Rose (00:01):
As I wrap up another incredible year of Chat Off The
Mat, I find myself sitting herereflecting on the profound
journey we've shared together.
When I first pressed record onthat very first episode, I
couldn't have imagined thebeautiful tapestry of healing,
wisdom and community that wouldemerge Today.

(00:25):
I want to take some time toreally dive deep into what this
year has meant, not just for thepodcast but for the broader
conversation about healing andtransformation.
This year has beentransformative in ways I never
expected.
You know, it's funny how growthoften happens in the spaces
between our plans, in thoseunexpected moments of insight

(00:46):
that come from a casualconversation with a guest, or in
the comments from our listenersthat make us see things in a
completely new light.
This podcast has grown not justin numbers but in depth, in
understanding and in therichness of our conversations To

(01:07):
our amazing guests.
Each of you has broughtsomething uniquely powerful to
the conversations the Reikimasters, who've shared how
energy healing can bridge thegap between traditional medicine
and holistic wellness.
The Qigong practitioners, who've taught us about the
profound connection betweenmovement, breath and healing.

(01:27):
The yoga teachers, who've shownus how ancient wisdom can
address modern stress andanxiety.
The art therapists, psychicsand mediums, who've helped us
understand that healing oftenextends beyond the physical
realm.
Each of you has contributed toa greater understanding of what

(01:49):
healing truly means in ourmodern world.
You know, one of the mostbeautiful things I've witnessed
this year is how differenthealing modalities can work
together, creating a morecomplete picture of wellness.
I've had episodes wherepractitioners from different
traditions found common ground, where ancient practices were

(02:12):
validated by modern science andwhere new healing techniques
emerged from the blending ofdifferent approaches.
This kind of collaboration andcross-pollination of ideas is
exactly what the healingcommunity needs right now.
Speaking of change andtransformation, let's talk about
that for a moment.
This year has taught me thatgrowth often requires us to step

(02:36):
out of our comfort zones.
I've learned that sometimes themost powerful healing happens
when we're willing to trysomething new, to look at our
challenges from a differentperspective.
We've had guests who'vecompletely transformed their
practices and their lives byincorporating new modalities,

(02:58):
who have looked at thingsdifferently, who have found
healing in unexpected places andwho've had the courage and I
repeat, the courage to shareboth their successes and their
struggles.
I want to share a personalstory about transformation.
For me, this year has beenabout being a guest on other

(03:19):
podcasts and sharing my personalhealing stories and how I
reinvented myself and began thejourney on this path to helping
others.
It has also been about writingmy book and getting it to an
editor finally, with theintention of publishing it in
2025.
For me, it's also been aboutlearning what I need to let go

(03:42):
of really important Gotta, letgo of things that no longer
serve my greatest and highestgood, and finding the courage
once again the courage to forgenew paths.
Sometimes growth isn'tcomfortable and it hasn't been
but it's always worth it,Especially when we're pursuing
growth and aligning with ourmost authentic self.

(04:07):
One of the most excitingdevelopments this year has been
how this community has embracednew ways of healing.
We've explored sound healing, art therapy, plant spirit, Reiki
.
We've explored grief counseling, how to deal with narcissistic
relationships.

(04:27):
We've explored so manydifferent ways to look at what
can help us, what can guide us,what can change our lives, what
can make our lives better.
Maybe some of these things areunconventional now.
Maybe they were just a fewyears ago.

(04:47):
Maybe they still seem a littlewoo-woo to some, but be open
because you never know what's onthe other side of that.
We need to embrace change and weneed to really really be open

(05:07):
to new possibilities, to newthings, to new ways of doing
things.
That is what allows for thatquantum leap of transformation
to occur, not just withinourselves, but within the entire
world, and we always try tohonor traditional wisdom.
It's been there forever.
Why change that now?
Let's honor it and let's allowit to really emerge the way it's
supposed to be, not in justpockets where only a few people

(05:31):
are practicing certain thingslike Qigong, for example,
something that's been around forso many years.
It's just starting to emergehere in the US.
We're going to change thatright.
We're going to allow for thesenew modalities quote-unquote new
modalities to really stepforward, and I hope people will

(05:53):
embrace them.
On the podcast, I'll continue tohave segments that focus on
practical application of coursewe always need that and how to
integrate different healingmodalities into daily life.
How to develop your own healinggifts, for example.
How to tap into your ownintuition, that inner guidance

(06:14):
that's always there and weforget about it.
How to navigate the challengesthat come with personal
transformation.
When we change, things change.
Others may change, may notchange, but we need to know how
to navigate that To thelisteners your willingness to
explore these different paths,to ask questions, to share your

(06:37):
own experiences.
It's been incredible.
I've received messages frompeople who tried Qigong for the
first time after listening to anepisode and found it
life-changing, From those whofinally understood their
empathic abilities after hearingfrom our psychic guests, From
skeptics who became believersafter experiencing the power of

