Rocky Sullivan and Jerry Connolly were two kids from the wrong side of the tracks, who scratched out a living as thieves, until their path diverged after a heist goes wrong. Rocky becomes a textbook recidivist, in and out of prison for the next 15 years for various crimes that earn him a kind of infamy in the criminal world, while his old friend Jerry becomes a priest, devoted to helping boys just like himself stay out of the life of crime. After doing a three stretch to take the wrap for his crooked lawyer, James Frazier, Rocky returns to his old stomping grounds, looking to reconnect with his pal Jerry, and to collect his ill gotten gains from his ex partner in crime. What follows is a battle for the future of six young men who idolize Rocky, and ultimately Rocky’s own soul.
