Animal Guidance Series: Giraffe Medicine

Are you reaching out or stretching to reach a desired goal? What also makes the giraffe a symbol of harmony is his tendency to be gentle and peace loving, reminding us that everyone can live in a peaceful community as one using gifts and talents cooperatively. Folklore about this animal is centered around removing obstacles and accomplishing goals. Also, clarifying the difference between wants and needs in our life. Giraffes are said to have reached fruit from high level branches, leaving the lower harvest to smaller animals. 

Overall, the giraffe symbolizes harmony, vision, foresight, possibilities, gentleness, kindness, intuition, personal growth, divine connection, prayer, flexibility, a heightened perspective and awareness.
