An experienced Veterinarian in Atlanta. Dr. Azalia Boyd holds a Bachelor's and Doctorate. She practices Emergency Surgery. Dr. Boyd has held many leadership roles and after being a longtime Supporter of CARE is now the Committee's 1st Chair.
Her motto after completing an array of different courses allows her to connect with her patients and their owners to better the health of the pets and be able to change a small part of her world and make a difference. In Honor of Black History Month we discuss the fact that there is little diversity and only 32 Colleges that serve for future vets and only 104,000 Veterinarians in the US. Most white. Most women.
