Animal lover and copy editor for PETA, Tracy Habenicht recently leapt head long into the world of street photography. She may be new to the genre, but she brings a fresh perspective to the camera and a wonderful discussion to the microphone.
Beginning her interest in December of 2016, Tracy immediately discovered a love of photographing people and her surroundings. Throughout this episode we explore her work with PETA [yes, we briefly discussed the baboon selfie], her path to the camera, artistic inspirations, women in photography and so much more.
Experience makes us better - this is an accepted constant in pretty much any industry. But, its a fresh eye that can usually discover what a veteran eye can often overlook. This is the benefit of talking with new street photographers and why having Tracy on the show was so much fun.
