did they become a sponsor of the show? And why

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Right?
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Hello? Why did no one call me into the meeting
at K you to discuss this? All right? Thank you, Coco. Yeah,
you want to know why? Uh, it's not low Testosterone's
called a blizzard. That is what why this midsection is
the way that it is. It's the fact that I
run to the dairy queen, I eat the blizzard, and
I uber home because you know, tell me he's a
little bit whatever. But yeah, one hundred bucks in DQ.
(02:28):
My god, Well, then the city then do straight, Jason,
let's hear how that sounds? Okay? Girl, I like them jeans,
Let me get up in them.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I would feel fairly confident that you were not, in
fact hitting on a woman if you were to deliver
the message in that way. We Freads Show is on

commercial free Fread show starts right now. Hi, Kaelin good morning,
Hi Jason Brown, Hi Paulina Mary Bella means here the

(03:02):
for both waiting by the phone is new and next,
why did somebody get ghosted? Will investigate? Show me Shelley's
bath in about twenty minutes. Seven hundred bucks is the price.
No one's happier than Kiki nobody. But she went and
had a baby, and she left behind a six game
win streak in seven hundred bucks. One. That's a big number.
I'm not used to that. One thousand and ten wins
(03:24):
and sixty eight losses. That just looked like a crazy
number to me. Are we sure about that? We are?
It's a big ass number.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
I made sure to check.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Okay, good, Yes, So you may double check out the
Animal Seamer of fourth this hour and see what are
you working on k for that?
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Samuel L.
Speaker 5 (03:39):

Kendrick's Super Bowl halftime performance.
Speaker 1 (03:44):

Speaker 6 (03:55):
On ever been left waiting by the phone.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
It's the Fred Show. Tim, Good morning, Welcome to the show.
How are you.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Oh, I'm hanging in there, guys, how are you guys
doing doing?
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Okay? What's going on with this woman? Olivia? How did
you guys meet? Tell us about any dates you've been on?
And then kind of why you think maybe you're being ghosted? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:14):
So Olivia and I we met on the apps. You know, Uh,
the trail was old as time, right, Uh?
Speaker 1 (04:22):
And is it tails of this time or is it
tail so old as ship? I believe you said it correctly,
but anyway, all right, so yeah, so then what and.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
You know, we we had good conversations. So we switched
to texting and we were messaging back and forth, and
you know, things were good. Uh, and we were working
on setting up a date and I threw out a
couple of couple of ideas and then uh, and then
I stopped hearing from her.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Okay, so the state never took place. So this does
happen every now and again. But like you're puzzled because
you never even met this person, So, like, what could
you have possibly screwed up before you even went on
a date?
Speaker 3 (05:01):
Exactly like I didn't. I didn't have a chance to
say anything rude or or incredibly stupid, or be mean
to wait staff or like like anything.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Listen, I don't know. Listen to me. How could he
have screwed this up? Let me count the way. Okay,
let me count the ways. But let's just give you
the benefit of the doubt, Tim, And let's just assume
that you did everything right. You were excited to meet
Olivia and you never even got the first date, which
is perplexing. I mean, and I would probably bug me too,
Like I even get to the date and you're upset
(05:31):
with me. So we're gonna call Olivia. You're gonna be
on the phone. We're gonna ask these questions on your
behalf and try and get some answers. And at some
point you're welcome to jump in on the call. And
the hope is always is that we can straighten this
out and set you guys up on I guess, in
this case, your first date and pay for all. Right, Tim,
let's call Olivia. You guys, you never actually went on
a first date. You matched, you talked about dating a date,
(05:54):
you actually went from the app to texting, which is
usually a pretty good sign. And then before the date
actually happened and this woman disappeared. You haven't heard from
her since, and you want to know why exactly. All right,
let's call Olivia now, good luck, thank you? Hello? Hi
(06:14):
is this Olivia? Yes, hi, Olivia. My name is Fred.
I'm going from the Fred's Show, the Morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need you on
permission to continue with the call. Can we chat for
just a second. You can hang up anytime. Yep, that's good. Yeah,
I thought it was. Nope, No, that's no. No, no, no,
(06:36):
no no, I just want to make sure. I just
want to make no. I mean, I totally understand that.
But you can hang up anytime. We're calling on behalf
of a guy named Tim though. He called us. He says,
you guys matched on the apps and we're texting talking
about a date that never happened.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
Yeah, okay, it's weird that he called you.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
It is, I mean, I suppose it could be depending
on what happened here, but he describes what he thought
was just basic, benign conversation planning a date, and then
all of a sudden you disappeared and he spogged. He's like, well,
I was looking forward to meeting her, and I don't
know what I did or what happened, and it's been
bothering him, so we thought we'd try and get a
hold of you and ask those questions. What happened?
