to the over if you've got a rough
bullpen ordeal with the Since I reads a little bit TBD,
there nine to fifty seven, nine to fifty eight on
the bank board. The New York Yankees hit throw to
face off against the Minnesota Twins. Joe Ryan is on
the bump for the Twins, and Clark Schmidt is on
the bump for the Yankees, and the Yankees are slight
underdogs there anywhere between plus one oh two to a

(45:39):
plus one zero eight. Meanwhile, between minus one fifteen minus
one twenty two is a number on Minnesota. Eight is
a total overs between minus one five to one minus
one fifteen, and the same goes for the under end.
I set the Twins at a minus one twelve right now,
we're finding one straight minus one twelve out there, and
I do expect a little bit of money to come
in on the Yankees. So if we can get that
minus one twelve price a one take shot on the

(46:00):
Twins on the money line. For Joe Ryan, he's always
had a little bit of a problem giving up the
deep ball, but much of that has been on the
road when he's been at home. He's just been a
little bit of a different pitcher throughout his career, and
Joe Ryan has really reduced on the deep ball thus
far this season, giving up about one point one five
home runs ber Nin and Ennings, So it's been pretty
stable there and unlike throughout much of his career, has
actually been much more rough at home rather than on

(46:21):
the road. This season for sixty three homi Ara Buck
eighty five e are on the road. It's still a
little bit early, but STRACOUN numbers have certaly been there.
He's been able to get about ten punchouts Bernie Ennings
and really is not walking a soul about one point
two bucks Burnin. Ing's going up against Clark Schmid. Just
a very steady eddy guy. You know what you're going
to be able to get out of Clark Schmidt. He
in his last I believe now thirty four starts has

(46:42):
given up three earned runs or fewer, and all but
three of them he's given up a whole bunch of threes,
but he doesn't give up early more than three. And
on the road this season he's been very good. And
his four road starts, it's given up six runs, five
of which we've been earned. For Clark Schmidt, he's up
to ten straight cuts Bernees. He's been rock solid and
he's backed up by Yankees bullp that's in the top
three in the big leagues in terms of VRA. You've

(47:02):
been able to have ron By Nanaccio along with Ian
Hamilton main seats from last season once again be able
to duplicate the success that they did have a season ago.
Luke Weaver, I'm waiting for the bottom of fallout on him,
but he's been able to give you some three era
Victor Gonzalez has been rock solid out of that bullpen.
Caleb Ferguson a little bit of a disaster coming over
from the Dodgers, but really passed out. All these guys

(47:23):
have been very good, including Clay Holmes who has yet
to give up and earn run out of that bullpen.
And for the Minnesota Twins, they have been able to
really heat up with the bat. It's been incredible what
we've seen out of Ryan Jeffers, who's been able to
ait North with two seventy five. He's applying a double
figure a mount of fomers. Edward Julien has not it
for a lot of average, but he's given you some
plus runs as far the season. And you've gotten a

(47:43):
lot of guys back at the full like Ose Moranda,
Carlos Correa, Willie cass righting in between about a two
sixty two two eighty. Trevor Laarnich is sitting above a
three on after you had just a doldrum for this
lineup when they were deal with all their injuries. These
guys are back in full force. And back in full
force is Aaron Judge for the Yankees. Up to eleven
home run this season. After a miserable start to the
season here in the month of May, over the last

(48:04):
two and a half, for so weeks, he has looked
like the Aaron Judge that we all know in love
over the last fifteen days, five home runs over the
course of his last like forty five or so, Pats
giving you north of a four rm base. This is
what we expect out off You've had Won Soto give
you north of a four armed base. And what is
so big for the Yankees is that though this is
a little bit of a boom er Bus lineup, you've
got the likes of Anthony Rizzo, Anthony Volpe as well

(48:25):
Abo Carbrera being able to just consistently move the line
Alex Verdugos while these guys are in between about a
two fifty two two sixty five. So credit where credit
is due there. I do think that both of these
starters are going to be able to give you a
relatively solid start. But both of these lineups are stepping
up as well. I do think that the Twins find
away with their bullpen. They have slipped outside the top
ten with regards to their era. But yander On, I
think is going to be restored at that closer spot

(48:47):
sooner rather than later. He's been tremendous in the bullpen.
Cool Stands has been a little bit while lely recently
after a good start to the season, he's up to
a north of a four ERA up lone with Cody Funderberg,
who's up to north of a three ERA. But Griffin
Jackson has been able to give you some good endings.
And I do think that the Twins find a way
to get it done, as I do think that Ryan
gives you just a little bit more than clerkshmid I
did set my total at eight point two. I think
that this is a classic Clerks may give up three

