In 1996, my world was shatteredwhen my uncle Leon Lorella is.
Was shot execution style and asmall town in Texas.
To this day, his murder remainsunsolved.

and Leon's friends andcoworkers.
Here at box in the basement.
We want to shed light on theoverwhelming number of unsolved
murders and disappearances herein Texas and beyond.
Ultimately, we want to getjustice for Leon.

dust in a box, in a basement.
Hello, everyone.
Some colleagues and friendsjoined Lee and me this past
weekend.
For a Memorial and demonstrationin Brownwood, Texas.
To bring awareness to cold casesin central Texas.

There are over 20,000 unsolvedmurders in the state of Texas.
I am hopeful that the March weheld will be the inaugural
central Texas cold case March.
At gathering, fueled by ourcollective determination to
bring justice to the familiesand communities affected by
unsolved murders anddisappearances.

Driven by compassion, resolve.
And an unwavering commitment tothose whose voices have been
silenced by the passage of time.
I hope through our combinedefforts, we can eliminate the
shadows of the past and deliverclosure to those.
We have long awaited answers.
Each unsolved case representsnot just a statistic, but a life

cut short, a family torn apart.
And a community left grapplingwith uncertainty.
We refuse to let these storiesfade into obscurity we refuse to
accept that justice is beyondour reach.
Instead, we stand togetheremboldened by the belief that

And a tireless advocacy.
We can uncover the truth andbring solace to those who seek
it.
Because of this project, we areunable to get an episode
completed in time for releasethis week.
