Joan Pons es un enfermero español que ejerce su profesión en Londres y que se ofreció como voluntario para que le aplicarán la vacuna contra coronavirus desarrollada por la Universidad de Oxford. Pons cuenta que su principal motivación es que la humanidad pueda tener un 2021 sin ninguna incertidumbre y que si todo sale bien, con esta vacuna, estaría lista para agosto y en diciembre podría ser distribuida en todo el mundo.
