She's also had recurring roles on Agents of SHIELD and Castle. We discuss growing up in Switzerland and feeling a little different, her first role playing a bird, coming to the U.S. to study theatre in college, the pressure of working to fulfill her visa, waiting for auditions at L.A. Film School, how doing casting workshops opened doors for her, the importance of total immersion in acting, losing a TV role because of visa papers, how meditation and gratitude have changed her life and career, and not being afraid to be messy.
