A former, award-winning journalist, Carolina was raised in South America and Miami, living in NYC and CT after college. While Palm Beach has been home for almost a decade, she previously hosted a celebrity home show on Yahoo! and was a NY-based writer for publications such as TIME, Newsweek and InStyle. She has also reported for Robb Report, Conde Nast Traveler, Billboard, People, Yahoo and Telemundo. She has brought local and national editorial exposure to listings.
A Duke grad (BA, Economics) who sailed for her collegiate team, Carolina Buia Barefoot has taken interior design courses at Parsons to sharpen her skills. When not obsessing about design and real estate, she spends time with her family (two sets of twins), volunteers with Palm Beach elementary and high school students, plays tennis and sails in Stuart.
Laura Gambino
Laura Gambino began her career in Manhattan, working in advertising for major trade publications and then commercial real estate clients. She left her mark at Crain's New York, The National Law Journal, IMG's Fashion Week-The Daily American Lawyer Commercial clients include Cushman Wakefield, Vornado and Tishman Speyer. Storied projects Laura has been involved in are landmark buildings such as the MOMA office tower, Rockefeller Center offices, The Core Club and the Bloomberg Tower. She transitioned into residential sales with Douglas Elliman, building a reputation on referrals and repeat business.
A second generation realtor and graduate of George Washington University, Laura Gambino has spent the past 15 years living (and selling) Palm Beach County. When not working, Laura can be found on the golf course with her husband and two daughters, working out, donating her time to various non-profits or reading the latest best sellers.
