Wash: - Being the grounding factor in a conversation? Inconceivable Simon: - Has more balls than people give him credit for - His Whedon-isms show his character growth over all. He has integrated into the crew - Nice to see he has the same fire for Kaylee as he does for River Kaylee: - Thoughts and heart is on her sleeve; this is why River can read her - The terror you see from her is amazing when dealing with Early - p Mal: - He personifies "Instinct" in this episode - Nice to see him trusting in River, to the point he fights his instinct - Nice range of emotions showing the weight of everything happening Sheppard: River picks up on something with Book, much like the audience would be - Not trying to save the crew, even though they are not innocent/Righteous Inara: - She has the ability to "read" as well as seen with her interaction with Early - You can tell that she was torn between leaving and staying, and see it through every scene she is in Early: - Is he similar to River? Hard no from Drew - Has a lot of "River-isms" > Likely there to help with the mirroring of the overall theme Nothing big with Wash, Zoe, and Jayne, but they react as expected in the situation ... You're just sitting there watching Deadpool, and are like "I love you Inara"
