It's a favorite time of year on the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show. Halloween is here, Thanksgiving is fast approaching abd the college football season has reached a point it can warrant legislate discussions about the playoff.
On this episode of the HBS, Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo talk which teams have the inside track on getting in the playoff, which teams need help and which crazy scenarios could shake things up or screw over certain teams. This even then leads to a debate on schedule strategy by the teams they cover professionally in West Virginia and Maryland.
After they are done talking college ball, they turn their attention to the NFL and discuss the current contenders and pretenders now a quarter plus of the way through the season.
The show closes with their World Series picks and Mike defending Mike Trout as the debate between him and Bryce Harper gets new life with Harper doing the only thing Trout has never done - lead a team to a pennant.