Speaker 7 (07:18):
Okay, Well, I mean it just kind of seemed like okay,
so we met on I mean, there's a million apps
out there, right, and it was just casual kit chatting whatever,
and personality wise, I mean, we got along really great,
Like he was really funny.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
But the thing is is.
Speaker 8 (07:38):
That like he had like two photos on there, and
they were like blurry and kind of from far away
and to the point of where I didn't like and
he was.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
With like other people like on his profile, I didn't
really know.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
Like who specifically he was. Does that make sense?
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Okay, So you were confused on his dating profile that
the pictures were a little obscure and you were just
trying to get some clarific like which person am I
talking to? I don't put multiple people on your profiles.
I've been saying this, guys, like, put me on the profiles.
There's no confusion. Put clear pictures that are recent of you,
and so like, okay, So like, oh.
Speaker 8 (08:15):
Maybe maybe he's, like, I don't know, a little nervous
to have a dating app or something. I mean, we
can't really date like normal people anymore, so I understand
why it would be a little embarrassing to put yourself
on it app.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
So I casually said, you know, can I.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Have your Instagram?
Speaker 4 (08:32):
And found his Instagram.
Speaker 8 (08:33):
And it's the same situation, like, ok aren't It's there's
not a whole lot of photos.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
It's kind of blurry.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
They're really old, like I'm saying, middle two thousands.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Oh, it's like drawings of him he drew. He drew
pictures of himself mid two thousand, so twenty year old
pictures that a little bit of the actual photographs that
he scanned and Kinko's or something and put up there.
Speaker 8 (08:58):
I mean, you know what I'm saying, where it's like, oh,
they haven't posted in forever, and it's you know, I
was like, I don't. It just kind of seemed like
it might be like a scam or like a bot.
But I knew it wasn't a bot because he was
talking to me. I don't know, it was just to me.
It's we're in a technological age. If you're going to
go on these dating apps, you've got to show people
(09:19):
what you look like.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
And it's clear it was hard for you to identify
whether this what was really going on here. You weren't
sure who you were looking at. You didn't get a
clear picture, and so you what you just kind of
got spooked and stopped talking to him. Is that is
that it?
Speaker 6 (09:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (09:33):
It was really just early on, and I don't know,
it just kind of seemed like he had something to
hide or I and I don't really.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Have time to do with that.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
I don't really want to do it much. In it
before where I matched with somebody, and then like as
I get to sort of like looking more carefully at it,
because you're going kind of fast through that thing, and
then you're like, wait a minute, like I need to
reverse image, Like this is dua lipa in these pictures.
I don't know why she's going out with me. Let
me bring Tim in and ask these questions. I'm sorry, Olivia,
I get for get I get caught up in a
(10:01):
story and I forget Tim is here Tim? Why not
some clear photographs of ourselves? Why don't we just post
like what we look like so there's no confusion and
then this doesn't happen.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
I mean, like, the short answer is, I'm just not Like,
I'm not one of those people who's always on their phone,
you know, like I take pictures when I take pictures,
but like I don't need to be posting myself all
the time.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
But it's a dating profile, man, Like, we're selling ourselves here,
so we want good pictures of ourselves that are clear
and easy to identify.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Sure, yeah, totally, But like you know, I also I'm
not interested in people only who like only care about
looks and like need.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
Like, no, I just wanted to know if you were AI, bro,
Like she just wanted to know if it was Chad
GPT that she was. I mean, I think she's meeting
you in person, man, Like, can't you appreciate that somebody
wants some assurance that they're meeting a real human being.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Sure, I mean she could have just asked me if
I was a real human being. She could ask me
for pictures at any time.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I would say yes to that. Okay, okay, have you
not talked to CHADGBT lately because it pretends like it's real.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yep, Well, would the robot have called the radio station
to talk to her?
Speaker 1 (11:06):
I don't know anymore. I really don't know. I have
no idea, but I mean, I guess she could have
said to you, Olivia. You probably could have said to him, hey, look,
the conversation's good, but can you send me a picture
of you or something? Because I don't. I don't know.
I don't feel like this all looks legit. I mean,
I suppose you could have said that, but then again,
you don't really have to because you don't know this person. Yeah,
(11:28):
I don't. I mean it was really just early on.
