NHI is a health finance program that combines resources to give all South Africans, regardless of socioeconomic background, access to high-quality and reasonably priced personal health care. All South Africans will have access to health care through this fund; the NHI fund will pay for your care, therefore there won't be any admission fees. With two significant exceptions, medical assistance programs accomplish exactly the same thing.
