(00:04):
I want to talk to you todayabout morning routines, and
specifically, I want to shareone of my favorite ones, and for
me, that's putting in my order. So when we're looking at ways to
start the day, the whole purposebehind these routines is to kind
of get your day going in thedirection you want. To take it

(00:27):
right. It's to be intentional. It's to help create the energy
that you want and call that inand get that started rolling
throughout the day. So one of myfavorite ways to do this is what
I like to call putting in myorder, and that is to before,
like I'm even out the bed, literally, like I haven't even

(00:48):
set up yet, as soon as, like, Iopen my eyes, kind of, give it a
minute and I think about what itis I want to experience for the
day, right? Like, what feelings, what senses do I want to have
throughout the day? And that'swhat I will call in. And I

(01:09):
normally speak this aloud, right? Because I like to use the
power of our voice. And thenonce I have that, and I've
spoken that and put that orderin, I will find a song that I
think most closely aligns tothat, or would evoke the
feelings and sensations that Iwant to feel. And then I'll put

(01:31):
that on, and I'll dance to that. And then once that's done, then
I'll go ahead and like, Goshower and do all the normal get
ready things, right? And for me,I really enjoy this because,
one, I love to dance so, likeanytime, dances so healing and
powerful and has played, like amajor part in a lot of my life,

(01:54):
like I've just always loved it.So it's, it's a return to
something for me, and it's justsomething that really resonates
very well and serves me. Sothat's part of why I dance. But
one of what I really appreciateabout this putting in my order

(02:17):
exercise right, is like, I getto one, take a moment actually
be intentional about like, whatdo I want to experience? What am
I calling in, and bring thatforward. And then I also get to
then. So I'm using the power ofwords and speech, right, because
that's part of how we create andthen I'm actually giving myself

(02:41):
a chance to embody that, toactually feel those feelings
right now and start my day thatway. And when we can do that.
One, it amplifies like thatpower of that intention. But
two, it also makes it easier tofeel throughout the day, like

(03:06):
when you're getting off track, right? Because if you start your
day feeling this way, andactually letting yourself
experience what it feels likewhen that starts to shift, you
notice it faster. So you canactually shift yourself back and
take a pause, take a breath, right? Whatever you need to do
to realign and readjust yourselfto be back on target for

(03:30):
whatever it was that you saidyou wanted to experience,
because you want it. So thatmeans you also need to action
toward it, right? So like, yes, there's the power of our speech,
but we need to also be puttingas much energy in as many layers
of our energy as we can behindthat desire. So this is just a

(03:55):
great way to do that. It doesn'ttake very long, you know? I
mean, unless you grab like areally ridiculously long song,
which I guess could happen, butnormally fun, you know, three
and a half to, like, fiveminutes and you're done. If it
takes you a long time to thinkof what you want, you know,
maybe it's, it's the startingpoint is 10 minutes, but it's

(04:18):
not that much time in your day,and it's a great way to start in
the right direction, right to,like, kick start what you're
what you're going for, to getclear on what it is that you're
going for, and then to get it inyour body to know what it feels
like when that's happening, sothat you can recognize if you're

(04:41):
veering away from that, and thenyou get to decide, like, hey,
nope, I really do want that. Solike, let's course correct, and
let's go towards what I said Iwanted, because I do want it.
And it just makes that a littlebit more easier, a little bit
more fun. And that's one of,like, the favorite ways for me

(05:02):
to start my day. Take care.
