In Episode 7, I inform you about July and how it is Disability Pride month and the flag of the Disabled people. I explain the flag and how each part on the flag plus what it represents. I discuss the revolution of the Americans with Disabilities Act and how the ADA became the first comprehensive declaration of equality for people with disabilities. I also discuss other events in history that contributed to the Disability Rights movement. Even though the Americans Disability Act was enacted in 1990 there still is not equality in some areas of society for disabled peoples such as: employment, marriage just to name a few.
