We are back with an all new episode of Are We Adulting Yet!
This week, we covered a topic that we're sure a lot of us adults face as we get older.
Exploring our inner child is not only beneficial for the relationships we create with others, It's most beneficial for the relationship we have with ourselves.
Our inner child is an expression of not just your child self, but your lived experience of all life stages. You may channel your inner child through play or by doing something you've always enjoyed doing. Like many of us though, that inner child may be wounded due to passed traumas or neglect.
As we dive deeper into adulthood, we realize that a lot of our internal problems and struggles are because we are living with a wounded inner child. We may see that a lot of our fears, anxiety or doubt stems from this. And when we dig deep to understand this, we then allow space in our lives to reparent that inner child and create a healthier and happier life for ourselves. A part of adulting means we are now responsible for every aspect of our lives, including healing from our past. Tune in to hear what helps us and others during this healing journey.
Also, we are currently taking any suggestions for any future guest appearances on the show. So if you feel like you or someone you know may be a good fit, HIT US UP!
