Over the past 15 years, I have been told
repeatedly, rj, the reason whyyou're able to achieve the
results that you are is becauseof your consistency, and at
first, I was slightly offendedby this statement made by either

(00:34):
friends or family members, oreven colleagues, but I realized
over the course of time that itwas one of the greatest
compliments that anyone couldever give you.
And the reason why is becausethe majority of people are
already consistent.
It's just whether or not youmake the decision to be

(00:56):
consistent, to move toward yourgoals, or if you are
consistently reviewer,consistently avoiding achieving
the results that you want.
I have a saying consistent as atree.
Now, I came up with this sayinga couple of years ago and I
don't know if I actually came upwith it or if I heard it
somewhere else and I stole it.
When I look it up, there was abook written in 2023 called

(01:20):
Consistent as a Tree.
When I look it up and I googlesearch it, there are sayings
around consistent as a tree, butI'm just gonna say I'm claiming
it.
I came up with this sayingbecause I'm the only person that
I know that uses it asfrequently as I do every single

(01:41):
person that comes inside oftitanium university, I tell them
you need to watch the mindsetmodules, the core fundamentals
of what we have built ourorganization on, and one of them
is consistent as a tree.
And what do I mean by thatsaying consistent as a tree?
That I've had in my head isthat we want our business to

(02:05):
grow in the same growth patternas a tree.
We don't want to grow as allthe other little pretty flowers
in the garden, the ones thatcome and go, the ones that, if
you have them in your yard, youhave to worry about them.
You have to take care of them.
See trees, you don.
You have to worry about them,you have to take care of them.

(02:26):
See trees, you don't reallyhave to worry about them.
Why?
Because they have a strongfoundation, the root systems.
They start with a seed, justlike any other plant out there,
but they grow and theyconsistently grow and they live
longer and, honestly, more oftenthan not, you don't even notice

(02:48):
the trees growing.
It just it is constantlygrowing and it ends up being the
biggest plant out of all ofthem.
That's what I want my businessto look like.
I don't really want people tosee the ups and then the downs.
I just want to see them going.
Look at that overnight success.
Even though we've been anentrepreneur for the past 15

(03:10):
years, sometimes it feels thatway.
So in today's episode I want totalk about how can you grow to
become more consistent.
And the first thing I kind ofslightly touched on it, but I
want to dive a little bit deeperinto this.
You are probably alreadyconsistent in your life.
You probably consistently dothe same things when you wake up

(03:33):
in the morning and when you getready for the day.
Maybe you're consistently onyour phone and you're constantly
swiping through social media,having that imposter syndrome,
comparing yourself to everyone,losing all the joy that you have
for life.

(03:53):
Maybe you're consistentlyavoiding taking that action that
is necessary.
This is where you have to makea decision that, moving forward,
the consistency that youalready have in your life you're
going to change to achieve thegoals that you've set out for
yourself, wherever that is inyour journey.

(04:15):
Maybe you're brand new and youwant to start wholesaling.
You have to set a goal foryourself.
What is that?
One goal a month?
Have to set a goal for yourself.
What is that?
One goal a month?
Get a goal or get a deal thisyear, whatever that looks like.

(04:36):
Set an achievable goal.
One of the things that I'vedone for myself is breaking down
whatever goal I want to achievetoday.
I think if you could do that,if you can set an achievable
goal every single day, that willthen inevitably get you to a
massive, much larger goal in thefuture.
When you set a daily goal foryourself, the other thing that
happens is you force yourselfinto daily action in order to

(05:01):
achieve said goal.
This allows you to become moreconsistent.
Make sure that, whatever thatis, you are going to be able to
follow through with the actionsnecessary.
What I mean by that is, if youhave a W-2 and you say I want to
do a deal a day, but you knowthere's going to be days where
you're not going to be able topick the phone up and call

(05:22):
sellers, don't set a goal to doa deal a day.
It has to be achievable,because one of the things that
can kill consistency is the lossof morale and realizing this
isn't going to work.
I don't have the time, I don'thave the bandwidth, I don't have
the resources necessary toachieve said goal.

(05:43):
So make sure you set a goalthat is achievable.
Once you have that goal in mind,I want you to put together a
plan and identify the mostimportant task that you need to
take every single day to achievethat goal, whatever that item
is.
This is very important.

(06:05):
When we onboard people insideof Titanium University, we give
them hey, there's certainmodules that we want you to
watch coming and underwriting,acquisitions, mindset but what I
don't want you to do is getlost into watching the
transaction coordination and thedispositions modules.
If you're still at the pointwhere you're not having

(06:27):
consistent lead generation andacquisitions and you don't even
have a property under contract,why would you watch a
dispositions module?
See, this is where people getlost, where it's like, hey, I'm
going to do this task and it'sgoing to move me closer to my
goal, but it can also cost youtime and the opportunity to

(06:49):
actually achieve the goal.
And again, what happens when wedon't achieve our goal?
We lose that morale, we losethe energy and the zest for
going out and being consistent.
This is one of the things thatcan really kill your consistency
on a daily basis.
So make sure that you areprioritizing your task and

(07:09):
you're doing the most importanttask every single day.
For us that are wholesalers.
I can tell you, the mostimportant task that you can do
every single day is picking thephone up and calling a motivated
seller making an offer andsending a contract.
That should be the mostimportant task that you're
prioritizing every single day.