(49:09):
runs to six ouning sort of spots. So looking at
the over and I do like the Twins on the
money line up to a minus one twelve. Now you
might dk new work right a pick nine fifty nine
nine sixty on the baking board. The Boston Red Sox
they play us to Tampa Bay Rays. Zach Little is
on the Momp for the Rais and Cooper Criswell goes
for Boston. Boston is between a minus one five to
a minus one ten favorite with the Rays, or find
them between minus one of two to a minus one ten,

(49:30):
So pretty much pick them game in f Z total
over and under any between minus one five to a
minus one fifteen. Right a pick is going to be
on the Red Sox money line. I did set them
at a minus one thirty three. I like what I've
seen out of Cooper Chriswell this season. Now, is his
fielding independent a little bit higher than that two ten
year I absolutely it is. But he's been very stable,
giving up only one point eight waltch eight point eight

(49:51):
strike CAUs per nine, and he's two earned runs or
fewer allowed in all six of his pitching appearances this season.
As he's been utilized as a long guy in the
bullpen once, I think that once or twice they utilize
an opener for him as well. But all in all,
this guy has been incredible, and Zach Little, I think
is going to be able to give you a good
started as well. He has been great for the race
three or two EURA, but at two fifty three feeling
you're giving up to zero point six on runs to

(50:12):
one point for Wasspernin and Ennings. He's getting nine Straightcuds,
Berni and Nnings. Zach Little has been very good. Cooper
Criswell has been very good where things go right for
the Tampa Bay Race as a bullpen as it has
been miserable for them as far as the season. They
get back p Fairbanks after he was all over the
place to begin the season, but entering into the day
on Wednesday, the race twenty seventh in the Big leagues

(50:34):
in terms of bullpenning, ARA and under the radar, this
Boston Red Sox team is number five in the Big
leagues with regards to their Bullpenny Ray. You've had Brandon Bernardino,
Justin Slayton be two relatively good long guys. You have
seen Chris Martin be a little bit Wallaby for this seam,
but Kenley Jansen in save spots has been pretty much
nails as far as this season. And on the flip
side for the Tampa Bay Race, Garrett Clevenger, Launcheon Armstrong,

(50:56):
these guys have been relatively solid, but just you're gonna
be able to get out of the seam night and
night out. And for the Tampa Bay Rays, this team
entered into the night on a Wednesday. Everything about three
point seventy five runs per game away from home. That
ranks twenty fifth in the Big League, nineteenth overall in
terms of runs per game. But really what is lacking
for the Tampa Bay Rays is a firepower in terms.

Speaker 4 (51:14):
Of the depot.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
You've been able to have a sack parades to a
really good job. Give me a three eighty five on
base seen plus home runs and Randy rose Rain is
up to eight home runs, but a ros Ar Rain
is sitting just a buck fifty six. Now, you do
have guys are able to find a way on I'm
talking about parade. So you've got Richie Palacio sitting about
a two seventy five ben road fit Josh Lol. These
guys a hearing about a three hundred. But for the
Boston Red Sox, having Tyler O'Neil in the fold is big.

(51:36):
Overall for the season, the Red Sox or everything about
four point three runs per game when O'Neill is in
the fold. That starts a four point four runs per
game when he's on the fold, more like three point
eight runs per game, so O'Neill and his nine plus
home runs is on base percente of a three seventy
five is big. Rafilel Devers has been down a little
bit in terms of power with just five home runs,
but he's doing a great job getting on base, as
he connored long Wiler Obray. I'll give you at least

(51:59):
a three to sixty are on base. The biggest thing
is some of the young guys at the bottom of
the foll the likes of Pablo Ray, Sadine Rafaela, David Hamilton,
these guys two fifteen or Laura's Ben Rough. But Jaron
Duran has been able to do a very solid job
hitting about a two sixty five at the top. I
do think the Cooper Chris Well, it's gonna stick it
to his old organization of the Tampa Bay Rays made
the Red Sox minus one thirty three in the spot.