Speaker 8 (11:30):
I don't really have to do that kind of stuff,
you know, like, if you're not going to be if
you're not going to play into the rules of this
kind of dating game, then I don't.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
I don't even want to dive into that, you know, and.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
You're saying to him, she's superficial because she wanted to
know what you look like, which is crazy.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
I'm saying that it seems like that's all she cares
about in this conversation.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Like, I'm not saying that.
Speaker 3 (11:49):
I don't know if she's superficial or not, but like
the focus of this seems to be seems to be
just about.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Looks, which is so I think she cares about holding
on to her identity and not winding up on dateline.
And I think it's what she cares.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
I mean, to me, that's what I ad fish or
something catfish. I mean, that's the thing that happens to
men a lot more than it does to women.
Speaker 5 (12:09):
Like sorry, true, it matters what someone looks like, like
you have to like and.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
If you're obscuring what you look like for some reason,
scaring what I look like.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
I just don't take a lot of pictures, like I
just I just don't you.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Know, like this, Yeah, I like a man, you know.
I like a man that has a dusty social media
off of social. Yeah, I don't want my man on social.
I want him to post only on my birthday, tell
me happy birthday. Okay, maybe Mother's Day for his mom,
but other than that, he don't really need to be
on social. Now, I was on her side, and so
he said, all she had to do was ask him
to send her a photo.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
He would have said it, why but why are your
pictures twenty years old? Are you? Are you saying that's
only years old? They're not twenty years old.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
I don't know why she thinks they're twenty years old.
They're not twenty years old. They're a couple of years old.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
We're talking about meaning in person. It's a wild world.
I guess I would want to be them that I
know who I'm talking.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
He doesn't update their headshots, like they're not going to
do their dating profiles all the time.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
I think people are far more likely to update their
dating profiles than.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
Anything, honestly, hobby like his is what is the the
twenty sixteen cubs thing whatever like that?
Speaker 2 (13:14):
His photos were from twenty sixteen, and.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
You also met him in twenty nineteen, so that's.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
Part twenty twenty.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
So four, What is his current dating profile?
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Yeah, what do you mean, hobby? The current one?
Speaker 4 (13:27):
I take them, actually.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Take the new pictures and what sort of freaky stuff.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
You look on his instagram?
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Though before I came along, it would be like wings
like wingstop without.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
His Instagram profile is fine? Dating profile needs to be updated.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
I think it should be current. I think I think
it's it's willing.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
Is he willing to take a new photo and send
it to her?
Speaker 8 (13:47):
Now?
Speaker 1 (13:48):
Tim, can we broke her a deal?
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Like?
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Will you send her? Mean, Olivia, would you even be
interested if he can verify his like hold up a
newspaper with today's date, you know, and picture of you?
Speaker 8 (13:57):
Right, I mean, honestly, just to fuck that he like?
Speaker 4 (14:00):
I mean, like, why are you so obsessed with me?
Speaker 8 (14:01):
Like you like called the radio station, Like that's weird.
I don't know you guys found like a dude.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Okay, all right, look, I.
Speaker 6 (14:12):
Don't think.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Newish pictures. But at the same time, I just this
isn't going to be a match. So Olivia, thank you
for answering for your time. Tim, good luck out there.
Caitlin's Entertainment report, He's on the Bread Show.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Oh Boy.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
Jared Leto is facing serious allegations from nine different women
who accuse him of inappropriate behavior, everything from that to
abusing his power and pursuing teenage girls. The claims are
spanning over years and include lots of disturbing details. He
released a statement denying all allegations.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
By the way, but if you've been on TikTok or
on the Internet.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
There have been whispers of this sort of thing for
a really long time, so we'll see how that all
plays out.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Samuel L. Jackson, who of course.
Speaker 5 (14:57):
Had a very big role in Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl
halftime show. He was huge for but he admitted something
when he was on the Mad Sad Bad podcast.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
He said that he had no idea.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
What the show even was about.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
It was kind of trippy because when when when we
were rehearsing, you know, we just had our clothes on, yeah,
and I was looking at the dancers and they were
doing nothing doing that. Dad done the things and done
the stuff. And it wasn't until dress rehearsal that when
I looked up and I looked on that stage and
I go, that's a flag. Yeah, and he was doing.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
I'm in the civil rights movement again, We're being revolutionary.