(07:31):
Now, once you have your tasksand your goals, you now need to
set a daily and weekly routinewhere you know what you are
going to do on Mondays.
For example, I know for a factI'm not going to be calling
motivated sellers on Tuesdays at2.22 pm.

(07:51):
I'm not going to do a titaniumuniversity implementation call
because I'm going to be live onYouTube.
That is a habit, it is aroutine Every single Tuesday at
2.22, I'm going to be live, andI have many of those examples
where that is a habit.

(08:11):
At this point, you need to makesure that you are creating a
routine for yourself that youcan live by.
And here's the thing Consistencyis boring, it's not meant to be
exciting and it's fresh and oh,there's all these new things.
The money is made in beingboring and mundane and doing the

(08:33):
necessary tasks over and overand over again, to the point
where you become an expert andthen you can delegate those
tasks out to the people that youhire underneath you.
But you have to become theexpert in those tasks.
And how do you do that?
Consistency, becoming great atwhat you're doing and

(08:54):
understanding, backwards andforwards, exactly what is
necessary to achieve the goalthat you set out for yourself.
Now the next thing that you needto focus on after you have
identified hey, this is going tobe my routine make sure that
you have an environment thatallows you to actually do the
things that are necessary.

(09:15):
Okay, I talk about this all thetime.
I love my environment, I lovemy office, I love my little
setup.
I wouldn't change it for theworld.
You can give me the fanciestoffice out there and I would say
this is where this is my happyplace.
This is where I create themagic.
I love my atmosphere.
Why?
Because one, it eliminatesdistractions.

(09:39):
Now, for you, your atmospheremight not be the distraction,
but if it is, you have to find away to create an atmosphere
that those distractions go away.
Many of you nowadays arestruggling with the fact that
the distraction is the thingthat I'm asking you to pick up
and use to call motivatedsellers the phone.
It's absolutely a problem.

(10:00):
Social media you're watchingthis video right now on social
media Facts.
Are you watching this video isprobably a distraction from the
task that you should becompleting.
That's okay, you're here, youcan go ahead and finish it.
Make sure you like the video inthe meantime.
That being said, you need tolimit as many distractions as

(10:23):
possible.
Be in an atmosphere that allowsyou to be as productive as
possible.
Now, once you've done that, youstart taking those actions and
creating that routine andeliminating the distractions.
You need to track the results,go back and look at it and say,
hey, I'm being consistent, butam I actually generating the

(10:47):
results that I need to achievethe goal?
This is the key withconsistency.
Sometimes we do thingsconsistently and we feel good
about ourselves, but it's notgetting us to the goal.
Maybe the goal that you set foryourself was not attainable.

(11:07):
Maybe the necessary task, theroutine that you set for
yourself, does not match up andallow you to achieve said goal.
So, track those results, tweakwhere you need to and make sure
that it's actually attainable Atthe end of the day.

(11:27):
You guys need to look atyourself and realize actually,
look at what you do Mondaythrough Sunday and ask yourself
am I consistent?
Do I pretty much do the samething every Monday and every
Tuesday, so on and so forth.
If so, and you're not gettingthe results that you want,

(11:48):
you're already consistent as atree.
You just need to change thoseactions to the things that are
necessary to achieve the goalsthat you want for yourself.
And it sounds easy, because itactually is.
See, I looked at our health andfitness journey that we started
last February and at the time Iwasn't eating healthy, I wasn't

(12:12):
working out, I was consistentlyeating poorly and not working
out.
What did I have to change?
Well, eat different.
Okay, I still eat at the sametimes.
I still eat food.
It was just different food, allright.
And then I carved out onelittle different habit, one
little routine go work out, dothis workout, carve that time

(12:36):
out.
I put that in, consistentlyshowed up.
Results changed.
I was already consistentlydoing something, changed it and
the results changed.
It can be as simple as that.
I like to simplify everythingin my life.
That's how I mentally overcomeoh my goodness, I'm fat and I

(12:56):
have to go lose all this weight.
No, you don't.
You just need to eat differentand work out.
If you do that, the resultswill change.
It's the same thing inside ofyour business.
So wake up and decide.
I'm now going to be consistentas a tree but to achieve my
goals, have a new routine.
I'm going to avoid thedistractions that take me away

(13:18):
from those.
I'm going to track my results.
If you do that, one day youmight be offended in the fact
that someone says you sure areconsistent.
What an overnight success.
