About Alanna

Alanna is an illustrator, collector of cookbooks, mother to one fat cat, and cultivator of genius hair. She believes that talent is a myth that can stop us from pursuing our creative passions, and that practice makes progress and perfection is imaginary (and boring to boot!). She believes in community and collaboration over competition, and helps run the Everyday Creatives, an online creative cooperative. Alanna is a self-professed nerd for learning, and spends a generous amount of time on Skillshare, where she teaches and hunting for new classes to love.