Speaker 6 (15:40):
It's like, because I wasn't listening to pan attention, you know, yeah,
you picked the right person but the wrong time and
all that's like the revolution.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
I was like, oh, okay, here I am again. But
here I am again.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
It's very funny that Kendrick didn't like sit down with
him and was like, Okay, this is what our messages
or whatever. He's like, Yo, you just want to be
the ring leader. And he was dressed his uncle Sam
right yay, so was. I liked just being there as
he put it all together. He described it in a
very funny way, and I liked that they had their
clothes on during rehearsal, which is a good thing to
do when you're in public. Moving on to a couple
(16:14):
surprise performances over the weekend. The first went down when
Olivia Rodrigo brought out David Byrne to perform a duet
of the Talking Heads nineteen eighty three smash Burning Down
the House, and over in Liverpool, Paul McCartney joined Bruce
Springsteen to play a version of the Beatles song Can't
Buy Me Love during his encore, which was very exciting
(16:35):
for lots of people that were there. And speaking of music,
I spent the weekend with mister Dwayne Michael Carter Junior
aka Lil Wayne and his Carter's Tikes album.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
I saw Keky did a recap of the album.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
I also saw that there was a lot of hate
online and I don't think he gets the respect that
he deserves. I agree with Keekey on that one. I
think there's some bangers on the album, lots of features.
My favorite I think right now is hip hop with
Big X the Plug. But don't we hate like he's
a legend see and we might be a Lil Wayne apologists,
(17:08):
but we can't help it. I think it's a good album.
I don't know Jelly rolls on it. And speaking of
Jelly Roll and Lil Wayne, by the way, our iHeartRadio
Music Festival is back. They're both gonna be there. Tate McCrae,
the Offspring Tim McGraw as well. Thats September nineteenth and
twentieth in Vegas and you can listen to win tickets
before you can buy them, including airfare, hotel economy, accommodations
(17:31):
in Vegas plus one thousand dollars. And that is today
still right at nine am, one pm and five pm.
Perasone awesome today and tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
You have to ask Dad for permisson to give those
trips away. Dad. Is it okay?
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Guys, get out your little coin pert you turn this
car use Oh we'll do it too.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
By the way, if you missed any part of our
show and you want to catch up on anything, just
type the frend show on demand and set us as
a preset on the free iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
I'm just gonna see what happens. I'm gonna push the show,
but Hilly and see what happens, Shelly Button Hell, but
they still Kiky has never been happier to hear your voice.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Did a good job, though.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
I try to make you proud, Shelly, I really did
you did know you did?
Speaker 6 (18:21):
You know?
Speaker 3 (18:21):
What?
Speaker 6 (18:22):
You know?
Speaker 4 (18:22):
What's hilarious is I tune in a couple of times.
Speaker 9 (18:24):
The first time I tuned in was like end of March,
I think, and I heard elevator music and I was.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Like, what's They kicked him off the air. I was like,
what's going on?
Speaker 1 (18:34):
I think that was one of the days the internet
or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sometimes they don't pay the
internet bill around here. They don't have the satellites all
lined up the right way. They got some Pauline up there. Yeah,
they got to dangle her from a helicopter like the zebra,
you know, and then they and they make her just stuff. Yeah,
it's it's a wild world. Yeah, nothing changed around here,
(18:55):
Shelley in the three months you've been gone.
Speaker 9 (18:57):
Not a thing.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
No, we're still rokies around here and low budget. Yeah,
it's about right. So how is how is motherhood with two?
Speaker 9 (19:08):
It is crazy? It is it is wild, it is NonStop.
I'm exhausted, but it's good. Baby Liam, he's the best.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
He's the best.
Speaker 9 (19:16):
And Olivia she's it was a little rough at first,
uh being a big sister, but she she's taking to
it now. I would say it's taken a couple of months,
a raking progress.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
So that's the good news.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
Okay, Yes, she's.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Three now, she's three, she turned three last week.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
All these kids I got to keep track of. Man,
I got, I got your kids, I got I got
my nieces, I got my illegitimate children. I have kids.
I mean I got all kind kid all my kids,
A lot of kids I got to keep track of.
But but you know I don't have to raise any
of them, thank God. So we leave that to the
qualified people.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
Right right.
Speaker 9 (19:49):
But yeah, so otherwise good just yeah, exhausted and glad
to be back.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Okay, well, welcome back, Shelby. Shelley. Here's the thing, since
you left, I think we've like gone on in different
cities and people might not know that that show the
game is showby is Shelley's Showdown. It's always has been
for like twenty some years, has been the showdown. She
joined our show to do the game, among other things,
and then you had a baby, and then you disappeared,
(20:17):
and then we went on in some different places, and