(52:19):
So my right up pick is going to be on
the Red Sox money line. And I do think that
you're going to see a little bit of run scoring
in this one. I do think that the Red Sox
he a little bit of regression with the bullpen, but
I think that the Rays still struggling with their bullpen.
I think that both of these starters are doing for
a little bit of regression. Did something total out an
eight point seven Boston very much a hitter shaven, So
I do like the over by my right up that's
going to be on the Red Sox money line. We
wrapp things up with nine sixty one nine sense he

(52:40):
do on the bagy board the Houston Astros to do
play us to the Oakland A's. Joey yesis is on
the bump for the A's and gonna shin of here
is on the bump for Houston. Houston's between minus two
oh five to minus two twenty favorites any between plus
one eighty plus one eighty five is that number on
Oakland eight and alf is The total or is minus
one fifteen. The under is minus one of five. If
you're looking to lay a run and a half with
the Asters, you're going to be getting them anywhere between

(53:02):
even money to minus one to five on that run line.
I was willing to go up to a minus one
o two right now at circum I'm seeing a minus
one o two, so I'm gonna be willing to lay
a run half. I set the money line more around
at two of six, the Aids have been quite good
at being able to cover the run line, but do
have some question marks with Joey Yes says, first start out,
he actually looked quite good. He goes out there, he
gives up one run over the course of five innings,

(53:22):
gets five strikeouts, and the A's really do have a
lot of good young arms and their bullpen. That said,
they had to throw Aaron Brooks yesterday. It wasn't a
complete disaster for Aaron Brooks, but that said, they did
have to utilize more of their bullpen pieces. I'm sure
that they would have liked it for the open as
this has been a team that's been in the top
ten in the big leagues in terms of bullpenny araight,
but now they're doing with an injury to Dannium Menez.

(53:43):
So as a result, you're looking to someone like Tyler
Ferguson trying to hold down the fort for the scene.
You've had the likes of Michael Kelly, Alson, Adams, Lucas
Sersage give you a some three five yari and Mason
Miller has been amazing in the closers role. Meanwhile, you
do have a Heaston. ANSWER's bullpen that's in the bottom ten.
It turns a bullpenny aarray. If you look at the
fielding de peninzel of both Josh Hayd and Ryan Presley,
positivity should be coming through Bryan A. Bray. You sales

(54:04):
North with a three to five yar a, but he's
been picking it up a little bit as well. And
then for the East Sinaster it's the one thing that
you don't have concerned with is the same inning at home.
They're the number one slugging percentage team when they've been
in Houston thus far this season, You've got Kyle Tucker
has been able to give you a double figure amount
of bombs with a four hundred on base. Let's say
all two ve ard on Al Red some plus home
runs a piece with al twove give you about a
three seventy five on base in Jeremy Pania, no, he

(54:26):
hasn't it for a lot of power. He's been able
to do a nice shot hitting about a three point
thirty with a three seventy five on base. Joey Lefto
hopefully has said that correctly. He's got relatively similar numbers
in a smaller sample size as well. And for the
oaklen A's I thought this team is in the top
three in the Big leagues with regards though home runs
per game away from home, it hasn't resulted in a
lot of runs because these are a whole bunch of
solo shots with a bunch of guys that can't move line.

(54:48):
Brent Rooker and Abraham Torro were the only two guys
in the starting lineup yesterday then entered in the game
inning above a two forty five. If had the likes
of Zach Galah, JD. Davis, shay Leanngelaire is Brett Harris,
these guys hitting a two fifteen or lower, though I
will for say for shay Leangelayers, Shae Banggs as he
and Brent Rooker combined nineteen home runs entering in the
day yesterday. As Steria, Ruiz has great wheels when he's

(55:10):
able to get on base. Problem is he's given you
a sub three hundred on base as well. For Christian
Avi here, he has spent quite a bit of time
on the injured list, but when we have seen Kristian
Avier out there, he's looked a little bit more like
the guy of old in terms of just the raw numbers.
How if you look at the advanced numbers, you can
tell that the strikeout numbers, they're down right now six
half strikecouts, five and a half walks per nine nine
four one or eight five oh eight field independent. That's

(55:33):
a little bit concerning. In his last start out coming
off the injury list against Detroit, he got just completely shelled.
He gave up seven runs and he only got four outs.
I do think that he's going to be able to
adjust there, and I do think that this is going
to be able to help him out a little bit
going up against the Oakland A's. I did set my
total at at eight point one in this ver deal.
I do think that figures it out against an a
team that has had a very difficult time moving the

(55:53):
line on the road. Hey, I do think that Joey
Sis gives you a relatively okay start as well. But
I do think that the asker is going to continue
to improve fist bullpen. So I do like the under
and I do like the answers laying a run half
up to a minus one or two and not a
wrap things up for the Thursday edition of The Baseball
