We are spotlighting Wanda Adams Fischer with her brand new book A few bumps.
Preview : A Few Bumps is a sweet contemporary romance novel that features a hard-working woman named Amy. She is a secretary for a professor at MIT and takes night classes to finish her Bachelor’s degree. She is taking a vacation to Hawaii for her best friend’s wedding. Due to a snowstorm, Her flight must take an emergency stop in Kansas City. She doesn’t know what to do because she doesn’t have much money, only enough for her stay in Hawaii. Amy has been chatting with a handsome guy named Brian, the entire flight. They have been getting to know each other, and he invites her to stay with him and his family until the snowstorm clears. It’s a couple days before Christmas, and Amy is nervous that she can’t make it to her best friend’s wedding. Cora’s wedding is canceled due to a volcano eruption. Amy stays with Brian and his family over the holidays. His father and siblings love Amy, but his mother is not kind to her. Mrs. Emerson thinks Amy is a gold digger because she comes from a different social class. The more time Amy and Brian spend with each other, the more sparks fly, but how much can Amy take from Mrs. Emerson.
