Agi Keramidas (00:03):
Agi, welcome to
Personal Development mastery
podcast. I'm your host, AgiKeramidas, and today we are
celebrating an incrediblemilestone episode, 500 of the
podcast. In this 500 episodesover five years, I've had the
(00:23):
honour of speaking with thoughtleaders, authors, spiritual
teachers, entrepreneurs andremarkable people from around
the world. It's a journey thathas personally transformed me
and continues to do so, but evenmore meaningfully, it has
(00:44):
touched the lives of you thelistener, and I'm truly grateful
and excited to have reachedepisode 500 what a milestone.
I'm delighted to be sharing thiswith you today. There is a story
I've heard that I've come toappreciate more over time, and
(01:09):
it feels particularly relevantas I am recording this many
years ago, a man decided tobuild a stone wall behind his
house. He wasn't a builder, justsomeone who had an idea and
wanted to create something. Sohe made a commitment to place a
(01:32):
stone every day. So some days itwas easy. The sun was out. His
energy was high, you know, themortar was mixed just right.
Other days it rained, his bodywas sore. The stones, you know,
(01:53):
didn't quite sit the way hewanted them to. But still,
despite all that, he continuedto place one stone a day. After
a while, the war began to takeshape. At 100 stones, it was
(02:14):
just a curiosity. At 300 stones, people started to notice at 400
stones, they asked him how hekept going. After a few years,
it wasn't just a wall. It hadbecome something others could
lean on. And the day he laid the500 stone, the man stepped back
(02:43):
and realised it wasn't just awall anymore. It was a piece of
him, his intention, hisdiscipline, his values, and he
realised that more importantthan what he had just built was
(03:05):
who he had become in theprocess. This story resonates
with me because this podcast hasbeen built one episode at a
time, one meaningfulconversation, one insight, one
intention at a time, and now atepisode 500 I realise this isn't
(03:33):
just a podcast anymore. It's apart of me, and it is something
you who are listening right nowcan lean on, learn from and
grow. And so to mark this momenttoday, not just as a milestone,
(03:55):
but as a reflection of what'sbeen built, I would like to
revisit a few of the stones thattruly shaped this wall sort of
speech. So out of 500 episodes,we will revisit five key
(04:17):
insights, no more, just five.
These insights come from fivestandout episodes that have
consistently resonated with you,my fellow mastery seeker. These
aren't just five powerfulinterviews. These are five of
the most downloaded and sharedconversations out of all 500
(04:44):
episodes, these are fiveinsights that have left their
mark on this podcast. So join meas we revisit this. Powerful
moments, and let's start withthe first one. And the first one
comes from the old time mostdownloaded episode of the
(05:10):
podcast. And the Insight isabout gratitude. When Andrew cup
first joined me back in episode67 he shared a perspective on
gratitude that stood out, notjust because of what he said,
but how he said it. Gratitudefor Andrew isn't a checklist
(05:36):
item. It's not just aboutlisting things you're thinking
for. It is a tool for changingyour emotional state. It's a
shift in energy. He said,There's nothing to lose and
everything to gain by engagingin a process of gratitude and
(05:59):
then seeing for yourself whathappens. In other words,
gratitude isn't aboutperformance. It's about
presence. It's about triggeringa different frequency in
ourselves, not proving thatyou're a positive person. And
(06:21):
when Andrew returned to thepodcast a couple of years later
in episode 312 he took thisinsight even further. He
highlighted the feeling not justthe act of gratitude, and he
(06:45):
said feeling good is not like ahammer that you swing to shatter
your problems. It's more like apaint brush that you gently
stroke, blending answers andsolutions into your life so that
your challenges fade. I thinkthat metaphor is powerful.
(07:09):
Gratitude isn't a tool meant tooverpower or force your way
through problems. It is a gentlepractice, a creative act, and
when you begin to use gratitudethis way, it stops being a
(07:31):
routine, and it becomes aresource. So from gratitude as
an energetic shift, let's moveon to something just us
foundational our values, becauseonce we are attuned to how we
(07:51):
feel, the next question is, whattruly matters to me, and no one
has unpacked that more clearlythan Dr John Demartini in
episode 190 where the secondinsight comes from. Dr de
(08:13):
martinis work around humanbehaviour and value systems is
transformative in ourconversation. One of the things
he spoke about was living inalignment with your highest
values. And he said that peoplemake decisions based on their
(08:36):
own values, not ours, and wemake decisions based on our
values, not theirs. And he said,If we compare ourselves to
others, we're not going tocompare our daily actions to our
own highest values. I willrepeat this to sink in. Compare
(08:58):
our daily actions to our ownhighest values. This core
message about living congruentlywith our values is a call to
clarity many of us say success, happiness or approval, but real
(09:24):
transformation comes when wealign our decisions, our habits,
our goals and Our daily actionswith what matters most to us
personally, it's not about doingmore, it's about doing what
(09:45):
truly reflects who we are. Bythe way, you will find links to
this and all five episodes inthe show notes you.