(06:57):
energy healing firsthand.
The growth I've seen in thiscommunity has been nothing short
of remarkable.
We've started or I've startedwith just a handful of listeners
and now we have people tuningin from all over the world, each
bringing their own perspectiveand experience to our collective
understanding of healing.
Your questions have become morenuanced, your insights deeper

(07:28):
and your willingness to engagewith new ideas more apparent
with each episode.
I'd love for you to take amoment right now, wherever you
are, to reflect on your ownjourney this past year.
You know you are a differentperson than you were at the
beginning of the year.
So what discoveries have youmade about yourself?
What new healing modalitieshave you explored?
Perhaps you tried Reiki for thefirst time or started a daily

(07:51):
meditation practice?
Maybe you discovered your ownhealing gifts or found the
courage to share them withothers.
Take a deep breath and reallysit with the magnitude of your
own growth.
Now think about the challengesyou faced and overcome those

(08:14):
moments of doubts that turnedinto breakthrough, the
synchronicities that led youexactly to the right teacher or
healing practice at exactly theright time.
Your growth is part of ourcollective evolution and I honor
wherever you are on your path.
Looking ahead at 2025, I canbarely contain my excitement

(08:39):
about what's to come.
I have some amazing andgroundbreaking episodes planned
that will challenge ourunderstanding of healing and
wellness.
I'll be exploring theintersection of technology and
traditional healing practices, diving into emerging modalities
that blend ancient wisdom withmodern science, and creating

(09:00):
more opportunities for ourcommunity to connect and learn
from each other.
I believe 2025 will be a yearof unprecedented growth and
discovery in the healing arts.
A year of unprecedented growthand discovery in the healing
arts.
We're seeing more openness toalternative healing methods than
ever before, More researchvalidating traditional practices
and more people awakening totheir own healing potential.

(09:23):
Chat Off the Mat will be at theforefront of these developments
, bringing you voices andperspectives that challenge,
inspire and empower.
Remember that transformation andgrowth are not always linear.
Sometimes they spiral,Sometimes they leap, Sometimes
they have to stand still, buteach step, each experience, each

(09:56):
moment of learning contributesto our collective evolution as
healers and human beings.
Now, as we stand on thethreshold of a new year, I
invite you to join me in amoment of reflection and
intention setting.
Let's take a deep breath.
Let's create some space forwhat we want to call in for 2025

(10:17):
.
What healing practices come tomind that you would like to
explore?
What gifts within yourself areready to be developed?
Maybe you're feeling called todeepen your existing practice.
Perhaps there's a completelynew modality that's been

(10:37):
catching your attention.
What would it feel like tofully commit to your healing
journey this year?
I invite you to set threeintentions for your healing
journey in 2025.
They don't have to be grandgestures or dramatic changes.
It could be as simple ascommitting to five minutes of
morning meditation or Qigongpractice, or finally booking a

(10:58):
session with that person or thathealer who's going to help you
work through some earlychildhood or inner childhood
experiences that you may bestruggling with, or maybe
something that you're reallypassionate about, that you want
to start.
It doesn't have to be in thehealing modalities.

(11:20):
It could be a hobby.
It could be anything.
Think about what thoseintentions are Now.
Feel those intentions in yourbody.
Place them in your heart, Placethem in your solar plexus,
Place them in your third eye,Place them in your entire being.
Really feel them in the body.

(11:41):
Make them a part of you, Makethem a part of your energy.
Our intentions are not set instone.
They're a seed that's plantedwithin and, with careful
attention, they'll grow.
Our intentions are not set instone.
There is seed that's plantedwithin and, with careful
attention, they'll grow.
They may not grow the way youfeel that they need to grow, but
they'll surface in the waythat's best for you.

(12:02):
The future is bright, brightwith possibility.
I'm honored to continue thisjourney with all of you and
until our next conversation orchat, maybe you'll embrace
change with courage, seek growthwith curiosity and walk your
healing path with an open heart.
May your intentions for 2025blossom into beautiful realities

(12:25):
.
And, to our future guests, Ican't wait to share your wisdom
To listeners.
Thank you for being a part ofthis journey of discovery and
growth.
To the healing community atlarge, thank you for continuing
to push boundaries, for stayingopen to new possibilities, for
holding space for transformationin all its forms.

(12:47):
As we close this year, I wantto express my deepest gratitude
for every person who hascontributed to this podcast, the
guests who've shared theirwisdom, the listeners who've
opened their hearts and minds, and to my family and friends
who've supported me.
Each of you is a part of thisbeautiful tapestry of healing
and growth we're weavingtogether.

(13:08):
Thank you all so much, Wishingyou a beautiful, abundant, happy
and healthy 2025.
