20: Cycling with the Santas

It’s been an annual holiday tradition since the Buffalo Lodge became the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort 7 years ago. The first Saturday in December we trade in our kits for Santa Suits to ride a spread cheer through our community. The Cycling Santa benefits Christmas Unlimited and participants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to help kids less fortunate in our community.

The ride has something for every ability, from 6 to 10 miles to the 22 mile full route. The routes travel along the Pikes Peak Greenway and are all relatively flat. The long ride continues through downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City to the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort for a big waffle breakfast and party before heading back to the start.