And so if values define ourdirection, perception defines
(10:08):
our attitude, because even if weare aligned with what matters to
us, we still bump up againstwhat we believe is possible. And
that's where the next insightcomes in from Victoria Rader in
episode 288 one of the mostdownloaded in the podcast
(10:33):
history. That conversation tookus into the world of perception
and energy, but in a grounded, applicable way. Victoria spoke
with passion and precision abouthow our internal world view
(10:55):
literally creates the limits ofwhat we can receive in life. She
said, You cannot out. Imagineperception. You can only feel,
and imagine what you alreadyperceive. And she added, we
first perceive to receive sothat we can imagine to send it
(11:21):
out, what a profound shift thatcreates, because before we can
expand, we must first upgradeour perception of what's
possible. If you see yourself assmall, under qualified or
(11:42):
unworthy, that belief will setyour ceiling. This insight
reminds us that personaldevelopment isn't about adding
skills, it's about transformingthe lens through which we
experience life. So far, we haveexplored gratitude, values and
(12:09):
perception, but personal masteryisn't just internal. It also
shows up in how we communicate, and that brings us to our fourth
insight from a refreshingpractical voice communication
coach, Brandon kumarasamybrought a different kind of
(12:32):
wisdom, one rooted inConfidence, playfulness and
practice. He said something inepisode 292, that became one of
the podcasts most quoted lines.
He said, If you can make senseout of nonsense, you can make
(12:52):
sense out of anything. Thisisn't as clever. It says
liberating. Brandon's approachis about removing the pressure
of perfection. He encourages usto practice speaking about silly
(13:12):
things, like in his example, describing avocados, just to
stretch our confidence muscle, and when we do that, when we
practice it, over time, webecome more fluent, more present
and more powerful in realconversations, it is A perfect
(13:34):
example of how play leads tomastery. So far, we've talked
about skills, perception, values, gratitude, all tools for
growth. But sometimestransformation doesn't come from
(13:57):
any of this. Sometimes it comesfrom tuning inwards to intuition
to symbols to unseen layers ofreality, and that brings us to
our fifth and final insight froma conversation that brought a
(14:19):
more mystical dimension to thepodcast. The episode 388 with
hope fit Gerald about theInfinity wave was one that
clearly resonated with listenersin a big way. She explored how
symbolic intention can shiftyour emotional state and even
(14:48):
your reality, she said, and Iwill quote her verbatim here, if
I want to change my reality, I'mgoing to. Use this symbol in my
mind's eye to imprint upon thesituation. It shifts the
situation into a much higherstate. This is more than just
(15:10):
visualisation. This is aboutusing energetic tools, tools
that can bypass the densereality, shall we say, and
trigger change in that way, hope, featureless message
(15:32):
reminds us that we are notpassive observers of life. We
are co creators and withclarity, intention and inner
focus, we can change ourenergetic frequency, and with
that, we can change ourcircumstances, our reality. And
with that final insight, we comefull circle back to the heart of
(16:01):
why this podcast exists. Lookingback on these 500 episodes, I
feel immense gratitude, not justfor the opportunity to speak
with remarkable people, but forthe trust and attention of every
(16:26):
person who has listened, sharedand applied what they've heard
these five moments we exploredtoday are more than quotes. They
are invitations, tools, turningpoints, if you wish, so,
(16:54):
regardless of where you are inyour personal development
journey, I hope these lessonshelp you feel more aligned and
more empowered. And as I lookahead, the next chapter of this
podcast will bring even morestories, tools and voices, and I
(17:17):
warmly invite you to walk thatpath with me. My final comment
regarding reaching 500 episodesis, this is just the beginning.
It's my promise and commitmentto you until next time. Keep
(17:41):
believing in yourself, keepgrowing and as always, Stand out
don't fit in you.
